The Best Ever
Crystal was amazing from start to finish. She was very communicative and supportive from start to finish. My husband and I are not really photogenic, but with every shoot she was able to pull it out of us. We booked her for both our engagement shoot and the wedding in TN. The process was smooth, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have had such a talented artist on our special day. If you’re needing a photographer, do not hesitate to book Crystal for any of your special events. She is the best! -

Crystal was simply amazing! Her attention to detail and keen knowledge of positioning and lighting was unmatched. She captured every special moment of not only our wedding party, but she also captured the guests while naturally engaging with attendees. We have our pictures within a week and LOVE the clarity. Personalized Service w/ Excellence
Crystal was absolutely amazing! Her and her team helped me and my husband (who normally feel awkward posing for pictures) feel comfortable and at ease. Crystal made us feel very comfortable during our engagement session and had patience w/our fur baby during the shoot. She was also very accommodating when we had to change our wedding date. Wedding day was great and felt like we were working with family. -

Engagement shoot in Atlanta
My experience with Crystal was simply magical! She is very professional and goes out of her way to make sure her clients are GOOD! First, when I contacted her she immediately tried to call me to talk through my needs and her approach. A few days before my shoot, she called me with ideas of how to bring my vison to life. She had already thought about the perfect locations and set up for our shoot based on the outfit images I had sent her. The day of the shoot she was very understanding and adjusted the time slightly because my make-up took longer. Finally when I got there I simply felt at ease. Everything was just perfect. She made us confortable, told us what to do, included shots we wanted, and even recreated one of our early days poses based on a story I told her without me asking. Photos came back amazing looking. Planning a wedding is already stressful. The likes of Crystal is the type of vendors you need! Do yourself a favor and book her! -

Photographer
Crystal and Tara were absolutely wonderful! They were on top of every moment. They were efficient and patient. It was obvious how they worked so well together and communicated.
Throughout the day Crystal was positive and upbeat while working so hard. While photography can sometimes be long or tiring, she really brought a great spirit to the experience. The results are stunning! It's been a long time since we have seen someone so dedicated to their craft. She had fun and creative ideas for poses and group shots. She helped us know exactly how to be (for the not so photogenic lol). I also love Crystal's style of editing with bright, crisp colors, which drew me to her in the first place. We couldn't be happier with Crystal for our precious wedding memories. -

Crystal is hands down the best! She is professional, timely, and has a gorgeous style. My husband and I used her for our engagement pictures and wedding and were blown away by the quality of her work and her fast turnaround. We felt like models! Crystal is truly a gem and was an amazing person to work with. We originally were only going to hire her for our wedding, but decided to have a redo on our engagement photos -- best decision ever. During our engagement session, she helped us with our positions -- hand placement, our faces, wardrobe, etc. We were able to have fun and be ourselves and she captured that.
The Pre/Post Wedding Day
I would say Crystal was like my 3rd mom/therapist because I was able to call her about any situation that was happening with my wedding. She has so much experience in life and marriage, I was just thankful for her opinions. Before the wedding day, we had called to discuss timelines, she attended my rehearsal, and kept everyone on point on the day of.
She made me feel confident in myself and my body with posing. I get very awkward when I'm the center of attention, but when she gases you up, you can let go!
To my future brides:
HIRE CRYSTAL! We didn't hire a videographer because we knew Crystal's work would do us justice. You'll want to save your money for the photographer because when you have a little too much, you'll need a photographer to capture your moments. If your wedding starts in the evening (6-6:30), make sure you consider how much time Crystal gives you and make sure you discuss your timeline with her, because she uses every single hour. I added an extra hour so we could have the hair/makeup session + getting ready captured.
Your day will be over in a blink, so please make sure you have someone with plenty of experience and comes highly recommended by other brides. Check out her Instagram!

Done with ease
Crystal did our engagement (2019) and wedding photos (2021). I’m such a nervous person when it come to taking photos because I hate all attention directed on me but Crystal made me so comfortable by adding humor to both shoots. It was like having a friend amp you up while out with the girls. She was also very understanding and flexible with rescheduling once the pandemic hit. We were originally scheduled for June 2020 but shifted to June 2021. -

Photography was one of the three most important items on our wedding list (along with venue and catering). After the day is over, all you have are the pictures to look back on. The photographer also spends the whole day with you so, in addition with quality of photography style, I was looking for personality.
Crystal is a whole vibe! I talked to a handful of photographers but when I got to her, it was like talking to a homegirl. Funny and down to earth. I liked her so much, I took the risk and booked her for both engagement and wedding photos. It really wasn’t a risk though. She brought the energy and kept us laughing and looking good on both days. These were the highlights of my experience with her:
• Paused payment schedule during layoff/pandemic without me asking.
• Hyped my husband up to me! She came into my suite and was like gurrrllll your husband is looking good! I was too ready to see him after that ( he was fine fine).
• Handled annoying family member taking pics in her way with tact.
• Received proofs and final album ahead of schedule. I jumped up and down with childlike glee when I received them.
• Helped me recreate shots from my late moms wedding photos. It was after 10 pm when I saw them, and I IMMEDIATELY texted her, I was so happy!
She understood the assignment and then some. Go on ahead and book her! -

My forever photographer!
Crystal was the wedding photographer at my best friend’s wedding and from the moment we met, I knew she was a gem. When my time approached to say my "I Do's", she was the first photographer that came to my mind. My husband and I feel choosing her was one of our best wedding day decisions. Not only is she extremely talented, but she is a great spirit all around. She has the ability to make someone like me (very OCD and particular about events especially my wedding) feel calm and at peace. I was so relaxed on my wedding day, because Crystal took the time to listen to my needs, familiarize herself with the venue beforehand, and was so professional yet fun to work with. We did not have any concerns about our wedding day and our wedding pictures are phenomenal. She truly captured the day in such a special way. My favorite parts and moments are taking our couple portraits especially in front of the winery, the details, and get ready pictures with my bridesmaids. I get compliments from strangers saying they can feel the energy and love in the pictures. We chose our venue because of our love for wineries. She took pictures of my dress near wine barrels and our rings with wine corks. She just knew what to do because she genuinely got to know us as a couple. At first, I didn’t see the importance of all the detail pictures, but those are some of my favorite pictures. My husband and I often call Crystal “our forever photographer” and that’s because we truly cannot see anyone giving us a full package like she does. I will always recommend her to a friends and can easily show proof of her talents, but it’s her passion and spirit that makes her a real pleasure to work with. You have to be able to trust your photographer to capture the most incredible moments of your life and I completely trust her. I thank God He connected us and look forward to all the captured moments in the future. -

Incredible Experience!
Working with Crystal Artis was one of the highlights of my wedding experience. We actually booked Crystal before we booked our venue to ensure that we did not miss out on an opportunity to work with her. We chose her package that included the engagement photo shoot and a second photographer, which we highly recommend! Having the engagement photo shoot with Crystal allowed us to get to know her bubbly and warm personality and her style of photography as well as utilize those photos for our save the dates and website. Despite the odds (inclement weather and fast-approaching sunset), our engagement shoot photos were absolutely stunning and gave us all the confidence we needed (and more) that photos of our wedding day would be beautiful.
Of course on our wedding day, Crystal performed! Her eye for poses, light, angles, etc is absolutely incredible. We were so impressed with the way in which she directed the shots to create the most beautiful photos we have ever seen. We also recommend her package with a second photographer because of the varying angles that they were able to capture of very special moments to us and because it allowed for more coverage of the wedding since one person obviously cannot be in two places at once. Choosing Crystal as our wedding photographer was the best decision that my husband and I made in our wedding planning process. We highly recommend her and cannot wait to work with her in the future! -

Absolute Perfection
Well... where do I start? I live in SC, and was planning a destination wedding in Florida. For months, I searched for a photographer in the Tampa area that felt "right." When I couldn't find one in that area that fit our needs, I reached out to a friend who got married in ATL for a recommendation, and was given Crystal's info. Our initial phone consultation sealed the deal! First and foremost, what a beautiful spirit and personality!! I felt like I had known her for years!!! She is so down to Earth and creative. She is truly a professional at her craft and made the process so easy. Not to mention, our pics turned out GREAT!
