Highly Recommend DJ Samir and Crown Entertainment

We had the absolute pleasure of working with DJ Samir for our wedding weekend, and the experience exceeded every expectation. He did an amazing job of keeping our guests on the dance floor and thoroughly entertained throughout the entire celebration. His emcee skills are top notch and he knows exactly how to get a crowd pumped up during the most important moments.

His music selection was incredible and completely customizable, which meant that the evening perfectly reflected our tastes and our guests' energy. At the end of the night our guests begged for one more song, which says everything.

We would highly recommend DJ Samir to any couple looking for a true professional who brings energy, fun and seamless coordination. He helped make our wedding weekend unforgettable.

From the initial consultation, Sam took the time to understand our vision and preferences, creating a tailored playlist that perfectly captured our unique style. The video wall and lighting were both insane and our guests couldn't stop talking about how cool the setup was. 1000000% recommend!

The best of the best!!

We cannot thank you and Ravi enough for making our wedding in Mexico an unforgettable celebration! From start to finish, the energy was incredible, and the music was absolutely perfect. Your song selection kept both our friends and family entertained throughout the night, with seamless mixes that kept the energy high and the dance floor packed. Ravi with the dhol beats also added the perfect touch.
One of the biggest highlights was the Baraat—hands down one of the best we’ve ever seen! The music was perfectly selected to keep the hype going, and the way you and Ravi built up the energy made it an absolutely electric experience.

Beyond the music, the MC work was top-tier. Our parents couldn’t stop raving about how entertaining and clear the announcements were, making sure everyone felt engaged and knew what was happening throughout the night. It added such a polished touch to the entire experience.

We received countless compliments from our guests about how amazing the music was, and the fact that so many people asked for your contact info just proved we chose the right team. Samir and Ravi, thank you for making our wedding such a success. You both were phenomenal, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to bring our events to life! The absolute best!

We recently had the pleasure of having Crown Entertainment for our wedding, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the incredible service they provided. From start to finish, they played an integral role in making our special day truly unforgettable.

First and foremost, the DJ Samir was phenomenal. He seamlessly curated a playlist that kept the energy alive throughout the entire event. The transitions between songs were smooth, and they effortlessly blended various genres to ensure there was something for everyone. The dance floor was never empty, thanks to their ability to read the crowd and play the perfect tunes at the right moments. Our guests are still raving about how much fun they had, and it's all thanks to the amazing DJ. The photobooth from was also a massive hit. It added an extra layer of entertainment and allowed our guests to create lasting memories. The props were diverse and high-quality, encouraging everyone to unleash their creativity. The attendants were friendly and ensured that the photobooth experience ran smoothly, from helping with props to guiding guests through the process. The personalized photo strips provided a unique keepsake for our guests, and the digital copies allowed us to relive the joyous moments captured during the celebration

We had a mixed Indian and Jewish American wedding. Samir and his team helped for both the sangeet and wedding night. They have great energy, great music, great emcee’ing, were easy to work with, would definitely recommend and use again!!

Incredible DJ for Punjabi/American fusion wedding!!

DJ Samir was INCREDIBLE and kept the dance floor bouncing all night for two nights in a row at our multicultural Punjabi/American fusion wedding! Samir and Ravjeet were there early to set up and start putting on background music before all the events, and reached out many times before the wedding weekend for song requests, first dance songs, and other special requests, such as making a mix for a dance performance at our sangeet. They were able to keep the energy so high at our sangeet and reception that nobody wanted to stop dancing, including the non-Punjabi guests in attendance. His ability to read the room, mix genres of music, and even layer in dhol beats on Western songs made everyone feel included. From the sangeet to the baraat and the reception, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Samir and Crown Entertainment. Whether you are having an Indian or Western wedding (or especially a fusion), they will make your event memorable and your feet hurt from all the dancing. Thank you so much!

Amazing DJ, super flexible, and would absolutely recommend for your wedding, party, or event

I found Samir through a friend, and was immediately impressed with his professionalism, ease to work with, friendliness, and energy. He has been a gem to work with, especially through the entire coronavirus process and has been so flexible with us through all the changes we have had to make. In the end, we had a very small event, and somehow Samir still made us feel special and gave us a wedding and a small reception that I felt like we could be proud of. We both plan to eventually throw a reception party and know that Samir and his team will DJ an amazing party then too! We would recommend him and his team to all of our friends and absolutely want to work with him again in the future.

10/10 Recommend DJ Samir & Team!

DJ Samir and his team were incredible! We had a fusion (Indian/American) wedding, and they crushed it. Everyone on both sides were impressed by his music selection and he was able to cater towards both sides at the dinner party. We had to have a condensed wedding due to COVID, and DJ Samir was able to provide flexibility with the date and was very calm and chill throughout the whole process. Although we didn't get to have our huge party as initially planned, Samir was able to still make sure we had a good time. Highly recommend for any Indian or fusion wedding, 10/10.

LOVE this Team!

Highly recommend DJ Samir and his team! We hired them for an event in Cincinnati, and it was exceptional thanks to Crown Entertainment! Their focus on customer service is amazing, and it was great working with Samir and hearing all the amazing ideas/recommendations that he had to offer. I have also seen them at numerous weddings and they bring so much energy to the whole weekend! If you are looking for a DJ, look no further! They are the best!

Would Highly Recommend!

If I could rate Crown Entertainment 10 stars I would! DJ Samir provided an abundance of services to make my wedding so memorable. Services from dancing on their LED dance floor to having our guests take pictures with their photo booth to providing customized glow sticks and a personalized monogram. With DJ Samir, the dance floor was packed the entire night. Nobody left early. The music and sound was amazing and the uplighting was beautiful. It was the perfect night and I can't thank DJ Samir with Crown Entertainment enough!

Dj Samir is an outstanding professional who tailored to our needs. He explained different packages that would benefit us based on our wedding and our guests. Our experience with Crown Entertainment can be described as none other than perfection. The overall responsiveness, professionalism, and attention-to-detail that DJ Samir presented from the start helped us know that we secured the perfect DJ for our wedding weekend. For all 3 events that we needed him and his team for, they were all prompt and ready to go, hours before each function. Everything from the music, the lighting, to their fantastic emcee was amazing. My biggest case was the music and I loved every song that DJ Samir had mixed in from the start to the end. He had read our crowd perfectly. My wedding would not have been the same without Crown Entertainment. I told them exactly what I wanted and they provided! Everything from the lights to the music was perfect. DJ Samir was truly amazing and very professional. Everyone at the wedding said they had a great time and that he was a fantastic DJ. DJ Samir and MC Sobe were amazing! We used them for our Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony and Reception. We had a fusion wedding (Groom was white and bride was Gujarati) and they did a fabulous job transitioning through the different genres of music. Even with the various wants of the guests they managed to keep everyone on the dance floor. Very impressive! We all were very happy and everyone had a phenomenal time! Furthermore, we hired them very last minute and they did a great job coordinating everything so quickly. They arrived early and made sure everything was set up before the guests arrived. They were professional and courteous! I definitely recommend these two! :)

Hello! DJ Samir was our DJ for our wedding and Sangeet. He was phenomenal and had every guest out dancing! We provided him lists of songs to play/not play and he was very mindful of our list. We had a Indian-American fusion wedding and he knew how to keep both crowds engaged. I'd recommend following up if you do not hear from him as he is busy and works late for DJ service but we were very happy we hired him.

So amazing!!

We hired Crown Entertainment for our wedding and they were amazing! We had Samir for DJ/MC and Ravi as our dholi and they both brought such great energy! Samir had great mixes and a really fun MC personality and Ravi was super interactive with the dance floor all night. I have never seen a dance floor so full and our guests are still raving about how much fun they had! They were both also super friendly and easy to work with :)

Kept the dance floor going!

Crown Entertainment was instrumental in pulling off our big day. We had an Indian/Chinese/Western wedding - 2 ceremonies and 2 receptions all on one day. Samir provided AV services, live Indian music, recorded Indian music, DJ services in the evening, and evening lighting. All of the services he provided were impeccable - we discussed our vision prior to the wedding and didn’t have to worry about a thing on our big day. His music choices were great - we got several compliments on our DJ - the dance floor was lit all night.

I do not have enough words to express my gratefulness for DJ Samir. He went above and beyond to meet my expectations. Even talking to him was so easy, it was one less stress when planning my wedding. We had some changes the day of the reception and he went with the flow! I highly recommend booking Crown Entertainment if you want a fun, enthusiastic and experienced DJ who does it all including the dhol, uplighting, cold sparks and much more!

Great Energy but Details were overlooked

We hired DJ Samir for our wedding and while he brought a lot of energy to the events, there were some key areas where his services fell short.

The main issue was a lack of attention to detail. We provided a thorough DJ sheet with specific instructions, including timings for sparklers and cloud effects and exact song parts for entrances. Unfortunately, he did not follow the sheet and made adjustments without consulting us. These adjustments were upsetting given the amount of time we put into creating a specific vision that was ultimately not executed.

• Reception entrances: The bridesmaids' and groomsmen's entrance songs were incorrect, as he didn’t follow the specified song times, which caused their entrance choreography to not match the music.
• First dance: The clouds and sparklers were mistimed, diminishing the intended impact of the moment.
• Surprise dance: This was the most disappointing. He was given clear written and video instructions to integrate a surprise dance after the toast, without an announcement, followed by sparklers after a backflip. Despite this, he disregarded all instructions which was a major letdown.

After the wedding, we approached DJ Samir with constructive feedback and requested a very fair 4% refund to account for these mistakes. He was unwilling to discuss our concerns or provide any refund, which reinforced our impression that he is not detail-oriented and does not respond well to feedback.

To sum up, DJ Samir’s services are good if you’re looking for someone energetic and engaging. However, if attention to detail and adherence to your vision are important to you, he may not be the best fit. We recommend considering this before booking him.

Out of all our wedding vendors, DJ Samir was the most disappointing to work with. I regret hiring him for our wedding. From the beginning, it was clear that he was not capable of handling this role. He was not capable of keeping track of the payments we’d made to him (incorrectly asking us again and again for payments that had already been made) and completely disregarded the music we requested he play at our wedding events. About two weeks before the wedding, we met with him and explicitly described the type of music we wanted played at our events and provided a sample list of music to work off of. We intentionally said we did not want a ton of Bollywood or Indian music played at our wedding, maybe 10% max. When the time came, he played whatever he wanted at our reception - primarily Bollywood and Punjabi music until we told him to play from the list we had provided. We gave him mixes we had made for all of our performances, but he played the wrong music. He was trying to verify entrance songs as we were lining up for our reception entrance. I had given him this music several days in advance - why did he wait until seconds before we entered to verify with me? We told him everything he needed to know well in advance of the wedding.

Samir has a severe lack of attention to detail which makes him a difficult vendor to work with. Even after the wedding, he waited two months before sending us the final bill after our planner had asked again and again for it and he did not sum the payments correctly. I would not recommend hiring him.
