BEST Caterer in Pensacola

I am not sure where to begin my review for Culinary Productions, the food or the service? I guess there is one common link between the two: Mike DeSorbo. I’ll start with the food. I knew we had met our caterer when we left our taste testing in Mike’s kitchen—everything he prepared was delicious. My daughter is a “foodie” and this catering decision was very important to her and her fiancé’. Mike suggested we do several food stations placed strategically at our venue and we ultimately decided on 4 delicious options. We settled on the menu 7 months before the wedding, but that didn’t stop Mike from telling us we could change it up to the wedding week. Culinary Productions did a phenomenal job on the food, I am still receiving compliments on the variety and quality of each station.
But coming in a close second to the food quality, and I mean very close, is Mike’s customer service. He would reach out to me just to check in, remind me of decisions from our last discussion or email, and offer to help in any way he could. On the wedding day Mike was on site working with other vendors to set up the tent in case some bad weather moved in on our reception. Mike wasn’t supposed to be at the venue at 9 am, but came down at the request of our planner and they all worked together to come up with the best plan, for the worst weather forecast. Mike brought 10 staff members to help for the reception and they were like busy bees, took care of EVERYTHING. They stayed until the very end and even helped load our cars.
For this mother of the bride, finding the right caterer was paramount. Hiring Mike @ Culinary Productions was one of the best decisions made for my daughter’s wedding. I have never hired a wedding reception caterer, but I have tasted my fair share of catered food. There is NO ONE better than Mike and his team at Culinary Productions.

Food was delicious!

Mike and his team are amazing. We booked them for our wedding at Supposey and the food was amazing! The prime rib and the salmon was cooked perfectly; everyone enjoyed their food. We had guests complimented how great the food was, even down to the salad dressing. Thank you so much for taking care of us and making our wedding day special!

Absolutely amazing

I was absolutely blown away by CPI and their crew. Mike was the individual we worked with and he was amazing and professional. They showed up to our venue at 9 am and set up all tables and chairs. After the ceremony and end of the night, they even cleaned up the venue. The food was amazing and they even brought food to the bridal suite during cocktail hour. They made our day perfect and I would recommend them to anyone!

Creel wedding day 11/11/2023

Where do I start? My daughter contacted Culinary Productions and together they came up with a menu, complete with hors d’oeuvres and desserts! The food was delicious, the service was exemplary, and the staff were courteous and professional. Recommend 10/10!!! Many thanks!

All I wanted!

I wanted ALL the food. I also haa one sister who is pescaterian and one who is allergic to sea food. I spoke with the owner, and he suggested sending a wish list, then he could help narrow it down by similar flavors, or sending me a couple sample menue. In the end, I got 3 entreas, a meat, a fish and chicken, plus desert for a great price. There wasn't much left over, but they packet it up and sent it home with us. I love how the seafood pasta had a couple sauces to choose from, and so did each protein. The food was delicious and all the staff was amazing!

Amazing Service

Mike and his team did an amazing job with catering our reception. His easy going personality and great customer service is what every bride needs! We reached out to them over a year in advance to cater our 65 person reception. From the beginning, they were extremely responsive and flexible. Our guests raved about the food and appetizers. The coconut shrimp and chicken and waffles were a hit. The staff also did an amazing job on-site making sure everything went smoothly. I’d highly recommend them for any catering needs.

Absolute BEST tasting food!

We had chicken, pork tenderloin with au jus, garlic mash potatoes, gravy, salad with all the toppings, dinner rolls, horseradish sauce, and green beans! EVERYTHING was AMAZING! I saw people getting seconds and SO many people complimented how wonderful the dinner tasted. Gravy was actually not needed because potatoes were so awesome! I can’t even explain how yummy both meats tasted! My friend from New York said she never had such good food at a wedding like this! Staff was very professional and super friendly! He was so easy to work with and very responsive! He gets 10 stars!! THANK YOU so much because the food is and was very important to us!! He has Instagram account that has pictures of his delish food from wedding.

Fantastic food and service

We are SO thankful for Mike and his team. We had multiple guests tell us that this was the best wedding food they had ever had! Everything was so delicious and the service was top-notch. Working with Mike was so easy and we really appreciated how communicative and flexible he was with us throughout the entire planning process. We had some specific menu restrictions (no meat and no shellfish) which Mike handled with no problem at all and created a wonderful custom menu for us. His staff was so kind and helpful to us all night long. We can't recommend Culinary Productions Inc highly enough. Thanks Mike & team!

Fantastic food

Great Food and Great Care

We hired Culinary Productions for our August wedding, and Mike worked closely with me (bride) to narrow down a menu. We had a few appetizers for cocktail hour and did the pasta bar with a few extra sides. Everything was really good, and there was plenty of food for everyone. One thing I will not forget is how the staff continually checked up on us (bride and groom) to see how we're doing or if we needed anything to eat since we were busy doing pictures. They seemed to take notice of how overwhelmed we may have been with it all and tried to do their best to alleviate anything they could, which I truly appreciated.

Best Food Ever!

I cannot recommend Culinary Productions enough! Mike & his team were so awesome. The food was delicious, there was such a variety to select from, plus he made our entire dinner gluten free (I’m allergic)!!!!! Talk about top tier service. All the guests loved the food. Plus - the team was truly amazing on the wedding day. Everyone was so sweet & they even boxed up my leftovers at the end of the night!! I highly recommend culinary productions!!

Delicious!!!!

We had Culinary Productions cater our wedding and it was amazing!! All of our guests complimented us on our food all night! They were so incredibly kind to work with making sure my husband and I had enough food and some to take home! They even set up a customized menu for us which was perfect! We’re from Michigan so planning an out of state wedding we thought would be a challenge, but they made it so easy for us and we’re so happy we went with them!

Delicious food, exceptional organization, and all around good people

We loved working with Mike and the Culinary Productions team for our wedding. They have a diverse menu and worked with us to create some off menu options as well (assorted empanadas!). They were very accommodating for our guests with dietary restrictions and allergies. In a world where unanswered emails are becoming the norm, Mike and his team are refreshingly prompt and so well organized. We rented linens, chargers, and upgraded glassware through CP, which saved us from having to track down another vendor and the additional expense. Mike went above and beyond and even tracked down a specific type of water glass I wanted from a different county. Their fees are very reasonable especially given the quality of food and service. Adrienne was in charge of our wedding day, and she went out of her way to check on me (the bride) to ensure I was taken care of and fed. 10/10 would recommend!

Great communication, food and service!

Tastes to remember!

Mike and his team at Culinary Productions were exceptionally amazing to work with! They took care of us through a long year of pre booking. Mike’s menu he created for our special day was absolutely tasteful and personalized. The prime rib with horseradish sauce, along with the stuffed mushrooms and shrimp and grit cups were a hit! If we had to do it all over again, hands down- Mike and his team would be our catering choice. We are forever grateful and thankful they could be apart of our special day.

Mike was great to work with. Their menuss were easy to chose from. They were very easy to work with in terms of accommodating any dietary restrictions of guests. Communication was great, Mike was very easy to get ahold of.

The food was delicious and affordable. The crab cakes especially were fantastic!! The service was great, they set up buffet style. They even packed up our left over food so we could take it home after the wedding.

Great experience

Mike and his team were so flexible as we postponed our wedding and then made some changes to the menu. The food was delicious—especially those parmesan beignets! And the catering staff was great. The bartender even walked around during dinner to make sure our guests were taken care of. Overall, a great experience!

Amazing Food and Service

Mike and his team are amongst the best of the best when it comes to service and food. The food was great. People are still raving over the food. The food was tip notch but what took me over the top was the attention that his team provided to my guests and my 6 yr old. Best caterers ever!!

We hired Culinary Productions to cater our wedding, and they were so amazing to work with. They reassured me throughout the entire process and I always received a very quick response to any questions I had!! Day of, they set aside food to make sure my husband and I had time to eat, and even packed up a basket of food and goodies for us to take home afterwards which was so thoughtful and sweet. They helped set up and breakdown our entire wedding, which really went above and beyond our expectations. Both of our families absolutely loved them and I really enjoyed working with them. Perfection.

The people with this company are amazing. They went above and beyond and making sure my wedding was everything I could have asked for. Adrienne was awesome. She came in and took control of everything. (In the best way) They helped switch our venue from the ceremony into the reception. They brought extra cheese and crackers. Adrienne left to get extra cups. They helped with cake cutting. They helped set up our tables. The food was great too. We had chicken and waffles, mac and cheese bar, and a grits bar. It was a huge hit & everyone was raving about the food after. They were even so kind to pack me and my husband a go bag with extra food. I 100% recommend this company to everyone.

Outstanding in every way!

Mike and his staff at Culinary Productions were absolutely wonderful to work with! The food was amazing! He worked with our budget and super flexible with the whole setting up for the wedding. His staff made our guests feel very comfortable (and safe with the whole Covid factor). He did some little extra touches that I didn't even request that made things just a little bit special. Perfection!!!

I cannot speak highly enough of Mike, Adrainne, Omar ( for making sure the entire wedding party got the appetizers during photgraphy time) and the entire Culinary Productions staff. The menu offerings has something for everyone. Even better, if you have a favorite dish they will happily incorporate that into your menu for your special event. The meal was delicious, the staff make you feel like family and their knowledge and assistance for event planning vast. We had a budget to stick to, but liked some many of the food samples we tasted. Mike suggested we spilt the amount of each dish in two. This way we had double the food choices to offer our guests without doubling the cost. There was plenty of food for all. CP also offers many "extras" at no additional costs that other caterers charged for; such as travelling to the venue, setup, cake cutting, and making a Bride & Groom basket for later. If you are looking for a caterer to make your event speical look no further than Culinary Productions!!!!!!!!!

Outstanding quality

Adriene went above and beyond with customer service. It rained the entire day of my daughter's wedding. We had planned for a more bar outside. We assumed this was just not happening. When we walked into the reception and realized that Adriene had set up the smore bar inside (she went out on her own and bought sterno cans for guests to do their marshmallows.) we were beyond thrilled. Then we tasted the food, and it was fabulous. Many of our guests were from the restaurant business and could not say enough good things about the food and service. If you are in need of catering this place is hands down the best!

Amazing Caterer - awesome food

We met with Mike D at Culinary Productions to cater our daughter's wedding. From the moment we met him, we knew we were in the right place. He is professional, knowledgeable, helpful and serves great food. He helped us plan the right variety of food for everyone's taste and also accommodated for those with dietary restrictions and allergies. He kept us calm in the planning stages and on the wedding day. He and his staff even pitched in to help with the last minute set up in the hall so that everything would be perfect. All the guests raved about the delicious food and variety! All the appetizers from fruit to chicken & waffles were perfect for a morning wedding and the buffet was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely recommend him and his staff!

Taco Bout A Wedding To Remember

My husband and I really wanted our wedding to truly reflect us. We both love fish tacos and when we saw that Mike offered a Taco Bar option we were honestly so excited. Mike made the whole process from the beginning so easy; he was always available by email or phone to answer any questions I may have. Our guests continue to talk about how awesome our wedding food was. It truly was a wedding to remember thanks to Mike and his lovely staff. We also booked our bartender through Culinary and he did not disappoint.

Amazing food, Amazing service

Mike and his crew were so easy to work with . Mike made sure that reception menu was just what we wanted and also worked with us on different options that we could explore to help us stay within budget. He was not shy talking about budget and was very transparent when it came to pricing; no hidden fee's or pop up expenses. But the best part? THE FOOD!!! Omg, the food was soo good! I still have people talking about how good the food was even months after the wedding. Large or small, they can knock your event menu out of the park!

Exceptional Service Team!

We hired Culinary Productions Inc. for our wedding caterer. Mike and all of his staff were exceptional! We are still receiving so many compliments on how amazing all of the food and service was! Mike truly understood exactly what we wanted and delivered more than our expectations! All of the staff went above and beyond to help set up and even transition our ceremony inside due to last minute rain. All of the staff made sure my husband and I were enjoying ourselves and had everything we needed and constantly checked on us all night long. They made sure we were able to get all of our food during the event and even packed a a to-go box for afterwards. Every single member of Mike's staff was exceptionally pleasant, helpful, and catering to us all night long! We couldn't have asked for a better caterer than Culinary Productions Inc. Not only was our food amazing our wedding was truly wonderful and smooth because of them!

Absolutely delicious and incredibly professional

Mike was incredible to work with! We threw a number of curveballs at him given different palates, dietary restrictions, and a multi-cultural menu. The team worked seamlessly with an Indian restaurant and their team. The food was incredible and I feel everything was fairly priced for the quality and service!

Stop right now and look no further for your caterer. I cannot express how great this company was. From the beginning of wedding planning until the day of the wedding, Culinary Productions exceeded my expectations. They were always so quick to respond to my emails, answered all of my questions and even asked me questions I didn't think to ask myself. The day of the wedding, I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help serve and bar tend. I didn't get to talk with them much but I received so many compliments on how awesome they were! At one point in the night someone had broken a glass on the dance floor, and in less than a minute they were there to clean it up with smiles on their face and even some cool dance moves!! We went with the BBQ menu, and it was phenomenal and reasonably priced! At the end of the night they packed up all the food, made my husband and I a plate then put the rest in the refrigerator. I cannot say enough good things about this company, and I am so pleased that I chose them for our special day! You won't be disappointed :)

Culinary Productions is the absolute best. Not once did I worry about the food or service I would receive while working with them. Their pricing is great for what they offer and no other caterers I met with even compared. Their food is DELICIOUS!! I am still hearing from guests how great it was. They can do absolutely anything you want. They are also extremely responsive. Dalise returned every email and call within a few hours of not immediately. The week of can be a little stressful but Culinary Productions eased every worry by assuring me that they were here to help with any last minute things and they came through with that promise! I’d recommend them to anyone and everyone!! Food amazing. People amazing. Price amazing. Serive amazing.

Future brides and especially DESTINATION brides: look no further for your caterer. Dalise and Mike with CP Inc were an amazing duo to have on my big day. From our first meeting, Mike and Dalise made us feel comfortable. Other caterers had made our meetings and tastings so formal and uncomfortable (and expensive!!). With Mike, I just told him what I had in mind and he had excellent suggestions to really make my dream come true. Are you interested in a mashed potato bar? Or a mac n cheese bar? No problem! Mike made it happen and didn't up-charge for extra toppings!! You won't find another caterer that does that. The food on the day of was just as delicious as it was when we did our tasting. Mike and Dalise also coordinated our table and chair rental. They were kind enough to come early to set up our centerpieces which took a lot of stress off us. Not only did my guests comment on how good the food was, but also how personable Mike's staff members were. Guests said the staff genuinely wanted them to have a great time!!
But really, the show doesn't run without Dalise! I sent so many emails to Dalise and she ALWAYS responded SO quickly. It was amazing! Even the day before the wedding, I was still emailing her with questions and getting prompt answers in return.
I am so thankful for CP Inc and all of the hard work they did on our big day. I would absolutely recommend future brides to book with Culinary Productions Inc. Don't waste time looking elsewhere.

Dalise and Mike were a dream team! I know there was many on their team, but they are who I worked with. They were so accommodating to my Taco theme! The food was so delicious! Even my new father-in-law (who doesn't like anything) said it was amazing! I give them 5 stars all around!!!

We are so very happy we went with CPI for our wedding catering!!! The food was absolutely delicious, and they were so great to work with throughout the planning process. From the first phone call with Mike, we were seriously impressed with the professionalism and customer service they offered. Dalise was extremely responsive over email about every detail or question I asked, which was so appreciated since we were planning the wedding from afar. They offered to help with lighting the candles, setting out our dessert trays of donuts (which were ordered elsewhere), arranging the napkins and other linens, and so many other things. We also used their bartending staff, and they were great!! They made sure everyone was having a great time, and they kept up the energy. The catering staff present at our wedding were amazing. They checked in with me and my husband often to make sure we were taken care of, and at the end of the night, we were given a literal basket of extra food for later, plus a bottle of champagne. They were a huge reason our reception turned out so nicely, and we can't thank them or recommend them enough!! They could easily get away with charging a lot more for their services, but they are reasonably priced and worth every penny, and more!! THANK YOU, CPI!

We used Culinary Productions Inc. to cater our wedding. Mike and his crew were fabulous from beginning to end! When I first met with Mike, he was friendly, laid back and willing to create the perfect menu within our budget and dietary needs. The food was absolutely delicious. I had many weddings guests tell me they went back for seconds and that it was some of the best food they've had at a wedding. I very highly recommend CPI for any of your catering needs. I will definitely be using Mike and his team again in the future.

So glad we went with CPI to cater our wedding. Not only were their prices extremely reasonable but the quality of food was outstanding and their service was top notch. We made several changes to what we wanted to serve our guests as well as to items we were renting (tables, chairs, etc) and Dalise was incredibly patient and kind to us every step of the way. The wait staff was professional and extremely courteous. My new husband and I were both very impressed with them all around.

When starting my wedding planning I was absolutely dreading selecting food and all the details that came with it. The task soon became my favorite part after finding Culinary Productions! Our first meeting with Mike was great. We built a menu that fit our budget and style of our wedding. My husband and I were able to bring three guests to our tasting which was fabulous! Dalise was absolutely amazing and great about reminding me of small details I would never have thought of and she was extremely fast at returning my emails...and there were many! Our wedding set-up was perfect and exactly how we discussed. The team was so fast and efficient I hardly knew they were there. We had waiters that served appetizers and even cleared the tables. The food was both hot and delicious and our guests absolutely LOVED it! At the end of the night we also got a lovely wedding basket full of food that we got to take on our honeymoon!

The words that come to mind when thinking about Culinary Productions are "wow", "amazing", "incredible"...the list goes on and on. When we met with Mike a year prior to our wedding date we knew right away this was the company we wanted to hire for our wedding. Mike was professional, easy to work with, easy to talk to, and he knows his stuff. He helped us put together a tentative menu and offered suggestions. Throughout the time leading up to our wedding we made several changes to our menu, number of guests, etc. and his staff was so helpful, accommodating, and understanding. They get back to you right away and answer all of your questions. It was so easy to keep in contact with them, we never had to worry about a thing. The day of our wedding Mike and his staff went above and beyond for us and our guests to make sure that everyone was well taken care of. It was like they were all part of the family. They were always there making sure everyone had enough food, messes were cleaned up, food and drinks were stocked, and they even helped clean me up when I got cake smashed in my face :) . They were absolutely superb. Our families raved about Culinary Productions days after the wedding. Everyone loved the food and the service and kept commenting on how helpful all of the staff was. Mike and his team really impressed and we are so glad we chose them to be a part of our wedding day. We would highly recommend Culinary Productions to anyone looking for the whole 9 yards with great quality food and service!

I would not hesitate in contacting Culinary Productions. They are the very best!!!. The food was fantastic and service was spot on. Even their price was most reasonable, for all they gave me. Having never caterered an affair, Dalise guided me through the entire process, with great selections. She even answered the phone and returned calls, right away. You do not get that with all the caterers and having a good contact person, is important to me. She checked in with me all along and made great suggestions. They catered my rehearsal dinner of about 50-55, and it could not have gone any better. They saved the day for me. I should have used their bartender. My huge mistake. With my bartender never showing up and no ice or containers to cool the beer and wine, Mike and his staff stepped right in, never missing a beat, to get a bar going for the guests. I can not figure out how they did that, and where they magically got all the ice and items needed for a bar.
The most important thing, the food was outstanding!!! It was so fresh. It could not have set out any time, before they served it. Everyone raved about it. The pasta with several sauces and the herb dusted chicken, was to die for ,and the deserts were heavenly . Have not had a good cannoli since moving here 5 years ago, and Mikes were great. The entire affair could not have gone any better or smoothly, even with the obstacles I threw in the way. I had nothing to worry about and was able to settle in and enjoy all the good company. The staff was so very polite and I could tell they wanted it to go well and seemed to really care about every detail. They were so very polite to all guests, and even the clean up at the end went well. We never felt rushed. They were so efficient in their job. I could go on and on, but bottom line is, i would never ever use anyone else in the future and will be recommending them to everyone. Mikes food and staff is top notch.

Both Mike and Dalise were so wonderful to work with! Mike helped my daughter and her fiance' decide on a menu (they have a large selection to choose from) that fit our budget. They were very responsive and professional, and the food was delicious! The staff was very accommodating and kind during the reception, and they did a great job cleaning up at the end of the evening. A wonderful bonus: CPI made sure to send the bride and groom with a bridal basket of food at the end of the evening, as well as bagging up all leftovers for us to take home!

Mike D and his crew was absolutely amazing! We met with Mike D, the owner, on our first appointment. He really listened to us and had a lot of great ideas to add. We decided to use Culinary Productions not only because the food was delicious but because of Mike D's customer service. He really listened to us and we ended up with an amazing menu that everyone loved. We decided to do a late night café, (sliders, chicken and waffles, and pizza were served around 1030pm) in addition to the dinner. This was a huge hit with all the guests. Mike D was able incorporate venison and some thai/curry sauces. All the guests loved the food and so did we!

Culinary Productions definitely surpassed our expectations for our wedding reception this past weekend! Mike was a pleasure to work with to set up the menu and Dalise was beyond amazing! Dalise was ALWAYS available and eager to assist! We couldn't have had such a successful event without her help! The staff that worked the wedding reception was personable, professional, and very helpful and considerate! Culinary Productions was fantastic. Amazing to myself, husband and guests during on our wedding day. They returned all emails quickly, and helped with and and everything we needed! The appetizers (bacon wrapped shrimp, sweet and sour meatballs and chicken and waffle skewers) were a huge hit at our reception. On the day of, the staff were so great and friendly. The staff were very on top of things and very helpful. I would very highly recommend Culinary Production for any event. They are also very reasonably priced compared to others. I cannot stress enough how helpful and friendly the staff was from beginning to end.

Every person in the staff is kind and helpful, from the servers to the owner Mike! On our wedding day everything went on without a flaw!! They even put two plates of everything we served in my husbands car for us to have at the hotel after the wedding!!

Culinary Productions were easy and very accommodating to talk with about what our daughter wanted at her reception, they handled most all of the reception set up, chairs, tables, etc.... they also handled the clean up. Our reception was at 511 Palafox in Pensacola.
The food was fantastic, we had a Mexican buffet, salad, plus a slider with potatoes station, wonderful desserts, the whole planning process with them was easy from the first meeting. The night of the wedding they were ready when the reception started, the staff was friendly, helpful and professional to all our guest. The layout of everything they set up made the reception perfect! The whole process with them was hassle-free and that is what you need when planning a wedding.

Choosing culinary productions as our caterers had to be one of the best decisions through the wedding process. They made things so easy from the start with the tastings to after the reception clean up! Mike and Deona were so great to work with during the planning and thought of everything to make sure there were no loose strings. Their staff was extremely accommodating and sweet. My aunt couldn't thank one of the caterers enough for making my husbands grandmother (who has MS) feel so welcome and comfortable during an outdoor wedding. Any time of the wedding - the staff made sure I was comfortable and had a drink in hand! Everyone raved about the food and kept asking who were our caterers... Mike and Staff, you guys are THE BEST!

I am very pleased with culinary productions! The food was great and the staff were very responsive. They were always very prompt at answering every little email I sent no matter how small of issue. From planning to execution, this team is fantastic! They worked with us throughout the entire process and helped make the wedding reception something to remember. The reception is over, the thank you cards sent, the comments from the guests were raving about the food and staff. We had a few guests who were running late, the staff made up extra plates for them and presented them as soon as the guests were seated. This was above and beyond what we expected. The guests were extremely grateful. So were we! We didn't have anything to worry about during the reception. We were able to socialize with the guests and have a wonderful time.

Mike and his team were absolutely amazing! Deona and his staff were incredibly responsive and so wonderful to work with. Detail oriented, and so on top of everything I knew I was in great hands and the catering aspect of our three day wedding weekend would totally be taken care of. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible, and went the extra mile with lending us supplies for the weekend, and making snacks/packing a cooler for the wedding party to take on the trolley after the ceremony. CPI catered my daughter's wedding on April 30, 2016. Mike DeSorbo, Deona, Dalise and the rest of the staff were so easy to work with and made this nervous mom feel very much at ease! My daughter and her husband wanted various stations (Mac and Cheese Bar, Slider Bar, roasted veggies and salad bar) as well as pass arounds (Chicken and Waffle skewers and assorted Deviled Eggs). The food was delicious and a huge hit! I heard compliment after compliment from our guests! Our out of town guests were quite amazed at how tasty the combination of chicken and waffles could be--perfectly done! The staff was very professional, but warm and friendly as well and were attentive to everyone's needs. They made sure that the bride and groom were served plates including appetizers and also packed an adorable box of goodies for my daughter and son-in-law to take with them after the reception! I highly recommend them for anyone needing a caterer. I will not hesitate to call them again! Thank you all so very much for everything!

I cannot sing enough praise for the Culinary Productions team. Throughout the whole process they were incredibly responsive and flexible, which was helpful when planning a wedding from Germany and absolutely key when in the week before the wedding a death in the family caused some changes in guest count. They were nothing but supportive, understanding and flexible. They made a special appetizer that we requested, and it was fantastic. They had plates made for us at the wedding so unlike many other couples, we actually got to enjoy the food. It was SO DELICIOUS. We looked at a lot of caterers and I don't think we could have found better value. You won't be disappointed!

Thank you for such a great experience! The food at my wedding was amazing and got a lot of compliments from my guests. Hiring Culinary Productions to cater your wedding will be one of the best decisions you can make for your big day. They catered my wedding reception at 511 Palafox and I can't say enough good things about them. All of the staff was wonderful to work with and I was so happy with the job they did. Lots of things went wrong with my wedding planning including having to fire my photographer before the wedding and my flowers being canceled the day before the wedding but I never had to worry for a moment about Mike or his team getting the job done. When you have so much to plan it is nice to be able to count on your caterer to do their job and do it well. In fact, I think they went above and beyond what we paid for. When I just mentioned to one of their staff members that I tried to build a giant Jenga set but it wasn't turning out that well they put me in contact with a business that had a set that let us borrow it for our reception just because they knew CPI was our caterer. They also made our wedding cake when every other company told me it couldn't be done. Our crepe cakes were absolutely amazing and delicious and very fairly priced. Because you can't freeze a crepe cake to eat on your one year anniversary CPI offered to make us a cake on our one year anniversary. That day is coming up soon and my husband and I kept saying we really needed to call and schedule that but things were hectic and we never got around to it. But of course CPI is so freaking unbelievably amazing THEY called US today to ask if we still wanted our cake made. I don't know many companies that are so on the ball that they remember to call clients an entire year later to fulfill, what is for them, a very small order, but to us, means a lot. Thank you CPI for a memorable reception, an anniversary crepe cake and being calm, caring and helpful in the face of my canceled flower emergency.

This vendor was fabulous! From the moment we met Mike DeSorbo we knew that we wanted his company to cater our daughter's Wedding. He worked with us personally to ensure that every detail was taken care of. He went above and beyond to meet with us when it was convenient to our schedules. The taste testing that he set up gave us the opportunity to make any adjustments to the final menu (not that there were many as everything was phenomenal). We would recommend this company to anyone and everyone (and will certainly be using them again ourselves in the future). Just cannot say enough about the professionalism of each staff member on Mike's crew and how everything was just beautiful in presentation as well as taste. We have had so many of our guests ask about the catering (especially the cheesecake) as Mike's crew provided several dessert options for us - apple pie, pumpkin pie, cheesecake, peach cobbler - and we tell them loud and clear - use Culinary Productions...you will not be disappointed!!

We cannot recommend Culinary Productions enough. In fact, as far as we’re concerned - if your venue does not allow outside catering, then that is not the venue for you because you NEED to work with Culinary Productions! Mike and Deona were fantastic to work with - incredibly responsive, adaptable, and creative in their solutions, and generous with their time. Considering we had never planned a wedding before, we heavily relied on their input and recommendations when it came to space planning for the site and other logistical things. And - the food is incredible! We had a BBQ themed wedding and it was the best darn BBQ we had ever had. Choosing Culinary Productions as your caterer will be the easiest decision you will make when planning your event.

Mike and his team at Culinary Productions are absolutely wonderful. We met with Mike after meeting with several other caterers in the area, and he was a breath of fresh air. We described what kind of food we had in mind, and he provided exactly that. Several other places tried to push us in the direction of fancy foods they had on their menu, but not Mike. He was willing to make exactly what we wanted. We had a delicious assortment of foods set up at food stations. We had a delicious nacho bar with a selection of beef, chicken, and fish with tons of toppings, chicken tenders and fries, fresh fruits and veggies, and a sliders station. He set up a cooking station in the courtyard of our reception venue and made the sliders fresh right on the spot. He also fried the chicken fingers and the fries out there too so nothing was soggy and cold. we had passed appetizers to hold the guests over until we finished taking photos, and they were a huge hit! There were mac and cheese shooters and hogs in a blanket. Mike let us do a taste test of the food as well which was really nice. We knew our food was going to be wonderful and he definitely did not disappoint. He was also really easy to work with and get in touch with. His secretary is very responsive and answered my millions of questions. I cannot say enough good things about Culinary Productions! His prices are also PHENOMENAL for the amount and quality of food you get.

I am not sure if there is a better caterer out there. Mike & Deona truly went above and beyond! They were quick to respond to all my emails and always kept me in the loop with anything that was going on leading up to the big day (Which is a huge deal when planning a destination wedding). Deona was always in touch with me helping me decide on anything from napkins to even helping me plan out the timeline for my big day. I decided to have a shrimp boil and it was DELICIOUS & the SHRIMP were HUGE!!! The staff was very helpful that night as well. I would highly recommend using Culinary Productions as your cater! They were wonderful. :)

Culinary Productions, Inc goes above and beyond on all levels of professionalism, service, quality of food and work ethic. The leadership and staff are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. This past Saturday [August 22nd, 2015], CPI provided full catering services for the wounded warrior banquet at the Pensacola Beach Elks Lodge for America's Heroes Enjoying Recreation Outdoors [AHEROusa.com]. After ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and presentation were completed, the CPI staff conducted flawless customer service through hor d'oeuvres presentation, and on-going Q&A with the event participants throughout the event and of course the post event thorough clean-up operation. All of our service members, Veterans and Elks members were extremely impressed with this company. To cap off their contribution... the owner of CPI donated the entire evening to AHERO. Unbelievable.

I cant even begin to say how easy it was to work with the CPI staff. Everyone was so professional and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had which was important to us as we planned 90% of our wedding ourselves. Deona was a dream to work with from the coordination side and assisted us with whatever we needed as the point of contact for the office. Mike was great as we planned, re-planned, and changed our menu repeatedly and was there the day of to make sure everything came out the way it should (it did!) - he was willing to work with us any way he could to make sure our day was great. Highly recommend!!

Mike (and Deona) at Culinary Productions were a wonderful and stress free experience for our wedding! The food was delicious again (I had experienced their food at another friend's wedding first), and it was affordable too! Their communication was great throughout the whole process, from setting up an initial meeting, to a tasting appointment, to finalizing numbers, floor plan, and timing of service. We weren't expecting to get to eat at our own wedding, but the staff made sure we were given plates to eat, while everyone else was in line for food. We also had a "bridal basket" to take back to the hotel room with us that night, and we ate most of it right away! Definitely a good value for your time and money, and we highly recommend Culinary Productions!!!

I highly recommend Culinary Productions to anyone who is planning a wedding in the Pensacola area. They were amazing to work with. Mike never once put his nose in the air about any of my ideas, budget, timelines, specifications, ocd, etc. :-) He has numerous options and packages available that make it impossible not to make your needs met as far as wedding catering goes. He is also so affordable that on a very small budget we were able to adjust everthing to be able to have all the meal options we wanted, waitstaff, a bartender, and they also clean up everthing and provide everthing on top of that. His team whisked in, prepared and plated everything (silverware and dishes also provided), served everything, and I did not have to do a single thing except thank him repeatedly. After that, he was gone with a whisk and so was the mess. Schedule a tasting with them. Their food is also amazing, and everthing is presented in such a gourmet manner. You will not regret using this company for your wedding catering.

I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I had with CPI. From the first moment I contacted them, through booking, tasting, and in the months leading up to my wedding, I experienced such incredible customer service.

Our wedding night was an absolute dream - the staff was friendly. The food was even better than I expected it would be - incredible, really - fresh, flavorful and beautifully displayed. AND my husband and I were incredibly thankful to have the tray of food sent with us - we were starving when we got to the Honeymoon Suite! Everything packaged separately - including sauces for the chicken! - made for a nice late night snack.

My guests complimented the staff and food to me many, many times! I am thoroughly pleased with everything and couldn't have asked for anything more than what I received!

Culinary Productions did an amazing job catering my reception. They were extremely easy to work with. I had several people at the reception tell me that the food was the best wedding reception food they'd ever had. They were very reasonably priced. They actually rented chairs and tables for us, set up the reception, and cleaned up afterwards. They did an amazing job and the reception was set up wonderfully. I would definitely recommend Culinary Productions to anyone looking for a catering service.

You know how wedding food is usually terrible? Not ours. Our food was delicious! Everyone who attending the wedding bragged on how good everything was!

Culinary Productions was so accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect. I had visited with other caterers in town and they were rude about my $3K budget for catering but CP made it work!

The servers were amazing and very attentive. They seemed happy to be there and that made the night go well. I had special requests that they were very attentive too (like no beer bottles) and when they ran out of glasses the bartender found me to make sure it was okay to hand out beer bottles. I was very impressed with how much they respected my wishes.

They set up the tables just as requested. It was absolutely beautiful.

Mike DeSorbo and the Culinary Productions team made our wedding day a dream come true! Every staff member was truly helpful every moment of the evening and the food was raved about from all our guests. The tasting prior to the event was wonderful, and the food the day of the rehearsal and reception far exceeded our expectations. The crew that we had working our wedding and reception went above and beyond accommodating and being flexible with last minute changes. It really made the difference between what WAS an awesome evening and what could have been just overly stressful. We would recommend Mike D and his crew to anyone we will also look forward to sharing another event if we are ever in Pensacola again. For sure!!!

Mike and his staff are awesome! I picked Culinary Productions because I read other reviews that said they go above and beyond to help in any way they can, setting things up and making sure things go smoothly the day of the wedding. That was really important to me since I decided to forego the expense of a wedding coordinator. Culinary Productions exceeded my expectations. Everything was executed perfectly and the food was great. In addition to catering, they provided bartending and stocked the bar and that was well done also. I would absolutely recommend Culinary Productions to anyone looking for a caterer for any type of event. The food and quality of service were excellent and the price was very reasonable.

EXCELLENT! Everything Mike D and his crew did was perfect! Quality over quantity is their goal even though they are extremely busy as you can tell if you receive their newsletter. Food was excellent and the price was far better than we expected. Mike is great and his staff members are very helpful. I highly recommend CPI ! Mike was able to cook up special items I requested for my wedding and was super flexible. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was amazing too. They really made a huge contribution to making it an amazing wedding for us. Wedding planning was so stressful and it seemed like a weight was taken off my shoulders every time I met with them. I wish them a lot of success - they definitely deserve it!

Customer service : Mike and his team were more than great, they were extremely nice and very helpful in planning a wedding over the phone. They were extremely accommodating to our requests and how we wanted to food served, specifically we wanted a served salad and then a regular buffet, which they made happen in great style. We had a very odd request/gift from a friend, we were gifted a pound of black truffles, which this guest wanted to send them to the caterer ahead of time and add them in to the dish. Not only did Mike and his team make this request happen, but it tasted delicious and we will never forget it.
Food service : Everything was full, guests never went empty and people came back for 3rds.
Set up / break down : the team was there early to help out with setting up any plates, table clothes, folding napkins or any help that we needed, it was much appreciated.

Food : the herb dusted beef tender loin was to die for, it was just absolutely amazing, especially with black truffles all over them. All of our sides were great as well!
My only criticism was the chicken, which was a little dry and bland, but I believe that when someone compares the ever so flavorful beef with anything, it might seem a little bland.
Over all Culinary Productions was great, I would work with them again in a heart beat, ...maybe when we renew our vows :)
