Hopkins Heartland’s Covered Bridge is the picturesque setting for your coastal wedding. The historical farmhouse and barn structures set amongst the coastal countryside create a romantic and serene setting for your wedding and weekend. It was special to celebrate a momentous milestone for our families at the Hopkins family’s first state legacy!
The Hopkins Heartland team easily rivals our affinity for the venue—Ingrid, Corrine, Katie and Bridget were warm, welcoming, communicative, and uber easy going. They’ve either perfected the science of hosting or not letting you see them sweat.
We also recommend taking in a gorgeous sunset or sunrise while you're there. Top to bottom, we were thrilled with the venue, accommodations, staff, and support we received to help make our wedding such a beautiful and special day. -

We LOVED our experience at Hopkins Heartland. We got married November 25th, 2023. It was the most beautiful venue and the most beautiful weekend. We were welcomed with open arms the entire weekend. Corrine, I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for making our wedding a dream. Ingrid, thank you for letting us experience what Hopkins is all about, which is the beauty of the Inn, the barn, and the landscape. -

Amazing! Everyone was so wonderful and very nice!
Over all experiences.. AMAZING! Everything was beautiful, the staff was a wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and had all hands working from sun up till sundown (literally)! Huge thank you to the Hopkins team. -

The best day ever!
The Honey Bee was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our marriage. The Honey Bee offers a ton of natural beauty, it’s a gorgeous venue. The Honey Bee team was so supportive and helpful the entire planning process. We loved working with them! -

Honey Bee Barn was an absolute dream. I was so incredibly impressed and happy with how everything turned out. I can not think one thing that I would have changed. The preferred vendors Were so organized and friendly. I highly recommend honey bee for any couple that is looking to have an intimate wedding!!! -

Hopkins Heartland Honeybee was perfect for our June wedding. The location is intimate and warm.Gorgeous surroundings and sunset views. Beautiful barn for reception. AMAZING staff + very professional- special shout to all of the girls that helped make my big day such a succes! Staff went above and beyond what was expected of them- helping with set-up/clean-up and everything between. Our guest absolutely loved the ice cream cart(provided by Hopkins Creamery) a super fun and unique addition to our wedding day. -

Easy and dreamy
Start to finish it was easy with Corrine and Ingrid. Beautiful venue and perfect for our 80 guests. Liz was there for us throughout and we couldn’t have been better hands. We created the best memories and Hopkins Heartland (Honeybee) is part of it. -

Covered Bridge Inn
Hopkins Heartland was all I’ve ever dreamed of. We chose Covered Bridge Inn after following them on social media for a few years. It is the only venue I wanted to visit, and it felt like home when we arrived for our tour. Corrine was there for every question throughout the planning process and Ingrid just makes you feel at home— even just on tours. Fast forward to wedding weekend and Katie was the best “Inn Keeper”. Her smile was always warm and welcoming and the breakfast… to die for! While most brides are spending the morning of their wedding stressed, I spent mine relaxed knowing that CBI worked so well with all of my vendors. There is not a single thing my husband and I would change about our wedding weekend and we have the wonderful Hopkins Heartland Crew (and our vendors) to thank for that.Hopkins Heartland's reply:

It was a great experience, beautiful, no stress day!
Justin and I got married at Hopkins Heartland September of 2022 and we could not have asked for a better day, team or venue! Everybody there was so extremely helpful and we had no stress that day. We can't thank everyone enough. The pictures came out gorgeous especially with that beautiful area! We highly recommend!Hopkins Heartland's reply:

Believe it or not, Hopkins was the first and only wedding venue my husband and I visited. After researching venues in Connecticut (where I’m from) and New Jersey (where groom is from), nothing seemed to be an appropriate ‘package’. My husband and I have been vacationing in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area for over five years and he was the one that actually convinced me to explore options.
We were already looking for a relaxed and rustic feel, and after touring Hopkins, we were sold! We chose the Covered Bridge, three-night package and it exceeded our expectations. From the comfort of the Farmhouse, to exclusive access of the property Thursday-Sunday, it made coordination and getting ready that much easier. We were able to host an intimate rehearsal dinner on Friday, enjoyed home made country breakfast with our closest family and friends Saturday and Sunday, and were able to make our wedding weekend truly ours. The space allowed for both indoor and outdoor options which allowed for flexibility with weather and COVID in mind (our date was 9/10/2022). The entire staff were incredibly kind and professional, there were no hiccups. Additionally, their preferred vendor list made choosing food, flowers, décor, photography, hair and makeup a breeze. We were also referred to a stellar local wedding planner which was vital to planning from outside the state.
If you are looking for THE venue for your wedding, look no further and go visit Hopkins Heartland today.

Amazing! Absolutely the best to work with. They are always available and willing to answer questions. They are great to work with.
We loved everything about covered bridge inn! The venue is gorgeous. We have absolutely nothing negative to say. Ingrid (and every staff member) was so welcoming during our tour that we didn’t even tour another venue. Our day was perfect. Highly, highly, highly recommend!Hopkins Heartland's reply:

The venue was amazing. Staff was amazing. We had a personal assistant the entire day and they made sure all of our needs and wants were taken care off. They helped us plan throughout and took care of everything. They even recommended caters and staff to help us so things went smooth. I would recommend to anyone looking to have a small ceremony.Hopkins Heartland's reply:

Absolutely Outstanding!
Robert and I could not have imagined a more beautiful venue, or more hardworking staff. Ingrid and Corrine were very organized and had tons of recommendations from the very start. The amount of help we received on the wedding day was outstanding, we cannot thank everyone enough. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the Honey Bee Venue was, inside and out! If we could do it over again, we would do everything just the same!

We loved the Hopkins Honey Bee so much -- it's the perfect size for a small family wedding reception (or even a moderate one) and the great farm-chic vibe makes it easy to create a beautiful atmosphere in the space, especially with the sun streaming through the oversized glass garage doors. -

This venue is so beautiful and makes for the perfect space for your wedding or any event. Having the whole property for the weekend makes everything run so smoothly and the Inn on the property is amazing. Being able to stay on the property ensures a peace of mind for the bride. Ingrid and Corrine work so well with all the vendors that you can be sure that you won't have to worry about anything.
