Kerri Sent on 10/31/2017We are so thankful we booked Crystal for our engagement and wedding photos. Gosh, she was so nice to be around (even in moments when I was stressed) and just so GOOD at what she does. My husband and I are not pose-people . . . we wanted a photographer who could capture candid moments with subtlety. That is one of her most valuable strengths for sure (from our standpoint anyway). Along with creative framing, boundless energy, positive and calm attitude/presence, timeliness, responsiveness, photo editing (adjusting colors/tones/saturation/etc). We think he was worth every penny and would recommend her to anyone. We actually already recommended him to our good friends who got married a few months after us, and they hired her and loved her also.
Crystal was very brave and fun with our just-married couple portraits on our wedding day . . . it was POURING and stormy outside. We thought it was kind of cool, and she was happy to brave the weather and get some awesome shots of us out in the rain. We all wore rainboots, our umbrella was almost flying away, it was far from ideal in many ways, but it is also one of our fondest memories from that night. Crystal was up for anything and we had a blast. She was also very gracious and scheduled a time with us to get some more shots of us in our wedding outfits on another (sunnier) day, which was awesome.
Overall, Crystal is creative, adventurous, positive, and just darn good at capturing moments.

Caroline Sent on 10/09/2017Crystal captured more about our day than I could have imagined possible. Her gentle suggestions were beyond helpful and she has some kind of magic ability to be practically invisible and yet present in 5 places at the same time! The colors and emotions she sees and photographs are my favorite memories of our wedding day. She's DEFINITELY the kind of person you want around your family and friends during intimate and special times! She is friendly and she gives great direction- and is not overbearing at all! We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and the pictures we now have forever!

She was kind, patient, and listened to what was important for my husband and I throughout the planning process. We knew we made the right choice when we saw the gorgeous engagement photos she shot! On our wedding day, she took initiative to keep us on track. She made the whole shooting process fun and comfortable for us. As a result, the photos were everything we wanted and more! She did an incredible job capturing each special moment. Thanks again Crystal for creating such beautiful memories!

Between the engagement photos, the wedding portraits, the wedding pictures, and all the stuff in-between AND AFTER, Crystal was incredible. Her husband Jay works closely with him on most shoots, and he is terrific! The wedding pictures were stunning, and we had most of them within a few days of the wedding. (Some he even displayed on a laptop next to the dance floor at the wedding!). And the wedding (photo) album she created...indescribable!!
