  Wow. Lynn of Cultivating Joy was truly the MVP of our wedding day. I really wanted to DIY my centerpieces, while still having a florist design bouquets, boutonnieres, flower crowns, etc. As such, I was struggling to find to find a florist. I was worried some might get the wrong impression of us or choose to work with another couple for whom they could design the whole floral experience. Finding Lynn was such a relief; she had the perfect disposition for us. I explained that I loved flowers but was no expert and was happy to put my trust in her to conceptualize the vision of our wedding and design something perfect with whatever flowers were in bloom in her gardens. I did not agonize over needing particular blooms and, during our consultation, Lynn did not put pressure on me to have done my homework or know more about flowers than I do. All I had to was tell her the the colors of our wedding and explain that I like wildflowers and big flowing bouquets (her signature style). She was also super helpful and provided a lot of pointers for designing our own centerpieces with the buckets of flowers we were able to purchase from her; I couldn't believe how lucky we were to find Lynn who was able to do it all for us.
  After our initial meeting, I had not a single doubt that Lynn would deliver, and I was finally as excited as I hoped I would be about our wedding florals. Sure enough, the DIY flowers were beautiful, and my bridesmaids and I will never forget the memories we made putting them together. The wedding party florals were the best I have ever seen--one of my girls remarked that it was the first bridesmaid bouquet she ever wanted to save. My bouquet brought tears to my eyes. The mantlepiece arrangement tied all of our decor together perfectly and was absolutely stunning. When I think of our wedding day, our flowers are mixed into every memory; working with Lynn was an absolute gift--beautiful flowers from a great person who truly puts heart and joy into her work.

  Lynn is an amazing grower, designer, and absolutely delightful to work with! She really helped me brainstorm about what I wanted in my flowers, and was such a great listener about the style and price range we wanted. Everything came out better than I could have pictured it, and we were so happy to have local and sustainably grown flowers at our wedding. She grows and uses some truly unique blooms and greenery in her work, so everything was one of a kind but still had the feel we were going for. My bouquet was beyond gorgeous, and we definitely had quite a few friends and family comment on how unique and beautiful the arrangements were. She also did delivery and setup in Philly for us for a reasonable price. Overall we had a great experience with Lynn and everything was so worth it!

Lynn's Cafe au Lait dahlias were too pretty for words mixed with unusual greens and additional touches. Lynn went to the church and walked around months before the wedding so she could decide on the size of the containers for each area. She used huge glass cylinders with gorgeous hydrangeas and other tall autumn greens/branches that gave the arrangements perfect height. I love doing my own arrangements at home so I can vouch that Cultivating Joy is Fantastic.

  Lynn from Cultivating Joy was such a pleasure to work with! From day one, she was incredibly kind and accommodating to our needs. I'm a very visual person, but I had little knowledge about flowers. When I told Lynn my vision, she simply told me that some of our flower choices wouldn't be possible for our June wedding, but she promised to make it work-- and she sure did! She even listened when I told her I wanted red poppies (one of my faves!) in my pastel palette-- something that usually wouldn't work but my bouquet was one of my favorite things about our day!
  We had mix and match centerpieces for our reception, and I basically told Lynn that she could place whatever flowers she thought would look good wherever she wanted to place them on the tables. I was BLOWN AWAY by the work she did on those tables-- absolutely stunning!
  I would highly recommend Cultivating Joy for any wedding. Lynn takes such care of her product and does the same to her clients. She grows her own products responsibly while meeting your needs and expectations-- and then some! We still get compliments about how beautiful our flowers were at our wedding, and I couldn't agree more!

  Lynn is absolutely delightful and incredibly flexible. She will go to any lengths to help you realize what you're looking for - even when you may not know it yourself. She also had no problem working with a budget. She is creative, talented, and incredibly positive. We also loved that she sources her flowers locally. Her commitment to sustainability was very important to us.
