Absolutely amazing experience working with Maulin and CSE. Threw down the biggest party of our lives and really kept the energy going throughout all the events! The dance floor was packed from start to finish each night. Communication was always very prompt and clear, and there were no questions left unanswered.

Im the bride let just tell you it exceeded my expectations . you guys were amazing !!!!! It was soo good that Ppl from next door had a wedding and they crashed our wedding lol the music was so good. I loved the balance of the music the energy the vibes . The only time we had a problem was the first dance there was some technical difficulties but how you guys managed the situation was very professional. You made our wedding night amazing!!! Eveyone was dancing and having a good time !!! Thank you for making our wedding night so memorable !!!! I can’t wait to see the video of everything. You guys are amazing!!!!!

Great DJ for our wedding

We had the pleasure of having DJ Maulin and the CSE team as our wedding DJ for three separate events, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic.

First and foremost, CSE knows how to keep a crowd entertained and engaged. They expertly blended a mix of Indian and American songs, which kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. It was clear that they had a keen sense of what our guests wanted to hear, and they nailed it every time.

Their seamless transitions between songs and their ability to read the room ensured that the energy stayed high throughout each event. It was impressive how they managed to cater to both traditional and contemporary tastes, and their skillful mixing meant that the dance floor was never empty.

What truly stood out was their dedication. They kept the party going until the venue’s closing time, making sure that every last guest had an unforgettable time. DJ Maulin went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was perfect, and their professionalism and enthusiasm were evident in everything they did. Their website also was incredibly helpful in keeping everything organized for each event and ensuring that our personal preferences and requests were included.

Incredible DJ for our mixed Indian/American Wedding!

Maulin did a wonderful job at all our events! He brought a ton of energy to the sangeet and baraat. He does an excellent job of reading the crowd and picking the right songs and when an unexpected delay occurred at the baraat he kept things lively all the way through. For the reception, we gave him a list of 20-30 songs as a reference and let him create our reception set based around those choices. Maulin absolutely nailed it, he was able to perfectly balance both Indian and American wedding songs and kept the dance floor full of both sides of the family all night. Maulin was great to work with and CSE was very organized and professional. Overall one of our favorite wedding vendors!

Amazing Services!

DJ Monu did the absolute best job at our wedding! The baraat was full of energy and both sides of the family (Polish and Indian) were all able to have a great time. The reception was high energy and kept us dancing all night. We could not have had a better time. He listened to all our requests and it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend them for any event!

The perfect DJ for our large Indian Wedding

Leading up to the event, Maulin and his team at Creative Sounds were extremely professional and communicative.

In the days and weeks nearing the event, he helped us get organized and made my wife and I feel comfortable working with him, as we discussed our event plans on multiple phone calls.

He performed and multiple events during our wedding weekend, and did a fantastic job each time. He was able to play fun, danceable music for our out-of-town Indian crowd, as well as our local, friend group. We experienced zero audio issues with any of the music or mics during the wedding or reception.

We had a huge wedding here in Chicago, IL, and we've received amazing feedback on the music from those that attended. This is all thanks to Maulin and his Creative Sounds team. We'd recommend his services to anyone!

DJ for Reception Weekend

DJ Monu and the CSE team were absolutely amazing to work with! They were very easy to work with, very responsive, and genuinely wanted to create a memorable weekend for us. DJ Monu really knew how to read the crowd and adjust and mix music on the spot. They were great at collaborating with live musicians as well. Amazing dj

We hired Creative Sounds for our 2022 wedding and could not have worked with a better DJ if we tried! Maulin was incredible from start to finish - very organized, quick to respond to emails, and provided insight on how to optimize our wedding that became invaluable. He was meticulous in planning all the way up until the day of our wedding and reception. As far as the music, our guests were on the dance floor all night. Everyone RAVED about the music - it was a wonderful mix of American and Bollywood with seamless transitions between the two. We got stellar reviews about the music from all our guests, all thanks to Maulin. We would absolutely work with Creative Sounds again for all our endeavors!

Greatest vendor we worked with for our wedding

Creative Sounds Entertainment was one of the first vendors we booked when my husband and I started wedding planning. We 100% knew that we wanted them as our DJ after seeing them at previous weddings we had attended. It was hands down the best decision we had made. DJ Maulin really made the party so much fun and the dancefloor was packed from the beginning to the end. He was very easy to work with in planning, was organized, kept the flow for the night moving and really knew the tone for our group. We also rented foam/glow sticks and uplights that looked great in the reception hall. Would 100% recommend, and if I'm ever in need of a DJ again, know who to go to!

Words can’t fully express how much we loved our experience working with DJ Maulin!!! He is always responsive, helpful, and a breeze to work with. Maulin listened to exactly what we wanted the vibe of each part of our wedding reception to be and came through. The first vendor I booked for my wedding was Creative Sounds and I never regretted my decision. From the responsiveness, to their extremely usable portal, to the amazing DJ…everything went so perfectly. I never had to worry about anything when it came to the music and lighting! I absolutely loved them. I had a smaller wedding but DJ Monu kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! It was a fabulous night and I attribute that to the music and ambiance Creative Sounds created!

Best Decision Ever

Using CSE for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. They went above and beyond to make our wedding a dream come true. From the get go, Maulin was super attentive and willing to talk through any questions we had. Up until the event they made sure we had all the songs we wanted on our lists and just made sure all details regarding music and sound were taken care of. Amazing DJ experience

Between the constant communication, thoughtfulness, and flexibility when it came to our wedding, I couldn't ask for a better experience with Creative Sounds. Maulin really pumped up the crowd and had a great playlist for the reception. Music cues and sound coordinating went off without a hitch. From our first phone call they were personable, kind, and willing to work with us on our vision for our wedding weekend. Amazing DJs! Honest and hard-working

Creative Sounds is a LIFE SAVER. We had a very messy situation with our DJ due to COVID, Creative Sounds took wind of this and provided their services WITH NO CHARGE!!! We are beyond grateful and humbled by this. Any business that is willing to step in and help in such a generous fashion is one of character.
Working with them was a pleasure with fast, reliable communication. DJ Jaz absolutely sparkled at our home. At one point, the power went out and he hopped onto the dhol, and no one missed a beat! It was a beyond memorable night, and would not have been possible without their generous help. Absolutely great group with character!! Highly recommended!!!

Talented and committed company - you can't go wrong!

A wonderful, professional and hyper talented company. DJ Maulin volunteered Creative Sounds for our wedding after learning that the original DJ for our wedding was giving us real grief given changes needed with COVID. He actually provided services for free, and it was just incredible. The dance floor was amped all night long. The wedding was in our backyard, and the power even went out once; the DJ was Jaspreet Singh and he ROCKED the dhol to fill in. I actually thought it was an intended break! The choice of music, clarity of sound, ease of process and clear integrity of business practice was appreciated beyond words. In truth, everything worked out much better than the original plan.

CSE is one of the top sound and entertainment vendors in Chicago and the Midwest. It's so meaningful to know that there are companies committed to high ethics and good work even in these challenging times.

I’m so glad I chose them for my wedding, no one left the dance floor all night, had the music gone on till 2am everyone would have still have stayed on the dance floor. These guys are the best!

We came across Monu and the team while attending another wedding this past year, and at that time we knew we had to have them DJ our wedding! From the initial inquiry till the night of our reception, Monu and Maulin did everything they could to make sure the entire process would be as seamless as possible. Our reception was an unforgettable night for us! The dance floor was lit up the entire night and we honestly could have kept going for a few more hours with Monu playing all the right music. From the white vinyl floor, the 3 LED screens, lighting, the fog machine, and of course, the incredible music, CSE was able to provide us with everything we needed to make this night unforgettable for us. Till this day we recommend CSE to all of our friends looking for an awesome team to work with for their weddings.. Love you guys! :)

ABOVE AND BEYOND. There is no team like Creative Sounds Entertainment. From start to finish working with CSE was a dream experience. This is coming from a vendor that works with many DJ/Wedding Entertainment vendors. If you want a team that you can trust, you must book CSE. These guys are truly professional and keep your mind at ease throughout the wedding process. I booked DJ Monu almost TWO years in advance not only because of his musical mixing craft but because of his professionalism. He met us at our venue multiple times to ensure that our wedding was perfect. To top that off, CSE has the sound, power, and special equipment to arrange a truly unique set up. CSE brought out two huge LED Panels with showcasing pictures from our Engagement Shoot, powerful speakers, and lighting that made our event spectacular. Our guests didn't want to leave our party ‪at 2 AM‬. Let me repeat - ‪2 AM‬! I highly highly recommend!

Maulin did an incredible job working with us for our wedding. He gave us a clearly outlined contract with no hidden costs. When it came to planning the wedding, he had a great online portal where we could share pertinent information. During the day of the event, he did an incredible job working with our wedding planners to ensure they stayed on track. Last but not least, the reception music was incredible and his entire package of lights had the entire venue looking beautiful. Highly recommended DJ Team!

What can I say about Maulin Parikh and his Creative Sounds Entertainment team that hasn't already been said. I first saw them work at one of my friends wedding in Chicago. A year later I started to plan my own wedding and reached out to Creative Sounds Entertainment to bring that same energy. They were easy to work and talk with through the whole process. We shared ideas and recommendations on how to make this wedding special for us. We took there full package including fog machine and up lighting which made the wedding look beautiful and highly entertaining. You can't go wrong with these guys!

Amazing time!! Amazing DJ!

We’re so happy we booked DJ Maulin for our wedding! Everyone had such a blast and the dance floor was so lit and hype the whole evening and the music was amazing throughout which was such an important factor at our reception! We got so many compliments on our music and we even had people who never dance out on the dance floor till late which is always a great sign! It was easy exchanging emails with Maulin prior to the wedding and he reached out to make sure we included everything we wanted to make our music on point for the reception! He made the whole process simple and it was easy sending him our mix of Knanaya, Malayalam, Hindi, and English songs to make all our wedding party entrances LIT and the whole dance floor dancing all night! DJ Maulin also provided an amazing saxophone player during our cocktail hour and he jammed out on the floor with everyone afterwards which was awesome! Everything DJ Maulin provided such as his high quality sound system, the up-lights/lighting, the custom monogram, and dry ice was everything we envisioned and both my husband and I had such a great time dancing the night away so we highly recommend DJ Maulin!

Creative Sounds were the perfect team for our wedding. The lights and music were awesome and helped set the tone for the wedding. Of all of our vendors, Creative Sounds Entertainment was the BEST vendor we worked with! Monu is very easy to communicate with, open minded, dedicated to making your event special and catered to your needs/wants! He was always available to answer all of our questions and conference calls before the event to make sure we were all on the same page, which is a huge stress reliever. Pricing is very reasonable. We received compliments about our receptions months after our wedding weekend from our friends and family! Our reception was a huge success and music was on point all night. The lighting was even better and created the perfect tone/setting for the evening. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who is searching for their perfect DJ!

DJ Monu and his team went above and beyond for our wedding. He responded quickly and was always very polite. He became like a friend to us and we felt very confident that he would make our 900+ guests enjoy the night. He even gave us a nice complimentary surprise during the dancing portion of the night. The music was amazing and he was very attentive to play the music we wanted. The lighting was on point, he even provided spotlight which was amazing. Monu and his team at Creative Sounds including DJ Maulin at the deck were absolutely fantastic. We had a huge wedding at the Intercontinental Chicago Michigan Avenue with big AV demands spread out across three days. Creative Sounds delivered in every way imaginable. Could not be happier with the level of quality. Absolutely no issues, completely stress free. Monu is also at the cutting edge with his technology and really eager to try out and source new, innovative things. He never said no to any crazy ideas and just made it happen. He definitely raises the bar for everyone else.

DJ Monu was amazing. He did our wedding on 10/07. Words can't describe how amazing the lighting was. My entire family was blown away. I been to weddings and seen some amazing lights and DJ skills, but Monu beat them all. I didn't have to worry about anything, he was extremely professional and prompt. DJ Monu was great from start to finish! We were able to meet him over dinner to discuss our vision for sound and music during the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in detail and Monu helped guide us to find the type of music that we were looking for. Monu was a pro on the 1s and 2s all night, and we received constant compliments during and after the reception about how awesome our DJ was and how great the playlist turned out. Monu didn't just play a simple playlist, but professionally weaved in and out songs (based on our previous discussions) to keep the floor packed. At the end of the night, Monu managed to play around 100 different tracks which kept our guests dancing the entire evening. Clear and loud sound, great lights, and a fantastic personality - I would highly recommend DJ Monu from Creative Sounds to all my friends and to anyone looking to crush it with their DJ choice!

We were fairly disorganized and didn't have much time to choose songs etc. Luckily, Pardeep didn't need much guidance from us to make the night amazing! Had quite a few friends (that are generally picky) come up to us during the wedding and tell us they were impressed that he was a real DJ as opposed to somebody who just plays songs in succession like at many weddings. My husband and I were so happy with Monu @ Creative Sounds!!! Monu was professional, very responsive and played amazing music. He took time to understand what our music needs and wants were for all of our events. We probably had a few meetings which he happily attended and even offered suggestions as worked through wedding details. I had struggles picking a few keys songs for the wedding and reception, he sent a list of songs that completely matched what I was looking for. During our wedding events, he knew how to understand what music the crowd enjoyed which was key! Our guests raved about how amazing the music was, non-stop dancing on the dancefloor! Monu was an amazing DJ. Had the best music, completed a thorough sound check so we didn't have any sound problems like the loud annoying screeching. He was very respectful of our play list and was able to adjust the songs accordingly to the mood of the people on the dance floor.

We spent a long long time vetting and interviewing various groups. i was looking at folks all over the world to fly in if need be. we met with Dj Monu & Creative sounds and over several conversations realised they were THE ONE, BY FAR. i listened to their mixes, they sent me soundcloud links to their music, and sets, and saw videos etc. They are the best we met with across the board. i say that having vetted and gone through a tonne of people. we love the live setup, the grooms procession was the best anyone had ever attended cos of their music, the reception was flawless. we had a very complex programme, but they were bulletproof, everything went perfect. they are great percussionists, live. their music choice and unique remixes are amazing, they know how to work the floor. we wanted lots of old school mixes, with new school with bhangra, bollywood, western but with flavour etc etc. we were very specific and they were as good as it gets. i am in the entertainment industry, have organised massive events myself, i really feel i know intl quality A+ standard DJ’s and music programmers and these guys are some at the top of that list. no doubt. Technically superb, all the equipment, all the composure, all the knowledge. their music collection and grasp of it is second to none. we are a tough bar to get over, when it comes to music, and these guys leaped over it with ease. amazing!

Monu from CSE is the best!!

CSE did a wonderful job at my wedding and reception! I really wanted someone who understood what I needed out of a DJ for my wedding weekend. Monu with CSE was that person for me. It was so easy working with him and he is such a kind and genuine person who really wants to make the bride and groom happy.

Coming from a mixed Indian family of Punjabi and Marathi, Monu already had an idea of how to ensure our guests are enjoying the music. We also had many non Indians at our wedding and he knew exactly what songs to play to keep the party going! We had a packed dance floor till the very end!

He went above and beyond to ensure my reception was perfect and knew what the crowd wanted to hear. He even sent me pictures that he captured himself to show me how much fun our guests were having! We got a chance to get to know him even more so after the reception and Monu is a kind, genuine soul! I hope to see him at future events and get a chance to talk to him some more.

Amazing nights of dancing and fun!

Monu was a fantastic DJ and kept a thriving dance floor going during our sangeet and reception! We heard so many compliments from our guests! Creative Sounds is easy to work with and very responsive.

Experience

No mistakes were made on our song selections and order of things. Few songs were unfamiliar during Sangeet night that we got asked about and the wedding ceremony felt quieter than we wanted, but overall it was a good time and we had a blast!

Fantastic energy -- CSE created an environment that our guests still haven't stopped talking about

CSE helped make our event epic. My wife and I met in Miami during college, so our ideal vision for the dance floor was a hype mix of Indian, Latin, and American hip-hop music with some EDM thrown in. Creating a consistent club-like atmosphere and level of energy is not something I'd ever seen a wedding DJ pull off before, but Monu and Maulin absolutely blew us away. If you watch any of their promo videos, that's legitimately how it felt the whole time. They listened to our vision, focused on our playlists, but also ran with it and read the crowd to keep them out there and moving, and the dance floor was full the entire time. We did a package that included a mobile cart for the Baraat, which was perfect, and added a CO2 blaster which was priceless. They did a great job hosting the event generally, including a few exciting surprises. Highly recommend CSE.

Easy to work with, great DJs

Maulin and Monu were great DJs for our wedding weekend in Iowa City. They were pretty easy to work with from a distance over emails, conference calls, and video chats. We had a few delays with emails that in the end didn't affect the wedding, but that's the only reason we gave them a 4 for responsiveness. The music was perfect, especially on friday night for our sangeet. They really struck a good balance of indian and american music. The music was good on Saturday but we heard form our guests that it was a little loud. We would highly recommend Monu and Maulin for your intercultural event and would definitely hire them again.

Overall the quality of work was average.

Overall my experience was average. During my weddings, I noticed a lot of issues such as the PowerPoint not working, certain extras I paid for didn’t go off on time etc. The DJ didn’t play a lot of the Indian music on my list that people asked him to play. I had to show up and tell him to do it. Positives was that they were very responsive to emails and made sure they had all the information needed but the over all execution was not up to par.
