We hired Chef Heyward and his team for our son’s rehearsal dinner hosted at the Compass Rose in Valparaiso. We were impressed with every step of the process. His team was very responsive as we chose the menu and decided on all of the details. Planning an out of town event is not easy, and Culinary Catering made it seamless. The food and presentation were amazing. We decided on a shrimp boil served catering style. It was the perfect elevated casual event. The guests raved about the food and professionalism of all involved. Thank you for making our event memorable in the best possible way!

Stellar Food & Service

We hired Culinary Catering 365 for our daughter’s recent wedding based off the reviews alone. Our guests arrived from all over the country and the one common conversation was the love of the food. We chose a buffet dinner for a more casual affair. However, the food was far from casual. It was elevated and elegant. The tropical fruit and International cheese displays were perfect and beautiful in presentation. The shrimp were perfectly peeled, deveined, and divinely seasoned. The crab cakes, Oh, the crab cakes. A bold amount of crab, with little filler, and a dollop of spicy remoulade set them apart from all others. Double your order, as this was the first dish with no leftovers. We selected the beef tenderloin carving station which was impressive alone. The beef was the picture of perfection with a beautiful outer crust and a tender, pink center. It was magnificent and a highlight for all our guests. The smashed potato bar was an enormous hit with adults and children alike, especially with all the accouterments provided. The grilled vegetable display of broccolini, colorful cauliflower, and asparagus were roasted to a lovely al dente. The pork sliders were very tasty and the chicken skewers were tender and flavorful.
Chef Heyward and his team were efficient in set up and clean up. A finely tuned machine that worked harmoniously between serving cocktail hour apps of chicken quesadillas, stuffed mushrooms, and fruit shooters, to the buffet dinner service, and even the cake cutting.
A big thank you to Melanie for her timely response and patience with my numerous emails, menu changes, and updates.
I am forever grateful for Chef Heyward and his team for providing a more than memorable day for our daughter and son-in-law as well as our guests.

We recommend!

Our experience with Culinary Catering 365 was excellent. The communication was great, the food was phenomenal, and the price felt just right. Their service on the day of our wedding (35 people) was amazing and set a great vibe. They were personal and very professional. 10/10 would recommend! (And, our families are STILL talking about how great the food was!)

Great experience, great food!

Chef McKenzie and his team catered our wedding at Live Oak Plantation in Pensacola this month. They were incredible to work with and the food was great! Everybody raved about the shrimp & grits and the chicken & waffle inspired chicken on a stick. They were extremely kind and flexible by creating a one-off special vegan plate for my groom since he was the only one with that diet. His team also bartended and cut our cakes for us. Overall great experience & can’t thank them enough for their part in making our wedding so special!

Nothing but excellent

We used this vendor for our destination wedding in Gulf Shores, AL. Being most of our family is from the midwest we decided to treat our 36 guests to a traditional shrimp boil and it was a HUGE HIT!!!

Lindsey was amazing to work with! We talked through options and had the opportunity to make changes after guest counts fluctuated.

The day of the wedding Lindsey and her crew were very friendly, the food was amazing and our guests were impressed by the service. Would highly recommend this vendor!

Attention to the Details

Awesome food and staff! Provided everything we wanted and more. The quality of the food was amazing. The smashed potato bar was a huge hit with everyone. We had 3 entrees; pork loin, beef tenderloin, and chicken and all were amazing!

Hire this team!

As a COVID bride who researched and planned her wedding from afar, the food was the detail that worried me the most. I'm from New Orleans, and food is the key part of the wedding that my relatives rate the entire wedding on. This team not only met my expectations, but exceeded them. Everything was beyond amazing. The seared tuna on crispy wontons were my personal favorite! I had friends harassing the chef for his beef kabob and sirloin recipe. It was amazing! Also the staff was so attentive and friendly I could not recommend them more. They left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Do yourself a favor and hire Culinary Catering 365- you will not be disappointed!

Rehearsal dinner

My husband and I hosted a rehearsal dinner in Destin on 10/1/2020 for our son’s wedding and Heywood did a shrimp boil for us that was just perfect. Food arrived on time and hot - and there was tons of it! We had plenty of left-overs. Everyone raved about the shrimp - they were large and done perfectly.
We would definitely recommend Culinary Catering 365 for your special event!

Absolutely Incredible Vendor

I cannot stress enough how impressed I was with Culinary Catering 365. Heyward and Nancy and their team was the perfect choice for my wedding. I have 11+ food allergies and was provided with a beautiful and allergen-free meal specifically for me on my wedding day, which is a huge deal considering I almost never eat out, and I certainly never eat anything catered. I was called several times by them to check on ingredients; they wanted to make sure I could eat on my wedding day. Not only did I have my own special meal (no additional charge), but the food and service they provided to everyone else at the wedding was spectacular. I received SO MANY compliments on the quality and amount. They communicated well, were so kind, and provided a top notch experience. I have never been treated so well by a food service organization, and I fully expected to not be able to eat on my wedding day. Culinary Catering 365 went above and beyond.

Phenomenal/enjoyable staff, delicious/impressive food

Very Happy with Culinary Catering !!

Heyward and Jessica were great to work with! Any questions we had - and we had a lot -- they answered that same day or the next day. They are true professionals and we didn't worry about anything. The staff they had working at our reception/dinner were wonderful. The food was awesome. Many guests told us how great they thought the food was. If I had another event, I would DEFINITELY hire them, again!!

Perfect Dinner for 170!

Heyward and crew served up the best dinners and appetizers I have had. We referred to it as coastal Italian with seared red snapper, shrimp, scallops and meatballs. We felt so blessed to have him cater my daughter's wedding. The food was amazing. The guests were so complimentary. He and his team were attentive to my daughter and developed a menu that was perfect! Thank you!

Flexible, amazing quality for an amazing price, and the most FUN group of people!

Heyward McKenzie and his team at Culinary Catering 365 were freaking awesome. His food didn't taste average, decent, or run of the mill... it was truly divine and SO delicious!! He and his staff were FULL SERVICE! They did our rehearsal dinner AND our wedding, so, we got to taste pretty much everything they serve, and everything was fantastic! Culinary Catering 365 was not just there to provide food, they truly wanted and DID provide an experience and we felt as if we had known them for years! I would recommend their food, service, staff, etc. to anyone! Thank you!!!

Best Wedding food ever had!!

The most consistent thing we’ve heard during and after our wedding was how delicious the food was... “By far the best food we have ever had at a wedding!” We used Culinary Catering 365 and worked with Heyward for all planning. Heyward was calm yet professional and truely delivered on presentation and taste! His staff was very helpful and attentive throughout the both events (used for both the rehearsal and wedding.) We HIGHLY recommend Culinary Catering!!

I could not recommend a catering company more highly than I could Culinary Catering 365! Chef Heyward met with us many times before the wedding to make sure we had exactly what we wanted. We had a large wedding with heavy hors d'oeuvres, and his staff got everyone through the line in a very timely manner. The food was amazing, and all the guests raved about how delicious it was. His staff served my husband and me a platter of food to eat during the wedding. Then they packed us a cooler of food to eat later that evening. Everything ran smoothly, looked beautiful, and tasted incredible! The best catering company on the Emerald Coast!

I just could not have been happier with Hayward and his staff. Everything was perfect. Food was amazing! People were saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding, hands down. We even had Hayward cut the wedding cake for us. They were willing to do whatever we needed to make it a special day for our daughter. And it was. Thank you so much!

My daughter did a destination wedding in Destin Fl this past week. Culinary Catering 365 was recommended to us and we are sure glad they were!!! Everything about them was totally amazing. The service, staff and food was fantastic!!! I had guest come up to me and tell me that was the best food they had had since being in Destin!!!! Heyward and his team are amazing. We are so glad we chose Culinary Catering 365. I had chosen 2 other caterers (1 for hors devours and 1 for the main menu). However, we made a great decision on changing to Heyward. He is great to work with and very flexible on his menus. His staff id professional, prompt and efficient. The hors devours were amazing and kicked off the reception in style. Guests were loving them. The dinner was unbelievable and Heyward even threw in some complimentary ribs. Everyone raved about the food. I can't say enough about Culinary Catering 365, Heyward and his staff. Trust me you will be thoroughly pleased with Heyward!!!!! This food is amazing!!!! They pull all the stops with the food. People loved it and they crushed the stereotype of "wedding food". Everything from the beef to the fish was delicious! Would definitely use again and recommend for any event. Not just for a wedding.

Three weeks after our Destin, FL wedding and our guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was! Heyward and his team truly are top notch. They went above and beyond throughout the whole process. We had a small, Backyard wedding and were a bit overwhelmed the day of - Heyward and his team arrived early and even helped us with the set up. I truly can't say enough good things about the whole experience. I think my dear friend said it best, "the food is amazing! It doesn't take like wedding food at all - it tastes like good restaurant food." Thank you, thank you, thank you Heyward!! You made our day so special.

Heyward's food was amazing. It was some of the best food I have ever tasted. I can't tell you how many compliments I received that the food was the best anyone has ever had at a wedding. The variety, taste, and presentation were perfect. The biggest hit might have been the chocolate dipped bacon wrapped in maple cotton candy :) His whole team was so responsive and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend for any catering needs.

Chef Heyward and his team catered our destination wedding on 3/24/16. Although the weather consisted of tornado warnings, severe thunderstorms and hail the entire dinner was perfection! We had to move our outdoor wedding inside to our beach house due to the bad weather and Chef Heyward made sure the presentation was on point. I will be honest, this was by far the BEST wedding reception dinner I have ever had. We had filet, grouper, chicken, shrimp, vegetables, mashed potato bar, assorted fruits, salads and bread. After feeding our 50+ guests there was still enough left over for the next day. I actually woke up craving the food it was that good! If you are looking for a caterer I would highly suggest 365 Culinary Catering, Heyward and his team were professional, kind, courteous, prompt and completely packaged all left over food and our kitchen was left spotless. Thank you Heyward for making our wedding dinner an absolute success!

Culinary Catering 365, Hayward and his team provided an exceptional dining experience at my daughters wedding. We chose a buffet option over a plated dinner and was very pleased with the outcome. The food presentation was only out done by the food itself. The staff including the bartender arrived on time, were very friendly and managed the set-up, prep, service and clean-up with detail and professionalism. Culinary Catering 365 delivered an exceptional meal on my daughters wedding day. Their team was very professional, listened to our needs and gave us an experience that we will remember. They were kind enough to even make a plate of dinner for our limo driver and then totally cleaned up and prepared our left overs. Culinary Catering 365 catered my daughter's wedding reception December 27, 2015. Heyward McKenzie and his staff are tremendous! Heyward is extremely personable and easy to work with. The service he and his staff provided was outstanding. They prepared plates for the bride and groom. They were helpful, attentive, and gracious. The food was great. Our daughter was married September 6, 2015 in Destin, FL. Being that we were planning a destination wedding, we were nervous about selecting a caterer. Fortunately, we made an amazing choice with Culinary Catering 365 and Heyward.
Heyward was extremely easy to work with, he was easy to get a hold of and really worked with us in our selection. The crabcakes were amazing as were the pork sliders (which we were nervous about). The main course was delicious and truly have no complaints.
If you are planning a wedding in the Destin area, you don't have to be nervous about contracting Heyward. He is great, his staff was a great group as well being very attentive to all the guest.

Heyward McKenzie and his staff were incredible!! They were easy to work with and the food was absolutely amazing! We are from out of town and Heyward made everything so seamless. He provided everything we needed for food and more! We would definitely recommend Culinary Catering 365 to anyone!

Heyward and his team catered by 4/4/15 reception in Seaside, Florida, and I cannot speak highly enough of how great everything was! Everyone raved about how delicious the food--undoubtedly the best wedding food I've ever had. He was great to work with and I will forever highly recommend Culinary Catering 365! They arrived early, helped set up, and made sure the food tables were as beautiful as the rest of the tables. A++++!

We booked Culinary 365 through our wedding planner, Seashell Wedding Company.

One of the best recommendations that she suggested- delicious food, wonderful presentation and friendly staff. We couldn't have picked a better catering company ourselves. Continuously, our guests rave about the most amazing food that they've ever had. I recommend them to anyone!

Heywood and his team created food that had all our guests talking about how amazing it all was. The menu was varied and everything was truly delicious. I'm so glad my husband and I were able to sit and enjoy it during the reception!

Heyward is so easy to work with, he made sure i got everything i wanted. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything from how the food was setup and served to the service that was provided by all the staff was more than great! Im still getting compliments about the foo and how everything was served up to this day. I dont think there is a better caterer out there!! Oh My Goodness! This guy is amazing! I am an East coast girl but presently live in Nashville TN. When I read that crab cakes were his specialty I was hopeful but hard to impress. Impress he did. Delicious, as was everything else he prepared. Great presentation and all my guests continue to rave about his cooking. Let me know if you ever get to Nashville. There are no crab cakes here that can compare. Thanks for making the wedding reception a wonderful success!!

Culinary Catering 365 is definitely the best caterer! They are AMAZING!!! Heyward made the food planning process extremely FUN and easy, definitely not stressful.

Heyward catered both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. First, Heyward is so great to work with. Since we had a destination wedding in Destin, my husband and I flew down to check out vendors and we had the privilege of meeting Heyward, who whipped up an amazing meal for us to taste. We knew right away he was our guy!

He stayed in touch with us from the moment we met him up until our wedding. He is so flexible and easy to work with. He had no problem with us changing the rehearsal menu and serving style at the last minute (literally).

It was so nice to be able to pick and choose the food items we wanted for both events! Heyward was on board with any and all special requests. The food was out of this world amazing! All of our guests are still telling us how much they loved the food!!!

He also provided bartenders for our wedding, who were really great. His staff is a great group of people to work with.

I can't say enough how much we love Culinary Catering 365!! They provide top quality service at a great value!

Booking Culinary Catering 365 as your caterer will be the best decision for your special day!!!

Chef Heyward McKenzie and his staff were extremely professional and easy to work with when planning our daughter's wedding reception meal. The food was displayed beautifully and incredibly fresh and delicious. Chef Heyward even personally served the bride and groom and the parents so we didn't have to wait in line. What a wonderful thing to do for us....especially when we weren't expecting that. A very nice gesture from the chef.

We were told he was the best in town....and they were right! If you want a perfect evening with delicious food, do not hesitate to hire him. He is worth every penny!

Heyward worked with us to select the prefect menu at a reasonable cost. His staff took great care of us, bringing heaping portions of delicious food to our head table and keeping our drinks full all night long. Our guests raved about what a wonderful job the caterer did and how good the food was. Even the venue we held our reception at was impressed that they asked to use Heyward for future catering events. Working with Heyward and his team was really a pleasure! I was able to quote a budget and the number of guests up front, and he was so accommodating & quick to respond! My goal was not to have a meat-and-rice-pilaf-type "wedding food" spread, and he definitely got the job done with style-- lots of grilled veggies, gourmet mashed potato station, and great chicken/fish and appetizers. Would definitely recommend Culinary Catering 365 to any bride!

Heyward McKenzie with Culinary Catering 365 was fantastic to work with. We planned a destination wedding from SC and he had total control and was able to provide us with different menu options until we narrowed down what was perfect for us! Chef Mackenzie and his staff were exceptional from concept to completion. The setup and breakdown were flawless and I commend Heyward for his professionalism. Culinary Catering 365 offers a wide variety of options with great price points. As a chef myself, I know the time and effort it takes to feed 100+ people and be able to satisfy everyone. Heyward did a fantastic job and I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Heyward and his crew went above and beyond to make my wedding perfect! The staff was so helpful and did whatever i needed them to do. The set up was amazing and the food was delicous!! My uncle who is a chef couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. It was the best of the best. Everything was seasoned perfect and tasted like a 5 star restaurant! The food was great and they had plenty of staff to take care of our party. They knew what they were doing and when to do it, very friendly and professional. I really don't think our wedding would have gone as smooth without Culinary Catering. Thanks again to the whole staff.

We planned our whole wedding from afar, and this catering company was the only one to get back to us in a quick and professional manner. We were impressed from the beginning. The day of the wedding everything went so smoothly. The food was delicious, and there was a ton of it! We never ran out of anything. The wait staff made sure we ate, and had drinks delivered to our table. I had many people mention that when they raved about something, a dish of it would appear a minute later so that they could have more. We were so impressed and happy with everything. We had great vegetarian options as well as having no pork anywhere so that our Jewish and Muslim guests could eat anything without worrying. It was splendid!

Chef Heyward is awesome! The food at our wedding was some of the best we've ever had (and we've been to a lot of weddings!). We couldn't believe the great quality and presentation we were able to get for such a reasonable price. Some of our favorite things were the seared tuna/wonton appetizer, the jumbo shrimp were killer, and the mahi at dinner was fantastic. We got tons of compliments from our guests. We highly recommend Culinary Catering!

Heyward McKenzie of Chef/Owner Culinary Catering 365 took all the worry out of doing a destination Wedding with bride, groom and parents all out of town.

My daughter had booked a caterer, and weeks later, we found that they were closing their doors. Both the bride and the groom are Medical Residents with very limited time available to make calls during business hours. We had another person in mind, who did not return calls.

I called Heyward on a Sunday morning, anticipating that he would call back on Monday or Tuesday. An hour later, he returned my call on his way home from Church, and pulled over and planned menus with me for 45 minutes. That day, we had a quote and a wonderful menu emailed to us. He worked within our budget, and went out of his way to give us great value.

During the event, Heyward made the rounds to the tables to ensure that our guests had everything they needed. The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was very attractive. Everything worked like clockwork.

Heyward is a great RX for every bride with his smiling confidence and personality. We highly recommend him.

Catering 365 was hands down the best wedding food I have ever had. We created a great menu that was enjoyed by all. They actually catered the rehearsal dinner as well. Our guests were all very pleased! Maybe Heyward will open his own restaurant one day so that his food can be enjoyed my everyone who visits the Destin area!

One hiccup

I was so happy with everything leading up to our wedding. We had to change things around due to COVID and we made changes two months before our date. Nancy was so laid back and great to talk to. We got the shrimp boil for 16 people, BBQ, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese, and salad. Everything was amazing, but our main course, the shrimp boil, had no shrimp. Now I’m not saying there were fewer than we expected.....I’m saying there were NONE. Thankfully we had the BBQ and the chicken tenders. I’ll be honest the food was great but I’m not sure how you miss the shrimp
In a SHRIMP boil. Anyhow, I contacted Nancy and she sent us a card with $150 enclosed. While this was super nice we paid $480 total for the boil so we paid $330 for potatoes, corn, and sausage.....seems rather expensive. Anyhow, they are pleasant and the other food was good but things seem a bit unorganized.
