Best DJ!!!

Mike was the best. Right from the start of our search, he stood out from other vendors - very easy to work with. He took the time to go over what we were looking for and all the details. He played all of our requests, had us dancing all night, and even kindly took photos and videos throughout our wedding. Thank you Mike for making our wedding the best party ever :)

Great Wedding DJ!

Mike and his team were great at our wedding! They were supportive and there throughout all the changes and rescheduling due to COVID. His online system was easy to use and even had tons of suggestions. Everyone was on the dance floor all night and we had a blast! He shared pictures with us the next day and it was awesome to see them all so soon after the wedding!

Used Critical Entertainment for our second family wedding in the last 10 years. Mike and his staff were awesome. Photographer was awesome and new just what shots the bride and groom wanted to capture. Mike and his DJ’s kept the party going the whole wedding reception and all the guest commented on what a great job the whole crew did. Everyone had a great time at my wedding. If you want DJ’s that get the party started they are right for you. They engaged with my guests and ran through everything with us. Great experience!

Critical Entertainment was great!

Mike and his team did an incredible job for our wedding on 10/9. He was extremely organized and everything went perfect, and guests loved the music that he played. I would use Critical Entertainment again for another party in the future, they were great!

Awesome and professional DJ

Dan was our DJ from Critical Entertainment. From the very first phone call I knew we were in good hands! He was very patient with all of our questions and very knowledgeable about the steps and coordination of the wedding. As the wedding got closer his attention to detail was amazing. He made sure to go over all of our song choices together and also made sure he knew all of the bridal parties names and proper pronunciation. He also gave great suggestions on songs and dances for the wedding. The day of the wedding he was on time and professional

Excellent DJ / Photography service!

Mike and Samantha (our DJs) and Cory (our photographer) were beyond excellent! Mike showed outstanding leadership skills throughout our ceremony and reception and kept our guests thoroughly entertained. We've gotten so much positive feedback about Critical Entertainment from our guests and we couldn't be more pleased. Happy groom and bride

I had critical entertainment Dj photo booth and photography and all 3 was a success they made sure everything came out perfect and were very friendly 😃 mike made sure people were on the dance floor dancing and having a good time . We had to reschedule our date due to covid and mike worked with us and made it happen. I would definitely recommend them for parties 🎉 you will not regret it 🥳

THESE are the guys you want for your party!

We could not have made a better choice for a DJ than Critical Entertainment. They knew and played ALL the music the high school graduates wanted to hear and the dance floor was full until they played the very last song. Professional, courteous and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Excellent DJ and Photo Booth for our Office Party

Critical Entertainment made in all so easy!!!

Our experience was nothing short of PERFECT!!! Critical Entertainment was professional, reaching out as time got closer to nail down details, super attentive, quick to respond our text, and overall making sure that the atmosphere of our wedding was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Critical Entertainment's professionalism and experience were evident throughout. Our DJ Mike listened to our requests and put together a AWESOME playlist; he even worked thru a few last minutes updates like a true pro.

Mike cared about the subtle details and showed that he wanted to make our experience unique and matching to our theme/tone. We got SO many compliments on the music and the event overall from our guests.

Completely stress free

Mike was an amazing DJ, he was always available to answer my questions via email, phone, or text. Mike planned everything perfectly, he knew what songs to play at what times, he got the crowd dancing, and was able to take last minute requests which i greatly appreciate. I was completely stress free the entire night. Dave was also an outstanding photographer, he was very particular about the shots he wanted and took amazing photos with beautiful lighting and even caught some very special candid moments between me and my grandfather. I highly recommend Mike and his team for any wedding or event!

Great DJ at our school event!

We needed a DJ for a school event and Critical Entertainment came highly recommend! The process of securing our date and time was easy and when the day came we had Nate as our DJ!

Great DJ for our wedding on 9/21

Extraordinary DJ. Other than the first song being played the instrumental version Vs the one with lyrics which we chose, the rest of the evening was simply perfect. Everyone danced for six hours or so and had an incredible time.

Mike and his crew were just amazing! I have nothing but positive things to say about them. From the time we met and all the communication in between the big day and the dance floor the night of my wedding, everything was great! The dance floor was overflowing with people, mike knew how to get people on their feet and moving! His prices were also incredibly reasonable for someone trying to keep a tight budget on their wedding!

The DJ was absolutely amazing. Was on time, made sure we had everything we need. Talked us through everything we needed to do ahead of time. Knew his audience

I have used this DJ service several times for different events. Each unique, birthdays, communions, confirmations, and recently a 50th anniversary party. What I appreciate about them is they listen to the type of music you want and always confirm to make sure your happy. At this last event we want specific 50 and 60 music. They didn’t disappoint. I keep coming back for their personalized service. They always keep the party going from 12 year olds to 75 year olds.

You are in good hands!

We met with Mike after we found Critical Entertainment in an online search. I can't say enough how perfectly he made everything great and stress-free for us. First things first, I would like to give a special thanks to Mike for his great help and patience while I was bombarding him with billions of questions. He was so hands-on and always so professional and helpful to us. From the very first day that we contacted him to the wedding night, he was so responsive and promptly answered whatever we asked for. What we really like at most is that he does listen to you for what you request for. He tries to figure out what you expect, what you want or not. Another thing is that he treats you like you are the only customer of his. He makes you feel like he cares about your event more than you, which convinced us about how much he loves his job and professional he is. We totally felt like we were in good hands. He wanted us to choose some songs that we'd prefer to hear, and he managed the rest of the songs. Also, we picked some songs in another language which Mike is not even familiar with, but again he managed it so very well.
Critical Entertainment was one of the best decisions my husband and I have ever made for our wedding. The music was great, and everybody loved the party. Our guests just cannot stop dancing.
Thanks so much again to Critical Entertainment for making our wedding night so smooth and fun from top to toe.

Absolutely Loved!

We used Critical Entertainment to DJ our wedding ceremony and reception and we could not have been happier. Mike and Dan were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our day amazing. They set up a meeting well in advance so we were comfortable with how to use their music selection computer program which helped put us at ease. They walked us through everything we needed with the most professionalism and wonderful personalities that it felt like talking with friends we've known forever. They are both extremely knowledgeable in their field and we trusted them completely. On the actual day Dan could not have been more helpful. From setup to cues to checking in with me and helping us through each special piece of the reception. So many guests came to me to let me know we made an excellent choice for our DJ, not only with the music but with his fun, happy personality. We chose not to select specific songs to play for dancing but trusted Dan to choose for us based on what we told him we liked and EVERYONE loved the selection and had an amazing time. It was truly a perfect night with no hiccups and Critical Entertainment absolutely helped make that happen

We hired Mike Festa from critical entertainment for our wedding and we couldn’t be more pleased! From the start he was so attentive and helpful and on the day of he absolutely blew us away! The music was so perfect every guest was on the dance floor the entire night! He went above and beyond and took so many pictures and videos for us to forever remember the night as well! Professional, high quality, worry free

We got married in May of 2019 at an outdoor venue in CT. My biggest worry was the sound for the outside ceremony and the sound in the outdoor dance floor. My worries were put to rest as Critical Entertainment put on an amazing ceremony and reception. The equipment was high quality and the professionalism exceeded our expectations. I did not have to worry about a thing from start to finish. Highly recommended service for your wedding. Thank you again to Mike for putting this together on our wedding day.

Simply the best.

Mike and Sam had the party rocking last night for my parents 50th Anniversary Party at Testo's. They got you off your seat and on to the dance floor. They are professional and a lot of fun. Critical Entertainment never disappoints!

When we began to plan our wedding we knew right away who would be our DJ and photographer. We’ve hired CE for many events in the past and they have never let us down! Our wedding had approximately 200 guests and the dance floor was always full and they played music for everyone. Everyone had a great time! We especially appreciated that the DJ and photographer worked together and coordinated the day so that we could enjoy our wedding and not have to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. With a 22 person bridal party this was a big help! We would without a doubt recommend Critical Entertainment for all of your wedding needs. They never disappoint! Thank you Mike and Corey!

Mike was the 1st and only person we considered for our wedding DJ and it was THE best decision! Our package included himself, an additional DJ and Cory as our photographer.

Mike helped me through the song choices for our ceremony and made it all easier on me. With the concerns of a wedding day and the anxiety of what can go wrong, Mike's "performance" was NEVER a worry and he truly didn't let us down!

Cory got to the event early and lit up the room with his captivating personality and charming smile. I underestimated the importance of a photographers demeanor until he started snapping photos! Smiling and laughter was natural and constant with Cory behind the camera. I am still getting texts about how much fun he was! He undoubtedly loves what he does and in turn greatly contributed to creating the best night ever!

And Mike, I can't say enough! He was professional, punctual and dead on for every song. Our guests were so excited he was on the dance floor leading line dances. The music and lighting will be talked about for years to come. I am still dancing around to the playlists he perfectly orchestrated. He was thoughtful and thinking on the spot of more ways to make our night special and memorable. An extra song dedicated to my mom, helping us with cake cutting, keeping our guests dancing and happy!!

My husband and I are so pleased with Critical Entertainment and every service they offered and executed perfectly.

We used Mike from Critical Entertainment for our wedding in May of 16 it was a no brainer when we were planing to have a birthday party in This past weekend for my mother in law that we use them again. Mike and Dj Daniel came and had everyone up and dancing once again. They are good at what they do mixing music for all ages to enjoy. Dj Daniel did great with any request we asked For , also coordinating the cutting of the cake with the venue very professional hands down best DJ in CT !

We can't say enough positive things about Mike and his team. We were pretty clueless going into the wedding planning process and had no idea where to even begin. My florist, Flowers by Danielle, recommended Critical Entertainment for us and we booked them right on the spot after we met and sat down with Mike. Not only did we book our DJ, but we were also able to book our photography and videography (both were awesome to work with) through Mike and that saved us tremendous amounts of money and headache! Mike was always available throughout the process to answer any questions we had and responded within minutes of any inquiry. The day of the wedding, he did such an awesome job of overseeing everything from Ceremony to reception, start to finish. Our ceremony music was beautiful and guests could here what the Pastor and speakers were saying with the microphone he provided. He was able to read the crowd and play music the whole night to keep every age group happy and dancing. Throughout the night he kept checking in with us to make sure we were happy and if there was anything he could do for us. And he also was very interactive with our guests teaching them a couple choreographed dances that people of all ages really enjoyed learning/dancing too. We have been guests at many weddings over the years and that was something we have never seen a DJ do before. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from our guests that our DJ, Photographer, and Videographer were great and that they had a great time. Professional, respectful, and attentive to everything we requested and wanted. We honestly can't say enough positive things and were so happy we used Critical Entertainment and would gladly recommend them to any looking for a DJ.

Critical Entertainment is truly professional. My sister's wedding was beautiful thanks to Mike! From the uplighting to the music it was a magnificent night! Two families became one on the dancefloor. Dan the DJ was AWESOME!!! We had a Sweet Sixteen party for my daughter. Dan played a blend of music that kept the young and older:) up on their feet. So many of the guests asked me who the DJ was and that he did an awesome job!! We also had the photo booth.. They were also great!! So much fun:) also used by the young and the older crowd!! Worth every penny!!! Will definitely be calling Critical Entertainment for my next big event!!

We're so happy we hired Mike to DJ our wedding earlier this month! It was kind of last minute (our first DJ ghosted us), and we were afraid we would have a silent wedding! We definitely did not. Mike played all the music that we requested and more. The music was enjoyed by our guests of all ages, and he even led some really fun dances. Everyone was having a great time! Not only did he play great music, but he did a great job keeping the night running smoothly while announcing our dances and toasts. He also did an excellent job with the music during our ceremony. We would definitely recommend Critical Entertainment to our friends!

Setting up the event with Critical Entertainment was a breeze. Their online event management platform is easy to use and helps keep everything organized. If you need ideas for songs, you can search based on genre, event type, year, artist, specialty dances/songs, etc. It literally couldn’t be easier. You can even tell them what songs, groups, genre, etc. that you DON’T want played. They have a huge searchable database which is very cool. Also, you can pay them online and they actually accept PayPal!

Mike kept in contact with me through the whole planning process. He called me the day before the party just to assure me everything was good-to-go and to review everything.

On the day of the event, Paul and Mike arrived early to setup. Paul was the DJ for the day and he was excellent! He stuck exactly to the plan and everyone had a blast! He promptly cued all requests and handled all the MC-ing for announcing dances, toasts, cake cutting, etc.

A great time was had by all. I booked Critical Entertainment because they DJ’d a party I attended a few months before. They were so good that I booked them for my party. I will definitely recommend them and use them again! I have personally experienced both Mike and Paul DJ-ing and they are both professional and great at what they do. Sound quality was also great.

Critical Entertainment did a fantastic job entertaining kids that ranged in age from 2 to 13 for a Communion party. Mike had everyone up and dancing the entire time. The photo booth was so much fun for the kids and adults as well. Thanks to Critical Entertainment, we had an amazing party that our guests are still talking about!

Critical Entertainment DJ did a fantastic job with our daughter's First Holy Communion party! Mike Festa was very responsive; responding almost immediately. Best of the best. I recently hired Critical Entertainment to handle my large outdoor wedding in September and it turned out to be the best decision I made, hands down. Mike Festa handled everything. He is a true professional and goes well above and beyond because it is clear that he genuinely cares. He is not just going through the motions. He knew where key people were sitting and had eyes on them. He helped with timing of the day- he was the architect of the event. The wedding was smooth as can be and it was because of him. This is a high class company and his staffing are experienced, friendly and respectful. Don't think twice- hire critical entertainment.

Mike and his crew did a great job with keeping the crowd dancing and the energy high! He did great with sticking with the timeline the whole night to keep everything running smoothly! In terms of the song selections, he played a great mix of oldies and contemporary music to keep all ages happy and on the floor dancing. Great Service! DJ was great and kept the guest on the dance floor all night. The Uplighting was amazing and really transformed the entire room. The photo booth was state of the art and very big! I hired Critical Event DJ's for my daughters Sweet 16 party. Mike and DJ Paul were amazing they had everyone on their feet dancing the entire time. They were very professional and courteous and were ready to go right on time. Everything was smooth from the booking right up to the end of the event. The up lighting that they offer is amazing. They change colors multiple times and even do a strobe effect. Everyone loved it and I highly recommend this. Planning a party is always stressful not to mention to find a good DJ online. I took a shot at Critical Entertainment since they had many good reviews. Last Saturday we had my daughter's Sweet 16 party and DJ John was awesome! He kept the party going and all the kids had such a great time. When I saw one of my daughter friend's mom the next day she was asking me about the DJ because she had heard about John was great! Also I want to thank Mike for always answering my calls right away and made me feel very secure about his service.

Thank you so much for making this special day so much fun and memorable. If I have an event coming up in the future I will have no doubt about hiring Critical Entertainment again and recommend them to all my friends.

Mike is very easy to work with and very professional. This is the second party I booked with Critical Entertainment. He played all the requested songs. He got my guests up and dancing. He showed everyone how to do line dances. He was very flexible when we had to make changes due to time. Thank you Mike for helping make my daughters Sweet 16 a success.

DJ Chris called me the day before to go over final details which was great. Then he helped with a technical issue I was having. But now on to the real review: DJ Chris was unobtrusive, immediately responsive to our impromptu song requests, played the perfect mix of songs, and was extremely polite. I was particularly impressed when he asked my permission to play songs (as requested by the teenagers) that were questionable for adult ears. He suggested that he play the :"clean" versions of those songs which worked out perfectly. I have nothing but good things to say about the way everything was done. You will NOT be disappointed!

DJ John was a pleasure to work with. He understood the crowd at our school dance and he did an excellent job engaging them in the event. Lots of props and took and honored every request!

The families at our childcare center had an amazing time at our Halloween event Friday night. All of the parents and staff said it was the best one in the 8 years we have had them! Thank you so much for keeping the children busy and entertained. We already booked our event with you for next year!

This company listened to what we wanted and honestly took interest in providing the environment we envisioned. When a request was made that was outside of the norm, they listened, gave advice, asked questions and ultimately left the decision up to us as to how to proceed.

They were responsive, professional and provided various means of communication to ensure all details were obtained. They have a website but also use email and text according to your preference.

The owner is incredibly nice and knows his stuff. He assisted, guided and was completely on the ball.

Additionally, the DJ was remarkable! He played exactly what was requested. Changed it up when needed according to our guidelines we outlined and above all was kind.

The employees are genuine and caring. What more can you ask for?

We were 100% pleased with Dan the D.J.. He was terrific!. He went through everything we had requested before our guestsarrived. Our guests also commented on the way Dan preformed, and the way the music was presented.
We also want to thank Mike Fiesta for his excellent service.
