Fabulous experience
Couture Bridal is a wedding boutique that is second to none! The “search” for the perfect dress was amazing. The staff is so professional and truly listen to the look you are trying to create for your special day. I can’t say enough positive experiences but if you go here they will find you the perfect dress for the occasion. -

Overall wonderful!
I am very happy with my appointment at Couture. I was able to find my dream wedding dress! The consultant was extreme helpful and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable and she picked the dress I ended up with. Overall great experience!! -

Just wonderful!

Great Selection of Dresses and Accessories
I had a bit of a unique experience in choosing my dress. I had been to a few other shops and tried on about 50 dresses and just couldn’t find “the one”. I actually went to Couture Bridal for an appointment for my cousin (we were getting married three months apart and were each other’s MOH!) I had no intention to look for myself. My cousin had her appointment and we found her the perfect dress. As she was checking out, I was browsing their wedding dress selection and stumbled upon a dress. I asked if I could just take 30 seconds and try this one dress on. The moment I put the dress on, I KNEW it was my dress. In one hour, my cousin and I each found our perfect dresses! I also got my veil and wedding jewelry here. The store owner Annmarie was super helpful, and I would definitely recommend Couture Bridal! -

Annmarie and her team were great!
We ordered multiple things from Couture Bridal and loved everything! My wedding invitations, chair covers and bows, sweetheart and cake table linens, seating chart, and my mother in laws dress all came from here! Everything was great quality and the chair covers and bows really made the room more beautiful than what it was. We are so thankful for all the help from Couture Bridal for making our wedding day everything we imagined! -

Love Couture! Tara was super helpful with getting the bridesmaids dresses for my sister's wedding and Annmarie was nice enough to rush order our dresses so we could get them in on time. Love how the dresses came out and my sister was very happy on how we all looked! Would highly recommend going there. -

My experience at Couture Bridal was nothing short of Amazing. First of all the owner Anne Marie was so kind and helpful throughout my whole shopping experience. She always took my calls no matter the hour of day. She was always there, even when I was a wreck waiting for my dress and all my other wedding activities. When I finally got the confirmation call and went in the next day, I was ecstatic at how well the dress looked. I already had a seamstress lined up and knew she could put the finishing touches on the dress to make it perfect for the day. I can't wait for the best day of my life and Anne Marie and everyone at Couture Bridal is going to make it very special for me with the effort they made to give me my dress. Again, thank you! -

AnnMarie is amazing! She asked if I could be her 'guinea pig' and I agreed and I am so glad I did!!! She knew what would look good on my body type and knew what I wanted and blended that together! I received a coupon for wedding dress preservation. The owner was very helpful - I brought in my gown/veil, reviewed it with her, she sent it out to the company who does the preservation, and she contacted me once it came in. It is sealed in a box with a "window" so you can see the bodice of the gown and a key to open the box if needed. Very satisfied with the service. -

My daughter and I stopped by just before closing just to see what they had for prom dresses. We showed them a picture of something she liked and though they didn't have that particular dress, they showed us many dresses that were similar styles. We walked out of there with a beautiful dress in hand! They were so friendly, accommodating, and made us feel at ease and welcome. Wonderful boutique! -

Annemarie was really a pleasure to work with. We had quite a few mistakes (mostly on our side) and she was very patient. Her store was laid back and comfortable and I found my dress there on the first trip. When our date was changed to earlier, she was extraordinarily helpful in getting the shipping expedited so my dress would be there in plenty of time. When I left with the wrong veil, I was able to mail it back to them and have them ship me mine. I really feel like they bent over backwards for me and were really nice about the speed-bumps I had. I know that during some of this time, Annemarie wasn't even at work and she still worked very hard to make sure I had everything I needed. Thank you Annemarie and Couture Bridal! -

Went here to try on wedding dresses, Annemarie was very helpful and attentive without being pushy at all. Dress selection is somewhat small but it is a small shop so it's understandable. I did not purchase a dress here but would recommend it as a good place to check out in your dress search. They also provide additional wedding services if needed like invitations, table linens, etc. -

I can't speak highly enough about Annmarie and the rest of the ladies from Couture! I initially visited the shop just to browse and ended up booking my lighting and chair covers on the spot. I live in Boston and the vendors in my area charge double what Couture does for the same services. I later ordered my invitations from Couture and booked Annmarie for coordination as well. She has been there every step of the way keeping me organized and most importantly sane! Every time I entered the store to go over plans my eyes were drawn to something new. I wound up purchasing all my wedding day essentials there including my bridesmaid dresses. I'd highly recommend Couture to any bride!

Couture Bridal made my wedding vision complete. The gorgeous black and white linens added so much impact to my reception venue. People commented on how classy it looked. Annmarie was awesome to deal with - patient til the end, even when I forgot to mail the last check on time! She helped up figure out everything from numbers of chair covers while we were waiting on so many RSVP responses to what kind of linens would look best.

This salon was so helpful! I was nervous about bringing my mother and future mother-in-law here to meet for the first time and try on dresses for the first time, but everything went so smoothly that I had forgotten all about my anxiety. We talked about my price range and didn't even look at dresses that didn't fall into it. We tried dresses that I thought I would hate first so that if I did hate it, I could immediately cross it off the list. So helpful, not too pushy. Definitely recommend. -

Bridal couture was able to find me a unique "Mother of the Groom" dress that was not overpriced like so many dresses in other stores. Ann Marie had dresses in all price ranges, but was able to find dresses I liked in the price I wanted to spend. It was nice to have the individualized attention I had to find the right dress.

Annmarie and her staff were great! Very accommodating! (I got my gown during their $299 gown sale! So they were very busy!) My mother and mother-in-law were a little late for my hour appointment but they brought them up with no issue at all! I must have tried on 15 dresses and it was the last one I tried on that I loved! It fit like a glove! I ended up with the perfect dress for me and my day at an amazing price!
I got the floor model of this dress so it will need some alterations, but the dress was in perfect condition! I also purchased my veil from Couture and I can't wait to get it in! (Flexibility and Responsiveness will be updated once I get my veil, but I doubt I will have any issues!)
A note for brides/ bridesmaids: Pictures cannot be taken at the salon for designer copyright issues, please be understanding of this while there. Some of my guest didn't understand this and it was hard to explain to them why- so tell them ahead of time! -

Couture Bridal is located in downtown East Greenwich so the quality of wedding gowns was to be expected... The place is small which may actually be better than the huge bridal warehouses ...since in my opinion , being an indecisive person, I loved the fact that the selection was limited but with all high quality designer gowns..and they are all made to order so you aren't getting some dress off the rack,.. I would also state that you should definitely order at minimum 9 months in advance since it takes a while to be receive the gown!! Also ordered chair covers and table linens which turned our event location into something you see in a magazine,couture bridal is a one stop wedding vendor.. I do know they also do invitations and planning as well -

My husband and I got married on May 15, 2015 in Warwick, RI. It was very tricky finding dresses for my wedding party and family since many of us were quite picky. The mothers were to be in long champagne chiffon dresses and the bridesmaids in long guava chiffon dresses. Couture was one of the few places where we found appropriate dresses for our mothers. Many of the dresses we found elsewhere either looked too old or too young for them. Both of them are middle aged so we needed something age appropriate that went with our theme. We worked closely with my husband's cousin Jasemine who from the start, helped pull all kinds of dresses that went with my description. My mother's dress was a hit! It matched the style dresses with the bridesmaids and was a high quality dress that was one to never forget. Thank you Couture for working closely with us! -

I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from this salon and I have to say that the quality of the dresses were great! I made an appointment and went with 3 of my bridesmaids to try on the dresses and we had a great selection to choose from. The staff was very helpful while we were picking out the dresses and I ended up finding one that I loved within the first 5 dresses that my bridesmaids tried on! The only downside to my experience with this boutique was that when my bridesmaids went to pick up the dresses they said that the staff was not very nice to them and brushed off their questions and issues with pick-up. When I spoke to the staff afterwords, I felt as though I was an afterthought as well. Also- just a note that they charge a storage fee to hold the dresses if your girls can't pick them up within 2 weeks of them coming in (only an issue if you have bridesmaids out of town!). Overall, a good experience. -

The shop is adorable but the experience was not all that special, seemed like your average dress shop. Nothing special to make you feel like a bride, just rules of what not to do. Also, after dropping $1000 plus on a dress you would think your 3 year old daughter would be able to use the restroom without a problem, not so here! I am a big fan of supporting local businesses and it was the only place I could find the dress. But, if you are looking to feel special and not rushed I wouldn't choose here. Decent prices though. -

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with AnnMarie and Couture. I ordered my dress over a year in advance of my wedding, and was told it would be about 6-8 months until arrival. At first, I believed everyone at couture was frienddly and helpful. Over the months, I stopped receiving updates about my dress. I had to reach out numerous times before I finally heard back that my dress, they didn't bother calling me with any updates. Turns out, my dress had to ship from China and Annmarie couldn't give me any updates and said "it was out of her hands." Finally, I guess she realized it was within her responsibilities (and capabilities) to reach out and provide me with updated information about arrival date. After going back and forth, and some heated conversations, my dress finally arrived one month before my wedding. TO say I was on edge is an understatement, and unfortunately, Annmarie did nothing but stress me out the whole process. I was even back in Rhode Island for my wedding shower, and asked to come in and at least try on a sample dress so I could try to match my veil and shoes with the dress. Rather than provide customer service and be open to this, they did nothing but say "sorry we're at bridal show." Could you not send a worker to open the store for me? Are you so concentrated on finding NEW customers, rather than providing customer service to CURRENT customers? She did nothing to make me feel better about any of it, and basically said "too bad, you're out of luck." Sad that vendors can be so unprofessional. When my dress finally arrived, I was in another state because it was so late, and rather than offering to send it to me complimentary (since she screwed up the shipping and it was already months late), I had to pay for the overnight shipping to myself in another state. I think there were so many missed opportunities throughout the process, and I'm really disappointed with how management handled this situation. I would not recommend Couture. -

I purchased a dress from this store before reading the reviews. I wish that was not the case. My appointment was wonderful and I bought my dress at a trunk show the day I tried it on, approximately 7 months before my wedding. I was assured that i did not need to rush order the dress despite my willingness to do so. Over the next several months I was repeatedly lied to, stalled, and pushed off multiple times regarding the delivery of my dress which started as mid March, then mid April, then May 6 and still no dress. On May 7 the owner told me to my face that she did not know where the dress was, had no way of knowing where it was, that no one should have ever given me a date that it would arrive because it cannot be guaranteed, and that there was a shipment on its way to the store from that bridal company but that she had no way of knowing if my dress was in the shipment. What kind of business doesn't know what is in a shipment on its way to their store? The owner was rude to me on repeated occasions. In the end, the dress arrived on May 12th and I picked it up on May 17th because I had been out of town for three days, but at that point I had already purchased and received another dress from a second hand website to ensure time for the significant alterations it required as I had indicated to the original sales associate. I can see from the reviews that others have had a similar experience to mine while many people have had a positive experience with the salon. Before purchasing from this salon, please consider the frustration of the potential of not having a wedding dress 7 weeks before your wedding. If you do choose to use this salon I hope you have the experience that the positive reviewers did.

I was not explained the cancellation fee.
If you’re looking for a customer friendly experience, I do not recommend Couture Bridal. I was so excited to be able to make an appointment with them last minute for a Saturday morning (less than 24 hours before the appointment itself). I and another bridesmaid needed to try on dresses for a wedding in June. The other bridesmaid and her young family became ill the night before. So I called the next morning (the day of the appointment) to cancel. It was at that point, and that point only, I was made aware of the cancellation policy. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. I was told the owner would be able to make a decision on whether or not I would be refunded, as I explained that I had not been made aware of the cancellation fee when I first made the appointment. When I got in contact with the owner, I explained the situation and was told that the woman I had made the appointment with was claiming she had explained the cancellation fee. I told her that if I had been aware of the fee I would have either not made the appointment in the first place or would be gladly giving them my $50. The owner decided to think it over, she said she would get back to me by Tuesday. On Wednesday, I hadn’t heard from her so I called to see if she was available to talk. She wasn’t working that day, so I left a message with a woman who sounded less than thrilled to be hearing from me again. On Saturday, I finally heard back from the owner. She told me I would not be given back my money because the woman I made the appointment with and another woman working that day (who I never spoke to, she just happened to overhear the conversation) both said I had been explained the cancellation fee- they said the same thing, and apparently did not have time to talk to each other about the incident before the owner questioned them individually (in the weeks’ time this was taking place). I did not appreciate being left to wonder for a week when the owner didn’t have the slightest inclination of giving me back my money. She said during both our conversations that she could keep it as a credit on file for when I came back, despite my explaining after this experience I will not be returning. It is not my fault she does not have a policy set in place for emergencies or illnesses. At the end of the conversation I was told her decision was final and nothing else could be done for me. The only advice she had for me was to try and get my money back through my bank. Apparently, the customer’s word does not count for much at Couture Bridal. -

I love the bridesmaids dresses that we found here for my best friend's wedding. The woman who assisted us the day we were shopping was friendly and helpful. However, every point of contact and interaction after that point was highly unsatisfactory. We were told initially that the bridesmaids dresses would take 12-14 weeks to arrive, giving us over a month before the wedding to have alterations if necessary. I called the shop a week later to confirm this time, and I was given a completely different time frame, meaning we would have to do rush shipment on the dresses. The bride was then asked to pay $40 per dress (x 6 dresses) for the necessary rush order. Very unprofessional. Also, the women at the shop insisted that all of us order a size too large, and every single one of the bridesmaids ended up having to pay between $70-$140 on alterations. I went against their recommendation and ordered a size smaller (which was still larger than my normal size), and I still had to have substantial alterations, which were minimal in comparison to the other girls (whose dresses looked like tents before alterations). When the dresses arrived, the owner insisted we each come to pick up our own dresses and try them on (we live 45 min- 1 hour away), and she was going to charge a storage fee of $5/ day if we didn't pick it up within a certain time frame. When my friend and I went to pick up our dresses, the two girls working that day were unhelpful and unprofessional; they barely said a word to us, and they just stared at us uncomfortably as we tried on the dresses. What was supposed to be a beautiful and fun part of my friend's wedding ended up a stressful and highly aggravating series of events. I will never do business with this shop again, nor will I recommend them. -

Terrible customer service. Completely unprofessional. Measured two sizes too big in hopes that I would use their seamstress and ended up paying another $150 to have the dress fitted correctly. Insisted I had to try on my dress when I picked it up, but I am not sure why, because when I walked in they asked if I felt like trying it on and then no one helped me pin it and it practically fell off of me. Young women sitting around quietly starring and judging. I will not recommend this shop. -

This was a terrible experience, and we ended up getting another dress elsewhere. If the experience hadn't been so great at the other shop, my bride's dress shopping experience would have been awful. Our experience with couture bridal was a nightmare. You would be making a big mistake doing business with them. -

I am an out of state bridesmaid and sadly wasn't able to go dress shopping with the rest of the bridal party. My bride found a store near me that sold the dress so I could try it on too and get sized. When I called to make an appointment, I explained that I was out of state and looking for that particular dress, but I was not told over the phone that there would be a charge to be fit since I would not be purchasing the dress from them. When I arrived for my appointment, the owner was rather rude when I told her I just needed to be fit/ to try on the dress. Now, I understand that this is a business, but the attitude I received from not actually purchasing a dress was astonishing. I'm still a customer, and I still deserve to be treated well and have personable service. I was also told that I couldn't take a picture of myself in the dress. Again, I understand stores have policies (although I didn't see it written anywhere) but I know I'm not the first out of state bridesmaid to walk in the doors. They were very unaccommodating and can't use the excuse of being busy. I was the only one in the store. They had beautiful dresses and I wish I could say I would recommend it to future bridal parties. But with the service I received, I say take your business elsewhere. -

I had a terrible experience with couture bridal in east Greenwich. My daughter is getting married in may. I expected when you go to a bridal shop for this special occasion, that one would be pampered. This was not the case. The owner measured me and when I went to pick up my dress, I had to ask to try it on. There was no mirror and I couldn't put the dress on myself. A bride was being fitted and I had to ask for someone to come in. The girl did nothing for me except admire my shoes. This was my 1st experience with bridal shops and couture did not live up to my simple expectations. I took the dress to my seamstress and she told me that the dress was fitted 2 sizes too big. I had not lost any weight either. Also, when I picked the dress up I bought a bracelet and $100 dollar pair of earrings. When I took them out of the bag, a rhinestone fell out that day. The owner said that there was no returns. The owner said that she would see if she could send them back and that I had a week. I live 45 minutes away and we had a hurricane so I couldn't get there. I had my substitute teachers mom whom I didn't know graciously bring them back and she said the people were extremely rude. I am stuck with a dress that is too big and if altered would have lines. The owner was rude and not accommodating I would NEVER purchase anything else from them. -

I have never written a bad review before but I had the worse expierience at this store. I purchased a wedding dress and 2 hours later realized that I had purchased the "wrong " dress. I realize it was my own fault but the reponse I got from the owner when I called to return the dress....2 hours after I bought it was..."I know this is personal for you but for me its just business". for anyone else that walks in this store... keep this comment in mind.... its all business for this woman. -
