    Rich was awesome! He took videos of all three of the main dances; first dance, dad and bride, and mom and groom! He took videos during other dances and sent them to me the next day. Rich was very easy to work with and made sure that we got what we wanted to make our day special.

    Rich was fantastic and the life of our party! He kept the dance floor fun and made our room gorgeous with the uplighting. So happy we chose him as our dj and would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! Thanks again, rich! You rock!

    Rich was our Dj this past weekend for our wedding and all I can say is WOW! Rich was so accommodating, professional, understanding and definitely knew what he was doing. Mike and I met with him before the wedding and he helped us plan out the reception and kept everything on track for us time wise on or wedding night. Not only was Rich awesome to work with but our guests loved him too, he was enthusiastic, humorous, and connected with our guests on the dance floor all night! I would highly recommend Rich for any event you are looking to have! We couldn't be happier!

    Rich was absolutely amazing from start to finish!!! He was so easy to get in contact with and he would walk me thru the flow of the day step by step. He made the entire day flow very smoothly! Rich was a great experienced DJ that new how to engage all guest young and old! Cant go wrong with him!!

    I recently worked with Custom Djs and had a wonderful experience - not sure what the review above is talking about! Rich was accommodating, professional, and extremely friendly every time we spoke with him. His company was quick to reply and asked all the right questions. We provided them with an "A" and "B" list as well as a "Do Not Play" List and he did such a great job playing our songs and mixing in other GREAT music!! Our guests were on the dancefloor the ENTIRE night, which I think is a sign of a good DJ! They were also great to work with when it came to our special requests. We had a few family members sing & play instruments for our first dance and Custom DJs was happy to let us use their equipment. They arrived early to set up and my family was able to practice and do a sound check before the cocktail hour started, which was helpful for their performance! During the cocktail hour & dinner, they provided music that was light, classic, and perfect for our outdoor reception feel. Everyone was super impressed by the variety of music and energy they provided. Our reception even allowed us to stay past 12 (our technical reception end time) and Custom Djs was more than happy to keep playing music to keep our guests on the dance floor. I would HIGHY recommend using this company for your wedding if you want your guests to have fun. It has been 2 weeks since our wedding and I have had numerous people rave about the music & DJ at our big night! Thank you to Custom DJs for helping to make our wedding the best dance party yet!

    A few years ago, my cousin Megan chose Custom DJs for her wedding. I was a bridesmaid for her wedding and loved the music he played! Planning my wedding of course, I had to have Custom DJs play the music for mine! Rich is AWESOME! He is very personable! When we arrived at our venue an hour and half before the reception started, Rich was already there setting up and doing tests! They are very accommodating! Since we lived two hours away from him and my husband and I's schedule is extremely chaotic and on top of that we have a two year old son, we did not have to meet in person with him! I knew I did not have too because I already heard him live and he is awesome! We were able to sign contracts through the mail and make our playlist through they're online database! I LOVE the online database to choose your music! All the music I did not want played he did not play, and all my must plays were played! All the other songs he selected to fill in time were fabulous! A lot of them I did not think of and I am so glad he did! If I could redo my wedding again, I would definitely select Custom DJs! After my wedding, everyone came up to me and said how awesome our DJ is and asked for his name and company! If that doesn't say something, I don't know what does! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

    Rich is AWESOME! He played at our wedding this past weekend - he was super easy to work with and took complete control of our reception, making sure everything was done on the timeline we discussed. He played a great mix of music that got all age groups out on the dance floor until the lights came on at the end of the night! He actually continued a few songs even after all the lights were on and the reception was over, just because everyone was still in total dance mode! Very cool and great way to end our evening! He is a very friendly and personable guy to work with and he worked around our busy schedules. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again if we ever needed a DJ for another event! He has a very fun personality that you will get along with great! His price was also very reasonable. 5 stars from us newlyweds :)

    Rich at Custom DJs did an excellent job at our wedding. He was always available via email to correspond about planning, and his execution was great. He played most of the songs we wanted to hear, and he kept the dance floor full.

    Rich was very personable, and did a nice job of MC-ing our evening. Thanks Rich!

    We chose to use Custom DJ's for our New Years Eve wedding. In simple terms, the owners daughter is our very good friend and agreed to DJ our wedding for us. We were so very excited to have a friend who knew us and our taste well enough to provide the music for our reception party. She was simple to work with, I hardly had to do any work with her since she knew us and the music she played at the reception was perfect. She did everything we asked for and more - and even kept us exactly one schedule without sounding commanding and "bossy" like some DJ's can. She was wonderful & I would recommend this DJ service to anyone!

    Rich was very friendly guy, we had a few meetings with him before hand. He has a great personality the kind of guy you feel like you've known him forever!!

    We used Custom DJs for our reception at Ruffled Feathers Golf Club. Rich did a wonderful job! We met with him two times prior to the wedding and he knew the venue very well and gave great suggestions. He played the songs that we requested and followed through on his promise to keep the dance floor full all night long. I would highly recommend their services!

    If you want to have a dance floor filled with people dancing at your wedding, you need to hire Rich the owner of Custom DJ's in Orland Park. For the value of his product and how he got people out there on the dance floor filled the room all night. People of all ages joined together and had a blast. Every song played our guests were out there dancing it up. We were looking for value but a great DJ who understood what we needed and we didn't want the fancy stuff, but he has it. Just great music and a great attitude! We wish all the best to Rich!

    Rich was really great to work with. He was quick to respond, always ready to meet up to discuss timelines or other plans. The price was great and included uplighting which really helped make our reception ballroom look amazing. Rich has a great personality which really comes through during the introductions - he is a great master of ceremonies. While I had put together a list of suggested songs, I told Rich my main concern was that the dance floor was packed all night. He did a great job of mixing oldies and new songs, slow and fast and really kept everyone out on the dance floor all night. Several family members said it took them a few days to recover after our wedding! The only thing that I was a little disappointed in was the quality of the music - I was surprised to learn that Rich was still using CDs. Several of the discs were scratched and skipped. I spoke to him after our reception and he was apologetic. He said he planned to move to digital. I would recommend Rich because he really helped keep the night on schedule and was a great MC, but I would suggest confirming he has moved to digital.

    We hired Rich eight months before our wedding after receiving his name as a recommendation from our venue. We had an in person interview with Rich and he went through the process of telling us how everything would run and be setup. He was a nice guy, we liked what he had to say so we offered him the job to which he said he was available and accepted. All is well.

    Fast forward to the month of our wedding. My wife contacted Rich (whom we had not heard from) about sending payment and submitting our song list. Rich then told her that he wanted to meet so we could go through some final things a few days before the wedding. Five days before our wedding (FIVE DAYS!) we received a text (TEXT!) from Rich saying 'Katie will be your DJ'. I immediately called and told him that this was unacceptable. We had spoken with multiple DJs and chose HIM to do our wedding. Rich then got chesty with me saying, 'Read your contract. I can send any DJ from my company.' Our check was already cashed and there was a no refund policy so, despite being livid with the situation, we had to let a complete stranger with whom we had never spoken with DJ our wedding. The DJ turned out to be his daughter, Katie. Five days until wedding...

    We met with Katie and she was apologetic for her father saying that this had been sprung on her last minute as well. This leads me to believe Rich forgot about booking with us or took more money for another event. After speaking with Katie about the wedding, we feel slightly better about the situation.

    Day of the wedding. Katie showed up 1.5 hours late, couldn't figure out the installation of the equipment, and did not set up in time. We contracted the DJ to play during cocktail hour but instead we listened to the radio. We also had to lend our phones in order to hear a number of our 'must play' list.

    Unprofessional and devious. Avoid.
