Amazing Rose Gold Rock Candy

Love your Work!

I ordered Beach themed Pretzels for our Beach wedding in Florida. The Chocolate pretzels were shipped on time and arrived in perfect condition!! I am in love! 💙💙💙 So pretty! Thank you for mixing the colors of light blue and aqua! They are simply perfect!

The cupcakes and French Macarons were so delicious! My bridal shower guests were in for a treat! I was glad to have found Cupcake Novelties while searching online. It was easy to finalize and place the order. She was very responsive and quick to reply to any questions.

Colors for the desserts were customized to match our colors of tiffany blue and silver. It all looked well put together! Strongly recommend Cupcake Novelties for all your dessert needs!!!

We received our package of beautifully wrapped rock candy treasures in time for a special day. We purchased this as part of our wedding guest favors. They turned out lovely and smelled delicious.

We chose clear gold dipped rock candy, they were very elegant and the perfect size for people to enjoy. Would definitely order again in the future from this fine confection maker, thank you for making our day that much more special.

Highly recommended! Very easy to work with, communication was easy, quick and friendly, and our desserts were delivered and setup on time on the day of the wedding. Can't wait to order again soon!!

Absolutely amazing experience working with Cupcake Novelties! We ordered 17 dozen pieces of Bride and Groom Rice Krispie treat favors for our wedding and were blown away with the quality of the work.

They arrived in perfect condition shipped all the way to Minnesota! Very accommodating and willing to work with us on custom designs! They turned out adorable. A big hit at the wedding! Thank you :)

Our wedding cake was fantastic! Farozan is incredibly talented at creating delicious and beautiful cakes that are not overly sugary like some cakes. We had a 3 tier cake: mocha with raspberry compote & chocolate ganache icing, apple ginger with caramel sauce and caramel buttercream icing, and white chocolate with chocolate ganache & raspberry filling. Every layer was moist, delicious and amazing! She made the cake look delicate and beautiful for our spring wedding. I highly recommend her! Some of the other reviewers comment on some issues with payment or communication- I did not have any issues with either. Farozan answered emails within very reasonable time frames and all my payments were made through PayPal without any issues.

You HAVE to book Cupcake Novelties! My mom and I are so obsessed with Farozan that we order cupcakes/cookies/cakes/etc from her anytime we have any sort of party. We found her when planning my sister's wedding and of course got my wedding cake from her for my wedding on 10/16/16. I'm 28 and thus have been to a TON of weddings in the past few years. I have never had cake from a wedding that I thought was anything special, except for Farazon's. Farozan's cakes are SOOO flavorful & moist - trust me you will love them!! I got a million compliments on it and enjoyed taking all the credit =) We had 3 delicious flavors - coconut cake with coconut buttercream & chocolate ganache filling, vanilla cake with salted caramel buttercream and caramel sauce filling, and apple ginger cake with pumpkin buttercream. Omg, amazing. Do not look any further.

When my now-husband and I first began the wedding planning process, we wanted to ensure the food at our wedding was top-notch - including our desserts. I wanted cupcakes on a cupcake tower and a small 6-inch cake on top. My sister and I did a cupcake tasting at a more well-known and established cupcake establishment and the cupcakes were just...ehhh. We found Farozan via Wedding Wire and saw her amazing reviews, so we set up a tasting. My husband and I met Farozan at a local Starbucks for our tasting and the cupcakes were OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. So delicious and moist. My husband said he wanted to hire her right on the spot after he tasted her almond cupcake with raspberry filling (lol). Farozan is so sweet and is a small business owner, so I felt much better about giving her my business rather than "the big guys." In fact, we hired her to also do all the cupcakes for my bridal shower. On our big day, the cupcake tower looked AWESOME and of course the cupcakes did not disappoint...we got rave reviews from our guests! We definitely plan to use Cupcake Novelties in the future for upcoming events. THANK YOU, Farozan!

We had cake pops and pie pops instead of a traditional cake for our wedding, and everyone was so intrigued by the pie pops. It was so cool to provide something new for people to try and everyone was raving about the cake pops and pie pops. Everything was delicious and we were able to provide our own platters so we didn't have to return anything after the wedding. I definitely plan on using Farozan again if I ever need to cater dessert for anything!

I found cupcake novelties on wedding wire and worked completely through email for flavor and style selection, ordering, and delivery coordination. The cupcakes and rice crispy pops we selected showed up on time, and organized on our display without issue.

THE FLAVORS WERE FANTASTIC. My new husband and I watched the guests not only go back for seconds and thirds…but some guests have 5 cupcakes b/c they were that good.

Farozen, the owner, was awesome and flexible. Any event in the future where I need cupcakes, desserts, cakes, etc I will definitely go to Cupcake Novelties!

I got a wedding cake and cake pop favors for my wedding and chocolate dip Oreos favors for my rehearsal (decorated as bride grooms matching my wedding colors!), and everything was very well made. I was very happy with all the desserts.

Simply amah-zing cupcakes and cakes!!!! We were extremely pleased with our decision to go with Cupcake Novelties, after having tried several other cake vendors in the area. Our tasting was excellent, and on our wedding day, Farozan came on time and set everything up perfectly.

We got a lot of compliments and can't wait to use Cupcake Novelties again soon! Highly recommended!!

We opted for cupcakes with a cake topper for our wedding reception. Farozan was so nice to work with. We first met for a tasting and despite the snow, she arrived on time (we were late) and was very friendly and professional. Her cake flavors were the best we had tasted and our decision was quickly made. We chose 5 flavors, paid the deposit and confidently set the date. The cake, cupcakes and cupcake stand arrived as scheduled, she set it all up, and EVERYONE loved the cakes. It was a little challenging returning the cake stand the following day, but clearly worth the effort. I would recommend Farazon and Cupcake Novelties to anyone. Her tastings are offered in multiple places in the DC Metro area.

Farozan (at Cupcake Novelties) was wonderful to work with. She was responsive and flexible, and the tasting was convenient and exactly what we needed to select our desired desserts. Farozan made four different flavors of cupcakes for my wedding, and she also made cake pops as party favors and decorated them as if they were wearing tuxedos and wedding dresses. Our guests raved about the desserts, and my husband and I were extremely satisfied with our decision.

My hubby and I got the most amazing wedding cake and cake pops favors from Cupcake Novelties!!!! Our guests raved about how delicious the cake was.. I chose chocolate cake with white chocolate ganache inside, and the outside was an elegant ivory design that I selected from Farozan's portfolio. It looked perfect in our quaint vintage wedding reception venue, and the cute bride & groom cake pops as favors were the perfect little treat for our guests.

Everything was a big hit, and we were absolutely pleased with our experience! Been recommending her to everyone we know! Can't wait for my niece's birthday to place my next order!!

Farozan is amazing! Throughout the planning process, she was professional, responsive, and easy to work with. She created our wedding cake, which was both beautiful AND delicious. Our guests said it was the best wedding cake they had ever eaten! It was the best cake I have ever had, period. I can't wait to take the top layer out of the freezer for our first anniversary.

Farozan was great to work with - and makes really delicious amazing cakes and cupcakes. I just wish I did a better job of hiding some away to eat after the wedding, because they went quickly! She has a variety of flavors and types of icing and filling - seasonal and traditional to fit any theme. Great price and quality and she's very friendly and responsive to needs.

We ordered cupcakes and a top tier for our wedding and everything was great! Farozan set up the cupcakes on the tower we rented from her. She was flexible in meeting with us (twice) for a tasting and then to return the tower. We had four different flavors of cupcakes so it was slightly confusing for guests to know which cupcake was which. She has a ton of flavors to choose from and will even customize to your liking! I will definitely go back to Cupcake Novelties for our next event.

These were simply the best cupcakes and cakes I've had, and I'm quite the cupcake connoisseur!! The tasting we had was so good that we booked Cupcake Novelties on the spot, and were so excited to have such delicious cupcakes at our wedding, because truthfully, who remembers when they had good cake last at a wedding?? Most wedding cakes are dry and flavorless.

The cupcakes were moist and flavorful and we were impressed with the large number of flavor choices in the menu at this place. The response time from Farozan was quick and she was eager to listen to our ideas and implement them, rather than impose restrictions on design and colors.

We were very impressed with our experience and will recommend you to everyone we know :) Thank you!!!

Very delicious! Undoubtedly the best cupcakes available in the Fairfax and northern Virginia area! I have tried tons of cupcake places all around here, and the ones from Cupcake Novelties were so moist and flavorful! The icing on top was not too sweet and just perfect! It complemented the cupcake beautifully.

I am very impressed, being that I ordered 3 different times - for my wedding and for 2 other occasions in the family after that, and each time the cupcake quality was consistent. Been recommending this place to everyone I know!!

Our dessert buffet looked simply fabulous!!!! Thanks so much for the delicious desserts. The cupcakes were gone in minutes, and the cake pops and chocolate covered strawberries looked perfect and tasted yummy!

Cupcake Novelties cakes are delicious and beautify, for a good value. We loved sampling cakes from Farozan so much for the we had our mother-in-law work with her for our welcome reception as well, for which she provided cake pops, cookies, and cupcakes (the chocolate and peanut butter cupcake was described as life-changing by multiple attendees).

Our cake on the day of the wedding ended up being beautiful and delicious, and looked as I'd expected. Only did I find out the next day that Farozan had been in a car accident on the way to the wedding site, and had had to RECONSTRUCT some of the cake on-site. She made it look so good that I couldn't even tell anything was wrong during the cake cutting. That take professionalism to a whole new level - definitely above and beyond.

I absolutely recommend Cupcake Novelties for any wedding cake and dessert needs.

Cupcake Novelties was a joy to work with on our wedding. Farozan was easy to communicate with, fast with responding to emails, and was so helpful on giving us ideas and designs - I haven't worked with anyone who was so quick and a pleasure to be around!

Absolutely delicious cupcakes and cake!! She came and set up on time, the display looked perfect, even better than what we imagined.

Our guests and family really enjoyed all the flavors. The salted caramel, chocolate peanut butter and red velvet were all yummy. The vegan chocolate cake was mindblowing! I haven't had great vegan cakes or cupcakes anywhere and this was simply the best. Our vegan friends couldn't believe how good it tasted.

Very highly recommend this business for any occasion!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! We were so pleased with our wedding cake! It got rave reviews from all our guests. The flavors were divine and so well made.

Even more awesome were our favors - Pies in a Jar! They were perfect for our Fall November wedding. We got Apple Pies, Blueberry Pies, Pumpkin Pies & Cherry Pies - each one was excellent!! So many of our guests did not know that pies could be made in jars, and I myself haven't come across a lot of people who do them and do them so well!

We got our wedding cookies that we gave out as favors from Cupcake Novelties. They were so delicious and well made. They looked pretty! Added a sweet look to our tables.

We were so bummed that we did not know about Cupcake Novelties earlier! We would DEFINITELY have gotten our wedding cake from her as well.

We couldn't get out of our contract from another bakery to come to her for the cake. Wish we could!! Very highly recommend!!

Thank you for the most delicious wedding cupcakes and cake we've ever had! Every guest raved about the taste and flavor!

The most popular flavor from the 4 cupcake flavors we got was the Chocolate Orange!! The Red Velvet, chocolate mint and lemon strawberry were big hits too! The pretty roses on the cupcakes were an added touch that elevated them to the next level.

The cookies that we used as favors looked so pretty on each table place, thanks so much for doing a great job on our wedding! Will recommend you to everyone I know!

Cupcake Novelties came referred to us from another vendor, and wow! were we happy with Cupcake Novelties or what!?!

The groom's cake that we got was AMAZING ! An exact replica of a bag of Cheetos that my fiance loves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the frosting and cake consistency were perfect.

Our wedding cake was a very delicious 4 tall tiers of carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream. It was PERFECT. Everything we wanted.

Farozan is an amazing baker. Will definitely be using you again and make many referrals if asked!!!!! We Will be in touch for future inquiries:)

My fiance and I ordered our wedding cupcakes and Pie Pops for favors from Farozan, Cupcake Novelties. They were a huge hit at the wedding and got talked about even more than my dress..ha ha!!

The cupcakes were very delicious and looked amazing. I've never seen such pretty decoration, specially the icing roses that she does on the cupcakes, anywhere else. The colors we had were a blush pink and a coral and the cupcakes matched the colors and decor perfectly.

I thought Pie Pops would make unique favors to give out, go well with our Fall wedding and look cute...they were all that and more! They looked so cute! Guests could not believe that we were giving out pies on a stick!

They were wrapped up neatly and Farozan even set them up on each place setting. She arrived and set up on time, and was very quick and prompt with emails and communication. I can't wait to order again!

I got the best VEGAN WEDDING CAKE ever!!!!! I was so overjoyed with how it looked and how it tasted!

My guests could not believe that the cake was vegan! It was moist and fluffy with a yummy filling and vegan icing. Totally delicious!

We met Farozan for a vegan cake tasting and all the flavors she got were awesome. We chose 3 different vegan cake flavors for the wedding cake and also got few dozen of the regular cupcake flavors, just in case to have extra on the side.

All our guests loved the cake and cupcakes and raved about the taste and appearance. It looked so beautiful! Thank you for adding the magical touch to our wedding day with a yummy and pretty cake centerpiece! Highly highly recommend!!

The wedding cake we got was excellent! Farozan arrived on time and set up the cake as we had planned.

The cake was creatively designed and I've never seen such professionalism from any bakery that we have dealt with. The emails were promptly responded to, and there were no delays or gaps in communication. We were so happy and relieved to be dealing with Cupcake Novelties!

The cherry on top was that the cake was absolutely delicious and yummy! Our guests were finding it hard to believe that something that looked so good could taste even better! It is a combination hard to find nowadays!

If you are looking for amazing quality, taste, gorgeous decoration and a professional business, I very highly recommend Cupcake Novelties!

Cupcake Novelties did an amazing job on our wedding cupcakes. We had a celtic inspired wedding and Farozan made pretty edible celtic knots to go on our cupcakes along with red fondant flowers. They looked great!

Our guests did not even wait for us to cut the cutting cake on top, and started helping themselves to the cupcakes! They asked us if they could get more than one cupcake, and everybody loved the taste and flavor.

The cupcakes we got were vanilla with lemon filling and whipped cream and chocolate with raspberry filling and chocolate ganache - one word, yummy!

We got a pretty cupcake tower centerpiece for the wedding which complemented our candy buffet. Thanks for making a memorable dessert for our special day!

We got the MOST GORGEOUS wedding cake from Cupcake Novelties for our wedding!! It looked simply perfect and much more than what I had imagined!

We are big fans of chocolate and it is difficult to satisfy our sweet tooth but Cupcake Novelties did it!! The chocolate cupcakes were so yummy! We got the chocolate ganache (sp?) icing, the Oreo icing, the mint ganache and the peanut butter icing and 200 chocolate cupcakes!!! Our guests were on a chocolate overload! lol!!

Every flavor was yummy and delicious! I will be back for our kids birthdays and will recommend you to every person I know!

Cupcake Novelties did a beautiful wedding cake for us, along with pretty cake pops as wedding favors for our guests.

Farozan was so patient with us as we sorted through ideas. She helped us with suggesting decoration and worked with as a team. The tasting we had was so professional!

All the flavors at the tasting were very good. We chose salted caramel and chocolate strawberry and our guests hadn't had such flavors of cake at a wedding before!

The cake pops were decorated with a pretty flower that she handmade herself! Totally amazing! Very professional...highly recommend Cupcake Novelties to anyone looking for quality and affordability!

I loved the wedding cake and the cute bride and groom cake pops that you did as our wedding favors. They were a big hit with the guests! I got three different flavors for the wedding cake tiers, so thank you for being so accommodating!

Some flavors were not even on the menu, like amaretto raspberry, but Cupcake Novelties still made them for us. Really appreciate that. All the flavors tasted awesome too!

We got our wedding cupcakes, cutting cake and Bride and Groom cake pops for favors for our wedding.

Farozan from Cupcake Novelties gave us the lovely idea of converting our favors into place cards with our guests names on them, and she also personalized each cake pop with names and tags that coordinated with our wedding theme and colors! And they were SO delicious! A HUGE HIT!!

The cupcakes and cutting cake was absolutely wonderful as well! We got the Pina Colada flavor which was this yummy vanilla coconut cake with the best pineapple filling we'd ever had, and delicious coconut buttercream.

We also got the Chocolate Raspberry cupcakes, Lemon Strawberry cupcakes and Salted Caramel cupcakes. Each flavor was OUTSTANDING!

Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cupcake Novelties to everyone!! Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special!

Farozan from Cupcake Novelties in Winchester provided us with a beautiful Wedding Cupcake Tower that tasted delicious and looked beautiful.

It was unique in that the tower had vanilla cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes and CHEESECAKE CUPCAKES!!! Yes, miniature cheesecakes that tasted heavenly!! Farozan provided us with 4 different fruit toppings, all delicious made from scratch, that our guests could top on their individual cheesecake cupcakes. Such a big hit!!

We were very happy with how easy it was to communicate with Cupcake Novelties, and Farozan was ready to take up any challenge! She also decorated the cupcakes with frosting roses and fondant gerber daisies! Very pleased with her quality of work and delicious flavor!

Our wedding colors were blue, champagne and white. We asked for a 3 tier cake and chose blue cake with lemon curd filling, white chocolate ganache, and strawberry compote. We also asked for a groom's cake - classic blue Pontiac GTO yellow cake with pineapple and coconut fillings. She did an excellent job with the decorating of the cake and also the honey-dipped spoons we used for favors. All were delicious and we received many compliments from our guests! I would recommend Cupcake Novelties to any of my closest friends getting married! Farozan is a true professional to work with – she impressed my family during the cake tasting (I am active duty military stationed overseas so I relied on my sisters to do our cake tasting) and she did a great job assisting with the set up of my dessert table on my wedding day. Oh, did I mention that we communicated primarily via e-mail because of the time zone difference and she took my “vision” for my wedding cake and cake pops and made them a reality? Amazing. Also, and more importantly because I have such a sweet tooth, everything was scrumptious! I was really disappointed that all of the mocha espresso cake ran out before I got to try it but I did have the vanilla cake with coconut buttercream filling from the bottom tier of the cake and it was DELISH! Last but not least, they also offer a military discount which helped offset the travel costs for our Warrenton, VA wedding. All in all, Cupcake Novelties did a fantastic job on our wedding cake and cake pop favors

I'd like to preface by saying that Farozan is SO sweet and super easy to work with, which was very important to me considering I was planning my wedding from another state. She does great work and her cupcakes are PHENOMENAL. I am extremely picky about food and I've found that frosting is usually disgustingly sweet to me but hers was quite possibly the best I've ever had. There is such a diverse array of flavors to choose from so every palate is sure to be satisfied, and she is willing to work with you if you have a special request. I am beyond ecstatic with the product we received and would not hesitate to recommend Cupcake Novelties in the future. The only little remark I would make is that our cutting cake had a strain of pearls on it that we had changed our minds about and asked for just ruffles and a quatrefoil design. Also, we had some difficulties with email and completing payments through the mail but I just chalked that up to external forces. Regardless, I am SO happy with how everything turned out and highly recommend Farozan's delicious treats!

Farozan was great! Getting in touch with her via email was a bit of a problem, as I think neither of us received the other's emails sometimes, but her desserts were delicious and she was super flexible and accommodating. I wanted to do a dessert buffet with a variety of mini desserts to cater to different dietary needs, and she was incredible when it came to different flavor combinations and recipes for vegan and gluten free desserts, as well as non-vegan and gluten-filled desserts. I was very pleased with her services and would work with her again!

I was looking for an organic wedding cake (mission impossible), and she promised me before I signed the contract that she would be able to do so. After eating my wedding cake I have some doubts as to if she ended up using organic ingredients afterall. I had a lemon cake with lemon curd, which just tasted like cake with buttermilk frosting, I could not taste the lemon curd whatsoever. The appearance of the cake also didn't look that close to what we were planning but overall a good experience minus her not keeping up with my payments.

Overall I'm pleased with how everything turned out. The cupcakes anx cake were amazing and received so many compliments yesterday. Only problem during planning was the seller was out of town and difficult to get a hold of for about a month. Overall though the price for what we got was fantastic, definently recommend based on flavors alone!

We entered into an agreement with Cupcake Novelties with high hopes after reading wonderful reviews. We purchased cake pops for the rehearsal dinner and cupcakes with a cutting cake for the wedding. Deliveries for both were late. The cake pops were nearly 45 minutes late and the cupcakes arrived nearly an hour late, delaying the start of the ceremony. The unwillingness of the proprietor to acknowledge any problems on her end is discouraging. The desserts were delicious, no complaints there; however due to the frustration in dealing with this vendor due to late deliveries and in returning the tower to them after they moved farther away (which made it very difficult to return it while on our honeymoon!) I would not recommend this vendor.

We ordered a two tier top cake & 120 cupcakes for a cupcake tower. Closer to our wedding day, upon my checking in with the vendor, it appeared my order was being "tweaked" a bit-- color of icing was not as agreed upon due to apparent coloring issues, the requested decor of cupcakes & the cake were being changed: Our cake, I was told would be fondant, however my soon to be husband specifically requested no fondant. I sent several example photos of what I was hoping for, asking if the design was possible. I thought I had selected a relatively easy design: rosettes & an iced cake with simple design to avoid the fondant design. My order was not what I requested nor what I was told would be made/contracted for. The pictures of my cake are sad. What were supposed to be dainty rosettes on my cake looked like large snail shells; the top tier & the icing on the cupcakes was messily done. The cupcakes were not fully iced, the icing design was small & did not cover the cupcake. They did not look like the many advertised photos in this vendors portfolio.

Farozan, This review was the honest interpretation of our experience. The original invoice you emailed to us listed a due date of 'before or on delivery of product', so there was no intentional malice to create a "late payment" & you changed the due date a week before our wedding (I was out of town for work) & then tried to add on a fee to use a credit card (we wanted to utilize a credit card for the additional protections offered). WE NEVER DISCUSSED OR REQUESTED FONDANT. If you couldn't do the design I requested in buttercream, you should have communicated that up front. You are the one that sent the images of the hobnail & we went with them because we felt you were more comfortable w/ the hobnail design then my requested design & because I didn't want my cake to be a disaster-- I was trying to be accommodating. Your apple caramel cupcakes ARE delicious. Even if the drizzle was missing.

My experience involved an order of pirate-themed, decorated Oreo cookies. The seller did not provide shipment as promised. The seller refused to issue a refund and was very difficult to work with. Mine was obviously a small order. For readers here, though, I would think twice before doing business with this vendor.
