If you're looking for the perfect photographer look no further! From the first time I contacted Kris to see if she was available for our wedding she has been absolutely wonderful! She took the best engagement and wedding photos I've ever seen! She made sure we got every picture we could think of that we wanted. She helped my 10 year old niece get her nails on and because my niece wasn't in the wedding party she had her help hold the lighting to make her feel as important as everyone else. I had wedding day jitters and she was helping me calm down, she made sure I ate and stayed hydrated. She even made sure I had my something blue and offered a blue ring, as my something blue was hidden. We had mishaps with the food, Kris went right to the kitchen and helped my sisters get the food made and served to our guest. She had us sneak away for sunset pictures and they turned out absolutely beautiful. She made sure we got pictures with nearly every single one of our guest. She surpassed our expectations of what a photographer does and I'm so grateful she was available to be there and capture our most important day.

Miss kris is amazing!! I originally booked with her before covid 19 started and since had to change my date about 10 times and my venue about 5. Miss kris was so wonderful through the whole process. She went out of her way to make sure she was there to photograph my wedding. Even in the middle of a meltdown about to give up she was there telling me to breath, it would all be ok and my day would be beautiful. She was right 🥰. My photos were beautiful and my experience with her was nothing less then perfect. She was so patient and kind with my whole bridal party including 6 crabby kids that did not want to cooperate lol. She had a smile on her face the entire time, made the experience fun and captured the romance at the same time. Miss kris exceeded my expectations and even buttoned my entire dress when no one else could. (Mind you my dress had buttons from top to bottom down the back). She sent me sneak peak photos before i went to sleep that night and i had all of my photos within 3 weeks!! I hope every bride has the experience i had with miss kris. She is a genuine sweetheart and really shows her passion for photography in all of her work.

Kris did such an amazing job for our wedding! She was super responsive and we had our pictures within a week of the wedding. It rained for our special day, but Kris totally saved the day by having clear umbrellas with her. I would HIGHLY recommend her. You won’t regret it.

I met Kris at a bridal expo about two and a half years before my wedding. Right away we just clicked and I knew I wanted her to be my photographer. She is relatable and so easy to work with. She has great ideas and is willing to do whatever she can to make her clients happy. She made my wedding day so spectacular. She is more than just your photographer, she even helped sew my dress when part of it broke! She literally thinks of everything and her experience really shows. AMAZING. Wonderful photographer and great person.
Our original photographer (who was not this one) "lost" pictures from our wedding back in October 2018. After finally deciding what we wanted to do, we chose to "re-do" our wedding photos. A HUGE and appreciative THANK YOU to Photos by Miss Kris, Kris Mellinger. She was so kind to offer it for no charge on my disheartening post/review of our original wedding photographer who lost our photos from our wedding. So I messaged Kris about our photo situation and without any hesitation, she said YES. And our "new and improved" pictures look AMAZING (seriously, look at them!). Of course we paid her though, it takes a lot of time and effort to take the pictures, edit, and upload, etc. Plus, she was doing us a HUGE favor by taking the time out of her Sunday, amongst all of her other various projects, to take our pictures so that we would actually have family and husband and wife photos. She even went as far as driving to David's parents' HOUSE 20 mins away to take pictures in front of his truck and in a canoe (long story short, we couldn't get the canoe to the lake). But she drove 20 mins after already taking a bunch of pictures for us.
Now my husband and I actually have decent photos together in our wedding attire. We ACTUALLY have photos with us and our immediate families. It may not be the same as the original wedding day. But all of the love was still there. Kris "re-doing" our wedding photos meant a lot to us, and she did more than a fantastic job!!! I can't stop looking at them and really wish we had found her for our wedding instead of the horrible photographer who screwed us and lost our pictures. Thank you Kris!!!!!! :)

From the moment I booked my engagement/wedding package, Kris was wonderful! She made me feel very comfortable and we had a blast during both our engagement and wedding photo sessions.
Kris was extremely eager to make sure she knew what I wanted and that I got the exact backgrounds I wanted for photo shoots, even offering to go hiking with me to find perfect spots days prior to the engagement shoot.
The day of the wedding she arrived early and went far above and beyond what a photographer is expected to do! She has a heart of gold and volunteered to help me, and anyone else, as much as she could. I didn't have a bridal party, so she even helped my mother assist me in getting ready.
After all the wedding photos were taken, she put everything onto a thumbdrive for me before she left at the end of the night. It was wonderful and exciting to have those photos the same day.
You will not be disappointed if you book Kris! I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend her to everyone for weddings or anything you might need a photographer for! I couldn't have picked a better photographer (or a nicer person!) and will definitely be booking her in the future when needed. Kris is AMAZING! :)

Not only did Kris take the most amazing pictures , but she was amazing in every way! Kris was at my rehersal taking pictures and ended up putting her camera down to help eveyone with everything! she decorated, offered up ideas, she was amazing with all the little kids running around, she was so knowledgeable and came up with so many ideas that were amazing! wedding morning she was right by my side....All Morning! She even left at one point to make sure I had music for my ceremony that we thought we had....hours before start of ceremony! If it wasnt for Kris, who knew exactly what the problem was... we would have walked down the aisle to piano music! Kris helped my dreams come true in so many ways!!! Miss Kris wears many hats....photographer is just one of them! Kris kept me calm when I wanted to break down and cry many times!!! Kris is such a people person, eveyone loved her....my guest couldn't get over the amount of pictures she took and how she gets in there and captures every single meaning moment!!
I know for a fact I made the best choice ever in hiring Miss Kris for My Wedding Day! We will be using Miss Kris again and again!! Miss Kris has excellent prices and so many options when it comes to picture selection....I promise you will want every picture she takes! Yes, They Are That Good!! Kris did a fantastic job photographing my daughter's wedding! She arrived early to take pictures of all the small detail that nobody thinks of. She was so easy to work with and knew exactly what was wanted and needed to capture the day perfectly. Picture taking for weddings is so boring and formal but with Kris it was fun and not stiff or unnatural. She captured moments of children being playful and family members coming together. She talked with us made suggestions and was able to make everyone comfortable. Kris wasn't just someone doing a job she has passion loves what she does and we could not of had a better photographer! Kris is a wonderful person to work with and has many talents besides photography. She helped out with many details on the day of the wedding and took charge of details when I needed it. 150% worth every penny and the pictures are absolutely amazing!!

Kris is an amazing photographer. There really aren't enough words to describe her photos, she captures every moment, even the ones you don't realize happen until you look through the photos. She also gets them up and ready so quickly!! Simply amazing!

Kris recently photographed my wedding and she is absolutely wonderful to work with!!! Not only is she a great photographer, but she is a great person with a big heart and wonderful personality!! She knew we were going to be on a little bit of a time crunch between the ceremony and reception and worked efficiently to get all of the pictures we needed and wanted while we all still managed to have fun! And, while we were getting ready before the ceremony, she took it upon herself to grab the steamer and start steaming the bridesmaids' dresses for us! I have been getting so many compliments on our wedding pictures and would highly recommend Kris for all of your photography needs!!!

Kris photographed our wedding as well as our engagement pictures. She is amazing! Our engagement pictures turned out great! She encouraged us to come with cool ideas for different photos/poses we wanted and also let us bring cute props for our photos too. She had a bunch of creative ideas for different photos we could take and she knew all the good spots in Blue Spruce Park for photos. She will do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot, even if it means laying on the ground in a pile of leaves at our fall engagement photo shoot!
Our wedding pictures are perfect. We got married over a month ago and I still can’t stop obsessing over the photos. She captured every single moment beautifully, from the rehearsal through the entire wedding day. She photographed the guys golfing the morning of the wedding then met the girls at the hair salon and photographed us there, she even followed us to Ulta and Eat N Park and made sure she captured every moment of our big day, she is amazing!! She rode golf carts with us after the ceremony and took beautiful pictures all over the golf course. She took my favorite photo by lying upside down on the side of a bank to capture the sun shining through the trees on me and my husband as he dipped me. I can’t stress enough how much we loved her. All of my family and friends raved about how awesome she was. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Kris was amazing throughout our entire wedding process. She did both our engagement and wedding photos. She was flexible, accommodating, kind, patient, and caring. She truly went above and beyond. Not only did she take amazing photos, but she also helped straighten out wedding details. She was willing to do whatever needed to be done to make sure our day was memorable. At the end of the night, Kris gave us a flash drive with all of the raw images from our special day! We were thrilled to be able to see the photos immediately. Kris was so much more than a photographer to us. From the first moment we contacted her, she was professional, prompt with her responses and informative. We like to joke now that she was my entourage!! She attended our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner to find out where the good shots were and then followed me all day on our wedding day. Kris even stopped to grab some pics of they guys getting ready! At the end of our wedding night she handed us a jump drive to view all of the raw copies of the two days. Talk about fast service!! We would recommend Miss Kris to anyone that was in need of a photographer!

Kris was an amazing photographer the whole through our wedding process. From our engagement photos to the surprise wedding shower that afternoon to the rehearsal to the wedding day. Not only did Kris take amazing photos everywhere we went she also took her time to make it a surprise and our bridal party got pictures at the Indiana county fair as a surprise after the wedding and the pictures were phenomenal!!!! I would highly recommend Kris for any occasion her prices are well worth everything you get and literally we got thousands of photos!!!!! She even helped my husband smile (he is not a smiler when it comes to pictures) she did such a excellent job with all of our request and I wouldn't have changed a thing she made our memories worth a lifetime and more!

Kris did an excellent job taking photos at our wedding. She was friendly, professional, flexible, accommodating and went above and beyond being just our wedding photographer. She helped us with so many additional things outside of taking pictures and was genuinely happy to be as involved as possible. Her pictures were great and she captured so many amazing moments. She took a ton of images and immediately gave us the raw images so that we could see them (unlike most other places where you have to wait several weeks). I can't say enough about how great it was to work with her and we will definitely be using her for future photography needs! We had an amazing experience and highly recommend Kris's services.

Kris did an amazing job! I would very highly recommend her to anyone! My sisters hem even came out of her dress a few minutes before the wedding and she had a sewing kit to stitch it back up! She was fantastic and if I ever need a photographer I know exactly where to go!

We hired Kris as our wedding photographer. She was absolutely amazing! From day 1, she made herself extremely easy to approach; we were able to call or message her and recieved a response in no time! Kris began taking our pictures at rehearsal and stayed throughout the entire rehearsal dinner. She met myself and the girls early the next morning at the salon for our hair and makeup then followed us back to our hotel where she photographed us getting ready. She also made sure to take photos of the boys getting ready in their room. Kris captured every aspect of the ceremony and her knowledge of the venue allowed for a smooth post-ceremony photo session. Despite the rain, Kris took amazing photos of our outdoor ceremony and reception. After our reception, Kris handed us a flash drive with all of our pictures on it. We were able to view all our photos immediately! There are other photographers who take great pictures, but Kris's work ethic, professionalism, and personality set her apart from everyone else. It is without hesitation that I would highly recommend Kris to anyone searching for a photographer to capture their special day.

I have used Kris for numerous events. My boyfriends stepson 13th Birthday, My grandma's 90th birthday and many sporting events. She knows how to capture every special moments or sports move. Her pricing is reasonable. She always has a great personality while she is working.

She was so flexibile and was there for all the major moments, including the day of rehearsals and was up the next day at the hair salon with me at 7:30am to get pictures of me getting ready. Kris made my daughter a very happy girl for a day as she spent the day into the evening celebrating and taking photos of my daughter's Bridal Party event, The girls in the wedding surprised my daughter with a luncheon then an afternoon of special pictures for her as a gift to her new husband! The best decision we ever made, aside from getting married, was hiring Kris as our photographer!!! She's extremely talented, knowledgable, personable, and realistic.
I ended up with an incompetent wedding planner and had it not been for this amazing woman's passion and skill, we would have run into many problems. She arrived the night before the wedding for photos of the rehearsal, early the next morning for preparations, and stayed well into the reception to capture every heart warming moment she could possibkly witness!
I'll forever be grateful for all of the hundreds of pictures she provided us with to reminisce on our once in a life time day!
No one could go wrong with choosing Kris and I truly can't say enough with your years of expertise and desire to deliver, you are the best!!!

Kris was amazing! She photographed our wedding in the middle of winter and had no issues going out in the snow for any shots that we wanted. She is so much fun to work with and really took great pictures! The fact that she gave us all of our pictures on discs at the end of our reception is incredible. You get way more for the price that you pay than any other photographers in the area. I definitely recommend her!!

Kris did a fantastic job for my wedding. She was there for the rehearsal dinner taking picture. The morning of the weddding, she was at my parent's house taking pictures of the morning festivities. She was everywhere before, during, and after the the wedding ceremony. Once at the reception, she was everywhere as well. Kris, is a fantastic photographer. I love her work.

We used Curly Bear Productions for a photo booth at our wedding reception. We thought having a photo booth would be fun for our guests and would capture even more moments during our special day. Not only was this affordable; it was a BLAST. We now have an album and a CD filled with hilarious photos of our guests with and without us. I doubt we would have had an experience as wonderful as we did with anyone other than Curly Bear Productions. I would recommend this service to anyone!

chris took pictures for my daughter's wedding not only was she there the day of the wedding she was there for the rehearsal dinner as well as all of the events leading up to the actual wedding that day we could not be any happier with all of the pictures Kris captured things that we didn't even think to take pictures of.

We chose Curly Bear Productions based on work we'd seen her do in the past, unfortunately in our case that was not what we received. Kris was very friendly and responsive but that does not make up for the poor quality photographs we received from one of the most important events of our life. Many pictures were overedited to the point of looking "cartoonish", lighting was poor and many photos were not centered properly and lacked the professional touch. We waited almost an entire year for the final edited pictures that pale in comparison to what my wife did with only Facebook photo editing. Kris did work with us to provide albums to make up for our displeasure but unfortunately this doesn't make up for the lack of professional photographs from our wedding day.
