Dennis (create a sound) is amazing ! My best friend had him as her DJ and from there, we booked him for our wedding (ceremony, and reception) and couldn’t be more pleased. Dennis quickly responded to all my inquiries and requests, was very professional and friendly. From my best friend’s wedding, I was aware of how he ran his timeline up until the wedding and knew he’d be meeting with me a week or two out from the wedding.. which If I didn’t know beforehand, would cause me to panic; however, don’t worry, he does this so your wedding and requests are fresh in his mind! If you want things done beforehand, he is very flexible and accommodating! Dennis is not only a great DJ, he’s a very sweet and kind person! Also, a huge plus, not a cheesy DJ trying to make jokes throughout your wedding. He’s a great team player and knows the interworkings Of a multi component wedding team! I’d highly recommend him !

Anyone who's ever attended a wedding or is planning a wedding knows how important it is to choose the right MC and DJ. They not only set the tone for the wedding, but more importantly, work very closely with your coordinator to ensure everything is executed on time. To cut to the chase, Dennis was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! He was very professional, organized, and easy to get along with. His prices were also very competitive and fair.

Dennis was very proactive, organized, and constantly communicated with us. We are very busy people and throughout our entire wedding planning, Dennis was always quick to reach out to ensure we stayed on schedule. He always tried to work around our schedule and was very patient to answer any questions or address any concerns we had. Additionally, his experience and attention to detail really helped us plan an efficient, but practical schedule for our ceremony and reception.

Save yourself the headache and stop wasting time, book with Dennis now. Some DJs might lure you with their snazzy website and marketing, but trust us, Dennis will not disappoint. He's got a great playlist and will play whatever you want. When choosing a wedding DJ, you really want someone who's going to work for you, make you feel comfortable, and give you peace of mind. You also want to make sure he or she makes a great presentation. You don't want someone that looks like your dad or mom!

Dennis was an extreme pleasure to work with and made our wedding night an unforgettable experience! From the first day we spoke with Dennis, we loved his professionalism, passion, and knowledge about music, weddings and his DJing experience. The process of planning a wedding with Dennis was super easy and enjoyable, from the forms he provides to help pick out music to our phone discussions to solidify all the night’s music and events. He gets as much insight as possible to understand and recreate your vision and make sure everything goes perfectly. Even though we had many of our own ideas, Dennis was always willing to offer suggestions and advice, which we really appreciated. He made the night flow smoothly, he knew when to get the crowd up to dance, when to change the music to match the audience, and he's got a great voice for announcements. We can’t say enough great things about Dennis, he helped make our night special and we couldn't be happier. We highly recommend Create a Sound Entertainment!

Dennis is awesome! He was very responsive, great to work with, and made our wedding so fun. We had some tricky Italian names and he really made an effort to get the names right, which was so nice. Dennis was great from start to finish. Our dance floor was packed all night, and he appealed to all ages. We gave him an idea of what type of music we were into and just let him run with it. He did a great job blending beats, playing appropriate music for whatever point of the night we were at, and was confident, clear, and on point when performing his MC duties on the mic. We had a ton of complements from our guest about the incredible job he did. We would definitely recommend Dennis for your big day.

Dennis Pfingston the owner of Create a Sound Entertainment and is an amazing Dj. From the moment my wife and I spoke to him on the phone we knew he would be a prefect fit to our wedding event. We loved everything form his style professionalism and structure. He brought noting less on our special day. Dennis also can provided a wide list of songs from different genres that can help if you don't have any songs in mind but is willing to use whatever you my have also. He also provide other services such as Illumination services to go with your event that can add a touch too the abeyance. Overall we loved Dennis and his energy he brought to our special day.

We met with Dennis shortly after getting engaged, knowing that an amazing DJ was at the top of our priority list. He made time to meet with us right away and went over what he had to offer and exuded professionalism and enthusiasm...he knew what he was doing and was passionate about it! It was a no brainier...we hired him practically on the spot and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Dennis was prompt and thorough with all follow up communication and provided amazing customer service. There was never a time when we weren't 100% confident that he was going to do an amazing job. The pre-wedding meeting went smoothly, he covered every tiny detail and was super accommodating with a few special requests. He prepared a detailed timeline and sent it to us right away for review. The day of the wedding, Dennis brought his A game! He kept our event running on time (even a bit ahead of schedule!), he read the guests perfectly and had everyone, young and old, on the dance floor all night! He is the perfect choice if you want a well-run, completely customized, perfect wedding day! Thank you Dennis, you are the BEST and we will definitely be recommending you to anyone needing an amazing DJ! ;) P.S. Definitely splurge on the uplighting package, it completely transformed our reception space! It added that something special and was worth every penny!

Dennis was amazing!! He was very professional, honest and friendly right from the first phone call. We live outside of San Francisco, and were getting married in Laguna Beach, so most of our interaction was over the phone. Dennis responded to my emails and phone calls immediately, remembered every detail we discussed and had my trust from the very beginning. I would whole-heartedly recommend him to anyone and everyone I know. I'd give him 100 gold stars if I could.

Dennis was one of the preferred wedding vendors for weddings held at Tivoli Too. Now I know why! We worked with Dennis for pre-planning and he was our DJ for the wedding. He was great. During our planning meetings, he knew the layout of the property and was able to give us advice on what he had seen that worked really well. He let us give as many, or as few songs as we wanted for the reception and played them in an order that went with the mood. When the schedule shifted a bit, he made sure to check in with us so that everyone was on the same page with the adjustments. Our guests danced the entire time and had so much fun. If you want a vendor with loads of experience to make your day stress free, go with Create A Sound Entertainment! And choose Dennis!

Dennis at Create A Sound Entertainment truly made our wedding! We knew the minute we met with Dennis, and we had met with a number of different DJ's referred to us before we met with him, that he was the one for us. His demeanor, style of music (which was very diverse and so is ours), organization, pricing and presence were all things we were looking for. We instantly felt comfortable booking him for our wedding.

His communication throughout the planning process was appreciated as well. He was organized in contacting us and touching base. He sent us the contract and gave us all of the paperwork to review and some song ideas to look at when we first met. We met for a second time a few weeks before the wedding where we filled out his paperwork for the day and went over our song selection, genres, lists, etc.

The day of our wedding he was very organized, kept everything running smoothly, and definitely kept our guests on the dance floor - which is all we wanted! He played a great mix of music the entire night for us and we danced all night with our guests. Our wedding was an incredible and memorable day and Dennis had a part in making it so easy and organized. We highly recommend Dennis at Create A Sound Entertainment as your DJ for any function or party but especially for your wedding. We couldn't have found a better DJ!

We did not really know what we were doing when it came to planning the actual wedding. Dennis did an amazing job of listening to what we had in mind, and making helpful suggestions so we could get exactly what we wanted. He not only provided a great dance party, but organized the entire reception plan: speeches, first dances... Best of all, he had an amazing grasp of how to play the right music at the right time. He curated the mood through the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He kept our guests enjoying the dance floor all night. Many of our guests went out of their way to tell us how impressed they were by our DJ.

Dennis provided us DJ, MC, and lighting services for our wedding reception at Talega Golf Club. He gave us the most reasonable price. He was always punctual and professional each time we met. He even helped us put together a schedule for our reception and ensured our event would run smoothly according to schedule. We had an Indian fusion wedding and wanted to play some Hindi music. However, we didn't get a chance to pick out the songs. Dennis played some songs for us at the reception and I was impressed with his choices. The music and his energy really got people moving on the dance floor and we couldn't be happier. Dennis was wonderful at our daughter's wedding! He was very reliable, professional and accommodating.

During the reception he really kept the party going for us! He had all the young people on the dance floor. He was very upbeat and played all the right music to keep the fun vibe going. We had many compliments from young and old on what a fun night it was, which we credit to Dennis and his DJ skills.

Dennis put a timeline of events together for us which made everything run very smoothly. When you are hosting a wedding there are so many things to do and keep track of. Once the reception started, he took over and we had our first opportunity in literally months to relax and enjoy the experience. This meant everything to us!

I was very last minute with the slideshow, which surely made him have to change things around in the final hours of planning. He was so accommodating and never complained, he was nothing but nice and helpful so that we could have our slideshow.

We highly recommend Dennis to anyone in the hectic throws of wedding planning! He will give you one less thing to worry about! He was very reliable, so easy to work with and did such a fantastic job!

Dennis is the best!! We hired him for our wedding in April and everything was perfect. He was responsive, professional, fun, and not at all a cheesy wedding DJ that you may have encountered in the past (no offense, Dennis!). He took all of our requests into consideration and he made sure the mood of the reception was just perfect throughout the night. We even gave him the difficult task of playing 9 different entrance songs for our wedding party introduction and he handled it like a pro. We would highly recommend him!

He even found a way to incorporate a few difficult special requests into his set... and make it seem totally natural. On top of all this, Dennis also provided a great lighting and AV package so we could play a video montage to accompany our dancing. AND he was a great emcee! Not over-the-top... just right. We booked Dennis for out wedding that was supposed to take place June 21st, 2014. But as luck would have it a baby changed those plans and we had to bring in the wedding to March 8th on 3 weeks notice. Dennis was awesome, did a great job, was super flexible, and everything went on without a hitch. Great job! Totally recommended to any party/event planners.

Dennis actually DJ'd at a wedding we attended last year, we liked his style so much we decided to book him for our own wedding. BEST DECISION EVER! From day one he was so helpful, quick to respond, and fun to work with. We live in Dallas, TX but our wedding was held in Anaheim, CA, so all of our conversations were via email or phone calls. He helped make the whole process stress free! He even went to the venue the week before the wedding (before we were even in town yet) to check out the ceremony and reception sites. He stopped by again the night of rehearsal to explain his game plan for the wedding (something he did not have to do but were so happy he did!) The music was PERFECT!! He touched on so many genres and we got a number of compliments from guests!! SOO HAPPY WE GOT TO WORK WITH DENNIS!! He was my favorite vendor we had! Thank you again Dennis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We really couldn't have asked for a more professional, fun, awesome dj for our wedding. From the first time we met I knew that Dennis would be a perfect fit for the big day. He responded quickly and fulfilled every request without hesitation! Our guests loved him and the night was perfect! I would highly recommend him and will forever refer him to our friends and family.

Create-a-Sound Entertainment was awesome! Truly a pleasure to work with the DJ, Dennis - he was very responsive, helpful and incredibly talented. I highly recommend Dennis for anyone special day. Both my husband and I are what you call type A personalities being that I am an attorney and my husband being a financial planner. Music was very important to us because we wanted our wedding to be fun and enjoyable for our guest. However, We ended up giving Dennis a feel for the music we liked and then trusted Dennis to take it from there. And it was the best decision we made. The dance floor was constantly full and everyone had such a great time. Everyone of all ages was up on the dance floor. He made our day so unforgettable and We will be eternally grateful to Dennis. His service is impeccable even after the event. He sent us a thank you card and a mix of the music played at our wedding. We were floored.

DJ Dennis was referred to me by a friend of mine who is also a DJ and attended a wedding that he did. Finding a wedding DJ was something of a nightmare for me and I was really not looking forward to it. I had images flashing through my head of the Chicken Dance and bad Strip club type personalities. Yikes. So, when I emailed him and he got right back to me we were off to a great start. We wanted something quite a bit different and not very traditional and he was right on board. He has a very calm and confident demeanor that immediately put me at ease. He was very knowledgeable about even my somewhat obscure music references which made it fun.

The particular wedding venue that I chose had actually offered us a Boom box to use for the ceremony to which we were horrified but politely declined and then they said that they could hire a keyboardist to play as well. Needless to say our eyebrows were knitting sweaters imagining the new age type wedding that was not our style at All. Well, I asked Dennis to help and he basically ran the whole show. I am so grateful that I hired him. He made our wedding smooth, classy and so much Easier!

I found his rates to be extremely reasonable for the services he provided. He really bent backwards to get my vision and make it happen. Thank you Dennis! You saved our wedding!

To start off, if there was a 10 stars i would click it. DENNIS!!!! we love you man! you made our night a one to remember! All of our guests were on the dance floor cutting alittle rug. EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED! now that we've seen some pictures our dance floor was packed! We love that you didn't play anything cheesy and you were on point on the music that we liked! Anytime we have another event, you would be our first and last choice for DJ. THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!

We booked Dennis for our wedding and let me tell you he was great!! We had a great vibe from the first meeting with him and the vibe was true. He was super fun at the wedding and played damn near ever song on our play list! His rates are also better than every one else we looked at. Our guests were on their feet dancing all night and he helped make our wedding amazing! 5 stars all the way!

Dennis Pfingston was absolutely phenomenal. He was professional, punctual, and offers more than just a DJ. He hosted the entire night and the flow of the reception was smooth as can be. The music choices and mixes were amazing and he did very well with sticking to our genres of choice. He also mixed it up really well so no one got bored. At the end of the night, people didn't want to leave the dance floor! I would highly recommend him to anyone and am definitely spreading the word by mouth to friends an family who are getting married. He's also very personable, and easy to contact. Things are straight forward and he makes himself available to meet with you more than once before your event. I don't think we could've gone with anyone better.

I loved Dennis - he kept our incredible dance party reception going from the first second to the last dance. I was sooo specific with my music- I wanted exactly the party I wanted, and not only did he play everything on my must-play list, and nothing on my do-not-play list, but he supplemented it such fantastic music that everyone from my Grandma to my teenage cousins danced the night away.

Dennis was professional in every moment. He kept the night moving and did an amazing job of introducing the speeches and dances in a low-key, unobtrusive way. He was perfect and I could not recommend him more highly.

We had such an amazing and perfect wedding. Dennis was awesome!!! He made the evening flow from start to finish. We gave him our choices of music and he mixed in his which had our dance floor buzzing. He has this really cool funky feel to him which gives you the idea of his skill and experience. We had our wedding at Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach over Labor Day weekend. Denise was a recommendation from our venue. We were very happy we went with him. He had great song selection, was able to read the crowd and kept the vibe up beat all night. Great value for the price, I will use him again if i ever need a DJ.

I was a guest at a wedding a couple of years ago that Dennis did and had the best time dancing the night away. So when it came time to choose a DJ for my wedding it was a no brainer. Dennis brought the fresh approach to my wedding that was really important to me. The lighting made such a difference too. He really understood the kind of music we wanted and what we didn't want. I have known and worked with the owner of Create a Sound for years, so when I started to plan my wedding I knew that this was the company that I wanted to DJ and Light my wedding. The service I received was beyond anything I could have imagined. The lighting was gorgeous and extremely personal! Dennis had special ordered custom Gobo lights to shine on the roof of our tent. Dennis got everyone (parents, friends, kids) up and dancing the entire time! He was not only great at spinning the music and playing everything we wanted, he was also AMAZING on the mic! He stuck with my timeline (even when I was running behind) and kept the party moving along! Dennis made my wedding perfect and I would recommend Create-a-Sound to everyone and anyone!

Dennis came highly recommended by a friend of mine. I was looking for a DJ that was not too over the top wedding guy but also someone who could keep the night moving and fun. I also wanted someone who was well versed in hip and alternative music. Dennis was so easy to work with and as soon as I explained my wedding vibe he picked out the perfect choices. Not only did he do his job wonderfully the day/eve of my wedding but he also helped step in when my coordinator dropped the ball. I cannot say enough good things about Dennis. Dennis was the DJ for our wedding and he was awesome! He was very easy to work with and quick to respond to questions we had. He was able to help us with our wedding play list and also make changes on the fly. He kept the wedding moving and kept our guests aware of what was going to happen next. He was able to improvise when needed, both with the music selections and also with the announcements he made.

At our wedding, DJ Dennis Pfingston was professional, accommodating, and energetic. The wedding was Polish, Filipino, and American. He was able to entertain our wedding party and responded well to our request. He played music to entertain all. The uplighting he provided uplifted our reception hall and completely changed the atmosphere to a warm and inviting place. Not only did he DJ for us but also MC certain events during the wedding reception. He was simply great!

Dennis was amazing! I am very particular about the kind of music that I like (not super into Top 40) and I felt like Dennis really understood and catered to that fact. Our wedding was amazing - Dennis did a great job! Everyone was dancing and complimented the music.

Dennis was great to work with. He was easily available throughout the process and willing to work with our pre-selected music. Dennis, the DJ was very easy to work with. He kept things moving along wonderfully at our wedding, and he has quite an extensive music catalogue. If we ever plan another big event which requires music, we would definitely use Create a Sound again.

Dennis with Create-A-Sound was a great DJ and very professional. He met with us several times before the wedding and helped us plan the flow of the evening. He kept everyone entertained with the music, and was able to quickly adapt to several last minute changes during the evening. He played the styles of music we requested, and I would definitely recommend him.
