Excellent wedding venue

We just had a wedding here and it was an excellent experience in all areas. Food wa too notch and guests said it was some of the best banquet food they’ve had.

Best night ever

Had my wedding this past weekend. I cannot say enough great things about them. Planning was easy, thank you Val and Erica! Our day of coordinator, Barb, was fantastic. Terri was just wonderful and so helpful during dinner and cake cutting. Colleen, our bartender, did an amazing job all night. The food was phenomenal! Thank you to all the staff who helped make our night magical. It was perfect in every way!

Book Crystal Gardens for your next event!

Crystal Gardens was absolutely amazing from start to finish with our wedding day! We unfortunately were one of the couples that had to push their wedding day back due to COVID-19, but everyone at Crystal Gardens was so helpful and accommodating with our situation! We worked with Valerie for getting all of the details set for the day of and she was always very quick, responsive, and so helpful with all of our questions. On the day of the wedding, the entire staff (head captain, wait staff, bartenders, chef, etc.) was so kind and made sure that everything ran so smoothly without us or any of our guests having to worry about anything. I would definitely recommend Crystal Gardens to anyone who is looking to have an event!

We had a beautiful wedding at Crystal Gardens!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Crystal Gardens this past Friday. I cannot put into words how perfect our day was! The staff here is incredible. From our first meeting with Valerie, we knew we had found our venue. She is so knowledgeable, punctual, and attentive to every email, question, or concern. She really put my concerns at ease!

The day of our wedding, Barbara was our ceremony coordinator. She was fantastic. She greeted us at the door and explained everything that was going to happen. She pinned boutonnières, set up sand ceremony tables, had a box of goodies in case anyone needed some hairspray or adjustment. She even ended up making a boutonnière out of what we had because we ended up with one short! She was even there at the end of the night to say everything was all set.

Evan was our reception coordinator. He introduced himself during cocktail hour and said if we had any questions or concerns to let him know. Well, we ended up needing to push up our entrance into the reception room a bit early because pictures went faster than we had anticipated. He was more than accommodating and explained exactly how it would work. He even went over everything with our DJ so I wouldn’t have to stress about making a last minute change.

Gina was our bartender. She was a pro. She handled my guests with such an incredible demeanor! She was funny and super efficient. Every time I came near the bar, she had my drink ready to go without me having to ask! I must admit, I thought this was because I was a groom but apparently she did that with several of our main guests!! Closer to the end of the night, I asked her to find someone to box up some of the cake because I hadn’t had any at that point (I love wedding cake!). She did exactly that and as we were leaving at the end of the night I was handed a huge box of delicious cake!!

Our guests have flooded us with text messages, phone calls, and emails about how wonderful the venue was. They complimented to opulence of the rooms, the top notch staff, and the incredible food. We did family style and everyone had a great experience during dinner. The food was hot, delicious, and beautifully presented.

I cannot say enough good things about Crystal Gardens. Everyone knows exactly how to throw an incredible wedding or event.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making our day the wedding we’ve always imagined!!

From the moment we arrived that morning until we left that night the staff at Crystal Gardens made sure we had everything we needed. They were very professional and made my wedding day effortless. The venue is breaand worth every penny. ( they were actually less expensive than every other venue we checked out.) The buffet , the full bar, the DJ service was all top notch! Highly recommended!

I am SO incredibly happy that we chose to go with Crystal Gardens for our wedding on 10/21/2017! The service was stellar, the food was fantastic (the prime rib was one of the best I've ever had!), and the venue was beautiful! We worked with Valerie leading up to our big day and she was so patient and helpful in answering all of our questions. Our coordinator, Barb, was also super helpful in making sure the day went smoothly. The servers in our reception hall were fast and efficient. As the bride and groom we had our own "go-to" person that was so attentive to anything we asked for. The bartender remembered my drink order every time I went for a refill and being the only bartender,I was quite impressed! An employee even helped to remove a bead from my nephews ear during our ceremony! (Apparently our nuptials were not entertaining enough to a 6 year old!) They truly go above and beyond here to make your day perfect! As for the price, we looked at a couple of venues where we would have paid the some that we had paid at Crystal Gardens for ONLY the venue. Here, this included the venue, food, open bar, chapel for our ceremony (this was actually a small amount extra but the total price was still less than we would have spent anywhere else), and we got to choose three things to include in our price. They give you a list when you first inquire including things like DJ, cake, invitations, etc. that you can add without paying extra but they also let you substitute. We went with cake, chair covers, and a bar upgrade. We also got our invitations through them at a discounted rate because we had booked there. There is a financial minimum for the size room we chose, meaning we had to pay for a minimum number of people even if fewer people RSVP'd. However, they let you take that money you pay to make up the difference and apply it towards something else so you're not paying "empty dollars." We added a champagne toast for the room and a fall dessert table. They are amazing!

I can’t say enough good things about Crystal Gardens. I was planning my wedding reception from out of state and the staff at Crystal Gardens made the entire process so easy and enjoyable. My coordinator always responded to my emails within a few hours l and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with all the little details of my day. They provided insight and advice and helped bring my vision to life! The service staff was also so attentive and polite, they truly did everything to ensure I was well taken care of. My guests loved the food and the cake they made for me was stunning. My day of coordinator was organized and ready to jump in and help when some last minute changes popped up with my officiant. Everyone at Crystal Gardens was just so nice and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I’m so thankful for the amazing work they did!

We are so happy that we booked with Crystal Gardens for our wedding on May 26, 2017! They made the process simple and were extremely helpful with all our concerns and questions. We got the wedding package which allows you to choose items to be included (such as DJ, chair covers, photo booth, invitations, wedding cake, etc) and we loved how most everything was then taken care of. You really don't have to worry about much because they coordinate everything, even the ceremony had a coordinator, Barb, that was awesome! They responded quickly with any questions we had and handled everyone during the ceremony and reception. Our special day went better than I had envisioned!

Crystal Gardens was professional and attentive from the start. From the first time I contacted Valerie she was extremely friendly and helpful. She was quick to respond to my many questions and even planned a special meal tasting for us as we missed the planned ones. We had our wedding here in January, 2017 so we could not use the outdoor chapel but they offered to bring the chiavari chairs in for us (with a small fee) to make the inside ceremony room look more elegant. It was perfect. We did the plated entre (steak and chicken) with the Julian vegetables and red skin potatoes which were wonderful. The guest feedback was great on the food and we enjoyed it too. They also went above and beyond by having the piano in the lobby tuned before our wedding so we could have someone playing it while guests were arriving and in between the ceremony and reception. They were so easy to work with and outranked any other venue. They also provide you with a planner for the day of the wedding to keep you on schedule and direct you as to what you should be doing. I loved that because you plan and plan but when the day is here- you can’t remember everything and keep track of everyone. As a bride, it was so helpful and provided a peace of mind to not have to worry about everyone else. I would recommend this venue to anyone.

I highly recommend Crystal Gardens to anyone planning a wedding that wants the event to go smooth and enjoy being taken care of. Customer service was incredible from the initial consultation all the way to the end of the wedding reception. We started with a wedding package through the venue and literally hired the rest of our vendors through referral. It was so nice to know that the cake was taken care of, that we didn't have to rent chair covers, and that staff was available to help with our big day instead of relying on family - we wanted all of our friends and family to celebrate not work. Running out of beverages at our bar was a huge concern and the Crystal Gardens representatives were right in stating that they will NOT run out! It was so convenient for our guests to travel to one venue for the ceremony and reception. Our wedding was a smashing success!

I haven't had my wedding here yet, its coming this December. But I have to say, so far my experience with them have been nothing but pleasant. Everyone you encounter there is so friendly and helpful. Valerie ALWAYS give me a prompt response to my million questions I ask her. Always accomadates every request I have. They are so flexible and easy to work with. The food tasting we had was so wonderful and the food was AMAZING... making our menu choices was very difficult. They really make the wedding planning a lot easier by offering so much. From the food and drinks to the DJ, cake, invitations, chair covers. They can really cover almost all of it. I am so looking forward to my wedding day in two months. Its a truly beautiful facility with great staff! I will be reccomending it to everyone I know!

This was the best experience ever! They can do it all if you want them to! Best bang for our buck, very good quality, professional, flexible. We are so happy with Crystal Gardens! Crystal Gardens was amazing from the time we toured the venue to the time we left the reception! Not only are the facilities gorgeous the staff was awesome! Kari (Event Coordinator) was the best! She was so helpful with the whole planning process and responded to my emails/phone calls immediately. We couldn't not have done it without her! Bard (Chapel Coordinator) was so great! Made my reception go as smoothly as possible. They have tons of staff members on board that will help you with everything and anything. They have serving and receptions done to a science. Great staff to work with, I did not need to hire a wedding planner with all the help I received from Valerie and Laura. The food was awesome, everything about this place is wonderful. Kari has been amazing to work with. She answered my email almost immediately, and then sent a follow up email the next day. We met with her and she made everything as relaxed as possible. She gave a variety of dates and options to best meet our needs. There was no pressure to book with them as she left the ball in our hands. Once we booked with them, everything has been just as good. Ran into her at their bridal show last night, and she made it clear that we could update our options or change them at anytime during the process. Can't wait to get married here!

I could not say enough about how great my experience with Crystal Gardens was. From my first meeting with Kari until the very last minute of my reception, they were so helpful and attentive and made me feel like a princess on my special day.

As many brides are, I was very concerned with my budget but Kari and the sales team worked with me to get exactly what I wanted to make my package work. I also won an upgrade at their free bridal show which really helped enhance the reception. They were very flexible and attentive during the planning and I could not have had a better experience.

During the reception, our banquet captain was very attentive and made me feel like royalty (she even put a special note on the box that our top tier of the cake was placed in). I really was not expecting such personal detail and it was a very nice surprise. Everyone complimented on the "best wedding food they've had" and how beautiful the reception hall was. Some people told me it was the best wedding they've been to and I would definitely say that is because Crystal Gardens has it all.. beautiful atmosphere, great food, and friendly and over the top service.

Their outdoor chapel is absolutely gorgeous (and covered in case of rain) and the convenience of having your ceremony and reception in the same place is great! There are a lot of trees, shrubbery and flowers surrounding the chapel and we didn't need to go anywhere else to take pictures. They also have a wedding coordinator on site (Barbara) and she is just fantastic. You can tell she has many years of experience because she literally does not miss a single detail. She was a real pleasure to work with.

I don't think I could ever put into words exactly how grateful I am for Crystal Gardens giving me the best day of my life. I would recommend anyone to have their wedding here :)

We had our wedding reception here in June and we were very impressed with Crystal Gardens. From the time we first met with Valerie a year ago, she was easy to get in contact with and provided us with clear information. It is helpful that you can choose to purchase a package that includes options such as the cake, Dj, etc..., so you don't have to coordinate with separate vendors on your own. The food was excellent and many of our guests were talking about the food the next day! It's convenient that we were able to drop off our decorations the day before the wedding and the staff took care of all the setup for us. We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking for their wedding reception location! We had a great time!

I fell in love with this place by the pictures alone, and then when you go there to book everything, you fall more in love with everything. They take care of so much for you, from the cake, to the photobooth to the linens. Val and Kari are amazing wedding consultants and work with you on everything to make sure your wedding is exactly how you pictured it. Barb the ceremony coordinator stays with you from the time of the ceremony until the end of the night! She is such a sweetheart. If your ever looking for somewhere to get married, this is the place. My guests fell in love with the venue, and my family loved the ceremony site.

We had our wedding in the Celebrity Ballroom in Crystal Gardens. The staff there was excellent as was the food. We are so happy we chose them as their package combined a number of services we would need into one. They arrange the ceremony space, reception space, catering, cake, and DJ.

Crystal Gardens has an amazing outdoor chapel. It's so beautiful with the flowers and flowing curtains. Wonderful place to get married. The reception rooms are beautiful as well. They have terrific food and even did our wedding cake. Everything was amazing. I couldn't have found a better place!

Absolutely loved our experience at Crystal Gardens. From the moment we set up our appointment to meet with Valerie to the moment we left out reception at the end of the wedding everything was perfect. They went above and beyond for us and we would highly recommend them to anyone in the future.

The open air chapel is gorgeous! I was in the celebrity ballroom and it was breathtaking...Val was so easy to get in contact with and she was very quick at responding to all my questions and working with me. Our event captain, Christina was also super easy to work with! -- The food was delicious and the guests raved how amazing our bartender was as well. CG really turned my dream wedding into a reality !

If you are looking for a venue for your wedding you HAVE to go with Crystal Gardens!! We got married Labor Day weekend in their celebrity room and had our ceremony in their outdoor chapel. Crystal Gardens is so beautiful they pay close attention to every detail!! The hallways are full of flowers and a big staircase they make for great pictures and you hardly have to decorate. They also have beautiful chandeliers in all the rooms and patios. It looks much more expensive then what you will pay. Our guests absolutely loved it!! If you do go with Crystal Gardens I would recommend working with Laura L. as your coordinator she helped us from day one and was absolutely amazing!!! The food is great we got so much positive feedback from outer guests. Our package included our DJ, cake and chair covers which was great for the price and less vendors to deal with. Definitely 5 stars!!!

My wedding was incredible thanks to everyone at Crystal Garden. From the event coordinators and planners to the chef, everyone was a pleasure to work with and the food was delicious. Everyone loved the food. We chose a buffet and had plenty of food for everyone. They had a waiter that assisted me with my plate so I did not have to worry about carrying food with my dress. Only wish they would have more tasting. Depending on when your wedding is you could forget what the food tasted like between the tasting and the event.

We absolutely loved our experience at Crystal Gardens! The venue was so elegant and the food was great! Our guests complimented the food many times. We had the Friday night package with buffet, and included DJ, chair covers and the cake. The cake was so good too. Everything was so easy and the venue took care of everything. Working with Kari helped everything go smoothly and she thought of every detail! I would highly recommend this venue - they made our night a very special one to remember! We loved it!

Just had my wedding at Crystal Gardens in Howell. I could not imagine having had my wedding at another place. When my husband (then fiancé) and I were looking for places to have our wedding, we stopped into Crystal Gardens. As soon as we left we knew that is where we wanted to get married. The whole facility is gorgeous! Additionally, everyone we encountered there was very nice and professional. They were always on top of their game reminding me of certain deadlines and always promptly answering any questions I ever had. I could not have chosen a better place to get married!

Crystal Gardens was amazing from the get go. Valerie and Laura were so helpful when we starting planning and throughout the whole process. Courtney was fun and so helpful when it came to the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. The staff at Crystal Gardens were all polite and professional. The food was so delicious! Everything went off without any issues. It was exactly what I wanted! I would recommend Crystal Gardens to any couple looking to get married. The Chapel is beautiful as well. Everything went so smooth on my wedding day from the preparation through the ceremony and reception. Where to begin!?! I simply adored my experience and wedding at Crystal Gardens in Howell, Michigan. Working with Jessica Brooks made everything so smooth and seamless and I did not have to worry about anything. She was so responsive, professional, and no matter what question I had, she was always kind and calming. They truly are the best of the best in the Southeast Michigan area and I'd recommend this venue to anyone! The outdoor open air chapel is just beautiful, peaceful, and charming and Barb knew how to rally the troops and make sure all of the bridal party knew where to be when. The food was phenomenal and the staff was fantastic during the reception! I highly recommend adding on the carving station for beef! All of my guests raved about the food! They even accommodated me creating my own two signature drinks for the reception. From beginning to end, working with Crystal Gardens was such a pleasure and they helped me to have the wedding of my dreams! Thank you!!!

Crystal Gardens was everything we could have dreamed of in a wedding venue and chapel! We had searched in our area (Lansing) for a few weeks before coming across Crystal Gardens, and even though it was a thirty-minute drive, we just knew it was the place for our wedding day. We worked with Valerie for most of the wedding- including constant emails, meetings and phone calls. She was absolutely wonderful! We were taken care of throughout the entire wedding planning process. We chose to go with a Friday wedding because of their pricing/packages offered- our package included an open bar, late night snacks, DJ, photobooth, chair covers, etc.. Basically everything we wanted! We also chose to do an earlier ceremony in order to use their outdoor chapel (absolutely beautiful!).
Our wedding day was pure perfection! Our even coordinator and all staff members were a joy to work with and made sure that everything was just as we hoped and envisioned it would be! I would love to attend more weddings/events there in the future!
Food and drinks were also very delicious! We were worried the food would be the typical "wedding food" and have a boring flavor, but the hors d'eouvres, main course and late night snack (pizza) was absolutely delicious! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Crystal Gardens was a great venue for our wedding. We loved the open air chapel and the ballroom. It was ideal having the ceremony and reception in one location for our out of town guests and made it easier to plan our wedding out of state. The staff was friendly and available to answer any questions. I was able to visit the venue several times when I was in town without having to make an appointment. They offered a Friday Package with great discounts and other services included buffet or family style dinner, wedding cake, DJ, chair covers, Shutterbooth photobooth, or invitations. It was definitely a great venue to host our wedding

I had an off-site wedding reception and asked Crystal Gardens to cater it. From the chairs to the food to the cake, everything was beautiful. Not to mention the customer service and attention to every detail by the staff. There was not a beat they missed and helped me feel calm and in control. If I ever need to use a banquet center again, I will definitely choose Crystal Gardens. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and their staff. I had to move my date up very short notice, and they were extremely accomodating. We got married a month ago, and our family and friends are still talking about what an amazing time they had and how great the food was. They have an amazing deal on Friday weddings that you can't beat anywhere in the area, and their outdoor chapel is absolutely beautiful. Their staff took care of absolutely EVERYTHING for us, our day was absolutely perfect and stress-free. Thank you Crystal Gardens for an amazing wedding day that we'll never forget!!

Crystal gardens was amazing, beautiful and created memories that I will never forget! From the first meeting to the day of the wedding I was lucky enough to have Valerie Keough as my consultant. At that first meeting she explained every possible thing to me and really put me at ease. I had only been to 3 weddings in my lifetime and when I was young so I really had no idea how everything worked. Even as questions came up after the meeting I was able to email her and she was always so quick responding to my emails. Valerie went above and beyond constantly with her service and help. She was incredibly knowledgeable and there wasn’t a question I asked that she didn’t know the answer. She was here when I dropped off my things to be set up and helped me get everything where it needed to be. The individuals that were supposed to come to the wedding and to tear down my receptions did not show up and the Crystal Garden staff stepped in and said they would help me. They took pity on me as this is something they generally do not do. At the end I was so exhausted that I left my bouquet there that had a brooch on it. I was so upset and when I called looking for the brooch they had already saved it and had it at the front desk for me to pick up. The whole experience was just perfect and I couldn’t ask for more. I would recommend Crystal Gardens to EVERYONE around. The outside chapel was so amazing and exactly what I wanted. also Thank you so much to Crystal Gardens for making my wedding one of the most wonderful memory in my life.

I loved my wedding at Crystal Gardens and we got so many compliments! We used the outdoor ceremony site and the celebrity room, both are beautiful! The staff was very helpful and professional. I even had a guest that found out about a dairy and gluten allergy two weeks before the wedding and they made her a special plate of food! At the end of the night the staff helped take down all my decor. My experience with Crystal Gardens could not have been better and I would recommend them to everyone!

We held our wedding at the Howell Opera House and they work with only three caterers. We were told that Crystal Gardens was the most expensive option, so we called the other two first. The first guy had a completely separate (and more expensive) menu exclusively for the opera house...what we could get for some other venue cost two or three bucks more per person at the opera house. Super off-putting. We tried the second option; he was taking that month off due to the birth of a grandchild. With a bit of trepidation we called "the expensive option." They were wonderful! We gave them an idea of what we wanted and how much we could spend and they built a custom option for us. Presentation was lovely, the waiter who worked our event was kind and professional, and the food tasted great. So glad we ended up with Crystal Gardens!

We had our reception at Crystal Gardens and it was the perfect location! There is a grand entrance that offers plenty of photo opportunities and the ballrooms are classic. The servers were great & very attentive. The wedding wouldn't have been the same if it were not there . . . Plenty of room - indoors & outdoors (you get your own patio!)

I cannot praise CG enough for what they did for us. They really worked with us in the 17 days we had to find a new reception hall (because our original one closed) and helped make our day perfect!! We worked with Amy and she really helped keep us in our budget and have all of the same things we were getting at our other location. I am so happy we ended up going to them, their facility is beautiful. The food was good, the drinks were great, the room was perfect, the staff was more than accomodating. We had the best time. They even let us drop off reception items the day before so we didn't have to rush around on the day of the wedding. We had their cake and it was delicious!!!They kept everything on time and as scheduled as well. I couldn't have been more happy with CG.

We were extremely lucky to come across Crystal Garden's. We were one of the first weddings there and actually their remodel wasn't completely done when we held our event. They provided a seperate room for the reception and they decorated themselves and it was very nice. The reception was in two other rooms and was extremely spacious and beautifully done as they provided the linens (color of my choice). Since the bar wasn't completed at the time of my wedding they extended our reception an extra two hours with open bar included which was extremely generous of them! My wedding was gorgeous, the food was absoultely AMAZING (everyone said this was the best food at a wedding they have ever had), and overall I don't have any complaints. They handled most of the details from day one, it included our invitations which was awesome and that helped eased my bridal stress! The communicated without fail and you cant ask for a more helpful staff. Joe was extremely diligent in seeing that I had the wedding I had imagined and if I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate to rebook a wedding there!

Crystal Gardens did such an amazing job. We had our wedding on October 1st, 2016 in the Celebrity Ballroom with 154 people. We had the family style dinner with the champagne chicken and prime rib, with the roasted redskins and vegetables. The food was amazing. Valerie was who helped plan everything and she was so easy to work with and she was so accommodating since we were planning from Florida! She had recommendations for everything and since we did not know the area, it was so helpful! The rehearsal coordinators were of so much help as well. They were so organized and made sure everyone looked great before they walked down the aisle. My only complaint is that we needed another bartender. The line for the bar was quite long with just one bartender. Other than that we had so many compliments on how beautiful and well organized the wedding was.

We recently had our ceremony and wedding reception at Crystal Gardens and had a wonderful experience. We selected this venue because I was planning a long distance wedding and their package included essential things like the cake, DJ, etc. This to me was an amazing perk and the price was right. The banquet staff was impeccable including Brenda's amazing service and Barbara's attention to detail and years of experience really showed. The entire staff was great including all the servers and our bartender, I just directly dealt with Brenda and Barbara. The only issue I had was some things were not changed that I had spoken with one of the planners about a week prior to the event so, the morning of I had to more chairs, place settings, tables, etc around. But, if that is the only thing that went wrong then I think we were in good shape. It was just a little irritating discussing this information with a staff member who clearly did not relay the information to the proper people. Other than that the food was amazing, the staff was excellent, and the outdoor chapel was great and we did not notice any street noise. All of our guests complimented the food and the venue. I would absolutely recommend this venue to a friend.

Crystal Gardens was the PERFECT location for our ceremony and reception. The chapel is stunning and has a very romantic feel with the lighting and the shades drawn. The Sound system in the chapel is wonderful as all the guests can hear the music and words clearly. All around the Chapel is just gorgeous.
The hall was also lovely. We had the royal and grand ballrooms and it was the perfect size for our guests. It did not look squishy or too open. It was the perfect size. The outdoor patio was a nice touch and our guests really enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing if they did not want to dance. The hall is clean and updated. The room is so beautiful on its own that we did not need any backdrops or drapes to cover or hide the walls. They have these beautiful gold trimmed mirrors that really make the room look elegant.
The food was delicious. We had family style, and all the food was hot and fresh. There was plenty to go around and everyone was full and not left hungry. We received a ton of compliments on the food from our guests and we thought that was important to us that they enjoyed dinner.
The staff at Crystal gardens is AMAZING. Valerie was very helpful and always had a good response time. She helped with any hiccups we had throughout the planning process and worked with us and not against us. The vendors they recommend were also great.

I had the best wedding at Crystal Gardens. Well my husband and I had the best wedding at Crystal Gardens. I can't say enough about Florence who works at CG. She was the person we met with when we signed our contract and made our deposit. She went above and beyond her job to make sure that our wedding was perfect. I was a crabby bride and wasn't always the nicest person to deal with but she made sure my every need was met. We had a couple glitches (not due to Crystal Gardens but due to our decorator) and she was able to assist us with making sure that our room got decorated perfect and on time. Her years of experience really benifits any bride she works with!

My husband and I had an amazing experiance at our wedding! We only had 1 complaint about this vendor. We decided to serve our guests buffet style and we did not know that the bridal party would be served dinner. It was nice to not have to get up and go thru the line, but the downfall was we only got the basics of what we ordered (salad, meat and potatoes) and in the actual buffet line they had an assortment of cold pasta salads and cheeses that looked amazing on the leftover plates of our guests and they also had amazing garlic rolls that my guests are still raving about that we never were able to try as well.. but other than that everything went according to plan and turned out great! Everyone at Crystal Gardens was willing to work with you and get you everything you have ever dreamed of at a reasonable price. My package included: Buffet, Bar, seating for 250 guests, Dj, invitations and thank you cards, and my cake!

I just had my wedding here and let me tell you, I love this venue. Crystal Gardens made everything so easy, and planning with them was a dream. I worked with Jessica and Courtney, leading up to my event and they were both so personable and helpful, and very timely when it came to answering my questions. On the day of my wedding, Barbara, the ceremony coordinator, was amazing. She had everything I could possibly need and was very helpful and made sure everyone knew what they were doing, since a lot of my bridal party could not make it to the rehearsal.

My one complaint is we had some bartenders who made it apparent that they didn't really appreciate that our wedding was on a Sunday, and one of them even said it to my groom before our ceremony while he was in the lobby bar. While I feel like majority of the staff was wonderful and professional and so helpful, I didn't appreciate the few comments that were made. It was our day, the venue offers Sunday weddings, it's cheaper to have a Sunday wedding, and lets be honest, weddings are EXPENSIVE.

On a more positive note, the wait staff during the reception was awesome. They made sure me and my husband got to eat, and we were served first which was awesome. One of my main concerns was that I wasn't going to be able to eat, as many veteran brides had told me that was their experience but I had the exact opposite! I ate my entire meal and was stuffed by the end. I had one girl who was so much fun and was singing and dancing as she was cleaning up near the end of the event, and everyone at Crystal Gardens just helped make my day run so smoothly. The venue is so gorgeous and we got some astounding photos, and I had zero worries on my wedding day, and I feel like I was so lucky to have that.

Crystal Gardens is beautiful, there outdoor chapel is such a great place for a ceremony! Valerie, our contact, was professional, understanding, and extremely helpful. There were two ceremonies on the same day as ours and the coordinators were so skilled that you could hardly tell there were two events going on at the same time. The Celebrity Room was where our reception was held, very intimate, and the perfect size for our 150 guests. All of our guests were extremely impressed with the venue as a whole and the staff was so nice and courteous. Great Place to have a wedding!

I am so glad I had my reception at CG. The staff there is always willing to answer questions and help solve any issues you may have. The only concern I had was my chair covers (which I made clear which ones I wanted 6 months prior). One week before the wedding, I got a call saying the company CG goes through didn't have enough. I had to make an extra trip to figure out new ones (apparently everyone had the same color scheme that weekend). However, they must have called five different places trying to find something that worked. They also stepped up when another vendor fell behind.

Jessica @ Crystal Gardens did so much to make our day perfect, even down to a last minute change in the linen colors! She responded to my e-mails quickly. The catering staff was professional and hardworking, and all of our guests said how delicious the food was. The only problem we had was with the cake--I sent two photos as examples of what we wanted. One of the photos was a cake that was done int he colors we wanted, the other cake was the design we wanted. We ended up getting ONLY the cake that was the color we wanted, with the design of that cake, too, which didn't match our theme and was a real disappointment since we paid $900 for it. I would recommend only sending one example of the exact cake you want. It was otherwise a quality cake, well-done, but entirely inappropriate for our theme.

Very happy with Crystal Gardens Howell!!! Our wedding was wonderful!!

We had our wedding here last weekend and it was amazing. Valerie, Laura, and Kari were so wonderful throughout my entire planning process. They are extremely accommodating, helpful and reply to any question in a fast manor. The food was awesome, the decor is breathtaking and the packages they offer are amazing. This Crystal Gardens is way classier, fancier, and luxurious than the one in South gate...its like a whole different place. They made my wedding unforgettable! I cannot say enough!

We had a great ceremony and reception at Crystal Gardens. First, with our ceremony, Barbara was so amazing. If you are thinking of having your ceremony here - do it! She made it all no-nonsense and no worries. The only thing that was a little strange was when I first arrived with my bridal party, the young lady greeting guests had no idea where the bridal rooms were (I did - thankfully) and had no idea how to take me there. Her job was to greet guests and take them to the appropriate place so I was a little worried about that. She did say she was new, but I guess I figured she'd be trained better. HOWEVER, besides that hiccup, the day was great. I did go check on my room (the Celebrity Room) and my centerpieces weren't exactly how I wanted but the staff fixed them as soon as I said something. Our room captain, Christina, was AMAZING. She was attentive but not in the way. She was great! Our bartender was also wonderful. She had drinks ready as soon as you walked up to the bar - all our guests commented on how great she was. There was never a back up at the bar, that's for sure. The food was good, not amazing, but banquet food. The fish was delicious but the beef was just okay. Overall, if we had to do it again, we'd choose Crystal Gardens in a heartbeat!

This venue is so beautiful. They are very good at getting back to you right away and being very clear on everything. They were very helpful with everything. I got married in Feb. so their prices were affordable, but I don't know about the summer months. Plus they are willing to change around their menue to fit your budget. We did one less meat and I was worried that their wouldnt be enough options but boy was I wrong. Their was a ton of food and everyone was very happy with it. I would recommend this venue to everyone.

Crystal Gardens was a great venue for our wedding. Our wedding planner always responded to me right away and provided me with whatever I needed. They are there to really help you if you need assistance planning along the way or are happy to sit back and let you take charge. They are not very flexible though in terms of decorating. They do have some restrictions in terms of hanging things which I ran into. However, the reason their rooms are so beautiful naturally is because they have these restrictions and they don't allow their walls or ceilings to get destroyed. I would highly recommend for any event.

The night was 100% of what we wanted it to be, nothing could have changed that. The food at Crystal Gardens was good, the package deal great, the bartender was busy and kept a smile on his face, and the facility was clean and set up nicely. The only thing we would've had differently was the gentleman in the hallway who I guess acts as a security of some sort. He was rude to a few of our guests including my maid of honor, flower girl (who is 2.5), and a bridesmaid. He also interupted the signing of the marriage license because he needed someone to bring our dog outside asap. (He was allowed for the ceremony.)

I would highly recommend having your wedding reception or event at Crystal Gardens. We had our reception on March 1, 2014. It was beautiful! Our winter package had great deals on cake, chair covers, and dj service. Our event captain, Karen, was top notch. She made sure everything ran smoothly, and kept me in the loop all night. The bartenders and servers were wonderful and professional. We received so many compliments on the food and cake! Everything was delicious. Valerie, in the office was very prompt to respond to my emails and questions throughout the planning process. Their were 3 events on the night of my reception, but I wouldn't have know it from the personal attention we received all night.

We had a great experience with Crystal Gardens. The wait staff catered to my needs the entire night. They told us information that we needed and talked us through each step of the night as they did it. They informed us our DJ was running late so they provided their own music. They told us when the DJ came. They told us when dinner was to be served and always asked us if we needed anything.

The meal was great and I loved everything about it. The room was beautifully decorated and they followed all my detail instruction perfectly. Everything I dropped off was put in place exactly as indicated. No worries.

The entry way made for some great pictures that I can't wait to see. We had taken pictures outside and inside the banquet area. It was beautiful.

We had our reception here and our guests could not give us enough compliments. The service we received on the wedding day was stellar.

Jessica in the office is amazing...I can't say enough good things about her. She always responded to me promptly and answered all of my questions.

However, The person we originally signed our contract with was fired because she missed too many details and we were not informed until problems started arising. It would have been nice to get a heads up and have someone go over the information with us to make sure nothing was missing.

We were supposed to get our cake, DJ and invitations through CG. Well the cake and DJ were wonderful and we did go through CG for those but the invitations were a nightmare. Everything was extra on top of the additional price per head we were already paying. We ended up changing our contract (only because we were doing this so far in advance) and not getting our invitations through CG...we saved almost $100 off of the contract price before extras and almost $1100 once the extra fees were factored in.

The food was amazing (many of our guests are still talking about it). I (the bride) have food allergies and they were very accomodating, but when my meal was served it was a steak not the Prime Rib I had asked for. They changed my meal without asking me first. I understand why, but I had already made sure I could eat the Prime Rib before I asked for it. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed when I got an overcooked steak instead of the Prime Rib that my guests are still raving about.

Despite the minor hiccups, CG was a wonderful place to have my reception and I would recommend it to anyone.

Crystal Gardens was the perfect venue for our wedding. Through the process, from our months of planning to the day of execution, the sales office was extremely open in communication, very transparent, and willing to look into menu modifications or special requests. The outdoor chapel was beautiful for our ceremony, the venue was the perfect size for our guests, the meal was delicious, and the DJ kept the party going for us. It was all very seamless. All of our vendors work with Crystal Gardens frequently. Mobile Rhythms Entertainment did the music for our ceremony and reception, we were thrilled with the job Ron did for us. Lana's Dough Delights made our cake, all of our guests said this was some of the best cake they have ever had. A couple family members said they had 3-4 slices. Beautiful events did our flowers and she is very knowledgeable about the venue and how to work with CG. The only part of the process that could have been better was dealing with Crystal Gardens wedding coordinator, Barbara. She was over bearing and wanted to cut things out of our ceremony. With as many weddings as they do, we understand she needs to run a tight ship. But it felt like she wanted our wedding to be cookie cutter. Luckily, Rev. Brian Tuttle (highly recommend his services) went to bat for us and made sure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted. Overall, we would definitely recommend Crystal Gardens to future couples ready to get married!

We had our wedding at Crystal Gardens in June. Valerie was our event coordinator. She was very helpful for us as we planned our wedding from out of state. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service that we were provided. A few tidbits that I wish I would have known before booking... The chapel coordinator is very hands on and you wont meet her until the rehearsal so be prepared, there is no place for the guys to get ready on-site, the bridal suite does not allow prep in that room or food, avoid the white wine at all costs (its terrible). This makes the review seem terrible but really out of everything, these were the only bad experiences we had. Outside of this, they were extremely flexible and willing to work with us. It was a great value for the price and the wedding chapel is extremely unique.
