Spiritual not religious ceremony - highly recommend!!
Marsha did our spiritual not religious ceremony. It was spectacular. She allowed us to select our own spiritual quotes. There is a lot of flexibility. Her ceremony flowed smoothly and we felt very comfortable with her. She did a great job. Highly recommend! -

Elopement in our backyard
My husband and I decided to elope within the week with little thought to any wedding preparations. To say that we were blessed to find that Marsha was available to officiate our wedding is an understatement. She was a joy to work with before, during and after the ceremony. She brought a lot of calmness to an otherwise nerve-racking day. She understood and anticipated what we did not know we needed. What would have been a semi-regular event became a unique, thoughtful, fun ceremony full of love and joy. We will cherish it always. -

The perfect wedding ceremony
My husband and I just got married on Saturday, and Marsha was the PERFECT officiant for our ceremony for numerous reasons. Well before the big day, we had a call with Marsha and she intently listened to our love story down to every detail. She was kind, invested, and extremely knowledgeable, guiding us every step of the way on what the ceremony would look like. She even offered up her services if we needed any coaching with our vows! On the day of the ceremony, we felt very comfortable knowing that we were in good hands. She is spiritual and has a great sense of humor. She also has an extremely calming presence, which is SO important for a couple about to profess they love to one another in front of a massive audience! Marsha is amazing at what she does, and she does it with grace, confidence, and love. I would recommend her to everyone! Thank you Marsha for making our big day so incredibly special! 🙏🏻 -

Amazing. Wouldn't have changed a thing
Marsha was amazing! You couldn't ask for a more sincere, more honest, passionate about what she does person to officiate your wedding. We are from Ohio and we wanted to have a beach ceremony. We decided on Point Dume and had multiple phone conversations with her. Marsha talked to us and gave us options about how the ceremony could go and made us very very comfortable. She gave us options and recommended a sand ceremony which we loved. She also recommended that we write our own vows and we are glad we did. We both felt like she took the time to get to know us. Highly recommend Marsha -

Marsha was fantastic!
Our guests couldn't stop talking about Marsha! We booked her because our planners had heard of her. She called us a couple times to organize the ceremony elements, but we had never actually met until the wedding. SHE was amazing! We wrote our story on how we met but the way she told it--wow! She really brought it to life. Thank you for everything Marsha! We really loved having you there. -

When you meet Marsha, you immediately feel like she sees and understands you with no judgement or scrutiny. Amazing Officiant
Marsha brought a presence of love, wisdom, and calm to our wedding ceremony. A week before our wedding, our venue cancelled on us, throwing everything into chaos, but after a few days of panic, the moment Marsha stepped into the room for our rehearsal we and our families all breathed a big sigh of relief. That was the moment we understood that we'd have an amazing wedding. She helped us create the unique ceremony we wanted by offering her expert opinions, but ultimately leaving the choices up to us. Honestly, that alone was in stark contrast to most wedding vendors, parents, basically anyone who was involved in our wedding. A lot of vendors have one way to do weddings, and make it difficult to do it any other way. Marsha was not like that at all. We got tons of compliments on our ceremony and our officiant. Highly recommend! -

Beautiful, Personal and Intimate ceremony
Marsha was meticulous in her preparation for our wedding ceremony. It was completely custom, as we wanted no reference to religion nor any spiritual language. Marsha delivered as promised. We are so thrilled that we chose Marsha to officiate our wedding. Her attention to detail and calming presence helped us both relax when we were nervous. She took the time to meet with us before the ceremony to get to know us both and to understand our vision for our ceremony. She spoke clearly so that all our guests could hear her and took her time with the vows so we wouldn't stumble. She also recommended we toast each other during the ceremony with our favorite scotch and so we did! She knew us so well!

Marsha curated the most beautiful ceremony for us and made everything so easy!
We found Marsha online and immediately contacted her to see if she was available to officiate our wedding. She quickly responded and told us she was available, and we scheduled a phone call to talk to her before we moved forward with booking her. After our short phone call, we knew she was perfect for our special day. We booked with her and she sent over readings, examples of ceremonies, etc. for us to look over to get ideas on what we'd like for our own ceremony.
About a month before our wedding, we touched base again and finalized the details to our ceremony. We decided on a reading, family acknowledgement, our story, and our own personal vows (which Marsha encouraged).
Our ceremony was so personal, sweet, and so us. She has the most calming and soothing voice, and curated such a beautiful, sentimental ceremony for us. Our family and friends said it was so beautiful; they laughed, they cried, and said it really showed our personalities.
I can't say enough good things about Marsha. She made the process so easy and even helped us mail our marriage license in, so that we don't need to worry about that part.
Highly recommend her for anyone's wedding ceremony! -

Amazing experience!
Marsha was an incredible officiant and made our day so special. From the moment we saw her on the internet, we knew she was the one to do our wedding. After meeting her we were even more convinced. She wrote a wedding just for us and it was so personal, everyone after the ceremony was telling us how unique the words were that were spoken. Magallanes wedding
Marsha was amazing!!! My new husband and I planned our wedding in just 60 days and so of course we had gotten all the planning finished but we had no one to marry us. I gave Marsha a call the day before our wedding and she took the time to speak with me and find out exactly what I wanted and she made it happen. She arrived before my event started, coordinated with the Dj and checked to see if there was anything I needed before we began. The ceremony was beautiful and we were so happy with how it turned out. Beautiful Ceremony Performed by Marsha
Marsha was so sweet and so easy to work with. We felt that she genuinely cared to provide a truly special ceremony for us. We had some technical difficulties with the microphone we provided for her, but she carried on seamlessly without it. We were unsure about any rituals we wanted, so she suggested doing a “Blessing of the Hands.” The ceremony was exactly what we asked for, and we are so happy we decided to work with her. -

The most beautiful, romantic ceremony with Marsha
Hiring Marsha was a no brainer. The moment we spoke with her on the phone, we knew she could give us the romantic ceremony we were looking for. We aren't highly religious so we wanted something that was sweet and customized just for us. Marsha incorporated beautiful poetry and a lovely hand fasting that was very modern and special to us. She also transitioned well when my godfather wanted to recite a few words. I had so many people tell us that was one of the best ceremonies they've seen. -

My husband and I could not find the right person that we knew personally to officiate our wedding, so we reached out to our wedding planner to hire an expert. We were a little nervous to be married by someone we didn't know. However, after speaking on the phone with Marsha for the first time, our nerves were instantly put at ease. Marsha is someone who, somehow, makes you feel like you have known her for years. She just has that affect on people. She has a warm, wise and welcoming demeanor, and she can convey this sentiment on the phone! This was only how we communicated until we finally met just about 30 minute before the ceremony! This was because my husband and I were coming from out of town. My husband and I were uncertain about parts of the ceremony and Marsha was super helpful with guiding us and providing us with different examples to complete our vision. She is open minded and listens very well. Marsha did an INCREDIBLE job helping us plan the perfect ceremony. She is a wonderful public speaker and she truly executed exactly the kind of wedding ceremony we dreamed of. I cannot recommend her enough!!! -

My husband and I were so lucky to have Marsha officiate our wedding on 9/8/18. We were looking for a simple yet meaningful, non-denominational ceremony. We first met with Marsha several weeks prior to the wedding and discussed various options for elements to include in our ceremony, in the 1-2 weeks right before the big day, she was always available via email and phone. Marsha guided us along the way and emphasized the importance of personal touches, including “our story.” We were so inspired that we wrote our own vows (something we were both apprehensive about initially). On the day, she arrived early and immediately put us at ease. Our guests said that she was “mesmerizing” and were in awe of her incredible speaking voice. The outcome was a truly beautiful and unique ceremony tailored to us!

We originally met Marsha when my father passed away, I used her again when my mother passed and then when my daughter announced that she was getting married I told her that we should give Marsha a call and see if she could fit us into her scheduled, luckily she was available the day my daughter tied the knot. Marsha walks though what she can do for you and helps you build a ceremony that is what you want, she does not come with a one size fits all ceremony. She listens to what you want and helps you put together that lasting memory. After talking to my daughter and getting an idea of how she wanted the ceremony to go Marsha builds a story around the participants so that everyone present gets to know their story and their life up to the moment of the ceremony. My family has know Marsha since 2015 but the stories she builds are typical of people that have know each other for decades. Marsha is able to make make everyone present feel like they are part of the family and I feel that Marsha is part of our family as well. I would recommend Marsha to anyone looking for an officiant. You will not be disappointed. -

Marsha is absolutely AMAZING! From the beginning of the entire process, she is so helpful and straightforward with what she offers. Although we did not begin to work on the elements of our wedding until about a month before the wedding, any questions I had, Marsha was there to answer them. Her voice is so calming and her presence brings such positive vibes. I first met Marsha as she was the officiant for both of my grandparent's funerals in late 2016 and early 2017 and although we first met under unfortunate circumstances, I am so happy that I have a happy memory with Marsha. Marsha was the officiant for our recent August ceremony in Palos Verdes Estates. She was an absolute delight to work with and we knew she'd be the perfect choice from the first meeting. At our initial consultation, she warmly welcomed us, explained the entire process, and provided some examples of different readings and packages she offers.
Marsha proofread and helped us perfect our vows, too. She also suggested a beautiful reading (in addition to what the groom and I had already prepared) that she thought would be a great fit for our ceremony--she was absolutely right and we loved it! Marsha is someone who really loves what she does and it shows.
The day of the wedding was perfect. She arrived on time, beautifully delivered kind words for the ceremony and made sure everything (including our sand ceremony) went just as discussed. We highly recommend her if you are looking for a highly qualified officiant who will go above and beyond!

I was living in Boston and returned with my fiance to Los Angeles to visit family for the holidays and have the civil wedding. In short... Marsha exceeded our expectations. From our first phone call to post nuptial wrap-up, Marsha was fantastic.
We wanted to work with someone who would be easy-going but respectful to the ceremony; not stuffy or a comedian. Marsha fit the bill and then some.
Marsha was on top of the things from the introduction phone call, to follow-up materials, to suggestions and edits, to follow-up calls, to being over an hour early, and to bringing the materials she promised.
Most importantly, Marsha shined during the ceremony (without taking the spotlight). Her presentation was as promised and more.

Where do I begin. I guess first this review is long overdue. Our day was made perfect because we chose Marsha to officiate our wedding this past October. I first met Marsha last summer who came to me as a referral. From our first meeting I knew I had found the person to make all my dreams of a beautiful day come true. Marsha takes the time to get to know who you are as a couple and what it is that she can do to ensure you have the perfect day. She also helps with several different suggestions in case you are unsure of how the ceremony should proceed. Marsha then follows up with you a couple times before the actual ceremony to ensure that both parties know what to expect and how the ceremony will run. She also helps with vow suggestions and asks for them to review. This helped me feel confident that everything was going to run smooth. The day of our wedding she met with us to ensure we felt good and knew how the ceremony would run. To this day people still ask me how I found her and how great the ceremony was. My now father in law still says how great she was and how when she spoke it was like an angel. Marsha made our day more than I could have ever asked for. It was such a beautiful service and because she took the time to get to know us when she spoke it was as if she had known us for many years. In fact, our guests thought she was a family friend. If you are looking for someone to officiate and make your wedding day perfect then call Marsha and meet with her. You won't be sorry and you will be so happy on your wedding day. Thank you Marsha for making our day the best ever.

My partner and I were blessed to have Marsha as our wedding officiant. This was one of the best choices I've ever made. We had a rather unusual request for our ceremony. The majority of guests thought they were coming to a party to celebrate our engagement, not knowing it was to be our wedding. Marcia immediately understood what was needed to make it all come together. She used our input to create a very personal ceremony filled with meaning, laughter and love. Her expertise was key to making the "reverse surprise party" plan come off without a hitch, and after, may of our friends and family members commented about how they felt the service was perfect for the two of us.

My husband and I were incredibly happy with the fun, sweet, and memorable ceremony Marsha helped us create for our wedding day. She guided our choices based on her years of experience and understanding of what we wanted (and didn't want) in our ceremony. Marsha is truly one of a kind. I received comments from over 75% of my guests on how amazing, soothing, and intriguing her words were conveyed to the audience. This was not my first experience with Marsha for a very important day of our lives, and she went even further than any expectations that we had for our day. Her pre and post event work with us was also stellar! She is truly the most exceptional speaker that I have ever had the pleasure of working with and I do this for a living as I am a meeting/event planner. -

Marsha was a pleasure to work with and made our ceremony the memorable event that will truly last a lifetime. She personalized our ceremony to make it exactly what we wanted and was extremely flexible with dates, last minute changes and a downpour at our outdoor event. Marsha Mendizza was amazing to work with! Every time I needed her during planning she was right there, and during the wedding she was wonderful. Her presentation was both beautiful and sincere. She made my wedding all the more special, and you should definitely request her if you are looking for someone who takes your wedding as seriously and with as much positivity as possible! If you are nervous, Marsha will be there to calm you down. If you have a special request, she will be there. If anything is needed, she will be there. -

Marsha is amazing, she is incredibly professional but also warm, and charming, after sitting down and talking with her she knew exactly what we wanted, we gave her carte blanche on writing our ceremony for us.
The ceremony that Marsha created for us was truly one of a kind, It was clear she puts her heart in each beautiful ceremony she does, as she said her last words in our ceremony , I couldn't help thinking how she knew EXACTLY what both my husband and I wanted, we were in awe as were our guests! All of our guests commented how Beautiful our ceremony was.

Rev. Marsha is the best! We absolutely cherish how romantic and rich and perfect our ceremony was to us--and everyone else keeps telling us so! She really helped guide us--and we needed it because we had never done this (gotten married) before! She really seemed to get us, and had great suggestions based on lots of experience, but encouraged us to make our ceremony very personal and special to us as a couple. She is very professional, but also filled with spunk & warmth! She is very passionate about what she does, and values officiating your ceremony in a way that is palpable, you can really feel that she wants to be there! Marsha was a wonderful officiant who made our ceremony very special and it will be something that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Having sat through some uncomfortable wedding ceremonies in the past we wanted something fast and simple. Marsha delivered that but made it very personal and very touching. She provides just enough guidance to be helpful without being overbearing, which is great when you're creating your own wedding ceremony. And she is a nice lady to boot. We recommend her highly. -

Look No More, This Gal is your lady for the job. So respectful and so professional. I wouldn't choose anyone else. Marsha did my Mom's Memorial Service a few years back and I figured I would give her a shout for my Wedding. Of Course she gladly said yes and provided a great Ceremony for me and my Now Husband. We decided to get married! I wanted someone who was REAL. Someone who would listen to our story and be able to put together a ceremony about us. Not the standard textbook wedding but a wedding with meaning, love, and style. Marsha is all that plus more! I telephoned several officiants and had the telephone conversation; I was becoming desperate. When I answered the phone call from Marsha she said, “This is Marsha ". The moment I heard her voice, I knew she was the one! It was as if she was a long lost friend who had come back from a long voyage. One week before the "big day", our officiant canceled, which was one of those cliche wedding catastrophes that is usually only funny years later in retrospect. However, I can honestly say I feel lucky to have had our original officiant cancel because we otherwise would not have found Marsha.
From the very first conversation we had, to the "getting to know each other" conference calls, to the wedding ceremony itself, it was an absolute pleasure working with Marsha. Despite having only ONE week to work with Marsha, my husband and I both felt that the ceremony she created was perfectly "us". The tone was perfect: romantic and sweet, but not corny and not too serious - just what we had asked for. The feedback we received from friends and family was overwhelmingly positive, as well. I know thanks to several independent sources, that my dad had to wipe a couple tears from his eyes. He and my mom told my husband and I several times what a fabulous job Marsha did, and we couldn't agree more.
I highly recommend Marsha Mendizza for anyone looking for a customized, personalized, beautiful ceremony. She even has a video of herself speaking on her website so you can get a sense of her delivery (so, so helpful when selecting an officiant). Thank you Marsha!! -

I consider myself very lucky. I went to my friend's wedding in January that was performed by Marsha. I was moved, touched, and totally blown-away by the moment she created with a beautiful ceremony. So I called her immediately to do mine!
We felt a great connection to her right off the bat and knew that we made the right decision choosing her. Marsha took all the stress off of us as she helped create the perfect ceremony!
I didn't think it was possible to walk down the aisle so relaxed knowing that our ceremony, which was the absolute high point of our whole day, was a dream come true!
Our ceremony was truly US.
