We were honestly torn when choosing our caterer. We loved the food from Creative Hands Cuisine, but it was a bit more expensive than some of the other vendors we were considering, and it felt difficult to go over the catering budget we had set this early in the planning process. In the end, we adjusted our budget in other areas—and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made.
Not only was the food delicious (anyone who does a trial will taste that), but the team’s presentation was absolutely beautiful. Early on, we loved that they made an effort to incorporate the 5 C’s of Arizona into the menu in a thoughtful way.
The service was truly next level. They even created a fully dairy-free tray for me and custom made all of the appetizers to be dairy-free. I expected it to just be on a standard tray, but instead they presented it on something with smoke coming from it—it was such a special and memorable touch.
Service was the thing we cared about most for our wedding, and they absolutely delivered. We wanted passed welcome drinks, passed cocktails after the ceremony, passed espresso martinis, wine service, passed apps, and a full seated dinner rather than a buffet—and the team was completely on it. We ran a bit behind before entrées because of speeches, and they somehow dropped the entrées incredibly quickly and kept everything moving smoothly.
Sarah was fantastic throughout the process and even got on a call with us and our planner to walk through the food timeline since we had a lot of specific requests.

Sarah and Creative Hands were fabulous!! She was very communicative and enthusiastic with me from the beginning - it was so easy to schedule a tasting and the food was delicious! We were happy with the options (so much variety!) and we loved the sample dessert as well, so we ended up getting desserts from Creative Hands too. On the day of, everything was exactly as we expected/hoped for and everyone specially loved the desserts! Sarah was super easy to work with from start to finish and that made the crazy process of wedding planning so much easier. We would absolutely recommend Creative Hands for wedding catering!! -

Creative Hands 10/10!
We used Creative Hand Cuisine for our wedding at Agave of Sedona earlier this year. I really can't recommend them. First of all, the pricing that they offer for the quality of food is truly unmatched. Second, Sarah Nett was a dream to work with. I made so many requests for quotes, and she did it all with a smile. Additionally, I am a vegetarian, and they were wonderful in giving me options. The food that we had at our wedding was just as good, if not better than the meal we had during our tasting. We had plated dinners, and the wait staff of Creative Hands was truly so professional and kind. Creative Hands' bartender was just as wonderful. Our guests walked away from the wedding raving about just how good it all was! -

The experience from start to finish was flawless. Creative Hands has such unique offerings (as well as the classics). From the tasting to the walk through to the final event production, Creative Hands was a true partner in bringing our dream wedding to life. The portion sizes were substantial, appetizers were to die for!, and the crew was so kind & service was excellent! The team was knowledgable about event production and worked well with our planner in creating the optimal setup / flow. Highly recommend booking Creative Hands for your wedding! -

Sarah and the team at Creative Hands Cuisine were an amazing catering choice and partner for our wedding. Sarah was extremely helpful helping us execute our vision and was totally willing to work with us and be flexible anytime we came to her with dozens of questions over hundreds of emails,
As for the food, our guests were raving about the food every time they had a chance to tell us. Between the presentation and the taste/service, it was arguably the highlight of the big day.
Cannot recommend Creative Hands Cuisine enough. Great service, great quality and the night was executed flawlessly. -

After multiple interviews and research on finding a catering partner, creative hands was hands down the best choice for us. Their responsiveness, timeliness, professionalism and quality of food was unmatched. We cannot say enough good things and we are still receiving compliments on our appetizers and dinner. Sarah was so good and made everything so easy - we didn't have to worry whatsoever which was a big deal for us. 10/10 would recommend!! -

We had a small micro wedding, so we wanted more than just a wedding, we wanted an experience... and Creative Hands Cuisine went above and beyond! This was the first time in a very long time that everyone enjoyed the food, the appetizers, the entire experience! When we were picking out a caterer, we wanted something memorable, and that's exactly what we got! The entire team was so great from the very beginning! We were coming in from another state so we couldn't go try the food beforehand, but after reading all the reviews and talking with the amazing team that we had, I knew everything was going to be EXTRAORDINARY!!! Working with Sarah was such a blast, she helped guide us on exactly what we wanted. If I could do it all over again, I'd find a way to go to a tasting because the food was so good, I wanted to try more things that they offer. Creative Hands Cuisine was the perfect catering company for our wedding in Sedona. Sarah helped plan our perfect meal for our wedding. We did a tasting at their location in Mesa and got to try all the food we wanted for our wedding and it was delicious. Creative Hands prepared plated meals for 85 guests at our wedding and everyone loved it! Guests after the wedding were telling us how great the food was. The servers were nice and professional and the food looked and tasted great! We had hand passed appetizers that looked great too. We highly recommend Creative Hands for your catering needs! -

We couldn't be happier with CHC for our destination wedding. Sarah was always SUPER communicative with timely responses. The staff was very friendly/professional and the food was PERFECTION! Creative Hands was an amazing vendor team to work with for our wedding! They were on the preferred list for our venue in Apache Junction, AZ and we can see why they were. We reached out very far in advance (almost 2 years prior to our wedding date) and knew very quickly we wanted them to be our catering team. They were very excited to customize a menu to meet our dietary needs and preferences. As a vegan couple, they helped us create the most wonderful full vegan menu that our guests, non vegan and all, would enjoy. We got so many complements on how great the food was from all our guests and even from people who were skeptical about eating plant based food in the first place. They even made us our own plates with a little bit of everything they made on wedding night and brought it to our sweetheart table to ensure we ate during the evening. They were also always very responsive to emails and communicated well with us throughout the entire planning process. My husband and I got married in Sedona on February 4, 2023. We started planning with Sarah N. from Creative Hands about 9 months out. She created multiple menus for us, keeping our preferences and budget in mind. Creative Hands has so many unique apps, salads, mains and desserts...it was impossible to choose (in a good way!), but we knew we couldn't go wrong! The tasting that we had with Sarah, Chef Doug and our planner was a blast. Every single bite was not only visually beautiful but tasted incredible. They sent us home with our leftovers which I think we demolished on the way home! We looked no further and were honored to have Creative Hands cater our wedding. The staff were all so friendly, professional and memorable. We are still drooling over the food, as are our guests! Our day would not have been the same with any other catering company. I would recommend them to anyone who is getting married and looking for a caterer that makes quality food and has excellent service. My husband and I received so many compliments on how delicious and fresh the food was. The two items that we would recommend are the short rib tacos and the mini sliders as a late night snack. I also loved that they made sure my husband and I had food to eat. They saved us a plate with all of the appetizers and then brought our food to us from the buffet. We had a wedding for 200 people in the middle of a residential street and Creative hands was able to set up an entire mobile kitchen and cook/serve a 3 course meal with appetizers plus bar service. Our guests had an incredible experience, the food and service were phenomenal. Sarah helped us coordinate everything and had great culinary advice. We had a destination wedding so no one including us were local to Arizona. Being responsive was one of my main criteria as an out of state bride…creative hands always responded within a reasonable amount of time usually within hours of each inquisition. Another main criteria we had for food was that we needed vegan/vegetarian options and they had a plethora of choices to choose from. They were extremely transparent about pricing and had a million options and combinations we could have chosen from. They essentially can cater to any reasonable budget just because of the sheer amount of options they have. The food itself was DELICIOUS and literally all of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the southwest mashed potatoes and the whole meal in general. We opted to do mini cheesecakes (our first date was at the Cheesecake Factory) instead of cake and it was a huge hit…Creative hands truly helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect and they were a pleasure over all to work with 100/10 honestly would recommend them over and over again.

I was down a caterer a mere month out before my wedding and I was lucky enough to find Creative Hands Cuisine, which miraculously had availability. There were a million menu options to choose from and Sarah was super helpful with brainstorming dishes that would meet different dietary requirements and still be tasty. We got tons of compliments on how delicious the food was! However, the best thing of all (in my totally biased opinion) was how much Sarah and the staff took care of us on our wedding day. We opted to add coordinator services to our package and it was the best idea ever. I didn't hear jack s*** about the whole wedding gsetup or anything remotely resembling a problem the week leading up to and throughout the wedding-- Sarah just took care of it. Totally ran the ceremony, SAVED US APPETIZERS THAT WE TOTALLY DIDN'T GET TO EAT DURING COCKTAIL HOUR -

We worked a lot with Sarah the Executive Event Producer. She was extremely organized, easy to work with, knowledgable, and very kind! We had several questions and correspondents with her and each one she went above and beyond to make us feel like we have all of the answers we needed! When we went in for our tasting everything was presented in a very professional manner! The food was delicious and they made amazing suggestions based on our guest needs/accommodations, and our options. On our wedding night we had many guests the raved about the Peppercorn Encrusted Filet Mignon and West Coast Creamy Potatoes! Everything was incredibly flavorful and the staff was very attentive!
My now husband and I are HUGE fans of ice cream and one request we had was to do an ice cream sundae bar at our wedding. We knew we wanted to work with them and they have never done one before, but made it work specifically for us which was awesome!
We would highly recommend Creative Hands to any couple in the Phoenix/Sedona area! -

Creative Hands Catering for the win!
Sarah and her team are absolutely amazing! We got married on cinco de mayo with our family and friends in Sedona and we couldn’t have made a better choice by choosing Creative Hands! She made sure the kids meals were out during cocktail hour on short notice, put our centerpieces out for us and had everyone raving about the food! the waitstaff was so friendly and attentive, and the bartender was incredible as well. I can’t say enough good things about Sarah. She was responsive and detail-oriented. Sarah made sure everything was perfect for us! if I could give Sarah and her team 100 stars, I would! I cannot say enough good things about Creative Hands Catering! I found them when I was overly stressed and feeling like I couldn’t afford the dining experience that my fiancé and I really wanted. Then I met Sarah! We had our tasting and I was immediately put at ease. The food was SO good and the whole team was able to accommodate for our budget and the station style of dining that we wanted. Sarah was super responsive to my emails and made all the changes we requested to ensure our contract was exactly what we wanted.
Day of our wedding was flawless. They even brought decor that perfectly complimented our design aesthetic. We had passed appetizers, custom dinner stations and late night snack stations, ALL of the food was such a hit. People are still texting us and telling us how good the food was. I would 100% recommend the chicken and waffles appetizer and the fish and chips late night snack. They were crowd pleasers for sure.
The service, food, and overall professional left my husband and I so happy on our wedding day and really grateful that we chose the perfect catering company for our special day.
If you want unique food, amazing staff, and an affordable but delish meal, book your tasting ASAP!

A truly AMAZING experience!
Creative Hands Cuisine were simply awesome from start to finish! Doug and Sarah helped every step of the way in creating a very memorable experience for our wedding! We were originally scheduled to have a 70 person wedding in April, then Covid hit and the plan went down the tubes. But when things opened up, we were able to have a small wedding of 12 in Sedona, and Chef Doug and his team came up and just knocked it out of the park with both their amazing food, and awesome service!! From the presentation, (each plate was beautiful) the timing of each course - perfect, and of course the deliciousness of everything was a 10+!! They were a big part of what ended up being a perfect wedding day! We cannot thank them enough, and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, for any event they are planning! Thank you again to the whole Creative Hands Team, and especially Chef Doug!!!

First off I must say that I am a self-proclaimed "foodie" Initially, I was very concerned about the food for my wedding with any venue. Being Italian and originally from New York food is a staple of our family times and is essential. For me, fine dining is a passion! When we schedule our tasting I was settled on settling! And, oh, boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Not only was the presentation impeccable and beautiful but the food tasted amazing too! There were so many delightful choices that we had a hard time deciding. We chose the plank salmon and the beef wellington. The salmon had a delicious housemade marinade that should be packaged and sold! I will dream of that flavor! Since our wedding has happened many of our guests have told us how wonderful the food was. In celebrating our love for each other and our families I am so filled with gratitude that the food was as in all Italian Families the foundation for new memories. The service was great, professionalism was on point with servers, the presentation of the food was appealing and best of all the food was phenomenal. If I could rate the food 1 through 10 I would give it a 9 1/2, and I'm a pretty picky eater. All of my guest 190 of them really enjoyed the food. Said it was tasteful, flavorable and fulfilling. If your planning a wedding or event, I would highly suggest Creative Hands Crusine Team, you and your guest will not be disappointed. -

I've used Creative Hands twice in the past six months. They catered my brunch wedding in May and my company's holiday party (dinner) in December. I can't tell you how much incredible feedback I've received on the food for both events. Not only does Creative Hands make sure everything is delicious, locally sourced (where possible) and GORGEOUS (hi, edible orchids!), but they are really fluent in the language of allergies and other food-specific preferences. Between these two events I had a fleet of kosher, vegan, lactose/gluten/nut-free diners with a host of additional allergies thrown in and they handled them all with tact and class. The vegan attendees of my December event were positively ebullient about the quality of their meal -- they were really touched by how thoughtful and delicious it was. The Creative Hands staff are fantastic and have a real eye for trends and sophistication. The grazing station at my December event looked like it belonged in a portrait gallery and the photographer at my wedding took more food close-ups than photos of me, I think! Should you have the opportunity to collaborate with Sarah Nett you will not be disappointed. She's a true delight. -

My fiancé and I had a very specific menu in mind in hopes of incorporating a lot of our favorite foods. Creative Hands was able to customize a menu that still “flows” with one unified concept but tied all of our requests in tastefully (no pun intended). Sarah has been super responsive and very easy to work with - we cannot wait to show off to our guests their incredible creations! -

My mouth still waters when I think about our incredibly delicious meal. From the salad to the focaccia bread to the steak to the potatoes- I could go on. The food was so fresh and full of flavor and the staff was just as good. Very attentive, polite and efficient. -

From the first phone call, we knew we were in great hands. Maggie was tremendously helpful in setting up our tour, answering our initial questions, and securing our date. She is so knowledgeable and personable, and the Secret Garden is so beautiful that our choice for this venue was a no-brainer for my daughter’s night of a lifetime!!
Next came Monica, the Secret Garden's Coordinator/ Planner Extraordinaire. After booking the Secret Garden for our wedding, she sat with us to thoroughly tackle all details of my daughter's special day, so that nothing was missed or left to chance. She worked with us throughout the process and was there to navigate and guide us through my daughter’s big day ...she is absolutely amazing!!
The service at cocktail hour and at dinner was top notch and on point. Whenever I was ready for a passed Hors d'oeuvre, a Butler was there with one ...much like the Butler in Mr. Deeds!!
After Sarah helped us with planning everything bar related, Jimmy, the bartender, stepped in and was personable, helpful, funny, witty, talented, and kept our guests entertained while they were sampling his tasty libations.
...which brings me to the food... Words cannot describe how incredible the food is. Chef Doug (with his lovely wife Camille) created a mouth-watering menu for us that was out-of-this-world OUTSTANDING (including his famous, signature vanilla-basil lemonade), and Chef Layndon delivered the knockout punch from the kitchen that night for all our guests!! Everyone is still raving!!
We appreciate everything the Secret Garden and Creative Hands Cuisine did for us, and absolutely and whole-heartedly endorse and recommend them to make all engaged couple’s special day as memorable and magical as they made ours!! -

Chasen Sent on 11/21/2017I admit I approached all catering options for our wedding with some healthy skepticism as I always believed it was hard to control high quality when preparing a lot of food. Boy was I so wrong.
We met with Chef Doug Brochu at Creative Hands' office for our initial tasting and was absolutely floored by the food and the attentiveness to what we liked and didn't like. Fast forward to the chaos of our wedding day, I see none other than Chef Doug helping serve guests dishes and answering questions about the food. I was highly impressed to see how hard he worked in overseeing the quality of each dish with a personal touch.
After the wedding, everyone kept raving about how good the food was and I was in complete agreement. Seriously do yourself a favor and give these guys a chance.
