Stunning, Delicious, and Natural
We ordered both our wedding cupcakes and cake in 2023 and the cake for our first child's gender reveal this year from Manon. She is an absolute artist and everything she has made for us was just as stunning as it was delicious. It is so hard to find desserts with natural ingredients and she has delivered every time. She also goes above and beyond to ensure her cakes accommodate strict dietary restrictions for things such as Celiacs and nut allergies. If you are looking for a special treat for any occasion, look no further. I cannot say enough good things about Cupcakes d'Amour! -

Our cake was just perfect exactly how we expected and the taste and quality exceeded our expectations. The cupcakes and dessert shooters we also super delicious!! Manon is an amazing baker. Highly recommend and her prices are reasonable and well worth it! -

After a wonderful taste tasting of 4 amazing flavors, my daughter and fiance chose a 2 tiered naked cake for their wedding, with 1) chocolate reeses/peanut butter frosting and 2) lemon poppy/blueberry buttercream frosting. We love that Manon uses real and natural ingredients, and had gluten free options for our guests. Manon embodies professionalism and is so thoughtful in her technique and presentation. Truly the best cakes that we have ever had! -

Cupcakes d'Amour was absolutely wonderful and perfect for my wedding! I was instantly blown away by the absolute love and care this company has towards its customers. I believe Cupcakes d’Amour has the best ingredients in their cake/cupcakes and is absolutely delicious!! My whole family was talking about how pretty the cake looked and that it tasted heavenly compared to store-bought. I believe my cake was fairly priced for my wedding, and will be buying mini cupcake versions for my year anniversary coming up. Love the owner, and just adore how she puts so much love into her art! -

I absolutely loved my wedding cake, it was beautiful and tasted amazing! Manon was a pleasure to work with, she takes the quality of her ingredients very seriously and she was super helpful in selecting flavors for cupcakes to accommodate dairy and nut allergies for some of my guests. I had a three tiered cake that was chocolate, cinnamon, lemon with strawberry filling and frosted with ginger buttercream decorated with orange slices. I know I want to celebrate my first anniversary with one of her cakes! -

Cupcakes d'Amour was such an amazing experience and helped make our wedding day extra special! My husband is very picky and normally does not enjoy sweets, but almost fell out of his chair from pleasure after tasting her vanilla cupcakes! From first bite we knew we found the person we wanted to do our wedding cake. Not only were her cupcakes delicious, but she was incredibly professional. She welcomed us into her home for a personal cupcake tasting. She had custom options to make things more affordable or luxurious as you want. She made she our cake was set up on our day beautifully. I definitely recommend this business for any wedding looking to have a beautiful and delicious wedding cake!

Wonderful experience, start to finish!
The beautiful, delicious cake and cupcakes that Manon made for our celebration was everything my wife and I could have wanted! From the initial tasting meeting to the day of the event, each step was well communicated and organized, and stress-free. All of our guests from young to old raved about how much they loved the cakes, and everything disappeared very quickly. So kind of Manon to set aside some cupcakes for our family to bring home and enjoy the next day. We couldn't recommend Cupcakes D' Amour and Manon more highly! -

We absolutely loved our wedding cake which included 4 layers of amaretto, strawberry, mocha & cinnamon. Each layer was decadent and flavourful. We decided on a simple, white, textured buttercream icing. We provided real flowers to cascade the cake and provided our own topper. It was beautiful. We also used another vendor to provide cupcakes. It was perfect. -

Last year we hired Manon to create a cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding and were SO impressed! The cake was absolutely stunning and Manon decorated it with some of the flowers that we used for the wedding. The cake itself was delicious and flavorful! The cupcakes looked like they were straight out of a magazine and went very fast once the desserts were available after dinner. Everyone raved about the cupcakes.

Manon was a lovely baker for our wedding. We immediately loved the flavors when we did a tasting and knew we couldn't choose anyone else. Her cinnamon cupcake was delicious, while still being very light and natural. We hired her for both our wedding cake and cupcakes and highly recommend. She did a lovely three-tiered cake with edible orchids as our wedding cake and it was beautiful. -

Perfect wedding cake
We're so happy with the wedding cake from Cupcakes d'Amour. We got a 4-layer cake with different flavors on each layer and colorful pressed flowers on the outside. It was gorgeous and Manon totally fulfilled our vision. It also tasted amazing, and there were literally only 2 slices left at the end of the night. Manon set aside a package of cupcakes for us (the couple) in each flavor in addition to the cake. We didn't have time to eat at the wedding, so really appreciated this thoughtful gesture from her! Communication, scheduling, payment, and delivery were straightforward. 10/10! -

Manon was wonderful to work with for testing out cupcake flavors for our wedding. She made sure everything was always fresh and delicious each time. She's very easy to communicate with and ensures your cupcakes/cakes are exactly how you like them. These were by far the best cupcakes we trialed for our wedding, and at the wedding (even though we ordered way more than we needed for 80 people), the cupcakes ended up completely gone by the end of the night. They were a huge hit. They're the perfect level of sweetness for eating more than one. -

Outstanding: a true artist!
Manon is superb. From the cupcake tasting to creating our wedding cake this year, she was just perfect. She was not only incredibly receptive to our unique requests but was with us every step of the way, including customized fruit toppings and unique aesthetic floral inclusions. On the day-of she delivered, set up, and even tweaked the cake arrangement to be perfect for the space and lighting. And as a plus: it was incredibly delicious! -

We cannot offer Manon (Cupcakes d'Amour) enough praise. The cake that she artfully created for our October 2022 wedding was flawless and so delicious. You can quite literally taste the quality - our guests raved about our cake all night long (both the appearance and taste)! Manon was professional, meticulous, and timely throughout both the planning and delivery processes. We personally enjoyed her use of the CakeSafe system to ensure safe delivery (ask her about it!). We look forward to using Manon & Cupcakes d'Amour for our cake needs in the future! -

Amazing Cupcakes!
We decided to schedule a tasting with Manon after finding her at a dessert showcase she was at in Raleigh!
Due to a lot of our guests having a gluten allergy, we did our entire tasting in GF because if her cupcakes were great, then her non-GF cupcakes would be amazing! And to say Manon did not disappoint is an understatement!
We had 250 guests, about 1,000 cupcakes, 4 different flavors, and 4 dozen cupcakes what were either GF, dairy free, or nut-free.
ALL of the cupcakes were gone by the end of the night and our guests could not stop talking about how amazing they tasted (even the ones who “accidentally” ate the allergen friendly cupcakes).
We can’t wait to use Manon for all of our future events! Highly recommend! -

We had a delicious red velvet cake, buttercream icing, and pressed burgundy flowers to match our wedding colors. We were worried that guests might snub the fact that we went for a one-layer cutting cake rather than a tiered cake due to the size of our wedding, but guests were in awe at the beautiful cake!! You cannot go wrong choosing Cupcakes d'Amour for your wedding or other special event. Manon puts so much thought and care into her creations. All of her recipes are science-backed -- she is a degree in analytical chemistry and it really shows in the quality of the desserts. I really wanted unique flavors that popped for my wedding desserts, and she definitely delivered on that request! My absolute favorite was the Blueberry Lemon - I cannot wait to order them for another event! We had both cupcakes and a beautiful wedding cake that we are saving to eat on our anniversary. Amazing from start to finish!
Manon made the whole process so easy from start to finish! She was responsive and able to help us quickly decide what size and type of cake worked best for our wedding since we were also having a bunch of desserts from our caterers. It was an absolute pleasure working with Manon. From our experience with the tasting at her beautiful home dining room all through the wedding day itself, everything was a breeze. It was so easy to communicate with her and she was a delight to work with. She has an arsenal of really delicious and unique flavor options and I love how her cakes really taste of pure buttery deliciousness. Her buttercream is made with pure butter and to top it off, she handpicks fresh strawberries if they are in season (they were for our cake). It was also very easy to communicate with her and decide on what size of cake would best suit our guest size as well as make any updates to the florals. I changed my mind on the design I wanted and she was able to accommodate it last minute with ease. We ended up having a chocolate with vanilla buttercream, strawberry with strawberry buttercream and my personal favorite chocolate with raspberry filling 3 - tiered cake and it was the most beautiful and delicious cake I have seen and eaten yet. I cannot wait to order our first anniversary cake from her to reminisce the chocolate raspberry goodness!!! -

Manon was such a pleasure to work with and deserves beyond 5 stars for flavor and design.
We were beyond thrilled with the unique flavors and design Manon created for our Non-traditional wedding. A 3 tier of 1 tier lemon with lemon frosting and raspberry fill and 2 tiers of carrot with ginger, and decorated with dried flower pedals from Manons own garden cascading down the side of the frosted cake. The cake was as beautiful as it was delicious and Manon was amazing to work with. -

Wonderful experience from start to finish
Our daughters wedding was moved up 6 months and we were worried we would not be able to find the best vendors available. We reached out to Manon and she was immediately willing to help with not only the wedding cake and cupcakes but the rehearsal/gender reveal cake as well!! She was gracious and lovely when we met for the taste testing and even worked on creating special homemade bears for the reveal cake! And the best part was all the compliments we received on how delicious everything was!! My personal favorite was the chocolate/peanut butter cupcakes with little Reese’s cups on top! My favorite part of wedding planning, without a doubt, was the cupcake tasting. Not only are Manon's cupcakes absolutely delicious, but she is incredibly fun to work with. Working with Manon for our wedding was easy as a breeze! She was super helpful when it came to deciding the quantity of cupcakes needed for our event and even gave great advice about decor for the dessert table. On the day of our wedding celebration, Manon's display of cupcakes and my wedding cake came together beautifully! And of course, the flavors were an absolute hit with our guests! We ordered lemon/blueberry, cinnamon, carrot, and chocolate/sea salt caramel with coconut. I don't even know where to begin, except to say - if you're trying to figure out who to use for your next cake or cupcakes you gotta use Manon and Cupcakes D'amour. From the samples she provided, to delivery the day of it was perfect. We had to make some last minutes changes to numbers due to COVID, but it wasn't a problem at all.
The cupcakes were so good we just ordered some to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and they may have been even better than before.

She was so incredibly patient in helping my husband and I choose the best flavors of cupcakes and for our two-tiered cake for our wedding -- and trust me when I say the difficulty was mostly in narrowing down to just 6 flavors (4 cupcakes, and two for the cake)! Everything was stunning and the guests couldn't stop raving about how delicious it all was! While everything Manon makes is both beautiful and incredibly delicious, the stand out for me is how light yet flavorful her cake and frosting are! OMG the BUTTERCREAM is just SO good!! Manon with Cupcakes D’amour is incredible. As many others this year, my wedding was affected by Covid-19. Manon not only was extremely flexible with the changes to my day, but also supportive and understanding. Best cake of my life
This whole experience made me feel so special! Cupcakes d'Amour is a small business, so I felt personally cared for, like I got to really know where the cake was coming from and all the (top quality) ingredients. My Cake Superhero
I met Manon through a friend before I got engaged. She rescued me from a cake disaster for my sons birthday. After my first taste of his cake I knew I wouldn’t trust another soul with any cake I needed in the future. After my engagement, the cake was the one vendor there was no questions on. I called Manon and we had the best experience during our tasting. My husband had no option on anything, but once he taste her red velvet cake he would not bend... it had to be one of the tiers. The cake was beautiful and held up amazingly in the North Carolina heat. The taste is beyond compare. The only thing better than the product is the amazing customer service that you receive working with Manon. I’m counting down the months until the next birthday just so I can have another cake! -

Manon was absolutely amazing! We used Cupcakes d’Amour for a small wedding cake to share in an intimate celebration for our family afterwards. Manon was so very patient and accommodating. We picked Cupcakes d'Amour as our wedding cake vendor and it was amazing! The tasting went great- so hard to pick just a few flavors when so many were delicious! The wedding cake turned out lovely and super delicious! Just what we wanted for our wedding cake! Very happy with our decision. -

We love cupcakes d’Amour!! Manon did our wedding cake and even made it gluten free for me because I have celiac disease and it was absolutely delicious! Our wedding guests couldn’t even tell the difference! We had several cake tastings and Manon was always so sweet, helpful and welcoming! We were so happy with our decision to have cupcakes d’Amour do our wedding cake! -

Unlike any other
Cupcakes d'Amour was one of the biggest hits of our entire wedding! The cupcakes we ordered were AMAZING and they are truly unlike any other cupcakes we've ever had. Our guests were so pleased with the flavor selection and will not stop raving about it. -

Manon did an amazing job on our wedding cake! When we went in for the tasting, I brought 2 of my friends from my bridal party, and she was very accommodating and listened to what I wanted. When we had our cake cutting, I literally stopped and said, "Wow, this is REALLY good!" and we ended up feeding each other an entire piece in front of the reception instead of just a bite, lol! Many of our guests raved about the cake, and the buttercream was amazing. We intended to freeze the top layer but we (and by we I mean me) ate the entire thing the week after. We chose chocolate layers and lemon layers with raspberries between, with buttercream frosting. I would definitely recommend Cupcakes d'Amore! -

Jennifer Sent on 08/20/2018Manon at Cupcakes d'Amour did an amazing job on our wedding cake! Our baker went MIA a month before our wedding and she was recommended by our coordinator. Thankfully she was available. She created a beautiful, delicious watercolor inspired cake. I sent her a photo of what I had in mind and because she had never done another cake like it she made a mock up for us to see during our meeting. She has so many lovely flavors available it was hard to pick three. We loved the Cinnamon Roll cake with cinnamon frosting. To us it tasted exactly like a snicker doodle cookie. We still have dreams about it. Manon delivered everything to our venue on time (despite the rain) and even added the flowers provided by our florist. I would recommend her to everyone. I plan to order all my cakes and cupcakes from her in the future!! -

She is responsive, ensures everything is in order for day-of, and bakes delicious desserts! She is able to accommodate for gluten allergies; I have celiac disease, and I had the best cake and cupcakes from this business with no issues! She was able to make my Pinterest dreams a reality; I was very impressed! Thank you for helping to make our wedding day amazing!

Jennifer Sent on 07/30/2017We hired Cupcakes d'Amour for our wedding back in May. We had around 100 attendees and purchased 4 different flavors. Our guests RAVED about the cupcakes and they snapped them up so fast that we almost didn't get any! Manon also made us a very small cake for the cake cutting ceremony which worked out nicely. Manon uses all natural ingredients and her flavors are amazing. I wasn't very concerned about the decor for our cake table other than the topper and the cutter, so Manon brought in some beautiful table decor to dress things up. It was a relief for me to not have to do anything else and have the table look beautiful! Manon did a tasting for us before we decided on flavors and was a breeze to work with throughout the entire process! -

Great experience working with Manon. She accomodated for my gluten and dairy allergies and the pressed flower design on my cake was beautiful. All my guests really enjoyed the desserts and I will definitely work with her again! -

Would recommend but be sure to do a tasting
As far as professionalism, flexibility and quality of service I was highly satisfied. I was planning a wedding in 2 months so quick responses and flexibility really helped the process be less stressful. I am not sure on the value of the cake as I did not do a lot of research on what a 2 tier wedding cake cost on average but the price seemed fair.
I had a 2 tier cake, one tier was chocolate and the other was vanilla both with vanilla buttercream. The design was simple, yet elegant and beautiful. The chocolate was very delicious, and moist. The buttercream was good although it tasted a little lemony. The vanilla cake however was a huge disappointment. It was very dry and wasn’t sweet at all. It tasted like cornbread with icing or angel food cake. Very unsatisfying. I love cake and I’m not a picky eater at all so if I don’t like something than that means it really is bad. I would recommend this baker because she is very professional and talented with her design I would just suggest doing a tasting first to ensure you get what you want on your special day. My wedding was out of town and I didn’t have time for a tasting I thought by getting a classic flavor I was playing it safe, didn’t realize classic flavors could be messed up so badly. -

Delicious cake/cupcake flavors and great service!
When I learned about Cupcakes d'Amour and reached out to Manon, I was very impressed with her responsiveness and willingness to design our wedding cake. In selecting the flavors, we did a cupcake tasting and absolutely LOVED the lemon-flavored cupcakes and the Reese's cupcake topped with peanut butter frosting. Lastly, my now husband and I had to reschedule our wedding date due to the pandemic, and Manon was flexible and moved our cake and cupcake services for the new date for a small fee. -
