The Best!!!

I had the pleasure of working with Ernie and his team from Creative Compositions for my wedding, and I cannot recommend them enough! Ernie and his team traveled to Manhattan with smiles on their faces for my special day, and their presence was truly remarkable. They were a calming presence in the morning, going above and beyond from the moment they arrived. Despite the rainy weather, they captured every moment beautifully, from getting ready at the Lotte New York Palace to the mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and then the stunning shots on 5th Ave and in Grand Central Terminal before heading to the reception. Many of these locations have strict photography rules and required permits, but with their professionalism and expertise, we encountered no issues and got every photo we wanted. They kept us on schedule, ensuring we were never running behind. Throughout the day and night, they made us laugh and feel at ease, even during moments of stress. We received so much great feedback about our photos, with people saying they look like they belong in a magazine. My pictures perfectly capture the vibe I envisioned for my wedding. I am truly obsessed with all of them! Thank you, Ernie and team, for your incredible work and professionalism!

The Best! Highly recommend!

I cannot even fully put into words how amazing Ernie is! From our first meeting, he made the process so smooth and easy and we felt like family. Everyone warned us that picture taking on your wedding can become a lot but we never felt like that because we were laughing and having a good time with it. They went above and beyond the entire day (he even helped my dad to tie his tie that morning)! When we received our proofs, we were blown away. Each picture was better than the next. We could not be more grateful to Ernie and his team for capturing the amazing memories of that day. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would and could not recommend them more.

I can not begin to explain how wonderful Erine and his team where. From our first meeting we were given top notch service, Erine explained everything to us and helped us pick the package that worked best for our wedding. He didn't just sell us a pre made package on a list. He was great with following up and making sure all our T's were crossed and I's doted.
The day of the wedding his team was beyond belief. They were super helpful and easy going, fun to be around all day. You are with your Photographer ALL DAY AND NIGHT! They were a blast. His daughter worked our wedding and she was like one of the bridesmaid by the middle of the day.
Our pictures are beautiful and more then I could have ever imaged. Purchasing our pictures and picking our thank you's a breeze! Seriously look no further this is the phtotogepher you WANT and NEED!

Ernie was absolutely amazing and did everything in his power to make sure my entire wedding day and experience was exactly what we wanted and he captured every special moment of the entire day. From the very beginning starting with your initial consultation, Ernie took his time with my husband and I to make sure he knew what we were looking for from him and to make sure he could deliver nothing less than our expectations. Our wedding day was that much less stressful knowing we could trust Ernie to capture our memories of the best day of our lives and he did just that. Our pictures are beautiful and we have so many options to choose from for our album. Unfortunately It rained on our wedding day (we didn’t care and it’s suppose to be good luck) so we couldn’t go to our original spot planner for our wedding photos but the rain didn’t worry Ernie. He knew how to work with the weather and to still deliver amazing photos while keeping me sane in the process lol. I would highly recommend Ernie and his team for any special occasion if your looking for a reliable and trustworthy photographer and have high expectations like myself.

I recently got married on August 12th, 2017. Ernie and the crew at Creative Composition came highly recommended by people I trust in the entertainment business so I knew I would be in good hands. However being a nervous bride I did not know what to expect. Ernie and his crew blew all my expectations away! Ernie was always so friendly and answered all my questions. He sat with my husband and I and took time to really listen to my wedding vision and understand my crazy bridal thoughts. He was always patient and answered my emails and phone calls quickly. The day of my wedding was a dream! It flies by so fast and Ernie and his crew were there making sure every step was under control and captured. He made sure we remained on our timeline and all photos were taken prior to my guests arriving so we were able to enjoy the wedding. It felt like they were a part of my family and friends by how comfortable my bridal party, family and husband were around them! We had an absolute blast taking photos and laughing all day long. After my wedding we received a preview of our pictures that week and the rest of our photos shortly after. We had so many to chose from and they really captured the love and happiness of the day. I would use Creative Compositions services for any of my future parties and would definitely recommend them!

It was such a pleasure! These guys are great! Kept us laughing so you get nice natural smiles. Very flexible, especially with my work schedule! They were very accommodating. Creative Compositions, a.k.a. Ernie, photographed my daughter's wedding two days ago.. sheer perfection. Ernie was on time, responsive, kind, meticulous, professional, artistic...yes... But there is more. He paced the event along with the band..and throughout the day, he reassured the bride and groom, with his relaxing demeanor and gentle manner. Without even seeing the pictures, we are so thrilled with CC. When he knocked on the bride's door at sunrise, the wedding officially began. I would never do another event without Ernie a d his crew. It was magical. He was there but he wasn't..every now and again some spontaneous thing occurred and we looked up and there they were. The absolute best part was when he swooped the happy couple outside when the rain stopped to get magnificent garden shots amid the flowers. When the party is over, and you return to normal, it is the pictures that bring you back to the romance and grandeur of the wedding. Pictures count! And we can count on Ernie to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Ernie from Creative Compositions photographed our wedding and we could not have been any happier with our decision! Ernie's talent coupled with his warm and easy going personality made him an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very thorough, prompt, responsive, and professional throughout the entire process. He even called the day before the wedding to check in and make sure everything was okay. Two weeks after our wedding we received over 2,000 photos! Our wedding photos are stunning! They are a perfect balance between traditional and photo journalism. We have so many beautiful photos that I'm finding it impossible to pick which ones we will include in our album. What can I say about Creative Compositions? Steve and Ernie did our Engagement photos as well as our Wedding photos which passed on February 20, 2016. Steve went above and beyond for my (now) husband and I, even for our engagement photos we had an immense amount of photos to choose from, so many amazing shots! I can't wait to see our wedding photos, we only expect nothing but the best from Steve and Ernie. We were so taken aback by how thorough of a job Steve, Ernie, and their crew did -- we expected great work but we got FANTASTIC work, couldn't be happier! We would recommend Creative Compositions to anyone and everyone!

Ernie put bigger smiles on every member of my bridal party than I have ever seen before!!! My best friend used Ernie years ago and recommended him. My fiancé and I sat down with he and Steve and liked him immediately. His personality was infectious and his business sense and professionalism were honorable. He and Steve work beautifully as a team and their talents are glaringly obvious. Steve always has a smile on his face and puts people at ease! Ernie literally throws himself into his job and will do what it takes to get the shot. He has a keen sense of what will work best for the couple and makes every effort the day of and prior to the wedding to really understand your likes and dislikes. He is great with kids and all family members. He went above and beyond and made a pit stop to see an ill family member without hesitation because he knew it was important to us as a couple. I recommend Creative Compositions without hesitation. You won't be sorry!

Creative Compositions has decades of experience working at Long Island's finest catering halls and wedding venues and it truly shows. Steve and Ernie, the co-owners of Creative, are both exceptionally professional, caring, warm and funny, and pay incredible attention to detail. Setting up our package was a wonderful experience. They have so many options for photo albums, large prints, and custom thank you cards and are very helpful with decision-making.
Steve was our lead photographer for our wedding and he was a breath of fresh air. He melted into the background when necessary, capturing all the behind-the-scene shots, and stepped up to direct everyone - even calming my mom down when my flower girl was an hour late! He was engaging and fun, and most importantly, he captured shots at our venue, The Carltun on the Park, that only an experienced professional would have attempted including shots from outside looking through a window, reflection shots in the foyer mirror, and shots through brick columns that framed us so well.
We received our photos within a few weeks after the wedding - 1600+ photos, and spent hours looking at the slide show. The shots were incredible. Wittling down the collection to only 100 for our album was a challenge, but in the end we will have the most gorgeous album, not to mention stunning prints for our home. I cannot say enough amazing things about Creative Compositions and I wish there was an option for 6 stars! Amazing Amazing Amazing!

Ernie and his team at creative compositions are the best! We had such a great time with them on our wedding day. They added an aura of calm and fun to what can obviously be a very stressful occasion. We just got our proofs back and we are thrilled with them. You would have thought there were eight photographers since they got everything. We're a couple from Southern California who traveled to New York to get married this past July. We were initially concerned about hiring a photographer from another state who we wouldn't have time to meet with first. We were so impressed with Ernie's photos online, however, that we decided to hire him sight unseen.

This proved to be the best decision we could have made!

Ernie has a keen eye and a knack for capturing the unique essence of each person he shoots. We were absolutely thrilled with the way the pictures turned out and now have keepsakes for the rest of our lives.

We'd hire him again for any occasion, and HIGHLY recommend him.

We had the distinct pleasure of working with Ernie and his creative team for our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We could not be any happier with our choice to work with Creative Compositions Fine Photography and the proof is in the pictures! We are absolutely in love with both our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. We are having the hardest time narrowing down our choices for our wedding photo album as there are too many gorgeous ones to choose from!

Ernie is extremely professional, friendly, talented, and a pleasure to work with. I am a rather uptight picture taker, but Ernie eased me with his sense of humor and helped me to relax throughout both photo shoots. He has a very creative eye and goes above and beyond to get unique and refreshing photos. Our wedding guests are still talking about his methods in fine photography, from laying on the ground to get the perfect shot to standing on chairs and other furniture items. He was unobtrusive during our nuptial Mass which we greatly appreciate.

This was the 2nd time we hired Ernie as our photographer for bar and bat mitzvah. He is absolutely the BEST! All of my friends who used him agree with me. He takes amazing pictures and he is truly creative, and will do anything to get the shot. He was recently suspended above my basketball hoop, and for my daughter spent a day outside in the snow lying across a train track. The pictures are all WOW photos! I am booking him for my next son's bar mitzvah. With Ernie, there's no stress. Everyone likes him. I got many compliments on his friendliness and humor.

It' not the the first time we have used Ernie at Creative Compositions and it will not be the last! Today with digital photography evribody can take good pictures. What we love about Ernie is the creativity and unique ideas he uses to make your pictures really stand out! We took unbelievable pictures with him in so many different settings including all in black tuxes and bowl dresses outside a beautifull mantion....in the snow! We took casual pictures in a train yard... the unique settings make your pictures memorable. If you are willing to let Ernie's vision and imagination guide you, you will have unbelievable pictures and great memories to keep forever.

Ernie and his staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly and professional. Ernie himself as a photographer is brilliantly creative and quite unique. Ernie was beyond AMAZING... From day one we met him to sign our contract until our wedding day, even days and now weeks after our wedding, his responsiveness was impressive! He is a true artist with a beautiful soul... Getting our pictures taken by Ernie (all of our Engagement, Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Pictures) was just FUN and delightful! We were left with over 2500+ picture alone from our wedding... And picking the best "100" was one of the toughest things i had to do... Because every shot was better than the one before. He has an eye for the perfect light, perfect location and perfect moment! He captured all the feelings of the moment - he made us feel like movie stars! Creative Compositions has been incredible from the day we booked them. Steve was an absolute pleasure to work with! He made us feel so comfortable and definitely made us laugh! Picking a professional photographer is quite difficult when you dont know what questions to ask nor what to expect. As we all know, a wedding is an event in which you need professionals to get the job done right. Photographers need to make you shine and Ernie did just that. The day of my wedding, my makeup artist did not show up and I was left all alone to deal with make up and help with my dress. Ernie gave me his mobile number and contacted me a number of times to reassure me he will be onsite on time and do his job. He also brought an assistant which was an absolute doll and helped me with my dress and make-up and a few poses:). They were extremely personable which I learned is key to hiring photographers. The pictures where linked to me right after our honeymoon. As soon as they received my favorite pictures, we made an appointment to get the album and thank you cards going. David and Jovanna helped me put the album and thank you cards together and helped me chose the best pictures. The entire staff is amazing and have great energy. When we got the package done, I felt like we were all friends and I would certainly do work with them again. They really are the best and have an amazing website to proof it! There is only one regret I had and that was I honestly regret not doing a video with them. Brides..word of advice, DO A VIDEO! My wedding day was great then suddenly it was over. Afterwards I really wanted to relive it again through the videos, but unfortunately at the time, I opted not to have one...HUGE mistake.

We worked with Steve, one of the owners and he was fantastic! I was married on July 1 and the proofs are incredible! We told Steve that we wanted to enjoy our wedding and not be posing all night long and he listened to and respected our wishes. He has am amazing eye. Plus, he can take care of all kinds of flaws and erase them magically from your photos like wrinkles or " back boobs".
I would recommend Creative Compositions to any bride and groom. This isn't a factory where you are just a number. There are two owners and that is who you will deal with. They have assistants nd other photographers but they oversee everything from start to finish and they take great pride in what they do. Their photos and the special effects they can do will make you THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BRIDE ON EARTH!!!!

Ernie and JoVanna are the best photographers out there! I had the pleasure of working with them for my engagment shoot and on my wedding day. I have received sooooooooooooooooo many wonderful compliments on the pictures they took. They really are so talented and wonderful (and funny) to work with. They really are creative! I can't say enough about Ernie and his team from Creative Compositions. We chose Creative Compositions after reading all the positive comments about them on Wedding Wire and meeting with Steve & Ernie. We were a little leary, since we had not heard of them before, as was my daughter and future son-in-law. Ernie did their engagement shoot and they couldn't stop praising them. Ernie made them so comfortable and the pictures were AMAZING. The day of the wedding, the team came and took over. They knew exactly what they were doing and what they wanted, yet they were not in your face. They made everyone relax and they took the most awesome pictures. I never had to say anything to them. Whenever I turned around, they were taking pictures, but they never were intrusive. Ernie had a little video made up within a week that was unbelieveable. I can't wait to see the proofs and then the album. I would, WITHOUT hesitation, recommend them. In fact, my son is getting married in a few months and after looking at other photographers and then going to Creative and talking to them and seeing their pictures, are using them also. I know those pictures will be just as wonderful as my daughter's are.

Ernie and the creative compositions team are AMAZING! I really can’t say enough wonderful things about them. Ernie is so talented and will go above and beyond to get you the best shots. AWESOME!!! It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Creative Compositions and Ernie. Ernie was a joy to work with. He was fun, creative and just incredible. We did an incredible shoot in the snow and to quote my mother who will turn 80 in June she would like to do another shoot (in the snow) with Ernie for her 80th birthday!
So worth every penny, they are images we will treasure forever.
Only problem is picking what you are going to put in an album.

Ernie was the absolute professional. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning. His personally brought out the best from everyone at the wedding. He even got my grandmother to ham it up for the camera!!! Proofs were posted online within two weeks of being back from the honeymoon. Creative Compositions, in my opinion, is second to none when it comes to professional photography. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an excellent photographer.

I called Steve Bergano of Creative Compositions in the summer of 2009 asking if he would be able to create wedding albums for me if I was able to obtain copyright and the images from my photographer who photographed my wedding. He said yes! Well it is now summer of 2010 and I'm so excited I've been crying and smiling with true joy and pleased to share that after 7 years I can say that I have in hand as well as in copyright the wedding pictures of when my late husband and I got married back in June 2003! Whoo what true joy! I get to finally make my wedding album and print up wedding pictures for family and friends.

This is all thanks to family and friends but in particular to Steve of Creative Compositions. I can not verbally offer enough words of appreciation to Steve for what he has accomplished. He was someone who heard my story and he chose to get involved because it was the right think to ethically do with no gain in any form. Integrity like that is hard to find. He went to bat for me over the last few months. Additionally, the other week he devoted his day to checking that each image was of professional quality for use in making albums and enlargements. He asked for nothing from me and expected nothing his goal was to simply help a person in need. There are few people of this calibar in this world, Steve is one of them.

Every time I have called the office or stopped in I was always greeted with a warm hello and total professionalism. The integrity, creative images, and pleased clients can't be matched through a different photographer, everyone their is truely amazing. Shortly, Steve and his team will begin making my wedding albums. The joy and peace I feel are inmeasurable. When I walk in to their office I feel like family now, these are genuine, special people!

I can't think of any other way to say these are the individuals/company you want to be a part of wedding day as they will make it more memorable then you can imagine.

Ernie and all of the professionals at Creative Compositions are the BEST in the business. Our engagement shots were incredible and our wedding shots were just AMAZING. Ernie is SO SO much fun to work with! Posing for pictures was completely natural because he was always making us laugh (on top of it already being the happiest day of our lives). My wife and I can't say enough great things about Creative Compositions. We are both aspiring photo buffs and love photos that can capture the moment in a unique way. When we first met with Ernie, we both knew right away he was the perfect photographer for us. Our only complaint would be that we ended up with too many amazing photos and we have been working on selecting a handful for our Thank You's. We can't even imagine how large our album will be because there is no way can narrow down our choices. Just too many amazing, jaw dropping photos!

Our advice to anyone booking with Creative Compositions would be to sit down and really get to know the photographer and vice versa. I think this played a crucial role in Ernie over delivering on our expectations. He knew what we were looking for and because we developed a strong level of trust and loved his work, we gave Ernie the freedom a true artist deserves.

We looked at a number of photographers before booking with Ernie at Creative Compositions. Although there were others that may have appeared to be less expensive, reviewing the fine print left ambiguity as to what the true final cost would be.

In the end, we couldn't have been happier with our wedding photographs. We received the proofs within a few weeks and were completely floored! Everyone in our bridal party even commented on how great Ernie and his assistant Dennis were. My best man even indicated that he is sorry he didn't use Ernie for his wedding, but is looking forward to seeing him for family portraits!

We honestly can't say enough about how professional, understanding, and artistic Ernie was throughout the entire process. We never thought our photographs would be so spectacular and can't wait to see our album (After we narrow down our photo selection!)

SIMPLY THE BEST! We used Creative Compositions for our July '07 wedding and I can't say enough wonderful things about them. There is a reason why their company is called Creative Compositions - their work is that and more! It was a pleasure to work with Ernie, Steve and the entire staff. They are truly artists, always bringing a unique eye, interesting perspective and wonderful beauty to their photographs - they're works of art. Steve, Ernie, Jo, and Davide are a warm, special group of people. When we first started to plan our wedding, my dad was ill and sadly passed away a few months before we got married. AMAZING! Every single picture that they took was like artwork! They are really talented for taking interesting photos and capturing the passion and emotion in a photo unlike any other photographer. We met with 15 photographers - so we did our research! And, while they are true artists, they also are patient and easy to deal with. They made us feel like movie stars, before our wedding, on the wedding day, and even afterwards. They are so much fun to work with! You spend enough time with your photographer on the day of your wedding - trust me, you want great photos and also be able to enjoy your day! They are professional and curteous, but become like family! We would recommend them to anyone!

Creative Compositions captured the so many beautiful and romantic images for our wedding. They were unintrusive and creative throughout the wedding. Davide and Giavianna were lovely to work with and they make you feel like family. They give you personalized, individual attention when you meet before your wedding and ask you exactly what you picture for your special day. We interviewed many other long island photographers, but no one compares to Creative Composition! You even get to design your album digitally right there in the studio. My husband and I are thrilled with their work and look forward to working with them again soon!

I could not have been happier with my choice of photographer. Both Ernie my main photographer and Giovanna my photojournalist were amazing. they were easy to get in touch with during my planning process and were amazing the day of the wedding. They made both myself and my husband feel great behind the camera and they were able to handle my very large wedding party with grace and flair. Throughout the night everywhere I turned there was a camera so I know they did not miss a beat. Carefree Captivating Photography

From the moment we connected with Creative Compositions Photography we were convinced that we were in good hands. They were able to accommodate our date on short notice and Ernie walked us through the process with professionalism and warmth. Photographers have background as architects as well as photography. This comes in handy as they take fantastic artistic shots involving historic buildings as well as people. They were the only photographers we found who could take great pictures of people as well as locations and we interviewed over 25 photographers in the NYC area.

I loved working with creative compositions on our engagement shoot and wedding. I got married over the weekend and Dave and his crew did a phenomenal job. I would definitely recommend you hiring someone for your day of planner, so you can make sure you get all of the important shots that you want. Family shots are a given but any shots that are important after that you will need to let them knOw and keep thank of if they got them or not. They stayed almost until the end Of our wedding and I feel they captured our day and night well. I have not seen our pictures yet but I am confident that they will be beautiful and creative. Dave has a great eye for shots And Joanna brings her creative candid flair. They are a wonderful team and made me feel like a movie star bride all day. They even made us a dIsk of our engagement shoot to show at our Friday night dinner. We chose creative because my (husbands) sister used them when she got married in march earlier this year and they loved working with them.
