3 separate events, 2 Birthday Events, and 1 Wedding:
I have been to three events that Creative Cakes by Dawn were the cake supplier for these different events! The last event was in July of 2023. Dawn's most amazing and beautiful cakes were always spectacular at each of the events. One being a wedding reception and the most beautiful 3 tier cake was all in display for a beautiful backdrop and pictures. The other two events were large birthday party gatherings, and I have never seen cakes with so much detail and color and lighting, and even movement as on a turning pedestal with lighting. But even that at each event Creative Cakes by Dawn were amazingly beautiful.... they tasted even more amazing than any other cake I have ever had! 100% all around for beauty & display, & taste! Love them all, do not hesitate or look further than to order from them!

Amazing Wedding Day Vendor
It was so important to me that my wedding cake not only look good, but taste good too. Creative Cakes did NOT disappoint! Our wedding cake was beautiful, exactly as I had always envisioned it, and it tasted AMAZING. The flavors were all so good we couldn’t narrow it down to one, so we went with marble for one layer and butter cake for another. The buttercream frosting was also divine. 10/10 I would recommend this vendor to any bride who wants to have a delicious and beautiful wedding cake!

Our cake was PERFECT. From the tasting to the reveal, Dawn and her family got the job done! Their communication was clear; their product was delicious; their creativity is UNMATCHED. Before I was in my dress I was already getting compliments from my girls, family and the staff of the venue. We literally had NO cake to take home cause every crumb was licked clean! (And we even got a Grooms cake PLUS cake pops and macarons!!! Our guests just couldn't help themselves)
I know in the future any special occasions will have our order placed here.

Creative Cakes and Candies is an awesome bakery and made my wedding cake for my wedding in March 2023. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating the perfect cake for their clients is truly remarkable. I had the pleasure of working with Dawn, who was incredibly helpful in creating a beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding day.
One of the things that stood out to me about Creative Cakes and Candies was their willingness to work with me to create the perfect cake. Dawn and I exchanged photos and ideas over text message to help narrow down the look of the cake, and she was able to match our wedding teal color exactly from a texted photo. They also provided a tasting kit that helped us decide on the flavors and fillings we wanted for our cake.
On the day of our wedding, the cake was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what we wanted. The cake stand that they rented us added to the grandeur of the cake and really made it stand out. And most importantly, the cake was delicious! Our guests raved about how moist and flavorful it was.
Overall, I highly recommend Creative Cakes and Candies for anyone in need of a special cake for their event. They are truly exceptional at what they do and I am grateful for their help in making our wedding day even more special.

Beyond our expectations!
We had a small intimate elopement with our closest family and then went back to our beach house for food & cake. We were in absolute AWE when we first saw our cake. Every little detail that we asked for was replicated and THEN SOME. It was stunningly beautiful and tasted absolutely amazing. Most of our family is vegan so our whole cake was vegan and it tasted just like if my Momma made it herself. Delicious. Gorgeous. Thank you so much.

I honestly can't say enough about this company. Working with Dawn was so easy. We met with her to do a tasting and it was absolutely fabulous. She had everything all set up and it was just perfect! Then she came back and discussed with me and my husband our theme and got to know us a little. To make a long story short, my husband is a biker and I have a huge shoe collection due to my love of shoes. Please see what she created for the groom's cake. And then our wedding cake . . . I am speechless so please see the pictures. Our wedding colors were rose gold and black and my nickname is "sparkles" b/c I love glitter and anything sparkly (see pics). If you are hesitating, hesitate no more and give Dawn a call. I will definitely be using them for events in the future. One other cool thing that they do, Dawn makes a cake for the bride and groom on their one year anniversary relieving us of having to worry about where to save the cake, store it, etc. We had a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and our wedding cake was a butter cake with buttercream frosting. As a gluten free bride planning an out of state wedding, I was concerned about being able to find a baker who would be able and willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I was able to choose from practically all the flavors listed on the website (we went with white chocolate and marble). We decided to go with cupcakes for the guests and mini square cakes for the wedding party and parents. The mini cakes and cupcakes were simply and elegantly decorated (I gave some very loose input - colors mostly). Dawn was good to work with and prompt to respond to my inquiries along the way. I tried all three cakes (mini squares, and both cupcakes) and everything was delicious. We received several compliments and those who didn't need know they were eating gluten free cake, couldn't tell they were eating gluten free. We were very pleased with the results.

From the cake tasting to the wedding day, our experience with Dawn and Creative Cakes and Candies was wonderful. Dawn listened as my daughter described her theme, colors, decor, and the feel she was trying to achieve for her wedding. Dawn got it! Where do I begin!!! I searched all through Orlando for someone who could meet my expectations and when I walked into Creative Cakes and met Dawn and Stephanie I knew they would be able to help me. Not only are they awesome people, but their cakes reflect their passion for the art as well as the client's needs. I had a vague idea of my cake and the result was mind-blowing! Dawn was extremely knowledgeable and was able to talk me through a few ideas I had (thanks pinterest for filling my head with ideas!) with patience to find what would work best for my wedding and our personalities. I wish I could upload a picture of my cake to show you the attention to detail placed into this. The look was not all the appeal to Creative; the amount of flavors they offer was amazing! We were able to choose two flavors after a taste test and the result was raved about among our guests! The moist, flavorful cake was gone in a matter of 30 minutes! Leaving us with our top tier to freeze and bottom layer to ourselves for later.

I wish I could upload a picture of our wedding cake so you could see for yourself how beautiful it turned out. Dawn took my vision and turned it into a masterpiece. We had more compliments about our cake and how amazing it looked and tasted. They even makes you another cake for you to have for your year anniversary. We are definitely looking forward to that! I made the right choice with Dawn and her team. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Being in the wedding industry myself, there was no question Dawn with Creative Cakes would be doing my wedding cake. I have worked with her so many times, but not on the side of me being a bride. From the tasting, to communicating my design, to complete execution on wedding day...was AMAZING! Look no further, you have found your baker! The BESTTTTTTT of the best! Not only was our cake gorgeous, we are still getting compliments on how amazing it tasted!

Is there any way to give more than 5 stars?!?!? Creative Cakes was an all around amazing experience! From the tasting to the wedding everything was better than perfect! Dawn sat down with us and she designed what she thought we would want free hand, and the masterpiece she made blew my wife and I away. My wife is an amazing person, but she has very distinguished tasted, some may say difficult, and she couldn't have been happier. We did "birds of paradise" which is a beautiful flower in Florida and it has many colors, and they LOOKED REAL!!!! It was elegant, yet tasteful, beautiful yet oh so pretty. Like a Florida sunset. I have been to many weddings. The cake is usually fine. NOT A CRUMB WAS LEFT!!! It was devoured and people still talk about the Raspberry Chambord, and the daring yet popular Chai, and the Chocolate was fantastic! My wife and my first year anniversary is coming up in a week. Instead of keeping the top of the cake, freezing it for a year, and eating dried out frozen cake, Dawn is making us a mini cake fresh for us to enjoy on our anniversary. If you are planning on getting married within 100 miles of Melbourne Fl, even if you have to make a drive to get it or for the tasting, you are making a mistake going anywhere else. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say my greatest thanks to Dawn, her husband, and the fantastic staff at creative cakes for being a highlight of our perfect wedding!

Our Wedding was 2/10/17. Creative Cakes was amazing. From our tasting to our wedding day they really out did themselves. We got our cake, lighting and monogram from them. Dawn really made our wedding dream come to life. I seriously can't thank them enough. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. If you're looking for your wedding cake, look no further, if you want something beyond what you can dream, you've found it.

Creative Cakes and Candies and HANDS DOWN the best in all of Melbourne! My husband and I live in Seattle, WA so getting married in FL made the planning a bit difficult. We first met Dawn in December 2015 when she was in the midst of her toy drive and extremely busy. Dawn went out of her way to let my husband and I taste test cakes since we only had a few days left in FL. She set up a perfect taste testing arrangement along with great advice on how we should create our "perfect cake"
The part I am most impressed about though, was our Groom's cake. Again, living in WA I didn't have time to go into her office and plan out exactly what we wanted. Instead, I gave Dawn a few ideas and told her to run with it. I was BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful and perfect and DELICIOUS our Groom's cake was. She did an elegant Seattle skyline that was classy and all around just perfect! (Get the cinnamon bun flavored cake, you won't regret it!)
My husband loved his groom's cake so much that we are getting it sent out to Seattle for Valentines day and it is 100% worth the cost of overnight shipping. Dawn and her team have a true talent and we were lucky to have them be a part of such a special day! :)

Creative Cakes did an amazing job on my mother's 70th birthday cake. My mother likes to knit and crochet and the cake looked exactly like a sewing kit and balls of yarn! My mother absolutely loved it! The cake was delicious! I want to thank you for making my mother's day so special!

I can't tell you how thrilled we where with our grooms cake we had made for our wedding. It was a surprise for my groom. She made my husband motorcycle and it was so much like his he was shocked. She had every detail perfect. Plus the cake was delicious. I highly recommend Dawn. You can't go wrong.

My husband and I met this vendor at a bridal show in Melbourne. I had a specific cake in mind I had seen in a bridal catalog and wanted someone to create it for me with some minor modifications. I attempted to find a baker in North Carolina where the wedding was to take place to make it and NO ONE would ( in Boone, Blowing Rock or Charlotte).... Dawn at Creative Cakes, however, was more than happy to create our masterpiece AND deliver it to North Carolina for us. Not only Beautiful, it tasted amazing...raspberry Chambord cake and Light cream cheese icing...best cake we ever tasted! Keep in mind our expenses included the beautiful cake, a matching groom's cake, our 1 year anniversary cake and delivery to North Carolina from Florida which was all well worth it for me.

Dawn brought our vision to a reality. The cake was beyond words - stunning! It was so elegant and timeless, I couldn't believe that was OUR cake. They're absolutely incredible! I've used them on multiple occasions. For a wedding and a bridal shower. All of the cupcakes, the cake and the rest of the sweets I ordered were absolutely perfect. They not only looked beautiful, but they tasted amazing! Their attention to detail is one of the things I absolutely love. Presentation is everything! Can't wait to use them again :-)

They are the BEST!!!!! We were so thrilled to have Creative Cakes at our wedding celebrations leading up to our very special wedding day! Bridal shower cake and cupcakes, rehearsal dinner mini desserts and of course our AMAZING wedding cake and groom cake!
They have every flavor you could imagine. Cake tasting blew our minds! Their cakes are literally a work of art. Our wedding cake matched the exact lace print of my wedding dress and the groom cake was my husband and I with our surfboards at the beach (matched a picture of us at the beach perfectly!). Everything they did exceeded all of our wildest expectations. Thank you to the whole Creative Cakes team!

Wanted something simple flavor wise and style wise, and Creative Cakes gave me just what I wanted. We ended up going with a White Chocolate & Strawberry combo which was perfect amount of sweet & fruity. Dawn is a wonderful person to work with and would recommend to anyone else!

Dawn and Creative Cakes is FABULOUS!!! I took her a picture of what I wanted, and with her imagination and skills she turned it into something even more spectacular!
