Blake and the team at Curry Events were incredible to work with. They were very detailed in the prep phases, which set us at ease knowing we would be well taken care of. On the wedding day, they overcame challenges and obstacles brought forward by our venue staff and kept our wedding day on track.
Throughout the entire experience, we felt like the team at Curry Events was fighting to make sure our vision was realized and our day went perfectly, more than any other vendor we hired.
Blake was an incredible MC/DJ, keeping the dance floor packed all night! He really cared about our music taste being showcased and mixed in the uncommon music we asked for amazingly. The crowd loved it, and multiple guests commented that it was the best wedding DJ and dance floor experience they had ever had!
Jocelyn and Mike on photos were so friendly and gave great directions. Their passion for getting the right shots but also keeping things fun and natural really worked, and the photos speak for themselves.
Josh and Jonna on video were engaged and made us feel so at ease throughout the day. Jonna may have even talked me off a ledge a few times throughout the day when I was getting worried about the timeline :).
The whole team just felt like an extension of our friends, sharing our day, helping make things move as they should.
If you are looking for a total package for entertainment and photo/video at your wedding, I wholeheartedly recommend this team and company. And to top it all off, their package pricing was great as well! -

DJ Georgie did a fantastic job at our wedding and reception. He maintained communication with us and helped us plan the songs that we wanted to most (and least) hear at the reception. He was able to integrate disparate music such as 90s country and celtic music into the entire event smoothly. He also inluded a variety of music that would also get people out on the dance floor that we may not have specifically thought of. He was also very receptive to changes to the event that weren't planned: we were able to give him a nod to indicate when we were done dancing to a particular song even before it was specifically done. The transitions between songs were artfully done. We would definitely recommend him for any event requiring a DJ. We just hope we can find another event that might require his services. -

We were adamant that our wedding day would represent both of our cultures and finding a DJ that could present in both English and Spanish for our guests was a top priority. Finding a vendor that could do this felt a little like trying to find a needle in a haystack in New Hampshire, so when we came upon DJ Georgie and Curry Events it felt like we hit the jackpot. Working with Curry Events was easy, they were very responsive from the first inquiry to the day of the event and everything in between. Owners Blake and Joceyln are extremely organized and the documentation for our ceremony and reception needs was easy to complete and helpful in guiding us to make sure all the decisions about details we hadn’t thought about were made.
DJ Georgie was awesome, he definitely helped make everyone feel included by being able to announce and communicate with our guests in both English and Español. He played all the songs we requested and did a fabulous job of mixing your typical New England/American style wedding songs with Latin favorites. Our guests were dancing from the start of open dance right to the end of the night and had a great time. We absolutely loved the last dance and DJ Georgie calling our guests to form a circle around us was a delightful surprise. Curry Events and DJ Georgie helped to make our wedding day not only one to remember, but also brought our vision for blending cultures to life! -

We would like to say thank you so much for both DJ Blake and DJ Reck. Blake was awesome from the very beginning. We expressed our concern due to the small amount of guests (we only had about 50 guests) and they were a mix of older and young generations. He explained perfectly how they will play the songs that will be a mix between the two generations and how the transition will happened smoothly. DJ Reck delivered all the promises. He is the best DJ ever and we are so grateful that he could be part of our wedding. He was so professional and reassured us throughout our day on how our wedding was so magical. The dance floor was packed the entire night. He even stayed 30 mins longer because everyone had so much fun!! We highly recommend both DJs for all the future couples! -

DJ Don Davis saved my wedding
DJ Don was our saving grace. We chose him from the Curry Events lineup and he was the best thing we could have done for our wedding. Can't thank him enough for his positive energy and great skills! -

DJ Reck was the best DJ I have heard in New England. All weddings attended. All dance parties. All dive bars. He outshined any experience here yet. I got so many compliments. He read the room and played according to my guests. He was so kind to me and my groom. We had several chats with him about our wishes and he was so friendly and responsive. On top of which he played all of my favorites and requests. He topped off our night! It was like having a good friend play at our wedding. He was so impressive. He made our day a success. Would bever re-do this day without him. -

If I could rate 100 stars I would. Securing a DJ/ photographers was one of the first things that my husband and I did after our venue search was done. Blake the founder reached out to us promptly after our inquiry. He spent a while on the phone with us explaining the process. He made it so easy!! After the call, we knew that’s who we were going to work with, and didn’t look any further. During our call, he let us know that he also offered photography services. we decided to utilize their photography services and had the pleasure of working with Brian and Jocelyn. My husband and I did a wedding package that included an engagement photo shoot, wedding day photography services, as well as DJ services. Curry events offers at all. Lighting, photo, booths, etc.
I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Curry events. DJ Blake, John (DJ Reck), Brian, and Jocelyn, were phenomenal. They honestly feel like family. They helped guide us through the complicated waters of wedding planning. Blake was fantastic to work with, and always made sure to be honest with me if he didn’t think something wouldn’t work etc. You can tell that he is passionate about what he does, and has an extensive knowledge of his field. He was always available to chat via text, email or phone if I had a quick question. The whole process was very organized. Everything was put together on a Google document. One with the music details and another for the photography details
Blake and DJ Reck were awesome. They executed our playlist and also put their own spin on things based on the vibe of the night. You can tell that they are extremely passionate and excited about what they do. They were so kind to my guests and were really fun to be around. They executed the music for our ceremony to perfection. They played awesome music all night and had our guests dancing. They have a wireless microphone and helped to organize the night with introductions, speeches, and music. They made it, so we did not have to worry about any of that stuff on the big day. Everything went off without a single issue. Blake also coordinated with the other vendors at the venue and he always went the extra mile to make it perfect.
Photography- Our engagement photo shoot with some thing we were not planning on doing but decided to. I can’t tell you how grateful we are to have those photos. Brian and Jocelyn made us feel extremely comfortable. They sent us a variety of potential places we could go to do our photos, and we have the option of choosing our own particular place. Brian and Jocelyn are extremely personable and have a calming demeanor about them. They approach everything in a very non-judge mental way, and are happy to provide guidance. My husband and I are not the most photogenic people, but they made us feel great and comfortable. We loved our engagement photos so much they are everywhere in our home and families homes. It was an extremely memorable experience. Brian and Jocelyn were are absolutely amazing on the big day. They made sure we had a good time with our guests and made sure our first look was everything We wanted it to be!! You can tell they are both extremely passionate about photography and love what they do. They came with their own creative ideas which was really fun. They even helped with things that they probably typically don’t do like fixing my dress or holdings things for me, etc. They were so kind to my guests! My guests were talking about how fantastic they were.
I could go on and on about how amazing everything went. I would definitely encourage anyone looking to use Curry events for photography services to do an engagement shoot with them. It was really great to already know our photographers on our wedding day. We were more comfortable with them because we had worked with them in the past. I have not one complaint and I’m so appreciative to have them there on one of the biggest days of our lives. They put us at ease and their confidence in what they do really shines.
I also want to tell future brides and grooms to allow your vendors to have creative freedom. We provided our likes and dislikes, but overall really wanted our vendors to not feel smothered by a lot of expectations. I have to say our end result was perfection. -

Curry Events was the best choice I made for my wedding. They shot excellent photos and put together a really helpful timeline for me which allowed me to enjoy my guests while also getting a ton of beautiful memories on Photo. Brian and Jocelyn were very helpful and I always recommend them to everyone I know who is getting married. -

We hired DJ Don Davis for our wedding on 9/4/21 at the Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis. This guy is truly one of the best! We had to have been the most difficult couple to deal with because music was truly the hardest thing to plan in a wedding. We legitimately gave him our first dance song the morning of and kept changing our mind on everything else. Music is single handedly the hardest thing to do for the wedding. I truly believe if we just said "do whatever you want", DJ Don would have done a rockstar job!! He was extremely interactive, on the ball with everything, and had impeccable taste in music that pleased everyone. Most of the feedback we've gotten about the wedding was how awesome of a job he did. Even the other vendors had reached out to us to let us know how much of a delight he was to work with!! You would truly be missing out on an amazing time if you didn't hire him! -

We booked Curry Events after research & phone calls, unable to meet in person as we were wedding planning during the pandemic shut down. We initially spoke with Blake, who spoke highly of DJ Reck/John. Our relationship with John was built through email, text, and phone calls (not meeting him until our actual wedding day). John’s organization and ease in conversation filled us with such confidence. We had a semi-untraditional entrance song and John nailed it for us. Our wedding venue also went through some changes very close before our wedding date (think: not having a coordinator) and John was ready (and did) step in to ensure we didn’t miss out on anything. His music literally had us dancing all night (and we aren’t big dancers!). Our guests had nothing but rave reviews for the music (we are still hearing it two months later!)--we even saw friends we NEVER see on the dance floor moving! He made sure we had everything we needed before we started and even checked in with us after the wedding. His sincerity and commitment to his work are clear to see and we couldn’t recommend him more. -

We are so impressed with Curry Event Services. They truly went above and beyond to make our day go off without a hitch. The attention to detail, responsiveness and performance were all top notch. DJ Blake was great at setting everything up for success and DJ Georgie did an amazing job the day of the wedding. The Photo Booth was a hit!!! They've got a one of a kind team at Curry Events and I'd recommend them to anyone getting married or having an important event that requires entertainment! -

There are not enough stars in the world for Blake and his team at Curry Event Services! They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we imagined. We got many compliments from guests about how fantastic the music/DJ was. Blake was wonderful to work with behind the scenes as well, always available for a check-in and a laugh as we worked together to plan the event. As a same-sex couple, we were anxious about hiring someone who would not be willing to tweak their usual script or go a bit off book for our wedding, and that was NEVER an issue with Blake and his team; we never, not even for one second, felt like we were different from his other couples. We cannot recommend him highly enough. Hire Blake and his team -- you will NOT regret it. -

We went with Curry Event Services for their Photo + DJ Package and we were absolutely thrilled with the results. They included 2 Photographers + a DJ and MC and all 4 of their team members were in sync with our needs and requests throughout the entire process. DJ Blake and his team kept us dancing, laughing and singing all night. Brian, our photographer, was a kind, delicate and extremely talented photographer who treated us and our guests like gold. We had such an amazing time at our wedding with DJ Blake and DJ Georgie and Scott at the photobooth! We used Blake's services for uplighting, DJ/MC for ceremony/cocktail hour/reception, and photobooth. The lighting was AMAZING, it made our event room pop and it matched all of our other colors perfectly (we used light blue, it was seriously amazing). We had guests that were dancing before dinner even came out, and they didn't stop until my husband and I had to walk off the dance floor to make the crowd follow us after the last song played. We heard so many compliments the entire night about how the music was amazing, and how great and attentive DJ Blake and his team were. Our photobooth was busy all night, and we received an amazing album with all of our friends and family photos and messages, which was super sweet and awesome! I would highly recommend hiring DJ Blake or anyone on his team for your event, we had such an amazing time! Thank you again to Blake, Georgie and Scott for killing it! -

DJ Blake and team DJ’ed our wedding July 13 2019 and they went absolutely above and beyond. From helping us choose meaningful songs to keeping the dance floor packed all night, the team was exceptional. Handful of people told us it was the best music choices at a wedding they ever heard. From parents to kids, our dance floor was ALWAYS packed. They truly care about small details and listen to any small request. Great Job team, and thanks for all the great memories!! -

Amazing performance
From start to finish Curry Events helped us plan every facet of our wedding. Although we hired them for DJ and Photo Booth, Blake played a huge roll in helping us find the right feel for the big day in many ways.
He was responsive and available for any requests we had or any questions we had, and I can't thank him enough for going above and beyond. We had a wide variety of music we wanted played and he did an outstanding job switching it up from style to style so that my entire family could enjoy and participate! People were even dancing during cocktail hour! The photo Booth was a hit also !!!
I am so glad we went with DJ Blake and Curry Events. -

In a moment of fate, we had Curry Events at a corporate outing and they were awesome. Very interactive and capable of playing a wide variety of music. I took a business card and asked for DJ Blake to work with us for my niece's wedding and I am so happy I did. DJ Blake and his team were amazing. Hooked us up with DJ - lighting and photo booth services that were impeccable!!
Super impressed with DJ Blake's ability to control a crowd and move from one style to the next! My niece and her friends danced all night and there was plenty of music for the old folks like me!
