Our guests say they’ve never had better food
I am the youngest cousin of 27.. I’ve been to a lot of weddings. In all those weddings, I have never had better quality food (and for honestly reasonable prices) than at our wedding. (And all of our guests - who have loudly voiced their opinions to me - would strongly agree.) We couldn’t have been happier working with John and his team at CSC. John made us feel like we were so well taken care of from start to finish. He was always accountable...even when there were typos on the quote (by accident!) Every part of the process was fun and relaxing - from picking menus, to tasting with our families, meeting up for drinks to discuss headcount, and, of course, the day of our wedding. Our venue didn’t have a kitchen, and we should have had to rent EVERYTHING, but John kindly volunteered his own equipment to save us from rental charges. One of the scariest parts of the wedding was our rentals budget, and John singlehandedly backed us off the “let’s just not have a wedding” ledge by helping us navigate our rentals contract and paring it down to a swallowable size. He and his team truly went above and beyond in every regard. I’m recommending him to YOU (whoever is reading this) and to all my engaged Santa Barbara friends. -

User1220137 Sent on 06/28/2013My husband Ralph and I would like to say a huge thanks to John and his team at Creative Services Catering for providing the most delicious food at our recent 25th wedding anniversary vows renewal. I had found the company on-line, being from out of town and as such was a bit nervous about the whole thing. John was wonderful to deal with over the phone and email before our arrival in Santa Barbara
, and after the first meeting, my husband and I were completely put at ease that we had made the right choice. John's suggestion to choose 'family style' dining was spot on - and the menu choices that he steered us towards were a huge success with everyone! Thank you so much for helping make our special weekend a superbly special weekend.

It's been a pleasure, truly! We will probably never have such a spectator event again but 2011 will always be remembered as the finest party Ortho Department ever had!

When we were in the planning stages, John met with us on several occasions and listened to our vision of what we wanted. He then helped us make that vision come to life because he knows the Santa Barbara area so thoroughly, so he was able to help us secure the perfect location for our wedding day. John was so knowledgable abo...ut all the details a lovely wedding entails, which was helpful to us since we only had 6 months to plan. On our wedding day, he helped ensure that the ceremony and reception sites were immaculate, just as we had hoped. After the ceremony, our guests were treated like royalty with wait staff awaiting their arrival with trays of ice cold drinks and passed apertifs. His staff arranged a beautiful array of cheeses, fruits, and nuts that we got to customize to our liking.
John and his staff are professional and kind, and John himself has such high expectations for his food and presentation, so you know you will be getting only the very best of what Santa Barbara has to offer when you use CSC. -Erin Morales Vernon -
User1220155 Sent on 06/28/2013This is a ‘Standing Ovation in Print’ for John Savage and his crew at Creative Services Catering for their performance at our 2011 Corporate Holiday Event. From our first conversation, John listened to my vision for the party and GOT IT. He addressed placement of things for a good ‘flow’ through the party and even suggested carpeting a cement floor for a warmer feel. We featured heavy hors d’oeuvres and his yummy food choices were able to accommodate a wide scope of needs such as vegetarian & gluten-free while also satisfying the heavy meat eaters. People are still taking about the beautiful fruit and cheese display.
John’s team was wonderful that evening as they worked through the crowd politely with beautiful trays of food. John himself was very gracious and attentive to the workings of the party. Everything looked wonderful though out the evening. It was a huge success and received rave reviews.
I will definitely be calling on Creative Services Catering for our future Corporate events to insure quality, customer service and ease of planning.

User1220160 Sent on 06/28/2013Planning a wedding can get pretty crazy, but I was so fortunate to have John / Creative Services Catering on my side for my wedding day. It was the best decision to not only use their catering services, but also to have them for day of coordination. Everything went so smoothly from the first tasting to every phone call and most importantly rehearsal and the big day. Having so many choices out there it was so helpful that John was also able to suggest the BEST vendors (for DJ, cake and photography) also. I was so comfortable and put all my trust in him and he did not fail me in any way. It's the greatest feeling to not worry about the people you hire for the biggest day of your life because its hard enough dealing with everything else.
The wedding could not have been more perfect. There were no problems and everyone at Creative Services was on top of everything. My day of coordinator kept us all on time and made sure things happened when they were supposed to. They checked in with me all day throughout the day to make sure things were good, and if my husband or I needed anything. They truly allowed me to be completely happy, care free and enjoy my wedding. Set-up was great, the food was amazing (we had so many compliments on how tasty the horderves & dinner was), glasses stayed full, champagne was passed for toasts in no time, and the cake was cut and served in a flash. They are in every way a "do it all" company...completely skilled and accomplished.
Your wedding day goes by so quickly, with so many things happening at once, that you can't help but look back once it's over and wish you did this or that..Creative Services was one thing that I would not change. We will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs event/catering services without hesitation and hope one day we have the pleasure of working with them again.

Cody and I are very much appreciative for all you did to make our wedding reception special and such a fabulous event! I heard from one of my guest just the other day that she really enjoyed the food. Several other guests have asked me how you got the chicken to stay so moist for that many people. We appreciate that your staff was cheerful, assertive and professional. One of my bridesmaids was grateful to have her vegan meal set aside for her. Thank you for doing all you said you would do, and for going above and beyond for us. You were most gracious to us, giving us what we needed, as well as dealing with Cody changing up things without letting you know! You kept your cool, and you always greeted us with a smile. You are a trooper! Although this thank you is long over due, please know it is very much sincere and we are truly grateful. We have been recommending you to all our friends who are recently engaged. My brother, Cody’s best man, and my Vegan bridesmaid all were engaged shortly after our wedding! We hope to see you again in the future. We have great memories because of you and your staff

User1220174 Sent on 06/28/2013Creative Services catered my wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. The food was divine and the portions were very generous. A number of our guests commented on the quality and the quantity of the food provided. John (the owner) listened to each of our ideas and created a fabulous menu incorporating our every wish. The staff were all very friendly and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending this caterer to any of my friends and have already done so! ~ Megan, Santa Barbara CA
