Creative Touch Films

Had the best experience with Creative Touch Films. Juan Carlos and Pablo went above and beyond. They took our wedding pictures as well as our wedding video. The quality and images were so perfect that took me back to my wedding day! I would TOTALLY recommend Creative Touch Film to any couple that is planning their special day. I can say that I am sooo happy with their work. Great Job JC, Pablo and the rest of the team. :)

Great Job from Creative Touch!

We used Creative Touch to produce a highlights video and a full-length movie for our Hindu-American fusion wedding. We met them at the Shaadi Showcase, and they also were recommended by our photographer.

Juan Carlos was very nice and worked within our budget. Sayali was courteous and responded to our emails in a timely manner.

The highlights video was a summary of our day, with a voice over of our wedding vows. It was phenomenally done and made all of our friends and family cry! We've watched it dozens of times since receiving it!

We received the full video within the expected timeframe, and we were thrilled with its quality. The video captured all of our best moments, and our families have really enjoyed re-living our big day!

Creative Touch Films shot my 2 day Pakistani wedding during Christmas weekend this past year and I have to say they did an incredible job! The attention to detail was immaculate and they made my husband and I feel very comfortable during our separate video shoot and throughout the event. They had great energy and blended in at the event perfectly. The video turned out even more amazing than we could've imagined. The editing was flawless and they worked with me and my family to ensure everything we wanted to have captured was shown in the edited movie. Great video and sound quality! Creative Touch not only surpassed our expectations but they’ve created a lifelong memory for my husband and I to look back on and remember the genuine love and joy we felt that day. Juan Carlos exuded such professionalism and ease that shooting was fun and relaxing (which can be hard to come by on “the big day”). He captured our dynamic with limited time as our destination wedding was a bit last-minute. We’re forever grateful that we can share this milestone with friends and family that were unable to attend. Many were even moved to tears when watching the video.

I was given advice that having a wedding video was the best investment to make because it’s a way to live through that day again by more than just a stagnant photograph. Creative Touch not only had a way of letting us feel that energy and love again but also had a way of letting us see the details that we may have missed.

Creative Touch Films shot my three day SouthAsian wedding and they are simply amazing. They captured all the moments from the events beautifully. The team is professional and easy to work with. When I saw my wedding video and trailer, I was very happy that I chose them as my videographer. They were able to understand my vision. I booked creative touch films a year ago for my wedding. I cannot stress enough on how amazing the whole team was throughout my wedding. Carlos was super responsive to my needs and ideas. He arranged a meeting weeks before wedding to discuss theme and songs for the video. He and the whole team arrived on time and captured all the moments perfectly. As soon as I received my video, I was super impressed with the editing and every little detail on the video. It looked like a scene from a fairytale. It made me emotional and I felt all those moments all over again. The video literally made me miss my own wedding. Thank you so much Creative Touch Films.

Juan , Pablo and their whole team were very easy to work with and personable. Juan is great with answering emails and he quickly understood the type of shots and filming we were looking for. Juan also helped us to organize our shooting locations for engagement shoot . On our pre wedding, wedding, reception and all other house events Juan and his team were on time. They did fablous job with photography and videography. I would strongly recommend Creative Touch Films .

This review is wayyyyy over due. For some reason I thought it got posted but it didnt. Carlos and his team covered my events a while back and they were the most flexible and accomadating crew during our wedding events. I highly recommend them to everyone and I know I'll be using them in the future as I've recommended his team to several people and they have hired him as well.

Their video quality is excellent as well and you won't regret it!!

We are extremely glad to have found Creative Touch for our reception and wedding. If you are looking for artistic, and dramatic wedding photos and video to capture your wedding day then Creative Touch is absolutely the right choice.

We submitted our inquiry for their service, and started the email exchange with Juan Carlos. We had a lot of questions regarding the Creative Touch service, as we never used a professional photographer. Juan was helpful and patient to answer all of our emails. We also scheduled a conference call to discuss details, and had a great conversation with them.

They came before the appointment time to make sure they get a head start to setup their equipment. Then started shooting photos and video of the hotel and the ballroom. We also went to a nice garden around the hotel and they did a fantastic job capturing the moment. The Creative Touch team gave us suggestion on how to pose, some poses are ones that we wouldn't have imaged to do, but they turned out STUNNING. Trust me, Creative Touch team knows what they are doing with poses. It’s amazing how Juan Carlos and his team can direct in a way that we didn’t feel pressured like no one was around us.
We had a long day of photos and video. They took pictures of our reception that will constantly remind us of our dinner reception. Photos of us, our guest, the customized menu, table arrangement, flowers, and wedding cake and when we saw the reception photos, they were perfect, just PERFECT. I was speechless when I saw the video, it captured every emotional moment which allows us to relive that special time and it turned out better than expected, just beautiful. (Isn’t this what you would want in a professional photographer?).
There are many photographers out there to select from, what we found is that Juan Carlos and his team at Creative Touch aren't just photographers , they are artists, photographers with an artistic flair.

From the day my now husband and I started planning our authentic Syrian wedding we wanted every moment of that day to be remembered. Our emphasize on the professionalism of our photographer and cinematographer was extremely important for us, after tons of research we were lucky enough to find Juan Carlos and his artistic team. I had a very precise vision for our photos and, highlight video and cinematic video needed professional clarification and he knew exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job capturing every special moment throughout our special day. We truly couldn't have asked for anyone better to make our special day complete. Our beautiful wedding day is one of the most memorable events in our life and I must say CreativeTouch captured it all, every last bit of happiness. We are so blessed to have our highlight video and wedding video to share with family and friends for the rest of our lives.

Creative Touch Films is the most skillful group of cinematographers we have found to date in the D.C. metro area. In addition to using highly specialized equipment to create magnificent photos and films, they are incredibly flexible and easy to work with. As one would expect from a very qualified cinematography crew, they were friendly, courteous, and you really do not notice that they are there unless you pay careful attention. The product they deliver is truly top-notch. Note that they have both a videography and a cinematography option. We went with the higher-end product, and it was worth every penny.

Carlos and his team are fantastic! They shot the video at our wedding. They had a crane to get really great shots and I felt like a movie star. Our highlight reel was amazing and captured all the best moments of our wedding.

He also took photographs at my daughters 1st birthday party. He was able to come by on short notice and made the day go much more smoothly.

I would highly recommend Creative Touch Films for your photography and videography needs.

My husband and I acquired Creative Touch Films services for our wedding in April 2017. We were inbetween vendors for a while and Juan Carlos and his team came through at the very last minute! They were super responsive, timely, and professional. Throughout the event, they showcased their dedication to providing stand-out service. We truly appreciated how down-to-earth Juan Carlos was, and his flexibility.

When we received the highlights video, we were beyond pleased! I cried through out :) On top of it they provided the footage exactly when they said they would. We had requested edits and Juan Carlos was super flexible with doing that for us. We highly recommend getting this amazing company for your event!!! Awesome service altogether!

Overall poor experience

OVERALL: Unfortunately this was our worst vendor experience which is really sad because a wedding video is so important to capture the memories of one of the most important days/times of your life. We regret hiring them as we do not have our wedding captured the way we wanted and it is too late to change that. I would not recommend. I would make sure you like their style of work and make sure you are okay with some delays.

DELIVERY AND QUALITY OF VIDEOS: They were late to deliver the videos (weeks and months beyond what the contract we signed said). If it was late but worth it, I wouldn't have minded waiting-- in fact, we told them we didn't mind waiting in order to get a better product. However, we then got a highlight video that was not at all like we requested and we had to essentially walk them through (with very specific instructions) making a new video for us and it took several rounds of editing. It felt like we had to do a lot of their job for them even though they were the professionals. The long movie was also delivered with shaky rendering and many shots were disappointing and hard to watch; even our friends and family agreed and felt bad we "had such a bad videographer." During sangeet performances, instead of capturing the entire group dancing, most of the filming focused on just one person or an awkward body part like their shoulder or leg. I honestly just wished I had set up a basic camera on a tripod to film instead. When we raised these issues, they attempted to fix it, but kept telling us the shots were great and made us feel like we were the problem. Again, the friends and family we shared it with agreed with how poor the shots and overall filming quality was. We were too embarrassed to share more widely.

EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH THEM: Beyond the products not being at all satisfactory, working with them during the weekend of our wedding was also not great. They didn't tell us ahead of time what equipment they would be bringing and just said it would be high quality cinematography equipment. However, this included a GIANT black crane that was right in the center of our wedding setup and blocked the view of an entire portion of the guests and also made it hard for our photographer to take photos without it. I wish they had told us ahead of time so we could have known and told them we preferred not to have this set-up. We sent them our wedding timeline the week before, as we did with all our other vendors, but it seems they did not read and prepare themselves so the videographers were not always ready for shots and didn't know where we would be. While I understand during the event, a lot of things change and there will still need to be communication with the other vendors, it seemed like the Creative Touch team didn't do their part. Instead, JC very unprofessionally told us during the night of our wedding as they were packing up (while we were still enjoying our wedding) that we had a lousy coordinator. None of our other vendors had any issues and while nobody is perfect, our coordinator did a great job managing the overall weekend in our opinion and even according to feedback from the other vendors.

COMMUNICATION: They appear nice and professional in their communication but often the underlying message is full of puffery ("we have the best shots! we will provide the highest quality film!) that isn't true AND it often feels like they are politely telling us we are wrong to be unhappy or that the shots we are disappointed with are actually great. And again, there were many many delays.

I am giving them two stars for at least working with us to keep editing the videos when we weren't initially satisfied. However, overall it was a regrettable experience. I am sure others can have a positive experience but unfortunately that was not our case.

Horrible Experience with Creative Touch Films

I am extremely disgusted with the services that Creative Touch Films provided me for my wedding reception in January.

When I met with CTF to discuss options, I chose videography with a cinematic flair. They showed me beautiful highlight videos that showed the entire event in a 5-7 minute video in a fully edited format. The music choice was great.

After hiring CTF, they were largely unavailable. Following up with them prior to the reception was challenging, and I ultimately had to demand a call with the film team before the reception to narrow down a semblance of a plan. This was all in vain, because the videographer got no good shots of myself or my husband and did not take ownership of getting those shots during the reception. I found out later he did not take shots of my family, any good shots of the guests, or any of the people in attendance.

After the reception, their customer service representative told me that they would deliver the video after 5 weeks. 6-7 weeks later, I got the videos, which were largely unedited, horrible quality, and just absolutely abysmal compared to what they promised me when I met with them initially. I requested a refund, which they denied, however they did work to fix the problem.

I asked repeatedly why this had occurred, and never got an answer. The customer service representative alternated between blaming my “high expectations” and refusing to redirect me to a manager in the company.

Eventually, I got the edited versions. The full video was fine, however the highlight video did not show any highlights of the reception. All my requests for the videos were met with lengthy emails about how it would be a huge challenge for them to include shots I wanted. Eventually, they forced me to provide the time stamps of the shots I wanted in the video (rather than providing the service they were contracted for and just doing it).

Then they posted the video on Vimeo (which I had asked them NOT to do as I do NOT want my video on the internet). Customer Service told me that the link was only viewable by me and would be removed after I view it — so how on earth would I be able to share it with the friends I choose to share it with? This edited highlight video that included the shots I wanted was somehow shorter than the V2 they sent me.

Overall, I am incredibly disappointed in CTF from beginning to end. I am frustrated with customer service - I have asked to speak to a manager for WEEKS and have had no response from a manager. The videos sent to me do not meet the quality that I expected from CTF based on what they promised me. Over and over I have been told that the highlight video is up to the editor, and my suggested edits are always met with resistance. They call this high expectations, however I’m just asking for what they promised me. This company cheated me out of what they promised me, they did not deliver on their promises, and they added a whole new level of stress to my reception. I have wasted money on this team.

In sum, the delivery of this product from CTF was EXTREMELY delayed and horrible quality. If you want to work with a company that will blame you and ask YOU to do the work for them to deliver a semi-acceptable but still horrible product, then hire them.
