Nelson Howard is the definition of a top notch, professional DJ. He was a pleasure to work with and provided the best DJ and Karaoke for our triplets 16th Birthday party. The party would not have been the same without him. THANK YOU! -

Nelson and Brandy are AMAZING! Very easy-going but professional, know what they're doing, and keep a party going. Easy to contact/communicate with and their contract is structured so that it can be as detailed as you want it. They've been doing this for years and can help guide you through traditional or modern options for reception structure and music. They even helped me out as a last-minute request when I needed music and a mic for our rehearsal dinner.
Most importantly, they were very attentive to what was going on and would help out where they could. When I started getting overheated and faint, Nelson was one of the first to notice and made sure that I was taken care of (while still keeping the music going!). Their number one priority is making sure that the Bride and Groom are happy and comfortable
If you are looking for "human furniture" who will just be quiet and play music... they can do that, and do it well, but they are at their BEST when they are interacting with you and your guests. Thanks so much! -

Nelson was the PERFECT DJ for our wedding. He was thorough in his planning, flexible with our schedule and an overall great entertainer. He was able to get the entire crowd out on the dance floor and included fun, interactive games. If you're looking for a professional, fun and family-friendly DJ for all ages to enjoy, Cut Above Entertainment is the best! -

The DJ was there early to set up. Played music while final preperations were done. The music was excatly what we ask for. He made it alot of fun. Very professional, and flexable, taking time to speak with quest, and making sure with us that things were going as we wanted. I would recomend them to anyone looking for a DJ. Thanks Nelson.

Nelson was wonderful. He was very professional, enthusiastic and fun. He did a great job with the play list and anything else we requested....he really contributed a lot to making the party fun. -

Not long after Brian and I met each other we met Nelson while he was deejaying at a local sports bar. He always did a fabulous job and we knew as soon as we got engaged we had to track him down. Thankfully we did and are so happy he was able to DJ for us. When you hire Nelson you not only get a first rate DJ, but you also get an entertainer. He was terrific interacting with the guests and making any announcements necessary to keep things moving along smoothly. We can't express enough how much we absolutely loved the service. While on the honeymoon we were trying to think of other events we could plan just to use Nelson again :) -

Nelson did a wonderful job with our reception! He kept everyone entertained, listened to requests/honored them, and really made the event a blast! Everyone loved him and had such a great time. Our guests were always on their feet dancing and enjoying the music. He played a great variety and really was in tune with our taste. He was very easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process as well! Thank you Nelson and Brandy! -

Nelson was the DJ for my wedding in June and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! I had never been to a wedding where the guests were so involved as they were at mine. There was never a dull or boring moment the whole night! at one point in the reception ALL of the guests were up and dancing, you never see that at weddings! He made my wedding perfect, there is nothing at all i would change about the reception. if you want to have a fun filled reception i would definitely recommend him! he is awesome! -

Our DJ, Nelson, was wonderful. He was very professional and helped to make our night everything we hoped for. He kept the crowd on the dance floor and kept us on our timeline. The four hour reception seemed to be over as soon as it started so I truly appreciate Nelson keeping us on track (We didn't have a day of coordinator). Without him we would have missed out on doing all the important reception traditions due to my lack of awareness of how fast the evening was progressing. He was always available to answer any questions my husband and I had and he provided us with superb service for a great price. We couldn't have been more pleased! Thanks again Nelson and Brandy!!! -

Everything was great! I required a lot of detail and mixes in many of my songs and Nelson fulfilled all my requests! He did a great job. He worked with me on everything & was available for me for weeks all the way up until our special day! Everyone had a great time and that was all I wanted. The next day one of my boys asked where was our special song he picked out for us to dance too! Then I realized his special song wasn't played, and a couple others weren't played for them either! But in his defense the night went by so quickly and there were so many to get into just those a few hours at my request and he did play a special song for all the kids to dance to with their moms! I think you did a fantastic job getting all my other requests in. I had a large extended family and we had a lot of special dances that night! It was great! And everyone went home happy and that's all that matters to me!! -
