Our wedding at Hopkins Heartland the “Honey Bee” venue was a dream come true! From the moment we completed our first tour we knew this was the place we wanted to get married at. From start to finish there was not a moment a staff member was not there to help, from the simplest questions that came up throughout our planning process as well as all throughout the wedding day! This venue offers so much, from the beautiful farmland views to the little peaceful areas to kind of tuck away for a few. I would recommend this venue to anyone couple who is interested in small town rustic vibes. We were able to create memories that will last FOREVER!! -

We had our wedding here in July and it was PERFECT!!!! The venue is the perfect mix of beauty and charm, and the staff is so professional and nice. They helped me organize our day in advance, down to every detail, and were amazing during the execution on the day of. Everyone RAVED about our venue!!! We highly recommend The Honey Bee Barn, and the staff of Hopkins Heartland for anyone looking for the perfect venue for their smaller wedding… if you’re having a larger wedding they have another venue down the street that is also beautiful and has the same staff. -

My daughter’s wedding at Hopkins Heartland was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we walked in on Thursday to when we left on Sunday everything was perfect! Katie, the innkeeper, was a dream and couldn’t be more helpful. Corrine was amazing and helped us every step of the wedding planning with vendor recommendations as well as day of coordinating. The venue staff the day of the wedding was excellent and so attentive to anything we needed. The barn and milking room were beautiful as well as the patio for cocktail hour. We had the rehearsal dinner in the milking room the night before and it was absolutely gorgeous! We got so many compliments from our guests about Hopkins and how beautiful it was! It truly was an amazing weekend and everything my daughter and son in law dreamed about. -

The three night stay in the beautiful farm houses served as a chance to connect and make memories with our bridal party before our big day. From the charming patio with a fire pit and lights, to the stunning covered bridge and huge reception barn, Hopkins Heartlands property is breathtaking, and something our guests talk about to this day. If you’re looking for a beautiful farm venue with an incredible and responsive team, Hopkins Heartland is the place for you! The Covered Bridge - May 2025 Wedding
The Covered Bridge at Hopkins Heartland was the perfect wedding venue. Both our families fell in love with it the moment they saw it. Corrine, Ingrid, Katie and the entire staff were the best. They care so much about giving you the perfect wedding weekend and are so organized and accommodating.
Our families and friends enjoyed themselves so much and could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was.

The BEST wedding venue 🥰
Hopkins Heartland (Covered Bridge) was the PERFECT choice for our November wedding. Every staff member was amazing to work with (from coordinating and planning to day of service), and the venue was stunning. We rented for the whole wedding weekend which was extremely nice. We were able to host our rehearsal dinner on site the night before, had a space for our bridal party to spend the night afterwards with us the night before the wedding, and could wake up/roll out of bed to get ready all on site. It even made clean up on Sunday easier to know that we had no time constraints on when we had to exit the venue.
We would highly recommend selecting Hopkins Heartland for your wedding venue if you are looking for a wedding venue with staff that cares and a venue that is breathtaking regardless of what you add to it. 😊 -

It was special to celebrate a momentous milestone for our families at the Hopkins family’s first state legacy!
The Hopkins Heartland team easily rivals our affinity for the venue—Ingrid, Corrine, Katie and Bridget were warm, welcoming, communicative, and uber easy going. They’ve either perfected the science of hosting or not letting you see them sweat.
We also recommend taking in a gorgeous sunset or sunrise while you're there. Top to bottom, we were thrilled with the venue, accommodations, staff, and support we received to help make our wedding such a beautiful and special day. -

Hopkins Heartland Honeybee was perfect for our June wedding. The location is intimate and warm.Gorgeous surroundings and sunset views. Beautiful barn for reception. AMAZING staff + very professional- special shout to all of the girls that helped make my big day such a succes! Staff went above and beyond what was expected of them- helping with set-up/clean-up and everything between. Our guest absolutely loved the ice cream cart(provided by Hopkins Creamery) a super fun and unique addition to our wedding day. -

Believe it or not, Hopkins was the first and only wedding venue my husband and I visited. After researching venues in Connecticut (where I’m from) and New Jersey (where groom is from), nothing seemed to be an appropriate ‘package’. My husband and I have been vacationing in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area for over five years and he was the one that actually convinced me to explore options.
We were already looking for a relaxed and rustic feel, and after touring Hopkins, we were sold! We chose the Covered Bridge, three-night package and it exceeded our expectations. From the comfort of the Farmhouse, to exclusive access of the property Thursday-Sunday, it made coordination and getting ready that much easier. We were able to host an intimate rehearsal dinner on Friday, enjoyed home made country breakfast with our closest family and friends Saturday and Sunday, and were able to make our wedding weekend truly ours. The space allowed for both indoor and outdoor options which allowed for flexibility with weather and COVID in mind (our date was 9/10/2022). The entire staff were incredibly kind and professional, there were no hiccups. Additionally, their preferred vendor list made choosing food, flowers, décor, photography, hair and makeup a breeze. We were also referred to a stellar local wedding planner which was vital to planning from outside the state.

Covered Bridge Inn
Hopkins Heartland was all I’ve ever dreamed of. We chose Covered Bridge Inn after following them on social media for a few years. It is the only venue I wanted to visit, and it felt like home when we arrived for our tour. Corrine was there for every question throughout the planning process and Ingrid just makes you feel at home— even just on tours. Fast forward to wedding weekend and Katie was the best “Inn Keeper”. Her smile was always warm and welcoming and the breakfast… to die for! While most brides are spending the morning of their wedding stressed, I spent mine relaxed knowing that CBI worked so well with all of my vendors. There is not a single thing my husband and I would change about our wedding weekend and we have the wonderful Hopkins Heartland Crew (and our vendors) to thank for that. -

Justin and I got married at Hopkins Heartland September of 2022 and we could not have asked for a better day, team or venue! Everybody there was so extremely helpful and we had no stress that day. The venue was amazing. Staff was amazing. We had a personal assistant the entire day and they made sure all of our needs and wants were taken care off. They helped us plan throughout and took care of everything. They even recommended caters and staff to help us so things went smooth. I would recommend to anyone looking to have a small ceremony. -

Absolutely Outstanding!
Robert and I could not have imagined a more beautiful venue, or more hardworking staff. Ingrid and Corrine were very organized and had tons of recommendations from the very start. The amount of help we received on the wedding day was outstanding, we cannot thank everyone enough. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the Honey Bee Venue was, inside and out! Hopkins Heartland will forever hold a special place in our heart. It is hard for us to find the words to accurately describe what our wedding weekend meant to us. From the beautiful venue, to Ingrid & Corrine and the amazing staff, to all the incredible vendors that made our wedding day ‘perfectly’ us, it was simply the best. It is actually hard for me to believe you can visit this place and not end up getting married there. With the help of Hopkins Heartland and our amazing caterer, Greater Good Events, we were able to make the weekend our own. That is one of the beautiful things about the farm, it is a blank canvas if you want it to be. Ready for you to envision the day exactly how you want it.
First and foremost, you will not get a better venue owner than Ingrid. We booked our wedding date 2 years in advance and during that time, Ingrid kept improving and adding additional benefits without increasing the cost. Also, she is just an incredible human being that truly cares about her couples, the farm and the surrounding Lewes, DE community. Second, THE WEDDING WEEKEND. Enough said.. you get the farm from Thursday to Sunday AND can invite others to stay as well (as there are 4 total rooms w/ bathrooms). This allowed us to arrive on Thursday and get settled in so we could spend more time with our family and friends. We also chose to have our rehearsal dinner there (another added plus)! Cue BBQ food truck (shout out to J&B Grilling!) and an amazing relaxed setting. We pulled some of the farmhouse tables out into the courtyard, threw some beer in coolers and we were ready to go. On the day of, you are already onsite so no rushing around and no stress. We had hair and makeup come to the farmhouse with my bridesmaids and everyone was able to get ready and relax in the farmhouse before the ceremony. Ceremony by the bridge, cocktail hour in the courtyard, reception in the barn to follow. The next morning my husband and I woke up, grabbed some coffee and sat on the front porch in the rocking chairs watching the sunrise and laughing about the night before. We felt like we were at home at Hopkins Heartland.
If you are looking for a wedding weekend with a barn by the beach, look no further. Our family and friends are still talking about our wedding 4+ months later. It is a weekend by husband and I will be forever grateful for and we have incredible pictures and memories that will last a lifetime. We are just sad we aren’t able to do it all over again next year! -

We fell in love with the venue on our first visit and booked it straight away, and it was the easiest decision of the wedding process.
We were suppose to get married in 2020 but due to the pandemic, we had to push it back. Ingrid (at Hopkins Heartland), her staff and all the vendors worked with us over 2 years, through all the changes and made it a special day.
Even though it rained, the barn was a great plan B and everything worked out perfectly. The barn, the bridge, the courtyard and the inn are all beautiful and we are so happy we decided to get married there.
Ingrid was a major helping during the process and on the day, along with all of her staff. They made it any easy and joyful experience, and we would highly recommend your wedding at Hopkins Heartland. -

We got married at the Covered Bridge Inn and had an amazing experience! They were helpful with providing recommended vendors, were responsive to questions, and overall I felt very taken care of throughout the wedding planning process. Our wedding weekend could not have been more beautiful. The staff truly cares about you having the perfect wedding- when I lost something important to me, Ingrid even went diving through the dumpster to find it and return it to me. The inn is perfect for a bridal party and Theresa made a fantastic breakfast! Cannot recommend Hopkins Heartland enough 🙂 -

Hopkins Heartland is the best place you can imagine to celebrate any momentous occasion, especially having two different barns to cater to your specific needs. My husband and I had the privilege of celebrating our special day at their Honeybee Barn, and it was the best day of our lives, mainly due to the Heartland Team. The barn itself is breathtaking, and they thought of every little detail - from the light fixtures to the Meant to Bee sign on the wall (my favorite part!)
The day ran smoothly, everything was pristine and gorgeous, and communication was always thorough and prompt. Cannot recommend this venue enough - thank you Corrine, Ingrid, and Elian for spending the evening with us. It was a day to remember for years to come. -

There are simply not enough words to describe the experience we had working with Corrine and Ingrid for the planning of the greatest day of our lives thus far.
From the moment we arrived for our tour we felt welcome, Ingrid showed us around the property and spoke of the family history of the farm and her love for the property. Ingrid offered us a wedding date that was not initially available and we immediately booked the venue. We were provided a list of recommended vendors and an estimated cost break down.
To our surprise, a short three months later COVID happened. Corrine was by our side every step of the way to make accommodations and provide reassurance that we were all working together to make our wedding day the day we always dreamed of.
Then it happened, 10 days before our first planned wedding day we had to postpone. Corrine was on the phone, emailing, and texting us to ensure we were emotionally okay and offering to communicate with all of our vendors.
The next seven months were a whirlwind, but the final few weeks leading up to the wedding Corrine answered every email in less then 24 hours, arranged our meetings around our availability (shift work and being from 2+ hours away made that difficult) and was available for anything we needed.
When we arrived to the property on Thursday we were speechless. The time had finally come, we were settling in for the big day that we waited so long for. The farmhouse was clean, and every sign was personalized for us. The pasture in front of the bridge was perfectly mowed and luscious green. The barn was cool and the wind was blowing with a calming breeze when the doors were open.
Having the entire property from Thursday to Sunday allowed for us to be present in every moment and not worry about running around to meet timelines. We were able to spend extra time with our immediate family and bridal party. Our rehearsal was late Friday afternoon in the milking barn, in mid-July the milking barn provided shade and a cool breeze to keep everyone comfortable.
And then wedding day arrived. Thersea arrived in the early morning hours and had coffee ready for all of the girls when we woke up, she even made gluten free breakfast for a bridesmaid that had a dietary restriction. She was kind a kind smiling face in the morning. The boutique area was PERFECT for getting ready and the front porch was the space I needed to sit and have wedding morning thoughts.
Corrine created a perfect timeline for all of the vendors to follow and handled all of the wedding day stress which allowed for me to be in the moment with my girls before seeing RJ! Corrine laughed with me all day and Elon was the sidekick she needed.
We can not thank Ingrid and the entire Hopkins Heartland staff for their work and dedication. The venue is perfect and our wedding weekend would not have been the perfect reflection of us without them. -

We fell in love with Hopkins Heartland as soon as we arrived for our tour. The barn at Covered Bridge has much character and history there you just walk in and say WOW. Having the Inn for the weekend with our bridal party and pups was another main reason we chose Covered Bridge, it really gives you time to enjoy every aspect of your wedding. Ingrid and her team go above and beyond, from answering questions throughout the planning process to making sure your wedding day is smooth and stress free. We honestly can't say enough how amazing they are! -

From our first tour, we knew without a doubt that Covered Bridge Inn was where we wanted to have our wedding. It was perfect for our garden/barn style vision and as local farmers, we deeply appreciated the venues history. We even set up our reception in a herringbone style to mimic a milking parlor! We geared up for a perfect, outdoor wedding weekend at the best venue in Delaware. And then came the nor'easter on the weekend of our wedding.... however the team worked diligently to help us move our ceremony indoors for an intimate milk parlor wedding. While it was far from our original vision, it would not have been a magical, albeit rainy, day without the Covered Bridge team. This venue truly has it all! -

My wedding weekend at Covered Bridge Inn was a coastal farm dream! You will not find another venue quite like this. From the historical charm, the well maintenance landscaping, the Ingrid/Corrine duo, the spotless inn to stay at on property, Theresa the breakfast buffet goddess, and the magic of a wedding all mixed together... you simply cannot beat it! The Ingrid/Corrine duo will provide you with knowledge of all things wedding throughout the entire process. They are professional, classy, and timely. What more could you ask for? The layout of the venue provides opportunity for couples to make the place their own. Weddings here can truly be unique to the couple rather than the same look each and every weekend. There are so many spots on the property for photos, ceremony locations (rain or shine), rehearsal dinners, photo booths, dance floor... you name it! Being able to have the property from Thursday to Sunday really allows you to soak it all in and enjoy the best day of your life without stress. Being able to have rehearsal dinner on site, being able to set up décor early rather than the day of, and a guaranteed location to stay on property with great lighting for hair/makeup is something you will NOT find anywhere else around here. Planning a wedding during COVID and living 2 hours away from a venue sounds tough, but The Covered Bridge Inn made it a great experience. They made many upgrades that saved us money. The venue is absolutely amazing. All our guests loved it and loved the fact you can explore and venture away from the inside where the DJ is and have some quiet time and talk. The food was the best we ever had at a wedding. Having the house for a few days made it easy to set up and break down without stressing. We had fun just hanging out and exploring what the lovely town has to offer. -

From the minute we set foot on the farm, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. Hopkins Heartland is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue and the wedding weekend experience was perfect. It was so convenient and stress free to have access to the entire venue beginning on Thursday. This gave us plenty of time to set up and make sure the details for our big day were perfect. You spend so long planning your wedding and having the ability to extend those memories for a whole weekend was invaluable. The Inn is charming and cozy, with huge windows that give perfect natural light that make for beautiful pictures. Corrine helped make our planning process run so smoothly – any time we had questions (big or small) or just wanted opinions on things, she was always readily available and super responsive. On the day of, she helped make sure everything ran smoothly and even helped us clean up the barn. We were so happy with our day and highly recommend the wedding weekend experience at Hopkins Heartland! -

Love love love!
I have so many amazing things to say I don’t even know where to start! Covered Bridge Inn is hands down the BEST venue you could ever hope for. First of all, owner Ingrid and coordinator Corrine have it down to a science. They have a plan A, B, C and D for everything. They are so flexible and accommodating to ensure that your wedding is perfect. Due to covid, we had to essentially plan the wedding 3 different times and they were right by our side with every option to help. We finally had a small wedding in December and it was PERFECT. They took what little decorations I had and ran with them, turning the barn and the ceremony space into gorgeous rustic spaces I couldn’t have even imagined were possible! One of the most incredible things about the venue is that you get it for the ENTIRE weekend! Thursday - Sunday. We checked into the gorgeous Inn Thursday and were able to settle in, relax, decorate, etc. at our own leisure! That is a huge stress eliminator! Additionally, they worked so well with all our vendors it’s like they are all one seamless team. I just cannot say enough amazing things about the Covered Bridge Inn. It was the best decision we’ve ever made. -

Authentic, beautiful.. the most perfect wedding weekend!
The Covered Bridge Inn was the one and only venue we visited. We knew from looking online that it had everything we wanted but when we got there to see it in person we realized how truly perfect it was for us. The Covered Bridge Inn is more than a wedding venue, it has so much history and it’s incredible to be apart of. We got married in August during the pandemic. There were so many questions about how the day would be but Corrine and Ingrid were extremely transparent and had every answer on how to stay safe but have my dream wedding at the same time. They truly accomplished that. We also got married on an extremely rainy day, which meant no bridge backdrop like we had planned. But while I got to hangout in the amazing Inn with all of my best friends and get ready for my wedding day, Ingrid and Corrine had my ceremony moved inside to the most gorgeous inside wedding ceremony I could ever imagine. The Covered Bridge Inn was the most magical and perfect place for our wedding. Ingrid and Corrinne made the whole experience so much easier and they were so helpful throughout the whole process. Covid really threw a wrench in things and they kept me hopeful and positive as we moved forward, and were still able to plan our wedding. They helped us through the whole process of picking our vendors and were there to answer any questions we had. The Inn that my Bridesmaids and I were able to stay in all weekend was one of the best parts about the Covered Bridge Inn. We were able to relax and all be together and it made it that much more special. On our wedding day, Corrinne and Ingrid were there all day to make sure everything went smooth. They were there to help us out with anything we needed! It is the most beautiful place and they were absolutely wonderful to work with! If you’re thinking about booking your wedding venue here I can guarantee you will have the most amazing wedding. I can’t thank Ingrid and Corrinne enough for everything they did for us. We had so many guests tell us how wonderful, beautiful, and safe it was! It was a perfect weekend and we are both so happy that we had our wedding there!

THE wedding venue to book!
When my fiancé & I got engaged in December of 2018 we immediately began looking at wedding venues & quickly came discouraged. Each venue we looked at was asking thousands of dollars to usher you in & get you out in 10-12 hours flat. We did not want to spend our wedding day running around like a bunch of crazies; we wanted to spend our time really enjoying the process! I cried literal tears of joy when we found Ingrid + Covered Bridge Inn! A whole weekend (Thursday to Sunday) of uninterrupted time to enjoy the whole wedding experience!!! It was a dream! We checked into the Inn on Thursday, spent the day organizing our rentals & really getting things set into place - exactly how we envisioned it! Friday was spent the day with our wedding party hanging out on the property where we also hosted our rehearsal dinner. It was fantastic. Saturday, the day of our wedding, Ingrid was there every step of the way from making breakfast for myself & my bridesmaids, to helping put ceremony decorations back into place when the wind would kick up. We were able to enjoy not just our wedding day but a whole wedding WEEKEND thanks to Ingrid + Corrine. Of course we can’t forget to mention how Ingrid & Corrine were so gracious & accommodating when COVID turned our original wedding plans upside down. They answered questions quickly & problem solved as issues came up. We will be forever be grateful for the amazing memories we were able to make at Covered Bridge! -

The Covered Bridge Inn gave us everything we could've imagined and more ! Ingrid and Corinne were amazing to work with ! Everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed at the Inn and Ingrid made me and my bridesmaid's breakfast on the big day :) We had an absolutely perfect day and I cannot thank Ingrid enough. Everything we wanted!
After meeting her one time, I felt like I had known Ingrid my whole life. Her excitement and confidence in us having our wedding at the Covered Bridge Inn made us so assured that we were in good hands and choosing the right place. It was the first and only venue we toured. We knew we were having a big wedding (~215 guests) but didn’t want the typical ballroom or country club feel. The barn was perfect. For someone who loves to plan and be picky with details, it was my absolute dream space. The flexibility in being able to bring all of the decorations in a few days early and get them out on another day made our weekend stress free. The inn itself is a perfect place to get ready and sleep over at. Being greeted with fresh coffee and homemade breakfast in the morning was such a treat. Although we chose to have our rehearsal dinner elsewhere, I’m sure it would have been a really special experience to have it there as well. I can’t say enough about the Covered Bridge Inn and our experience there, other than I wish we had the opportunity to do it over and over again! I’m hoping we will get to return there again in the future :) -

I recently had my wedding at The Covered Bridge Inn, October 2019. There was a last minute opening and we booked and planned the wedding in less than 6 months! When the spot opened, I knew I couldn’t pass up such a great opportunity at this very sought out venue in Lewes, DE.
The Covered Bridge Inn is a magical place. As soon as you walk on the property you know that it is very special. The Inn is immaculately kept and cared for. The barn and bridge are so elegant as is and act as the perfect backdrop for your most special day. There are so many unique places to find and take the perfect wedding photos. Every sight is breath taking. Come tour and you will know exactly what I am talking about.
Ingrid, the innkeeper and venue operator really is the star of this operation. It is unreal how hardworking and helpful she is throughout your entire process. She covers every detail. She is there the entire wedding weekend, cooks you breakfast each morning, coordinates vendors and even helps get you down the aisle (something I will never forget). She is such a genuine person and master at what she does. She helped make the entire weekend run so smoothly and I felt at ease knowing my event was in her hands.
Seriously, you are missing out if you don’t tour this venue. My husband and I immediately knew this was where we wanted to say our “I do’s” and I know you will too. -

Could not have dreamt of a better wedding weekend! Ingrid thinks of EVERYTHING to ensure you have a perfect wedding weekend. We couldn’t wait to show off the venue to our friends and family. As a local of Southern Delaware, we were looking for an authentic farm experience mixed with class and comfort and the Covered Bridge Inn provided just that. Ingrid and Corrine were easy to work with from the start, prompt at answering questions and invaluable the day of as they helped everything run smoothly. Having the entire property including the Inn for the whole weekend made our stay comfortable and much more hassle free. We had the rehearsal dinner in the cow stalls located adjacent to the barn the evening before and were able to host the entire bridal party Friday night at the Inn which was a nice gift for those who meant so much to us. The Inn was perfect for getting ready the morning of and Ingrid even made all of our guests breakfast each morning. As far as the actual grounds and barn, they are beautiful. There are numerous electrical outlets throughout and so much space that you really can transform it in to whatever you desire. As an added bonus, the ice cream truck from the families functioning dairy farm can be included for dessert at a steal of a price! The beach is less than ten to fifteen minutes away and has numerous hotel options for all of the guests. I cannot express enough how truly magical our experience was at the Covered Bridge Inn and I highly recommend this venue to everyone! -

The Inn and barn are so unique because you rent out the entire premises for the entire weekend, which makes it unlike any wedding venue out there. My husband and I were recently married on June 1, 2019 at The Covered Bridge Inn. The absolute best day of my life spent with my favorite people at a venue that couldnt suite our laid back personalities better. Every aspect of the venue is beautiful in its own natural way. We were able to add our special touch with florals, candles, and wood accents which helped bring everything to life. It turned out to be so much better than I ever imagined.
I can't say enough good things about the staff at The Covered Bridge Inn, the Inn Keeper, Ingrid was a crucial part to the whole experience. She seemed to always be there whenever she was needed. On the big day I was busy getting ready, she was there to answer all the difficult questions and made sure everyone knew what they should be doing. Without her, we wouldn't have been able to relax and just enjoy the experience nearly as much as we did.
Thank you, Ingrid and staff. We are forever grateful and would recommend the wedding weekend to anyone who is questioning it!

Ingrid is the tits!
Ingrid and the Covered Bridge Inn as a venue is amazing. My husband and I used the list of vendors recommended and had the best catering/photographer/flowers. Ingrid was able to coordinate with all these vendors and let my husband and I relax the entire week of the wedding. If there was a problem we never even heard about it. The weekend we spent at the Covered Bridge Inn was nothing short of perfect and we owe it all the Ingrid and our other incredible vendors. -

The Covered Bridge Inn is amazing! We got married in July. The heat didn’t stop us. Everything was perfect thanks to THE MOST AMAZING wedding planner, Nikki Chambers with Elevee Events. If you want your wedding to go absolutely perfect with no stress, Nikki is your girl!! She’s bomb and goes above and beyond. Ingrid, the owner of CBI was so awesome and accommodating. She made us feel at home for our wedding weekend. We even had our dog (child) stay with us at the inn and be apart of our special day. The weekend at CBI for our wedding was a weekend to never forget. It was everything I dreamed of. Thank you Ingrid and Nikki. CBI holds a special place in our hearts.

This venue is classically beautiful in all its history and simplicity that you can feel in your bones as you take in the scenery. Ingrid is truely amazing and held our hands every step of the way ensuring our comfortablilty and confidence leading up to our wedding (during a hurricane warning) through the next day when we shared an amazing homemade frenchtoast breakfast. The amount of hats she chooses to wear, and how well she wears them well shows how much she cares about the people who stay at the Inn and the experience of all guests that are welcomed along with the event. This venue also boasts 4 bedrooms that we were able to stay in for the weekend with some of our close friends and fully enjoy the feel of home during what could have been a very stressful time. We will forever be humbled and greatful for our experience here for our wedding weekend.

Johanna Sent on 08/28/2018I cannot speak more highly of the Covered Bridge Inn and the wedding weekend. The Covered Bridge is the absolute perfect wedding venue! There is so much space that allows you to essentially design the look and feel of the ceremony and the reception. You have the flexibility to make it exactly as you want. Having the venue for the weekend allowed for plenty of time for set up and allowed for us to have a welcome reception for all of the guests that were in from out of town. The Bed and Breakfast is incredibly comfortable and inviting and having access to it allowed for hair and makeup to come onsite to make the day less hectic and stress free. Ingrid, the owner/innkeeper/event coordinator, made the entire experience from start to finish SO easy! This is only her second wedding season and you would think she has been doing this for decades with how seamless the whole process was. All of our guests were blown away by the venue and the weekend as a whole. I would easily recommend this venue to anyone as they would not be disappointed. It was the perfect wedding weekend and I have the Covered Bridge and Ingrid to thank for that! -

Our daughter Ashley’s wedding was beyond wonderful, from the rehearsal Friday night, to the stay in the inn, to the magical ceremony/reception on Saturday. Your entire property- the covered bridge, the inn, the renovated barn, and the surrounding farm- is beautiful beyond words. She has lots of great "props" already there, along with the natural beauty of the barn made decorating simple and easy! Having an outdoor area for yard games and cocktail hour is perfect for the guest. We even had the Hopkins dairy truck there for ice cream after the cake! I would HIGHLY recommend this venue if you are looking for a romantic setting. So many great places for pictures! You can make it country rustic to country chic! Justen Sent on 05/22/2018One word can sum up this venue and it is STUNNING. The Covered Bridge Inn (CBI) offers some of the most amazing photo opportunities of any wedding venue in the area. Ingrid, the Inn Keeper is wonderful. She kept everything during the wedding running smoothly, helped out in every way possible, and even when unplanned events like "farm flooding" because of unheard of amounts of rain she was there with a plan! We booked almost a year and a half out and I was in contact with her monthly with questions, concerns, and asking for advice. She responded quickly every time. She allows your to visit the venue with possible vendors and tour facility whenever works for everyone.
When we first met for our initial visit we debated the single day wedding or the wedding weekend. We decided to go with the wedding weekend and it would have been impossible to do a single day wedding. With the wedding weekend, you have full range of the entire venue and Inn from 3:00 p.m. on Friday until 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. We were able to hold our rehearsal dinner in the barn and that enabled us to set up for the ceremony as well. There is no way that one could do a single day wedding, have all your deliveries there in time, decorate the entire barn, get ready, have a ceremony, tear down everything, and have your delivery companies return and be completely out of the barn by 11:00 p.m. The "Wedding Weekend" package is an absolute no brainer! I would HIGHLY recommend the Covered Bridge Inn and "Wedding Weekend". Even with the rain, we could not have asked for a better wedding, and we are truly blessed! I hope everyone has the same experience at the CBI. The picture attached was taken by Ingrid the Inn Keeper from her cell phone. Kathy Sent on 05/17/2018As mother of the bride, I have to say how pleased I was with The Covered Bridge Inn. Ingrid did a fantastic job. She was there anytime you had a question or an idea. This is my second wedding in six months and I can say WOW, I loved the people we worked with, the property, and everything during our wedding preparations. What a difference it makes to have the weekend to set up and tear down. We did not have to worry about another event during our weekend. The rehearsal was done on the property and set up was done early. Elderly could stay at the Inn and retire when needed and the rest of the family could continue to party. As the Inn progresses and continually improves and adds to the venue, I can say without hesitation you will not go wrong with the decision to do your special event at the Covered Bridge Inn. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for your help every step of the way. I know my daughter was more than pleased. We all were. You are a special lady with a great venue that I can see will only improve with time. You made our special day the BEST.

Sarah Sent on 05/01/2018This venue truly made our wedding top notch. Ingrid, did everything to make sure our day was perfect. The ability to stay the weekend at the inn allowed us to fully prepare decorations and the setup. All I heard throughout the night was how beautiful the venue was. Our guests enjoyed playing cornhole during cocktail hour. There is a fire pit as well, we were alittle disappointed it was not going for our wedding because our guests kept asking for it. All together this venue was everything we could have asked for. Since it is a bed and breakfast as well, it allows for you to come back and stay for your anniversaries!
