This band is incredible. They played our welcome music, ceremony (even learned a Beatles song for my entrance), cocktail hour, and reception. Dancers couldn’t stop dancing, non dancers got up and danced anyway! We had multiple friends ask for their information to book them for future events. They were the talk of the wedding - everyone wanted to know where we found them and couldn’t wait to go to future show dates. Josh was so flexible, thoughtful, and professional with his planning, communication throughout, and execution. What a talented, salt of the earth group. We highly recommend working with Cuarteto Guataca for a wedding, event, or anything you want to really amaze a crowd with! -

We saw Cuarteto Guataca play about a year ago in Weehawken, NJ and reached out about the possibility of playing at our wedding in Vermont. They responded quickly (through GigSalad) and were super enthusiastic about playing at our wedding. They were INCREDIBLE! People have not stopped talking about the band and it was so wonderful to see my abuelos dancing the night away. Would absolutely recommend Josh and the rest of the team. -

I’ve heard Cuarteto Guataca at several events. They’re charming and know how to create a beautiful musical experience. Once they started playing everyone couldn’t help but dance. I also especially loved when they slowed everything down with a bolero thrown into the mix, which really showed off the singer’s voice. I can’t recommend them enough - hire them, you won’t regret it! -

Baby Shower
Josh and his team really delivered an amazing experience for our baby shower. He played the list we asked for and even accommodated requests from guests and played songs to engage the younger audience. His team played beautifully and would definitely ask for his help again in the future. -

I had a wonderful experience with this band.. Excellent communication, they met and exceeded all expectations... They are talented and infectious. I can not say enough good things about this band. If you are looking for Spanish Music, or Cuban Music, there would be no reason to not choose this group of talented musicians.

Each of these musicians is accomplished in their own right. When they play together, something special happens. Your guests will remember dancing in another time and place. The music is fresh and yet you may feel like you traveled to Cuba 1948 or la Belle Epoque or even some speak easy when jazz was organic and authentic.

Joyful vibes and excellent music!
In the midst of the craziness of the 2020, we found ourselves wondering how to celebrate two huge milestones: first my husband’s 40th birthday, then later my baby shower for our first child. For both of these once-in-a-lifetime events we had the tremendous fortune to be able to have Cuarteto Guataca to play outdoors. Their sublime cuban music without fail inspired all to cast aside pandemic woes and celebrate these occasions with glorious dancing and joyous revelry, truly making our moments special and memorable. Hire them! -

Perfect blend of oldies and spanish classics!
We wanted a special surprise for my Tia's 75th Christmas birthday and after seeing others had done safe social distance serenades, we thought perfect! From the moment I booked to day of the event, Josh was amazing to work with. Professional and super accommodating to specific song requests. A blend of oldies and classic parranda done wonderfully! We were all extremely happy with Josh and all the performers who brought some cheer to her special day! -
