Batya was so great to work with and the ketubah she made us was beautiful. We worked together to come up with a design that fit both our budget and our vision. She was very helpful and responsive, and we cannot wait to display our beautiful ketubah at our wedding!

We looked at all of the standard ketubot out there, and none of them felt right. We were initially hesitant about getting a custom ketubah due to the price, but we fell in love with the images from Batya's website, and couldn't stop thinking about how special it would be to have something that was truly us made to honor our commitment. We reached out to Batya, and she was so helpful and so prompt. Then we met with her in person, and she spent time helping us figure out what we wanted, and we walked away smiling at what we'd come up with (with a ton of her help!). When we saw our sketches and then ultimately our finished ketubah, we were so happy and thankful we'd decided to go with Art by Batya! We now have the most beautiful, special, "us", meaningful ketubah to look at every day and remember our commitment. It's such a nice gift to ourselves that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Batya!! You are the best.

We had a wonderful experience with Batya, creating our wedding Ketuba.
She is very personable and creates a warm, inviting environment.
We came to her with our own design in mind, she was very welcoming and excited to work with us on our vision.
She created several trials before completing the final artwork. We couldn't of been happier with the outcome, she made our vision come true!

I cannot say enough about Batya's talent, and her ability to manifest an abstract vision perfectly. We had some very strange requests for a Ketubah and she was able to put them together beautifully. She was responsive, communicated well and very punctual. I could not recommend her more.

Batya did an exceptional job creating a custom ketubah for us. We wanted her to capture our love for the outdoors and the beach and she was able to translate our vision beautifully. If you are looking for a ketubah that is personal to you, I highly recommend her work. As an side- she was also able to complete this for us with only 2-month notice.

Art by Batya is a classic example of the old expression "you get what you pay for." Sure, we could have chosen any old Ketubah off the rack, but considering what this document signifies, we wanted something we could proudly display in our home as a work of art, an enduring symbol, and a constant reminder of the significance of marriage. Batya conducted business like a professional while maintaining an enthusiastic approachability that made her a pleasure to work with. We discussed certain details we wanted to include, and Batya did the rest. We were given multiple opportunities to see rough drafts and give feedback until the finished product was even better than we ever could have anticipated. Thankfully, this is a once-in-a-lifetime document, so while WE will never be utilizing her again, we want ALL of our friends, family, and the entire EventWire community to allow Batya to eternalize their special day!!

When my husband and I talk about the best people we worked with for our wedding, Batya is at the top of the list. At our first meeting Batya patiently listened to us share our ideas and was very receptive. Neither my husband or I are very artistic people, so we were blown away when Batya showed us her first proposals for our ketubah; it was incredible how she was able to bring our ideas to life. She guided us through the process, checked in when she had a question about our Rabbi's ketubah text, and had our ketubah completed well before our wedding date. She produced a beautiful piece of artwork we have ever owned and everyone at our wedding commented on her work. We are so happy we worked with her.

Batya was so wonderful. She made a Ketubah uniquely customized to what we wanted. It's absolutely beautiful. She was very responsive and helped us through the whole process. Batya was referred to us by a friend and we could not be more thrilled that we met her and chose her to do our Ketubah. She spent the time to sit with us and review what we wanted, and was patient with us as we discussed ideas. She was extremely helpful in adding creative value and ideas to our ketubah. In many cases we knew we wanted to personalize the ketubah in a certain way but didn't know how to do so, and Batya was forthcoming was suggestions and advice. During the entire design process, she kept us in the loop, sent us sketches along the way, and answered all of our questions. The final product is flawless and is currently hanging in our living room. We receive countless compliments from anyone that visits. We are so happy with our customized, beautiful ketubah!

Not only is Batya extremely talented and creative, but she is also helpful, professional, and accommodating. She takes the time and care to sit with her clients and brainstorm about what they would like to create. Neither my husband nor I are very creative, but Batya offered her ideas and opinions to help design a gorgeous and unique custom Ketubah that really captured our relationship, while also listening to our ideas. She was sure to send us her sketches throughout the entire process to ensure the final result was absolutley perfect. I am SO glad we got our Ketubah from Batya! In creating a custom made Ketubah, Batya was very helpful and easy to work with. The process that she has the client go through to create the Ketubah runs very smoothly. All of our communication was done via e-mail, she is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Most importantly, her artwork is beautiful. She is extremely talented and helps couples custom design their Ketubah based on symbols, images, styles of art, and quotes that are meaningful to them.

Batya designed our Ketubah to our exact specifications and we could not have been happier with the result! We found a design from online which we loved, sent it to Batya and she crafted a beautiful papercut Ketubah with the exact images and themes we wanted, and also offered her own suggestions in her initial designs which we loved as well. She worked painstakingly to ensure that our Ketubah was exactly what we were looking for down to the most minute detail. My father is a calligrapher so he wrote the text, but when we discovered that he had made a few small mistakes, Batya was happy to correct them at no extra cost and did such a great job that there is no indication that the writing was altered from the work of the original scribe. I would recommend her strongly to anyone looking for a custom-made Ketubah, thank you Batya!

Our experience working with Batya was so positive, right from the beginning. My husband and I knew that we wanted a custom ketubah for our wedding and were thrilled when we found a local artist who was able to make this a reality for us. From our first interaction, Batya was attentive to what our vision was and helped us work through our ideas to come up with a design that we loved. She was extremely flexible and made time to meet with us in person on several occasions throughout the process. Batya did an amazing job on our custom ketubah! If you tell her how much you are willing to spend, she gives you options of what she can make you for that price. We liked this because it ensured that we stayed in our budget. Her products are beautiful and she is excellent at communicating to make sure you will be perfectly satisfied with your final product. My husband and I had seen one of Batya's beautiful ketubot at a friend's wedding and decided to have her design our own ketubah. We emailed her a picture of the place where we got engaged in Jerusalem and then met with her so she could learn about us and our interests, in order to make the ketubah as personal as possible. She provided us with several sketches and we chose pieces from each sketch for our final design. She was so enthusiastic throughout the entire process and constantly kept us updated on her progress. Her calligraphy was also outstanding. The ketubah is so so special to us and and is such a wonderful and beautiful addition to our new home.

Working with Batya on our custom Ketubah was one of the best parts of wedding planning! She started us off with some questions about our needs and our style, and throughout the process we were able to check in and make sure that the final product would best suit our personality as a couple. She took everything into account from the general feel to the tiniest detail. The final product was absolutely stunning, all of our wedding guests were talking about it! It's not cheap to have a custom ketubah made, but it is priceless to have a unique ketubah made just for you, and was money well spent for something that we'll have for the rest of our lives!

I would highly recommend Batya and her work. My husband and I started with a pretty lucid concept that Batya perfected into a beautiful piece of art. Batya was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the ketubah that she made us is incredible! She worked very closely with us to help create exactly what we wanted (even though when we first met with her we had no idea what that was). Throughout the process she was professional, flexible and kept us informed so that we wouldn't have to worry about any delays before the wedding date. And most of all, she is a talented artist who works quickly and was willing to draw out numerous sketches beforehand so that we could see and make changes to the final product. While it may have been cheaper to go with a more generic ketubah, you get what you pay for- and with Batya that's a beautiful art piece that will be cherished in our home for years to come.

She provided us so many illustrations and samples before we began the actual ketubbah, and was very open to changing big and small details along the way to make the ketubbah great.
