    We only rented the black satin tablecloths and black chairs but Im so glad we did. Everyone commented on how romantic the reception looked.

    We rented white wedding chairs and white podiums for our in suite wedding reception from them and were incredibly happy with the service. They were delivered on time, great quality, and they were flexible in working with us. Thank you so very much!!

    Current Events ROCKS! Jason and Susan were absolutely awesome... from being accommodating to our changes in colors and chairs, to the delivery and pickup and everything in between! What a solid operation they have that made us feel comfortable, valued and EXCITED about hosting our wedding reception and doing it all ourselves!!! By the way... the disco ball was the hit of the dance floor! Our guests were so impressed with everything...and of course, so were we!!! Thank you, Current Events! We will certainly call on you again for our next party!

    We ordered three high top cocktail tables, 10 folding chairs, and a trash can. Delivery was on time, and the items were nice and met our needs. Pickup is where everything went wrong. We had contracted for pickup to occur between 9-10 a.m. on Sunday and paid a significant amount extra for an "after hours" pickup. We had to be checked out from our hotel by 11 a.m. By 10:15 a.m., they had not arrived nor made any communication with us that they would be late. I called their office and the emergency after-hours line listed on the contract several times and left messages without a response. I asked the hotel guest services what to do with the items, and they said that housekeeping would remove them and send them to lost and found. I called Current Events at 11 to let them know this and tell them that we would expect reimbursement for any charges incurred for the extra housekeeping work.

    About three hours later, someone from Current Events called me back and said the delivery driver lost track of time while working another event that morning. They said that they would retrieve the items from lost and found and not charge us anything extra. They also said they would reimburse us for any extra charges from MB housekeeping. However, I felt they could have been more apologetic and try harder to recover our service because I was very stressed out about incurring these extra charges or being held liable if something happened to the rental items. I was absolutely livid. Given the insane amount of money we paid for the "after-hours" delivery, I feel like they could have done more. I would not recommend using this vendor.
