Crystal is amazing! She is professional, prompt, fun, easy going, and talented! She even let a couple extra people go since we had more time left over. Her work was amazing also, she did exactly what I wanted and it lasted all night which was my biggest concern. She is also so so so fast! Crystal is now more than my hair stylist she’s my friend! Highly recommend!
Crystal was great and so easy to work with! She was very communicative and was able to execute mine and all my friend’s visions for hair flawlessly. During my trial she made me feel very comfortable that going into the big day I had no anxiety about how my hair would look. During the actual day I had a flower hair piece instead of a veil, and there was a part of the piece I wanted to change and Crystal took over and made it into exactly what I wanted!
She worked so efficiently that we actually had some time left over for us to squeeze someone else in to get their hair done that hadn’t originally wanted the service! Even with the wind during the pictures and ceremony all the styles held well.

Crystal is truly incredible, and I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding day hair. From our very first interaction, she was responsive, professional, and so easy to communicate with.
At my trial, she took the time to really listen to what I envisioned, offered thoughtful suggestions based on my dress and venue, and adjusted small details until everything felt perfect.
On the wedding day, Crystal brought such a calm, grounding presence to the room. If you’re a bride, you know how much the energy in the getting-ready space matters and she contributed to such a positive, relaxed atmosphere. I absolutely loved my hairstyle, and it held beautifully throughout the entire day and dancing.
What meant even more to me was that every one of my friends and family members who had their hair done felt beautiful and taken care of. She was efficient without ever making anyone feel rushed, and each style felt personalized rather than repetitive.

My husband and I recently got married in Tamarindo for a destination wedding (We are from the States). Crystal was so responsive through the entire planning process and open to trying different styles with me - since I changed my mind on style we had two hair trials! She was so accommodating and went out of her way to make sure I was happy. Both my hair and all bridesmaids looked amazing and lasted through the evening despite humidity. Crystal is awesome! She made me feel at ease immediately upon meeting her, and she is so easy to talk to. She is very skilled at what she does, and she is able to create beautiful hairstyles, in what seems like no time at all! I had two junior bridesmaids ( 10 & 13 yo) that didn't really know what they wanted, but Crystal was able to effortlessly create beautiful updo's that they both loved, and that suited their very different personalities perfectly! Hair was superb!
Crystal was a referral from my photographer who was shooting my wedding on the beach in Tamarindo. My initial meeting with Crystal was for a trial date. She is fun, sweet and very professional! She knows all the do's and don't's of how to have your hair handle and last through the humid weather of Costa Rica. We initially planned on a beautiful look with my hair down, but talked about a plan B depending on weather on my wedding day. It happened to be rainy that afternoon and pretty humid. Crystal advised an updo might be a better option for my hair to stay for hours during the wedding. I'm not really an updo person however she did this gorgeous loose and natural hairstyle that I ended up loving! It was perfect and highlighted my outfit! It stayed beautifully and looked great in all our pictures. My new husband loved it as well. Fortunately the rain stopped just in time and we have several amazing jungle and beach shots. Since I've been back to Florida, friends and family have seen some of our wedding photos and everyone commented on how beautiful my hair was. Crystal is so easy going and so much fun to work with. Everyone loved their hair and it stayed all day/night throughout our hot and windy beach wedding! She completely listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I also did a hair trial with her the day before our wedding that I wore to our welcome event. My hair felt so secure (but still looked beachy/"messy" which I wanted) and stayed put all night through lots of dancing, wind, and sweating. She incorporated the hair pins I brought with me perfectly. I'd 100% recommend Crystal for anyone wanting to feel beautiful and confident on their big day!Crystal Tavares Hair's reply:

I had a great time with Crystal and her team during my trial and wedding day. She was super relaxed and fun and SUPER fast. I have been in SO many weddings and our start times are always around 6-7 AM and Crystal is so fast that we didn't need to start until like 10 AM. It was a nice change of pace for me and all of my bridesmaids and we finished with plenty of time!Crystal Tavares Hair's reply:

Perfect hair for my beach elopement!
Crystal was great - my hair turned out exactly as I wanted for my beach wedding/elopement in Playa Langosta, Costa Rica. She was super responsive to emails and really listened to my requests. I sent her 3-4 pictures of the look I was going for, and she nailed it! Picking vendors for a destination wedding is hard, but I'm so glad I chose Crystal - I would highly recommend her if you're getting married in Costa Rica - pura vida!Crystal Tavares Hair's reply:

Saved my perfect day
I had a cancellation for my make up and hair less than 24 hours before my wedding. I was hysterical!! Someone told me to contact Crystal and I realized after it was all meant to be.
