I'm still smiling thinking about our March wedding - it was absolute perfection at Crossed Keys.
We were originally interested in the venue from the gorgeous pictures we saw online. The grounds are stunning but because we knew we were leaning more towards a winter/early spring wedding and NJ weather is famously unpredictable, we wanted to make sure that the indoor area was beautiful as well. CKE definitely fit the bill.
I have a reputation for being a foodie so I was skeptical of most venues and caterers as we were still deciding, but when Katherine, the owner, told me during our tour that they serve lechon (I'm Filipino and my husband's Peruvian), I thought OH, these people actually know what they're talking about. And I was completely right! Multiple people told us that it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, and we have a pretty tough and selective crowd. I'm not sure how many other venues can serve good lechon and ceviche at a cocktail hour.
The whole team was super communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. Katherine always says to give her a call if you need anything, and she really means it. And the planning spreadsheet they provide you helps you think about lots of things you might otherwise miss.
Jess and her team did such a stunning job on our florals and decor. I think she actually did a better job than the inspiration photos we showed her, which is incredible to say. She was also flexible in working with us within our budget.
Kyle did an amazing job as our maître d’ and was constantly checking up on us throughout the night. My dad said it was like he was "everywhere." And Rosemary, our waitstaff for the night, was also so sweet, making sure we were always topped off and fed.
Danielle was our venue coordinator, but more importantly our literal angel. She was with us every step of the way during planning, and was on top of absolutely everything. On the day of, she didn’t take of just us, but she also showed our families so much kindness. My parents in particular were really grateful to her, especially for helping them resolve a vendor issue, which I had no idea about until after. The day went perfectly from my lens. But that's how you know you have a good coordinator!
From the venue to the food to the decor and the service, the CKE team made what could have been a very stressful day utterly seamless. We felt truly taken care of, and the sweet note and pictures they left us at the end of the night were the cherry on top. We're just hoping to one day be invited as guests to a wedding here so we can experience it all for ourselves!

Our wedding at Crossed Keys Estate was an absolute dream come true!
From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the venue of our dreams. Danielle, our honorary flower girl, was one of the very first people who made that feeling real for us. She radiates kindness and warmth, and from day one, she made us feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Danielle played such a meaningful role in bringing us to Crossed Keys, and we will forever be grateful to her for helping make this dream a reality.
From the very first moment to the final goodbye, every single person we encountered went above and beyond in ways we never could have imagined. This is not just a venue. This is a family.
Traci deserves her own standing ovation. She worked with us for months and never once fumbled a detail. Calm, organized, proactive, and endlessly kind, Traci made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. On the wedding day itself, she was everywhere without ever being intrusive, anticipating needs before we even voiced them. When my bustle broke mid celebration, Traci and Kathrine, the owner, were literally on their hands and knees safety pinning my dress so I could be comfortable and keep dancing. That level of care and professionalism is rare, and it is unforgettable.
Kathrine’s husband personally went to the Inn to retrieve items we forgot. Not once, but twice. That alone says everything you need to know about the people behind this place.
The food deserves serious recognition. Every course was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely incredible. From cocktail hour through dinner, the quality and flavor were consistently next level. Guests are still talking about how good everything was, and several told us it was the best wedding food they have ever had. It was clear that the kitchen takes immense pride in what they serve, and it showed in every bite. The drinks were equally impressive and expertly crafted, adding to an already unforgettable experience.
Every member of the staff was extraordinary, but a very special thank you to Barb, our incredible server, who made it her personal mission to keep us hydrated, fed, and happy. She followed us around all night, making sure we had water, drinks, and that we actually ate. She all but spoon-fed me, fully aware that I was never leaving that dance floor. Thank you for packing us pastries! They were absolutely delicious and the perfect ending to a perfect day!
Jess, come on girl!! You and your team completely outdid yourselves. The decor was stunning and brought our entire vision to life in a way that exceeded every expectation.
We are honestly at a loss for words. Crossed Keys Estate treats you like family, and that is something you feel in every interaction, every detail, and every moment of your day.

Incredible venue. The team is truly top-notch. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for—the food was outstanding, the staff went above and beyond, and the grounds speak for themselves. Believe it or not, the gardens and reception space are even more breathtaking in person. If you’re searching for a stunning venue that still feels intimate, I cannot recommend CKE enough.

WOW, what a night. There are truly no words to describe how incredible our wedding was this weekend (10.11.25). Your team has been an absolute joy to work with ever since our very first tour with Katherine in Spring 2024 (and my phone call with Danielle during that wild NJ earthquake!!).
The venue (and every corner of it!) is spectacularly beautiful, and the hospitality and service from every single person were beyond extraordinary. As a family-owned venue, we immediately felt at home, like we were part of your family too. From the coordination and organization of every detail, big and small, to the care and creativity that went into the floral planning and design, to your flexibility and patience with our last-minute questions and changes, every part of the experience was seamless. And the ultimate execution: the food, service, flowers, ceremony, reception, and the flow of the entire day and night, it could not have been more perfect!!
The feedback from our guests has been unanimously glowing. So many people have said it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended, and everyone was in absolute awe of the beauty and magic of Crossed Keys Estate, just like we were.

We just had our wedding at Crossed Keys and could not be happier! Not only was the venue absolutely perfect and stunning, but all of the staff was exceptional throughout the entire process! The planning process was extremely easy and thorough - every detail was accounted for. Danielle was very helpful and always quick to answer any questions we had. The space looked absolutely beautiful and the staff was very helpful in setting up all the décor that we brought the day of. The entire day went so smoothly - it was perfect! We received so many compliments from our guests on the food - particularly the cocktail hour. CKE is worth every penny and we would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married! Truly not one bad thing to say about this venue!

Absolutely the best day ever!! We had our wedding at CKE a couple of months ago in July and it was everything we dreamed it would be. Our guests continue to rave about how unique and beautiful our venue was and how amazing the food was! We still talk about how perfect our wedding day was and so much of that we owe to the CKE team. Each member went above and beyond for us from the first tour, to booking our date and all throughout our wedding day. We worked a lot with Jessica and the CKD team and had Katrina as our day of planner. Both women were extremely responsive, helpful, knowledgable and caring. They were available to us for frequent phone calls and emails as if we were the only couple planning our wedding there. We owe how smoothly our day went to the whole CKE team. They are very well run, organized, efficient and most importantly helpful team in making your day everything you want it to be. We cannot recommend CKE as a wedding venue highly enough. Where do we even begin! We had our wedding November 30th, 2024 and had the absolute most perfect special day. We originally toured with Kyle and knew from then this would be our venue. Out of all the venues we toured, he was the most descriptive and passionate, answering any and all questions. From then on, everything was absolutely seamless and easy in every way.
Jessica, who does floral and design…NO WORDS. She is an absolute gem to work with and master of florals. I had a very specific vision with colors and she made our wildest dreams come true. She met with me multiple times to ensure what I envisioned was what I wanted, and answered every single email so fast with my questions/changes/comments.
Katrina was our coordinator through CKE, and was lovely to work with. She was there to answer any and all questions and extremely communicative leading up to wedding day when things can become stressful :) Day of she was also somehow always by our side the second we needed something.
Lastly, the food…guests are still raving about it. It is beyond delicious and there are tons and tons of options to choose from. I have to give a special shoutout to the Lechon station, as people will not stop talking about how unique and amazing it was.
We cannot thank the team at Crossed Keys enough for the dedication and attention to detail they put into making our day perfect. The communication is top notch, the food is beyond amazing, and the florals went beyond our wildest dreams.

Crossed Keys Estate truly blew my expectations out of the water in every way, shape, and form. When my husband and I first saw the venue, we fell in love with it and knew right away we had to get married there. We met the owner, Katherine, on one of our tours and just could tell this was such a welcoming place. The whole planning process leading up to the wedding was wonderful between floral/décor meetings with Jessica, payment/logistic questions for Kyle, and day of planning with Katrina. When the wedding day itself rolled around, the weather wasn’t exactly our friend and set the schedule a bit behind, but Katrina and Katherine saw my stress and sprung into action. They quickly helped change the cocktail hour setup to accommodate photos and were there right by our sides asking if we wanted a drink or needed anything. They also worked with us on timing when things were a bit delayed. Then during cocktail hour, Katrina brought food out for my husband and I to make sure we were getting to enjoy it while we took our photos. The whole remainder of the night the team was everywhere, just making sure the whole event was perfect for us. There kindness and concern were more than we could have asked for and we will forever be grateful. Aside from that, CKE is one of the most beautiful venues I’ve laid my eyes on and the whole place looked like it was out of a magazine when the flower team was done. Would recommend any couple to choose CKE as their venue – between the food, the staff, and the beautiful venue, you won’t be disappointed!!Crossed Keys Estate's reply:

Crossed Keys Estate was an absolute DREAM to work with. The venue is family owned and operated, and you can really feel all the love, attention, and care that was put into our wedding and the venue overall.
We first visited Crossed Keys on a cold January afternoon. Funny enough, our car got a flat tire on the way there and we were stranded for 3 hours. You would think that event would ruin our day, but despite that hardship, my husband and I still immediately knew that Crossed Keys Estate was where we wanted to say our I do's.
Working with Katherine, Jessica, Kyle and the rest of the family was beyond special. They answered all my questions, supported all of our ideas, and executed everything flawlessly.
Our family and friends were thoroughly impressed with not only the abundance but the QUALITY of food. Coming from a Filipino background, my family was looking forward to the Lechon station specifically. Not only did they finish ALL of it, they said it was the best lechon they've ever tasted.
The venue alone is absolutely breathtaking, but the decor was beyond my wildest dreams. So much so it brought me to immediate tears when I saw it! Jessica listened and took in all my suggestions, and seamlessly incorporated all of my DIY elements. As someone who is in landscape architecture, and have many friends in architecture and landscape, we got so many compliments on the venue, grounds, and decor.
I could go on and on about how much the people and this place mean to me and my Husband, but I'll end with saying that all our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! We love the Crossed Keys Estate and their team and will continue to sing their praises to anyone and everyone! Wedding of my dreams!!!
It’s been about two weeks since I had my wedding at crossed keys and I still can’t get over how absolutely perfect the night was. People are STILL talking about how beautiful the flowers were, how delicious the food was, and how gorgeous the venue is. The attention to detail throughout the entire day and into the evening was incredible. The entire team at crossed keys was so helpful and I trusted them completely to help make my vision come true!!! I’ll be reliving this night for a long time🤍

From the moment we first visited The Crossed Keys Estate, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. As someone who worked in a similar industry for over a decade, I was looking for a particular atmosphere. Every detail, from the meticulously decorated main building to the classic charm of the playhouse, and the beautiful grounds and gardens, exceeded our expectations.
The entire experience was seamless and stress-free. We were able to drop off all our decorations and have them expertly arranged without any issues. The staff and the family running the venue are incredibly kind and professional. The florist’s creations were nothing short of magical—each arrangement was a stunning and perfectly executed my vision.
A standout aspect was the wedding coordinator provided by the venue. She ensured that everything for the day went smoothly and did an amazing job, all while being incredibly sweet and attentive. Her efforts truly made the day effortless and enjoyable.
Additionally, we were delighted to have our own dedicated server who treated us like VIPs. She made sure we never went a moment without a drink or anything we needed, adding a special touch to our experience.
The Catering/Chef was another highlight, receiving countless compliments from our guests. It’s rare for wedding food—often prepared for 150+ people—to be so outstanding, but The Crossed Keys Estate clearly knows how to deliver. I mean it when I saw people are still talking about the food!
The financial manager was also exceptional, being very on top of everything and ensuring we were aware of every detail. There were no surprises or unexpected bills—everything was transparent and handled with integrity.
Every moment of our day was effortless and enjoyable, thanks to the thoughtful attention of the staff. They ensured we didn’t miss out on the cocktail hour while we were doing photos, even bringing us cocktails and appetizers.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how much they enjoyed themselves, with many going out of their way to commend the staff. The owners' personal touch and dedication to making our day special were evident throughout, and they truly made our wedding day unforgettable.

My daughter just got married at the Cross Keys Estate in Andover NJ and it was magical! The staff was amazing from the planning to the “day of”, thanks to the coordinator Katrina, Kyle and Katherine. The floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, and interior design were all spectacular. Jessica is an artist that brought our vision to life better then we even imagined!
The area to get ready was like a fairytale with more than enough space for a large wedding party to spread out and get ready. The flower garden with stone structure back drop made for an enchanting ceremony. The cocktail space is breathtaking, and the food was like nothing I have ever had at any wedding I’ve been to. All the guests were blown away with the chooses and presentation.
The reception area looked so beautiful, and we used their preferred vendor list for the band (iEntertainment, The Helm) and photographer. Both of which knocked it out of the park. They knew the venue and were so professional.
The most impressive was the food at the reception as well as the wait staff that tended to our every need. At most weddings the cocktail food is always better than the dinner, however this was not the case. The main courses were received by all to be amazing.
Cross Keys Estates has a farmhouse vibe with a special modern elegance.

Crossed Keys Estate went above and beyond to make sure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted - and more. The staff was generous, accommodating, solutions-focused and totally trustworthy. They followed our vision and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Jessica was the perfect day-of coordinator/leader who made us all feel totally calm and as if every detail was taken care of, and it was! Would chose them time and time again
I do not know where to start complimenting Crossed Keys. Absolutely everything was perfect not just the day of the wedding but everything leading up to it. Planning with Crossed Keys was every bride's dream. I barely had to think about anything and they were communicative, accommodating and extremely dependable. The venue is magical, I had multiple guests saying it felt like a Disney wedding from the setting and that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. The food was amazing, no one could get enough. We are three months later and my guests are still talking about it and asking about specific dishes from cocktail hour so they could try and recreate it. The service staff was so incredibly kind and our sweetheart table constantly had food and drinks on it. The getting ready space is a makeup artists dream and we couldn't stop finding new spots to take pictures in. I mean everything was perfect, moved like clockwork and stress free. To say this team is professional would be the understatement of the century, they. are. magical. I’ll start with WOW. There are literally no words that can describe how amazing and perfect my wedding day was all thanks to the CKE team. Jess, Kyle, Katrina, Sam and the rest of the team really blew me away. My wedding day ended up being a cold, rainy September day, and I was honestly heartbroken. The grounds of the estate are unbelievably beautiful, and it’s all I pictured for my wedding day. When I had to face the facts that my ceremony would be inside, I was really having a hard time picturing it and coming to terms with it, even though there was nothing I could do. I spoke about a rain plan with Jess the day before, and she put me at ease. When it was time to walk down the aisle and I saw the indoor ceremony set up, I literally cried. It was incredible. I knew it would be of course, the inside of CKE is just as beautiful as the outside, but when all you can picture for 2 years is getting married in front of the stone cottage, it’s hard to think about it in any other way. Beyond that, we did the first look and family pictures in the conservatory and I was literally blown away by the pictures! Once I was inside, I didn’t even think about the outside anymore. Everything was so stunning, I still don’t even have words. The conservatory, the flowers, the tables, the sweetheart table, the ceremony arch, I mean every part was just breathtaking, I still tear up when I think about it! I am forever grateful to the CKE team for turning my wedding dreams into a reality, calming my very anxious wedding nerves, and just making our wedding day the absolute best, most beautiful day of our lives.
It’s been a few months since our wedding, and our guests are STILL raving about the food and how absolutely stunning CKE was! Everyone said it was the best food at a wedding that they’ve had, and they wish they could go back to eat! My one regret is that I didn’t get to try all the food because I was so preoccupied! All in all, I would get married at CKE over and over again if I could. Everything about our experience was extraordinary and I still cannot get over how beautiful of a venue it is. There are not enough words to describe our unforgettable experience at Crossed Keys Estate. I wish I could give their team more than 5 stars! When we started our wedding planning process a few years back I was feeling discouraged. My now husband and I knew we wanted our wedding to be local, but I had a specific vision in mind that I felt would be hard to find in NJ. Most NJ venues had the same ballroom vibe that I was not going for. I wanted a space that if the weather was bad and we had to move our reception inside, I would not be upset. I also wanted to be able to customize a space without clashing with the venue's décor. INSERT CROSSED KEYS ESTATE! As soon as I pulled up to the property for our tour I knew I had to book this venue. Floor to ceiling windows, property that feels like you're in a fairytale, hardwood floors (YES, most venues in NJ have carpet that typically has an outdated design that I felt would clash with my aesthetic), and the most incredible glass conservatory that I did not even know their team was building at the time. I was so lucky that there was 1 free Saturday left for a 2023 October wedding (dreamt of an outdoor Autumn wedding since I was a little girl). From the day we booked Crossed Keys to the days following our wedding the service has been impeccable. Planning a wedding can be extremely stressful, but working with the Crossed Keys team was the best part. They made planning so seamless! I have to give a special shout out to their floral team for making my untraditional wedding visions come to life. When I saw the space for the first time on our wedding day I was fighting back tears. The attention to detail was ON POINT. The amount of effort their team put in to making my Pinterest dreams come to life made our day even that more special. I am forever thankful and grateful to have had the pleasure of working with the Crossed Keys team and to have been able to share this special place with family and friends on our wedding day. The day after our wedding we were inundated with messages from our guests expressing how this was the best wedding they've been to. From the jaw dropping space/property, friendly & white glove staff/service, to the farm to table food and drinks (which to be honest is not always the best at weddings) everything exceeded expectations of what I thought our wedding day would be like. I wish we could do it all over again!

There are no words... Katherine and Jess are a powerhouse! Fantastic to work with since the day we met them - but to say that they exceeded our hopes and dreams would be an understatement. Melissa and Michael's wedding was perfect!
The flowers were so exquisite - the chuppa was the most gorgeous we have ever seen - from the aisle to the magnificent tables, the colors and composition were breathtaking. Melissa's dream come true!
The entire staff did an impeccable job. Delicious fantastic and beautiful too. The cocktail hour was one delectable taste after another. Marvelous service from everyone throughout the evening. Gracious, elegant, welcoming. Wonderful pacing - although it all goes too fast! Katherine's presence was so appreciated and shows the immense pride she has in this wonderful welcoming venue.
The Farmhouse and Conservatory looked like a wonderland - our guests were completely wowed! It is the most special venue and created a treasured experience.

Where do I even begin!???! Crossed keys deserves way more than just 5 stars. From the incredible staff, to the amazing food, to the onsite florist who absolutely kills it every single time, to the gorgeous venue and new cocktail hour space, this place has it all. Although it was out of our budget, I knew CKE was our dream venue from the moment I met Katherine and toured their venue. Katherine, Jessica, Kyle, Samantha, Kiersten and the rest of their team made my husband and I feel like family. They were so helpful throughout the entire planning process and always so quick to answer any questions (and yes there were a lot. I probably emailed them everday) (I'm so sorry guys). Being out of state, I wasn't familiar with the venue before we booked and neither were any of our guests so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am SO glad that we put our trust in them. As soon as we booked, they sent us a list of recommended vendors and never left us hanging. We stayed in touch the whole time; talking multiple times a week for the year and a half leading up to our event. We had the best day of our lives, and not a thing went wrong! Our guests raved about the food (how much food their was and how delicious it was) and how much fun they had. I received so many compliments on my flowers. Jessica really delivered after me not really knowing what I wanted during our two hour floral appointment. I was all over the place but she made my vision come to life and surpassed all of my floral dreams. She also surprised us with window candles the day of our wedding which was the best and sweetest surprise ever during our room reveal. I couldn’t believe she did that! The whole team is so thoughtful. Our day of coordinator and maitred, Kiersten, I feel like needs a whole separate review of her own! She was absolutely fabulous! I don’t know what I would have done without her. I didn’t have a wedding planner so she was my go to person throughout the last couple of months of planning and boy did I make her WORK 😂 she was so helpful and so patient with me! The whole team at crossed keys estate made us feel so special and checked on our so many times throughout the night (bringing us a ton of food and drinks and making sure that we ate). I literally told them I wanted to work for them and be a part of their family because how much I loved them! Our day couldn’t have gone any better! It was perfect! Crossed Keys Estate was a dream come true for my husband and I. From the moment we stepped foot inside the venue and got a warm welcoming tour from the owner Katherine, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The venue is a perfect blend of rustic farmhouse and modern luxury (especially with the new conservatory!)
Planning a wedding is hard enough, and planning a multicultural wedding with 2 ceremonies in 1 day proved to have its challenges, but the entire CKE staff made our wedding planning super easy from start to finish and stress free. Katherine, Danielle & Jessica were super responsive to all of our emails and really took the time to ensure we were getting everything we wanted for our big day. The flowers and decor came out GORGEOUS, Jessica and her team really captured my vision and I still can’t get over how beautiful all of our flowers looked. I honestly don’t think there is anything the CKE team can’t do, they value family and traditions and we could not be more grateful to have worked with the entire team.
Our whole day went absolutely perfect, even with the rain, our indoor ceremonies were absolutely stunning and we could not have asked for a more perfect October wedding day. Our guests cannot stop raving about how beautiful & unique the venue is, and how delicious the food was. From cocktail hour, to dinner & our late night treat of apple cider donuts & pies, everything we ate was amazing (we also loved the lobster rolls!) I really wish we had time to eat more, haha! The entire staff and everyone we interacted with were super friendly & professional and I can truly go on and on about how wonderful our experience was. I am unsure where to even beginning because from the start of this entire process Crossed Keys Estate has been so amazing. The tour of the venue was informative and it made us realize that this was our dream venue. The staff at the Crossed Keys Estate made wedding planning so easy. They provide you with an in-depth spreadsheet and a wedding coordinator to answer all your last minute questions. All staff members were quick at responding to all questions/emails. I loved that everything was at the venue from the catering to the flowers, which made everything so easy. Jessica, the florist was so amazing to work with and she really captured all my ideas in my head and was able to execute it flawlessly. Our wedding day was beautiful and filled with some much love thanks to this amazing venue and their team. They worked seamless with my other vendors and took care of everything for us. I wish I could give this venue 1000/10 stars because it was that amazing.

I can start with the easy things that virtually every guest commented on once the wedding was over... the venue is incredible, the food is notably amazing, and the staff was ever-present and extremely attentive. Outside of that, it's tough to fully express the benefit/impact on the wedding planning process of having an authentically family run business guide you through every step of the way. The Crossed Keys family looks to ensure you are taken care of at every turn because it truly means that much to them. And this sentiment successfully permeates through the entire staff, from the owners to the coordinators to the servers and bartenders. Everyone executes as if they have a personal stake in the success of the event, from start to finish.

Perfect spot to make memories to treasure!
From start to finish, a great experience! Owner Katherine Rodriquez & her husband Celso lead a group that makes wedding dreams come true! Jessica & Kyle Hanselman manage floral designs & contract details and will not disappoint in their attentiveness to requests made. Our “day of” coordinator Katrina could not have been more helpful! The setting is lovely, the food delicious, & the flowers exquisite! The ceremony garden is a beautiful spot to make a lifelong commitment - & then move along to the tented patio to celebrate that event for the cocktail hour before moving into the newly constructed Farmhouse. Katherine & Jessica were both present during some of our “getting ready” time in the Playhouse, & their experience in hosting wedding day events was so reassuring & helpful. And Katherine’s unobtrusive presence continued throughout the evening to ensure our needs were met - right on up to the final moments of packing up decorations for transport.
Definitely a venue to explore before making this all important decision as to where to have wedding dreams come true! -

I highly recommend Crossed Keys Estate for your wedding venue. I cannot say enough time how amazing the team was throughout our entire wedding process. Kyle was a huge help from the second we stepped foot onto the property for our tour. I think my husband spoke to him about 2 times a month from the second we booked our wedding which was a year in advance- he is one of the reasons we felt so good about booking here!
Jessica, head of the floral/design team was a dream to work with. She took my vision and escalated it to heights I didn't know existed- I was in complete awe walking into the room on the day of my wedding. She answered every question and displayed kindness and patience throughout the whole process.
We had a large wedding party and were worried about the guest count, but the team helped us figure out a way to fit as many people as possible.
We immediately fell in love with the look of the venue and the fact that it was family owned and run, but the team was really was won us over.
I also haven't stopped getting texts about how amazing the food was since our wedding!!! Food was a HUGE deal for us so the fact that people are still raving about it make us so happy (butternut squash raviolis were the biggest hit!!). Again, I can't say enough good things- definitely have your wedding here and thank me later! -

We are so happy to have found the beautiful Crossed Keys Estate to hold our fall wedding this past October! The grounds are stunning and there are so many special places on the property to enjoy. The new, well-appointed indoor Farmhouse is truly a beautiful addition to the outdoor space. I mention all of this because while we were so looking forward to holding our ceremony outside in the beautiful garden, it began raining a few hours before the ceremony and we had to pivot to the indoor Farmhouse space. We were not disappointed – the staff showed their professionalism and agility in converting the indoor reception space for the ceremony and then back again in a seamless fashion. Most of our guests had no idea they were in the same space! We held the after-party at the venue under the heated tent and outdoor by the fire pit with smores and hot chocolate. They were also great at accommodating an outside cigar and whiskey bar hired for the after-party. It was perfect!
A big shout out to Kyle, Jessica, Katherine, Katrina, Danielle, and the rest of the wonderful team at Crossed Keys. All the services provided from the catering to the design to the coordination were impeccable. The team accommodated all our requests, including our multiple signature cocktails and late-night bites at the after party. They also made planning our wedding a dream as they offer many services on-premises and have a vetted list of vendors such as photographers and stylists.
Our guests raved about the food and the venue, and we could not have been happier to celebrate our wedding at Crossed Keys!

From the moment we visited Crosses Keys Estate we knew it was truly a special place. Katherine and her amazing team didn’t just treat us like clients, but like family from the moment we first set foot on the property. As a same-sex couple we could not have felt more comfortable knowing how much they genuinely supported the love that we shared. From its brand new beautifully structured farmhouse to the scenic estate grounds, our 9/25/21 wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more!
We were fortunate enough to not have to postpone our date, but throughout the pandemic they were fully transparent with realistic scenarios and handled our concerns with caution and care.
Aside from picturesque perfection and the most hospitable team, the food is EXCEPTIONAL! We even asked for a personalized cocktail station that wasn’t listed on the menu and without hesitation John (chef) and their culinary team went above and beyond to make it happen. Our guests are still raving and craving the menu from our wedding day.
Jessica and the Crossed Keys Designs team went above and beyond to bring our floral and wedding vision to life and each and every detail was breathtakingly beautiful. They truly make magic happen and no detail is left untouched.
Huge shout out to Kyle, who not only took us on our very first tour, but seamlessly managed the floor and serving staff during the reception. Everyone was super attentive to us and all our guests from start to finish.

It is hard to know where to begin when trying to pick the “highlights” of having our wedding at Crossed Keys Estate, because truly the entire experience from start to finish was nothing short of perfection. We ended up visiting Crossed Keys with out parents, and I think it is safe to say that on that first day when we saw the bare bones of the farmhouse, we all knew immediately that it was going to be the absolute perfect place to get married. The entire Rodriguez/Hanselman family was so genuine and wonderful to us, that it not only seemed like the perfect place for the wedding, but the perfect people to help us get our vision to come to life. In our early planning stages, Katherine and Jessica were extremely organized and communicated very clearly about when and what they needed from us. We met with Jessica for our floral consultation with Crossed Keys Designs on March 14, 2020 as the world began shutting down, and at that point had no idea that we would even have to consider moving our October 2020 wedding. We were looking for simple, fall decor for our wedding, but we knew we were still going to have about 200 people and would want flowers to bring the farmhouse to life. Jess took exactly what we envisioned and presented it to us in an easy to navigate proposal. When we began to realize that postponing may be our best option, the entire Crossed Keys team presented us with our options and made the process of changing as easy as possible. During our engagement, Crossed Keys launched a wedding portal website that was easy to navigate and so helpful in keeping everything organized. If you go with Crossed Keys, you do not need an additional planner as they keep everything organized and provide day-of coordinators who take care of EVERYTHING! And I really mean everything! Leading up to our wedding, we worked mostly with Katrina, who was happy to chat on the phone or answer emails whenever we had questions. When our bus company canceled on us a week before our wedding, Crossed Keys almost knew about it before we did as they were checking in with them independently to make sure they had everything correctly! Crossed Keys is truly a “one stop shop.” The morning of getting ready in the playhouse with my best girl friends, mom, MIL, and grandma was so special and gave me memories that will truly last forever. The grounds were AMAZING for photos and for the bridal party to hang out around while we did our photos. It seriously looks like we took our photos in a botanical garden somewhere! We have heard nothing but absolutely RAVING reviews from all of our wedding guests stating that the grounds, building, food, beverage service, florals, and EVERYTHING were absolutely amazing! As a complete and total foodie, I knew that wherever we chose to get married would have to have amazing food options, and Crossed Keys fulfilled that completely. At our cocktail hour, we had a pastrami/Jewish deli station as well as a pasta bar, which perfectly satiated both of our Jewish and Italian sides of the family. I can’t forget that every vendor that we hired was from the Crossed Keys recommended vendor list, and they were ALL amazing. I’ll wrap up with what I think is the most important thing about Crossed Keys, they are a family and they truly treat their couples like family. Truly the most magical place to get married!!!
I don’t even know where to begin but I am so incredibly grateful for the whole team at Crossed Keys - Jessica, Kyle, Katherine and Katrina - for making our wedding day the most beautiful day of our lives. Our wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for and more. If you are looking for an outdoor/farmhouse feel, RUN and book CKE. We took advantage of all they had to offer, including staying at the CK Inn and the Estate House which made everything so convenient and was super comfortable. The grounds at the venue are stunning and make for beautiful photo opps and the farmhouse is just incredible. The playhouse made for the perfect backdrop to get ready and was able to watch them set up the ceremony and see my guests arrive. The food was delicious and all of our guests raved about it all night. Lastly, the flowers were so beautiful and Jessica really brought my “boho glam” vision to life. Overall, Crossed Keys truly makes you feel part of their family for the day and everything was just so amazing. If you are considering Crossed Keys Estate, don't look at any other venues and just pull the plug and go with them!
I stumbled upon CKE on Instagram before I was engaged. I saw a group of photos of their anticipated Farmhouse and fell in love! I knew that when the time came I HAD to look at CKE. Got engaged in October of 2019 and about a month later we were on the grounds looking at the venue, at the time the Farmhouse was not complete, but knew how beautiful it will be a knew this was where I wanted to have my reception. We signed the contract about a week later and were beyond thrilled! From that point forward, Katherine, Jessica, Kyle, and the rest of the CKE helped us along the way and treated us like a part of their family!
A year before our wedding, my parents, in-laws, I, and now husband toured the grounds again as the Farmhouse was complete in its entirely, and WOW! We were all in awe of the beauty of the farmhouse and got so excited for our day to come.
Fast forward to July 10th, the day could not have been more amazing in my eyes! It was a beautiful day, we were surrounded by family and friends who loved us and had the support of a team at the venue that could not have more on top of things! As my bridal crew and I were getting ready in the cozy Playhouse Katherine stopped by numerous times to make sure everything was going according to plan, giving us updates and making sure I was enjoying my day. Kyle and Katrina took care of us during our reception and OMG were they great! I will admit I had a mini freak-out due to some of my family members not listing to our photographer, but Katrina was there to make sure I stayed calm and to ensure I was hydrated, both with water as well as alcoholic beverages. Kyle made sure that the reception went smoothly and our family members were well taken care of. I do want to send Kyle a special shout-out and thank you for listening to be drunk ramble at the end of the night of how great everything was!
Overall, you can not go wrong with this place. The food was DELICIOUS, the grounds are beautiful, the Farmhouse was stunning and the staff was beyond helpful and pleasure to work with and have in my support team. I was lucky enough to not be a complete COVID bride, but there were a few COVID-related things that I needed to discuss with them I felt very confident with anything they had to say or recommend during this time.
I am so sad that my day at CKE has come and gone so quickly, but it gives me such a great feeling knowing how well I was taken care of how great everything thing came together. I will definitely be back to the ground for a photoshoot or even better to attend a wedding. -

The Crossed Keys Estate saved our wedding day. I can’t begin to express how beautiful everything turned out to be and it’s all thanks to Jessica, Kyle and Katherine who I had the pleasure of working with very closely. Jessica was always there to answer every and all questions through email or phone call and she helped guide me through the process of planning a wedding within pretty much a months time span. We had to cancel our original venue and we didn’t have much time to find an outdoor venue. When I was on my mission, determined to have our wedding and not let the chaos of COVID ruin our day, I stumbled upon Crossed Keys online. I reached out via email and sure enough our date was somehow available! Katherine was kind enough to put my date on hold until I went and looked at the venue which I then fell in love with even more so. The day of Kyle and Katherine couldn’t do enough to make sure things ran smoothly and that my husband and I were comfortable and taken care of and enjoying ourselves. Again there are no words but to thank you for giving us our “miracle” wedding. I would recommended to anyone. -

There are no words to express our satisfaction and gratitude to the Crossed Keys Estate team and family! We had our wedding at CKE on November 1, 2020 and it was the most beautiful and magical night that I could have imagined. We were supposed to get married in April 2020 but due to COVID had to postpone. Jessica and her family were not only supportive and helpful during this entire process but made everything brighter and took care of us during this stressful time. The details and thoughtfulness that this team puts into every single detail of your wedding is unmatched. I feel so thankful to have found them and worked with them. Every part of their planning and execution was top notch. The food was divine ( especially the appetizers, my guests are still raving about them). The décor and flowers were breathtaking. I am still dreaming about the Farmhouse set up, which we used for our ceremony due to bad weather) and the tent (which felt like Jessica and team found out what my ultimate dream wedding would be and then brought it to life). Planning and having a wedding during COVID was such an emotional ride and having CKE I knew no matter what the regulations were or the state of the state they were going to make my day perfect and special! The Farmhouse is truly the most beautiful venue, the floor to ceiling window is stunning, the high ceilings and chic farmhouse vibes are the best combination of a rustic chic feel. The bathrooms in the Farmhouse also deserve their own mention, they are so gorgeous. The bridal suite, where we spent time before the ceremony was a major photo opt! We got ready in the playhouse which was also so cute and had a very cozy pretty vibe. Night of Kyle and Catherine made me feel like part of the family and were so attentive. They were making sure everything was how I wanted it, offering their advice to help me and so flexible as things came up and changed. When they told me we would have to wrap things up in 5-10 minutes for our exit I wanted to cry, I did not want to ever leave that tent! I will recommend this venue to everyone and anyone I meet who is getting married. I truly could not imagine a better wedding venue. I am so happy I got to share this journey and night with this family and I will be in touch with them forever! -

Truly perfect!
What a venue! I can’t say enough good things about this place. After discovering their micro-wedding package online, my husband and I knew we had to jump on this opportunity! Due to the pandemic regulations, we had to cancel at our original venue since they did not have an outside area and us not wanting to wait a year to tie the knot. As soon as we walked in an sat down with Kathy we knew right away, THIS IS IT! Knowing I had to plan a whole wedding in a month was not an easy task to think about. Jess didn’t miss a beat though, she was the first person who truly just got what my vision was and made it come to life. The day of my wedding was more than what we could have ever expected. For only having about 80 people there, I can say it felt like a normal size wedding and we couldn’t have asked for more, honestly. It was beautiful and I can’t thank them enough, I would recommend Crossed Keys Estate over and over again ✨ -

Look No Further !!!!
There truly aren’t the right words to say how incredible this venue is, but I will try. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property and shook Katherine’s hand (actually, I think she pulled me in and hugged me), we knew this was where we would get married. We were drawn to Crossed Keys because of the stunning scenery everywhere you look, but it was more than beauty to the eyes. There was this feeling of magic we felt every time we visited the venue, which was just magnified times a million on the day of our wedding. It all felt like a dream and I’d love to go back and relive it. Jessica, Katherine, Kyle, and the whole Crossed Keys Team worked TIRELESSLY throughout the planning process and during the event to make sure everything ran smoothly. Knowing that you can put your complete and utter trust into a group of people with food, florals and pretty much everything that has to do with your wedding is priceless. They are worth every penny. We just got married at Crossed Keys on August 16th and have nothing but great things to say about the venue and their team. Despite being married in the middle of a pandemic, Jessica did everything possible to be fair and accommodating to my now husband and I and our families and allowed us to have a sized down version of our original large, 200 person event. The food was amazing and the florals and decor exceeded my expectations. Every guest ive spoken to since the wedding has said it was one of the most beautiful and all around great venues they've ever been to. I would recommend them without hesitation! -

Crossed Keys was the only venue we toured, and the only venue we needed to tour. From the first time we drove up to the property (which is a BEAUTIFUL area up in that part of New Jersey to start with), we knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want a traditional wedding hall - we wanted something relaxed, but elegant and I knew I wanted a tented wedding. Crossed Keys gives you all of this and so much more. The grounds are lush and stunning, and even historical. From pictures, I felt like other venues try to replicate the nice gardens, but it just ends up looking cheesy and fake. Crossed Keys is the real garden deal. We worked with Jessica and Katherine throughout the whole process; they were both so responsive, helpful, and I knew we could trust them in making the wedding of our dreams happen. We also loved the fact that this is a family run business!
- Floral and decor is done through Jessica - making it such an easy process to coordinate and it all turned out absolutely beautiful. You meet with her to go over your ideas and I felt like she read my mind in what I was looking for.
- The food was absolutely the best wedding food I've had - we had the chilean sea bass which I highly recommend. We kept getting compliments about it all!
- Both Jessica and Katherine were onsite and kept checking on all of us in the wedding party to see how we were doing and even just offered us water while we took pictures! Very attentive and accommodating.
I could go on and on, but in summary, we have had so many people from family, friends of family, and our friends say that this was one of the best weddings (if not the best wedding) they've been to! If you want a fairytale wedding, this is your venue! -

When we were planning our wedding ceremony, we truly couldn't have imagined a more perfect location. Working with them was so easy... Jessica & Katherine were incredibly accommodating and open to our ideas. They helped us plan out the day & made suggestions to help our planning process go even smoother. On our wedding day, they were always nearby to help. It truly felt like being surrounded by family. They also created the most beautiful flower arrangements for us. With just a few photos for inspiration, they nailed my vision for the most perfect lavender wedding bouquet. If it were possible to deliver more than 5 stars to Crossed Keys Estate, I would do it without hesitation. The moment I stepped foot onto their grounds, I knew it was the place for me. I've always pictured myself getting married in my backyard and man oh man, did this completely surpass my expectations. I tip my hat to the ENTIRE team at Crossed Keys. Every email was delivered with a prompt and incredibly helpful response from either Jessica or Katherine. I am not a planner or a DIY-er so having Jessica and her team to help out with all the decor and flowers was absolutely perfect. Her and her team know the industry inside and out and deliver with top notch quality. With her expertise and sharp eye, I knew I was in the right hands. The flowers were gorgeous and I am still getting compliments from my guests on the ambiance - it fully exceeded my expectations. Not only that, but Katherine and the family made me and MY family feel like we were home. Their attention to detail and commitment to service is something that I continue to be impressed with. I am so excited about their new Farmhouse addition - my Mom wished we waited a bit longer so we could have the reception there but I fell in love with the beautiful white tent. I wish I could get married over and over again, just to continue to work with them and experience their talent! They gave me and my new hubby the wedding of our dreams -

My husband & I knew we wanted an outdoor wedding in NJ & Crossed Keys Estate popped up online right away. It was the first venue tour we took & from the moment we stepped onto the property, we both looked at each other & without even saying it out loud, agreed that this was going to be our wedding venue. It was the most beautiful day. From the moment we woke up to the moment we went to sleep, my husband & I were both on cloud 9. Getting to have the venue owner's beautiful home the night before for my girls & I to have one last sleep over before getting married & getting to have their property all to ourselves on the day of was the absolute best. The Playhouse was one of my favorite parts of the day; getting to all get ready in such a beautiful space started the day off on the perfect foot & this was where we got to have an after party with our friends & family after the wedding had ended. To start and end the day there was wonderful. Katherine, the venue's owner, made sure that we were taken care of, between driving me around in the cart to help me bring things back and forth, making sure I had enough hot water for my morning tea, being right by my side making sure I was getting a chance to eat everything we had out, helping us navigate our next steps with the marriage license, finding me last minute heel protectors when I needed them. She felt like another mom by our side. Jessica, her daughter, from the very beginning was such a calming, positive light throughout the whole process. We were never stressed out and I know a huge part of that was her attention to everything I asked, every idea I wanted her opinion on and not being stressed made this the most perfect day. It allowed us to just be present and enjoy ourselves. She found little pockets throughout the night to see how we were doing, to make sure our food was perfect, to help us cut our cake, to help distribute our favors. I felt like I gained a friend in her throughout these last several months and that made this experience that much more enjoyable. Our guests ALL, and when I say ALL, I mean ALL- said it was the most spectacular wedding they'd ever been to. That it was the BEST wedding food they'd ever had. If food is important to you like it was for us and if you don't want the same old 'wedding food' you get at most weddings, CKE is your venue. Everything was cooked incredibly, tasted even better than it looked & they were completely accommodating to certain things we wanted to add; like honey lavender ice cream, for example. Without a second thought, that was no problem and going to be our ice cream flavor for the night & it was absolutely outrageous. We're now running into some guests that were there after a few weeks have passed and they can't stop talking about the food! As for our ceremony- my one family member has been all through Europe and she said our ceremony looked like the South of France. Everything is so lush & you get married under 200 year old trees- how cool is that?! The flowers were exactly what we had explained we wanted & it felt like we were getting married in the secret garden. It was the perfect day. Truly a perfect day. CKE is a one stop shop in so many ways, between them handling the food, the flowers, the cake, etc. It made everything so seamless. My husband, myself, our families & guests will never forget it. Crossed Keys Estate- thank you for giving us the party of our lives to begin of our marriage. We will hold it deep in our hearts forever. -

It was truly the most beautiful experience.
Katherine, Jessica, and the entire team were beyond accommodating. They made every wish and request I had come true.
From the moment I woke up in the estate on the morning of the wedding, my entire bridal party and I were made to feel like royalty. Throughout the entire day, I truly felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
We made our way down the stone path to the playhouse and we’re able to get a glimpse at the big white tent for the reception. We were greeted with a delicious homemade breakfast and it was quickly consumed! We spent the rest of the morning prepping for the day with the hair and make up staff.
The entire staff was out and about trimming the lawn and preparing our flowers to make sure the day was as beautiful as I had imagined. There wasn’t a single worry in my mind because everything had unfolded as planned.
From the first look (swoon), to the family photos, the weather couldn’t have been more perfect in this beautiful outdoor setting. The flowers and decor were straight from a fairy tale. The food was amazing! To this day, our guests are still raving over it. They were even able to accommodate a family tradition of having lechon at the cocktail hour which was so meaningful to us. Lastly, the desserts and our cake were beyond devine!
From the moment the ceremony began, to the last dance was had, Katherine and Jessica were there to help! Louis and myself could not be happier we decided to start our new chapter at Crossed Keys Estate. The entire day was perfect.Crossed Keys Estate's reply:

Lynna Sent on 09/23/2018Our wedding day on 8/31/18 was everything our hearts desired it to be, and more. It was absolutely the best day ever because we knew Crossed Keys would be a special place to get married & celebrate with our loved ones. Pictures and video don't even do it justice; as soon as we toured the grounds and met Jessica & her mom Katherine, we knew we had to book it.
Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly responsive and helpful. All my questions were answered big or small, even when I had last minute tweaks or thoughts. I really appreciate how much they show they care about each wedding they do, & treat each one uniquely.
When our wedding time came, from the rehearsal to the big day itself, the whole staff really was AMAZING. From Jessica checking in on us with our flowers and seeing how things were going, to Katherine always making sure we had a drink in our hands, to the friendly catering (headed by Celso) + staff throughout the grounds, we and our guests were always taken care of. The food was SPECTACULAR. We are still getting extraordinary compliments on the cocktail hour, delicious dinner, & drinks. The Mac & Cheese bar was the best I ever had, hands down. I was incredibly happy to hear from our vegetarian friends that the dish they were served was the best they ever had at a wedding (they usually get a typical option but they could tell the chef was very thoughtful in creating their meal).
Everything from the playhouse where we got ready (& later had a small after party), to the beautiful decor (planned through Event Designs by Katherine), the on-site house, the reception tent, was gorgeous.
Our goal was to throw a wedding where the planning process was easy and stress-free, & all our guests were really happy. The CK team delivered this for us. Also, despite the rain that started, the ceremony under the tent was seamless, enchanting & beautiful. We hope we can come back here one day as guests and highly recommend this special place to future couples.Crossed Keys Estate's reply:

Anne Sent on 09/19/2018We celebrated our daughter’s wedding last weekend at Crossed Keys Estate. It was absolutely magical. Katherine and Jessica guided us every step of the way and for that we are truly appreciative. They made us feel so at home the moment we walked onto the property, letting us know that they were taking it from here and that we need not worry. We were able to relax and join our family and friends in celebrating our daughter and her husband. The property was absolutely magnificent, so many beautiful places to wander. We loved the cocktail patio and the atmosphere around the fire pit was so inviting. The stone house and colorful gardens made for a picturesque ceremony backdrop. And the the flowers... they blew us away - simply stunning, capturing the wedding colors perfectly. We received so many compliments about the delicious appetizers, the entrees, and desserts. I’m sorry I missed the chocolate chip cookies - I heard they were warm and that the mint chocolate chip ice cream was so creamy!
The day could not have gone any smoother. We stayed in the house on the property. The rooms were spacious and beautiful and we had full use of the living areas. It was a short walk to the playhouse were the bridal party got ready. So nice to be on site the whole day. The bridal party stayed a mile away at Crossed Keys Inn where they had the whole inn to themselves. It was a perfect place, too, to host the after party and the farewell breakfast.
I highly recommend this wedding venue. Katherine and Jessica are pros and know exactly how to create magic!

We loved the fact that it’s a family owned and run venue, and Katherine and Jessica made us feel like we were part of the family throughout the entire planning process. They helped make our wedding dreams a reality and we couldn’t be more thankful! On the day of the wedding, they were both there making sure everything was going as planned and checking in with us frequently. After a rainstorm that morning, their team was so quick to set up the ceremony area, making sure the wedding was on schedule and gave us the ceremony of our dreams despite the weather. It’s been a few weeks and our friends and family are still talking about how amazing our wedding was - from the food (which was absolutely delicious), to the gorgeous venue and the convenience of everything being in one spot (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception), and everything in between. We know our guests will remember this wedding forever! We truly could not be happier with how everything turned out and would 100% recommend this venue to anyone considering getting married here.

Brittany Sent on 11/25/2016Before getting engaged I was a bridesmaid 7 times, my husband was a groomsmen 3 times and we had been to what most referred to as an "insane" amount of weddings up and down the east coast and into the Caribbean over the last few years. Because of all this the thought of stepping inside another catering hall, winery, or country club made us want to run away screaming and just elope. We felt like we had seen it all, eaten it all, and been to every type of wedding there is; until we found the Crossed Keys. We toured the Crossed Keys in the dead of winter - the tent wasn't up, the trees were bare, the grounds were covered in snow and we still absolutely loved it. Aside from the Crossed Keys being beyond picturesque Katherine and Jessica make each and every wedding they plan 110% perfection and you feel like you have not one but two amazing wedding planners working around the clock just for you. Every little detail was taken care of for us, their flower design is breath taking and the food is OUTRAGEOUS. Katherine and Jessica are such talented wedding planners that they know exactly what to take care of to fit any vision you might have but also how to let you make requests to customize the day and make it your own. As I mentioned both my husband and I and all our friends and family have been to so so many weddings over the last year we knew we had a lot to compete with (for lack of a better word) to make sure our day did not fall into the "just another wedding" category. Well we've been married for 3 weeks now and people still have not stopped talking about the wedding and recapping the whole day. The Crossed Keys truly will bring your pinterest page to life and you'll be dreaming about the food for weeks after
