An absolute dream
I do not know where to start... Crystal Ballroom exceeded my expectations! We hired Crystal Ballroom while it was just a space and in the middle of construction. We took a leap of faith in hiring and trusted Alberto in his vision. Well thank God we did because our wedding was a dream! They took my vision/ what I wanted and everything came out better than I could have imagined. During the wedding the staff was so attentive and paid attention to little things such as refilling my alcoholic beverage ;). Thank you Crystal Ballroom for always being there during the process and for making our wedding a dream come true!-

Stunning Venue!
If you’re looking for the perfect venue to have a dreamy wedding, this is it! My wedding was everything I dreamed of and more. Let me start by saying the decor is out of this world, and this was one of the main reasons I chose this place.
Robert and his team will make sure to capture your vision and will bring it to life, like no one else can. I felt like a real princess on my wedding.
The whole team was amazing, I had Andy as my coordinator, Sergio was awesome.. Bottom line is book this place right now, you won’t regret it!-

Crystalballroom was amazing they were flexible with me , mike my coordinator was awesome he was patient understanding and all out amazing .. Luna was awesome from the day I met her until the end . Wedding of my Dreams!
I got married at the Crystal Ballroom and it was the best decision ever! Ai'esha, Oscar, Alberto, Sergio, and the rest of the Crystal Ballroom team went above and beyond to ensure our day was PERFECT-- and it was. Everyone can not stop ranting and raving about how beautiful and CLEAN everything was. The team not only answered my 10000 calls, but they made sure that we felt comfortable every step of the way, while ensuring we were staying in budget. Thank you team from the bottom of my heart! -

Best Venue Ever!
Crystal Ballroom is the most fantastic place! After finding this venue on a whim and booking right away I was super excited! Once I saw this venue and met Alberto I knew there wasn’t anywhere else I would get married. Actually until I saw this venue I wasn’t even excited to start planning because planning can be soooo stressful! With the help of the CB Team my day was stress free! The crystal ballroom team is more than amazing! Working with them was the best experience of all! Thank you to Sergio, Raquel, Mike and of course our Dear Alberto for making our day extra fun and fantastic. Love you guys! We will definitely be back to renew our vows! -

Beautiful venue
Very beautiful and stunning venue overlooking the beach. This venue was everything a bride could dream of. We found this venue by following Elvis/Broward Catering on Facebook and fell in love with it instantly. Everything about this place is beautiful....the chandeliers, marble floors, the decor....Very spectacular. If you're looking for a dream wedding then this is the place. Our guests really enjoyed themselves and tney can't stop talking about this venue. Thanks Crystal Ballroom for making our wedding a memorable one. -

Breathtaking
I decided to have my wedding at Crystal Ball Room when it was literally nothing but gray concrete walls. I put my trust in them and they came through. Alberto helped me majority of the way. The venue has two separate rooms, one for ceremony and the other for reception. Both rooms decorated to the max. Its just breathtaking. I did have one hiccup a week before my wedding, but Alberto made it his duty to help as much as he could. Please when initially booking make sure you ask all questions down to “How many quest are included in this package?”
“If I ended up with more guest 10 days before my event, how much is each person?” Or “ Who will manager my food?”
At Crystal Ball Room, you have to bring your own Liquor and Food. Anything that you want to be eaten you have to bring on your own which is good because you save alot more money. I would recommend getting your liquor from Total Wine & Sprits because they accept returns for what’s unopened.
Ask Alberto about all monies due, you do not want to be stuck paying an extra $1100 a week before your weeding, its very stressful. So, if you can pay for those extra 50 guest or their food management upfront and ask if you pay upfront and decide not to use the service will you be REIMBURSED ( better safe than sorry).
A con I found about Crystal Ball Room is that the bridal suit bathroom Didnt work. Hopefully it gets fixed. I made it my duty to use the bathroom before my husband arrived so he wouldn’t see me. Im sure that the team would have kept him away too if I had to go.
For liquor, I bought 12 bottles of clear, 15 bottles of henny, 50 bottles champagne, 24pk beer, 6 x 36pk of soda,16 bottles of cranberry, 10 cans pineapple juice, coffee, tea, non alcoholic sparkling, water they provide. My guest count was 130. I had liquor leftover which I returned so I bought more than enough so I didn’t have to worry about running out. Mike was the bartender. He is very pleasant and worked well with my guest. Thank you Mike
Alejandro helped with the rehearsal. He is very open to ideas and knows what he is doing. My wedding went smoothly. I caught him a few times laughing and enjoying himself too so you know he loves what he does.
Overall Crystal Ball Room did an AMAZING job. I wish I could repeat my wedding day. I would choose them all over again. They provide A+ service. Thank you all. As a Bride, I had no worries.

Fabulous Wedding
I had my wedding here October 12th and everything was amazing. Absolutely gorgeous venue. I’m so glad we found Crystal Ballroom. The day was stress free. Alberto and his staff were professional, organized and so nice! The decor was beautiful! The day was perfect. Our family and friends have been telling us how beautiful our day was and this was the best wedding they have attended. I highly recommend this venue! -

Absolutely AMAZING!
The crystal ballroom was fantastic! There is not one negative thing I could say about it. Alberto was amazing from the beginning, from when we booked before construction even started all the way to our big day. He made it all a stress free experience. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything he has done! I would do it all over again in a heart beat. I highly recommend for all your events! Now I just need to figure out another event to have an excuse to go back!! Haha-

Million Dollar wedding, without the Million dollar price tag!
Alberto and his team at Crystal Ballroom Beach Place we’re a dream to work with. We booked this venue a year ago, when the venue was still a blueprint- literally not even constructed yet. I just had a feeling that Alberto would get everything done in time, as he had such a great attitude about it. Sure enough, they held their grand opening the week before our wedding! We couldn’t have been luckier than to find Berto- this venue provides the option for brides to bring in their own outside vendors, which helped us immensely cut down on wedding costs. Berto and his team provided the beautiful, brand new wedding ceremony and reception space as well as decor (including flowers!). He has such an eye for design, he created for us such a glamorous and beautiful wedding.
I HIGHLY recommend the Crystal Ballroom for your ceremony and reception needs. Berto will produce a Million dollar wedding for you, without the Million dollar price tag!-

Wendy/Bride wedding Coordinator
Last Saturday, June 15th was my cousins wedding and I was honored to work with an amazing crew from Crystal Ballroom Beach Place. Albert and Alejandro were amazing with what they do, excellent communication, professional, fun. We had an all day wedding and there was absolutely nooooo hiccups no issues no problem. The decoration was elegant, classy and sexy. It was breath taken. Everything was amazing. I highly recommend this place and the staff for any occasion. I have nooooo words to explain how great the place and the team was. If you want a wedding, sweet 16 or any other event call Albert he is the one person you would to have any conversation and help you plan your event. There is nothing I would change about this place or the staff to be honest.

Alberto expertly planned our wedding in the summer of 2016 at the Casselberry location. My husband was in the military and stationed in California, while I lived and was planning our wedding in Orlando. If the distance wasn’t a big enough challenge, there were several last minute ‘dramas’ that required schematics to be changed in several different categories. Alberto did an incredible job planning, coordinating, and mitigating all of the nuances that resulted from beginning to end. He took an enormous amount of stress off of me by handling so many of the details of our wedding and remaining flexible throughout the entire process.
He is one of the most generous, outgoing, creative and talented individuals I have had the privilege of working with. He turns obstacles into opportunities and dreams into reality. The Crystal Ballroom has amazing décor and ambience, coupled with Alberto’s ingenuity; made our special day; memorable and magical! I would highly recommend the Crystal Ballroom venues and Alberto to anyone wanting a sophisticated and impressive experience!

Very professional, affordable for their packages & good experience overall! Our package included the banquet manager, day of coordinator and bartender. Since we were planning this wedding from the west coast, this venue provided a lot of hassle free set up and coordination for my family and I. The only suggestions I would make is to make sure the DJ is informed about last call for drinks, that the parking vouchers are given to guests and that you can coordinate seeing your venue all set up prior to everyone else (a little harder when the bride and groom are trying to avoid each other). The designing team did an excellent job, and our wedding day went pretty smoothly overall. -

Wedding Experience
Our overall wedding experience was decent, a little disappointed in the fact that none of the candles were lite and was told that fire Marshall was present and that they would inquire a $15k fine if they lite the candles but on their insta story it showed another wedding with their candles lite so that didn’t make sense however, it was still a decent wedding, Sergio is super sweet, but I wish I could have got what I paid for when it came to the candles... not being lite really dropped the bombshell in a negative way.. if you book make sure you get what you requested ... either way I’m happy but still bumbed out a bit.. paid lots of $ and didn’t get what I 100% expected .. -

Amazing Everything!
The Crystal Ballroom Beach Place gave me the most magical wedding ever. Alberto, Raquel, Mike, and Sergio really did an amazing job. Alberto, Raquel, and Mike were excellent at making the night run as smooth as possible. They were flexible in most of the requests I had and if they could not do something, they either gave me a thorough explanation as to why or they offered me excellent alternatives. But for the most part, they accommodated everything we wanted. On the design front, the place is GORGEOUS and if you are trying to save money on flowers/centerpieces, this is your place. They have tons of vases, crystals, and fake flowers to create almost any design you want. I highly recommend this place to any bride. It has the glam look without the glam price tag! -

Overall experience was beautiful, and unforgettable.
I did my wedding at Crystal Ballroom on 3/19/23. It was such a beautiful wedding. Mike the coordinator was very detail oriented, and helped the process be very smooth. Robert the designer was absolutely phenomenal! I know I wasn’t easy to deal with because I myself am very detail oriented, and when I have a vision I try my best to get to it as much as possible. Robert really understood what I wanted, and his designs were flawless. The ceremony, and reception looked so BEAUTIFUL. It was a dream come true! Thank you both so much for all your hard work!
Some areas of opportunities
- The day I got there to unload all the liquor (which was the day of the rehearsal) my husband and I had to unload everything ourselves, Mike did help as well. However, it would have been nice to have a couple more people of the Crystal ballroom team to help unload the liquor as it was A LOT. The process would have been smoother.
- The day of my wedding it was hard to get in contact with Mike, I tried calling him a couple times to let him know that my vendors were arriving. Thankfully Robert answered my phone calls, and my vendors were able to enter the venue.
- My “his and hers” drinks were Margaritas & Mojitos, all my guest were complaining to me letting me know that the bartender was making the margaritas too salty. The actual margarita liquid was salty on the inside (they weren’t complaining about the rim).
- 4 of my tables didn’t get served rice. My wedding was buffet style. The caterer made sure to bring enough food for 120 people, and I only had 95 guests. There should have been more than enough food. However, the servers were serving a mountain of rice to the first couple of tables, and this lead to 4 tables NOT receiving rice. They were only able to eat protein & plantains. This was a bummer. I wish Mike or the food manager was there to supervise the serving/portions of the food in order for everyone to be served enough food.
Everything else was amazing! Thank you all for your hard work! Definitely a night to remember.-

Very deceptive, negligrnt, and money hungry
Sergio ruined my wedding by promising me a huge dummy wedding cake and prsented me with an empty table the day of. Also, they refused to pay me back my 500 security deposit in a timely manner. There was no damage done to the property. -

I had the pleasure/displeasure of securing this venue long before the first tile was laid. Initially I was excited due to the fast talking sales pitch that Alberto presented. Alberto showed us a photo slideshow of various wedding decor from previous weddings supposedly held at other Crystal Palace locations with the promise of allowing us to choose our own decor/ table setup / centerpieces etc. First and foremost people check your contract ; venue pricing contract starts around 10K and is only for 100 guests, any additional guest can costs you $25 per head & they charge you an additional $3.00 per guests for gratuity! We were told that we would be allowed to choose our setup decor from the various inventory items they would have on hand as we approached our celebratory day! Well the day came for us to visit the Venue in order to make a selection on these items, referencing table setup as well as the color scheme along with the decor or lack there of. The venue itself is absolutely stunning ; however the inventory is minimal , they only offer one type of the following inventory items : chargers plates ( beaded crystal, flatware , cake table stand, a white LOVE stand ; (which we mentioned on several occasions to Alberto we did not want as part of the decor) yet it somehow appeared in the same area we requested to have it removed from, and only one style of napkins which are satin . I’m unsure as to how many designs of napkin rings they have , we requested all padded chairs and was told they did not have 175 of those , so 20 of our guests were forced to sit in clear plastic chairs with no padding ; which became uncomfortable after sitting for 4 hours . Alberto is all about money and will say anything to convince you to go for broke . Needless to say they are recycling the same style of decor for all of clients! They can’t provide you with 20 identical sets of anything including centerpieces , ie... candelabras, cylinder vases etc... He (Alberto) refused to return our $500 deposit once our event was over stating it was for his labor of removing peel & stick monogrammed artwork from the 20 chairs we did not wish to have initially after we were told that his crew would remove them for the inconvenience of not having the padded chairs we needed to accommodate our 175 guests. Verbatim “ I was told by him , because he received a bad review due to being 8 chairs short for a venue held the following day he was keeping our deposit” I reminded him we had the same concern when you shorted us the 20 padded chairs we requested yet we paid you ! The staff is exceptionally cordial , I enjoyed working with Alejandro the banquet manager ( Alberto charged us an additional $400 for his service ), as well as the rest of the staff , despite them collecting the napkin ring holders in the middle of us enjoying our meal entree. I will be contacting a lawyer and notifying all my family and friends and requesting they spread the word to not support this business , and sharing this review daily on every social media site to bring awareness to any potential client of what to expect for 10k-15k if they elect to secure this venue !

Beautiful venue, absolutely nightmare service!
If I could give zero stars, I would.
My wedding at Crystal Ballroom Beach Place was supposed to be one of the most joyful and memorable days of my life, but the venue's unprofessionalism and disorganization created a number of unnecessary and inexcusable issues. Despite sending several detailed formal complaints, I have yet to receive any response. The complete lack of accountability and customer service is appalling.
Since they want to ignore me, I will leave my very detailed complaint here:
* Despite being promised both a banquet captain and a day-of coordinator, we received one individual attempting to handle both roles. This change was communicated at the rehearsal, leaving no time for adjustments, insufficiency, and causing significant disorganization.
* Throughout the planning process, we were introduced to three different day-of coordinators. While Mushi was excellent, Andie was unresponsive, failed to send follow-up emails, and ignored specific requests. Gus, who handled the day-of, was underprepared, misinformed, and unable to manage the execution effectively.
* The day-of event coordinator was responsible for creating and implementing a timeline for the wedding day, as outlined in the contract. However, this was completely neglected, forcing me to create the timeline myself and disseminate the information to the coordinator and others during the week of the wedding.
* After our grand entrance into the reception, Gus was noticeably absent and did not manage the first dance, parent dances, or other critical elements as outlined in the invoice, quote, and contract. He only reappeared when it was time to introduce a surprise performance as dancing began and then again when it was time for the send-off.
* The memorial table was improperly set up in the ceremony space, despite clear instructions to place it solely in the reception area.
* The cocktail hour, explicitly requested to be held on the patio, was ignored. It began in the ceremony space until we intervened, and even then, the patio lacked tables, seating, and decor. This was especially disappointing as we specifically chose this venue and ceremony time to provide our guests with a beautiful sunset view of the ocean during cocktail hour.
* The seating chart was mismanaged, with the sign placed incorrectly, tables assigned improperly, and redundant table numbers displayed despite instructions to use only the ones we designed. The bride had to personally point this out to Gus.
* The processional order of our bridal and groom parties was rearranged without our consent, causing confusion and undermining the carefully planned flow of the ceremony.
* The welcome sign was not placed at the ceremony entrance table. Instead, the gift card box was incorrectly placed there and not at the designated reception table, as instructed. The bride had to personally point this out to Gus.
* Décor lacked the vibrancy we discussed and agreed upon during the planning process. We were never shown an example of the centerpieces, and the result did not align with our vision.
* The lighting in the reception room, meant to be burnt orange, required multiple corrections during the event despite prior instructions.
* The dessert station still had dinner chafing pans on it when it was time for dessert, directly violating Addendum - Food Manager Policy: Section 4(n) of the contract, which requires the dinner buffet to be broken down promptly after service.
* The dancing on the cloud effect malfunctioned during our first dance, and the sparklers did not go off at the correct time. These moments, meant to be highlights, were ruined.
* Guests were not properly directed to the bubble send-off area, leaving no one gathered at the correct location for the send-off at the staircase. They were also inappropriately asked to return their bubble favors after the send-off, a request we never authorized.
* Bar inventory was not fully accounted for, with missing open and unopened bottles despite instructions for their return.
* Décor items were returned damaged, and many extra wedding favors remain unreturned.
* We were forced to make multiple trips to the venue to retrieve items that should have been returned in a timely manner after the event.
These issues weren't minor. They were the result of negligence, poor planning, and clear disregard for a paying client. And to make matters worse, after expressing my concerns professionally and clearly in a written complaint, I received no response. Not even an acknowledgment.
I would strongly caution any couple considering this venue. The space may look beautiful, but behind the scenes is a team that does not operate with care, communication, or integrity. Once they have your money, the service stops.
Save yourself the stress, the heartbreak, and the disappointment. Choose a venue that not only delivers but also respects and values the trust you place in them. -

The absolute worst experience ever!!!!!
Where do I begin, my wedding was last year November, and I am still traumatized by the experience. There were so many unprofessional behaviors by the staff, but the one that did it for me was my wedding colors being completely different than what we discussed, agreed to and talked about even the night before the actual wedding. The ac was not working and the staff used two fans, one in the ceremony room and one in the reception room the entire time of the event. The coordinator, whom I paid an extra $700 plus for did not do her job on the day of the event, I was so frustrated when both the DJ and the host kept coming to me asking for the program, wanting to know what comes next. I was promised a conversation with someone after the wedding to discuss possible refund due to all the complications, no one returned any of my calls or emails. I would have let it go had I not kept receiving emails from the company asking me to complete a questionnaire which I did prior to my event. We are approaching a year and I am still receiving reminders to fill that form out, but no one is returning any of my calls or emails about a possible refund. The worst venue ever, no one I know will ever rent this place for any event, even if it is the last place on earth available. -

Not what I expected
I am not the type that writes reviews for businesses but after taking several days to reflect on my experience at Crystal Ballroom FTL I felt compelled to write this. So to start off in February when I initially put down my first two deposit for my wedding in December, I was sold on Alberto’s sales pitch of having a smooth wedding experience at his newly renovated “All Inclusive” venue and that the only thing that we needed to provide was food and liquor. He boasted about his vast variety of decorations, napkins, table runners, and silk floral options to choose from only to be offered two types of silver table runners, one style of wine colored napkins, and one style of black cocktail table covers with our choice of gold or silver runners which I noticed was never changed from gold to silver on the day of my wedding. So not only did this venue lack in decorations they also lacked in professionalism and communication. I found that a lot of information was missed during the few times I got to meet with Alberto, one of which he was an hour and a half late to and ended up cutting our meeting down to only 15 minutes so a lot of my questions were left unanswered and getting someone on the phone was almost impossible. After a while I started to feel like the entire process was more like a business deal than my wedding.
After I made my final deposit for my wedding, I received a call from Alberto a week later inquiring about my “Financial Status” apparently he lost track of my first two deposits in February so they were never applied to my account and showed that I had an outstanding balance which was incorrect. After confirming each payment made to him and helping him track down my payment history, I never received an apology. The week prior to my wedding day I got another call from Alberto informing me that I had a balance of $1000 to pay, $500 for the security deposit and $500 for gratuity which were due on the day of my wedding rehearsal that was not included in my final invoice. When I asked him why he reminded me about it so close to my wedding date he stated, “Well I thought your planner would have written this down and reminded you” keep in mind, the last real meeting we had with him where he discussed any information like this was 10 months ago when I decided to book him and I somehow feel that he neglected to remind me because I opted out of using his event planner for my wedding. After that day It only went left from there.
On the day of my wedding rehearsal Alberto kept mixing up my ceremony and cocktail hour locations up, it was almost as if he never actually took a look at my wedding file at all and insisted that he told me to bring over my liquor for inventory when he never discussed that with me. When my wedding day finally came, and I walked down the aisle towards the alter I could think of how hot and smoldering the ceremony area was. I knew that they had an issue with the A.C in that area but when I addressed it a couple of months back, I was told that it would have been resolved prior to my wedding and it wasn’t. Not only was the A.C. broken but so was the dancing on the clouds machine, which my husband’s best man had to fix, and apparently their Gobo name projector which I only found out about six days after my wedding day and only after I didn’t see it in any of my pictures. Had I not noticed I doubt Alberto would have told me about it and I would have been out $300 for a service I did not receive. All together my overall experience at Crystal Ballroom was very unpleasant and I only wish these 1-star reviews were available prior to me booking my wedding with them.

Please remember to take inventory for everything you bring; somehow two out of my 3 boxes of 12 pack Laskey burgundy taper candles went missing and I had to go back 2x to get items that weren’t put in my section after the wedding like my unity candles and cake knives. -

Do your research first
Before booking this venue please stop and do your research. The prices fluctuate from day to day. Nothing is really set in stone. Read through these comments and see for yourself the unprofessionalism from the manager ! Who argues with people in reviews !!! I want you to hear me out before booking the venue. Stop and research, call a planner, look at your options because I GUARANTEE you can find something for the same price that offers way more than crystal ballroom. ASK SOMEONE FIRST, CALL A PLANNER. Do not book impulsively. The owner is there to sell you a dream that’s all. When you go visit he will make you feel like this is it. Not saying not to book him but research first. You have to pay for parking, your guest can end up paying up to 40 dollars depending on the day. Traffic is AWFUL always !!! The decor is very basic and there really are not much options to choose from. It’s your wedding day, don’t settle please, you can find better, research before booking. You will get charged extra for everything and that adds up ! Read the contract line by line, look for other venues, weight out your options. And then book. -
