I originally booked with Deanna as my coordinator and as everyone else has said, she was great. About 3 months before my wedding though she left and I was nervous to meet the newly hired coordinator. The new coordinator, Olivia, was just as great. She was happy to meet with me and go over details as much as I wanted. On our day, September 21, 2019 everything was set up perfectly. Our guests really seemed to enjoy the food too. Every staff member we spoke with in the kitchen department and front desk was extremely kind and helpful. I truly believe we received better service here than we even would have at another venue that costs twice as much. If you're looking for a reception venue in Canton you won't regret looking at Courtyard Marriott!

We looked at numerous places to have our wedding reception, but from the get go. Deanna blew us away. She was so kind and thoughtful answering numerous questions, and we had a lot. She helped us set up the perfect reception for us. She took away all the stress when it came to linens, napkins, table settings, etc. We told her what we had/wanted and she and her team made it happen. Guests were raving about the food, the beautiful ballroom and how it was set up, and the convenience of having the reception in a clean hotel. The event staff was so helpful, starting with the food tasting. They accommodated every food allergy request no questions asked. They were kind to our guests and made everyone feel at home. If you are looking for a place to have your reception, I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott. The amazing staff, coupled with the unbeatable price (it truly was the best deal we were able to find), and the beauty of the venue makes it a sure win for your wedding reception.

No regrets! Deanna is a rockstar and the rest of the staff is top notch. They accommodated our lively bunch with patience and kindness and made everything picture perfect. They worked well with our other vendors and kept everything flowing smoothly. In love with everything about this weekend.

My experience with having my wedding reception here was great. My guests could go right up to their rooms after partying or hang out at the bar area when the reception was over. The food was surprisingly great, I got many compliments on it afterwords. Deana responds quickly and works hard to make sure everything is how you want it to be. I brought a lot of my own decorations and she made sure everything was set out and it all looked great. The room is very big and pretty especially with some uplighting. My only word of warning would be to make sure you completely understand the minimum requirements before committing. They say everything is all inclusive in the per person price but it kind of isn't. All in all I would definitely recommend having a wedding reception here.

We had our New Year's Eve wedding reception at the Courtyard Marriott in Canton and couldn't have been happier! They let us have the Ohio State football game on in the bar area for our guests to check out while grabbing drinks. And then they had a projection tv in the ballroom so all of us could watch the ball drop together. Deanna was wonderful to work with and many guests told us how wonderful the event staff was! It was really nice to have the venue, food, and beverage all included in one affordable price. The rooms were also priced reasonable for the holiday event.

We used this hotel for guests to stay at during our wedding weekend. Guest had a great stay at the hotel. It was clean and the staff was great to work with. I've I'm ever in need of a hotel again in Canton, I will stay here.

We had our reception at the Courtyard in October. We had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly, responsive, and on top of every little detail. They worked with us to make sure everything was perfect. Also we heard rave reviews on the meal. Would strongly recommend!! Although our coordinator changed part way though the process we were very well taken care of - didn't miss a beat.

Hey friends! Ian and I are looking to have a 4th of July get together again this year! We will of course grill out, drink bud heavy, and play some volleyball later in the evening. We had our wedding reception here, and while we were extremely worried the renovations would be a detriment to our wedding weekend as well as an inconvenience to our guests who had booked rooms, the staff and management went out of their way to make sure that did not happen. At a certain point, we almost had to find another venue last-minute because there was a concern the ballroom renovations wouldn’t be completed on time, but as I said, the management really bent over backward to ensure our wedding was unaffected. And as it turned out, the hotel served as “Wedding Command Central” for the entire weekend… it was the gathering spot for drinks and socializing after our rehearsal dinner, it was our getting-ready spot the morning before the ceremony, and the lobby bar made the perfect place for the reception after-party. We loved that we didn’t have to worry about anyone driving since most of our guests had accommodations right there at the hotel. We could not have found a better location for our wedding!!! From the first time we met Nicole Duncan, we knew this was the place. We had visited 5 other places and none of their staff was as nice or accommodating as at the Marriott. Every person we encountered at the Courtyard Marriott was more than willing to go out of their way to help us. Nicole Duncan is an amazing person, she loved all of my crazy ideas and was so excited for it! I think I emailed her at least 4 times a week and some had a list of 10 different questions..and I ALWAYS received a response right away! We had our ceremony and reception at the hotel, even in the same room! They were able to "flip the room" from the ceremony to the reception during the cocktail hour and everything was perfect!! I can not say enough about the Courtyard Marriott, but one thing I will say is if you are thinking of having your wedding here, you won't regret it!! We will be going back every year to stay for our anniversary!!

The Courtyard Marriott was amazing with my wedding!! They did practically everything for me...we enjoyed our wedding to the fullest!

The Courtyard was perfect for our wedding. With the selection of decorations we found a style to fit our wedding. Susan was wonderful to work with. She kept us up to date on every detail and kept us in mind the whole time. She really wanted to make our reception exactly what we wanted it to be. And we could not have asked for more!

We had a GREAT experience having our reception at the Courtyard Marriott. Susan was wonderful to work with and did everything she could to make our wedding day a dream come true. She was flexible and professional and helpful with many little details. I would highly recommend this place, mostly because of Susan. Cost was also good, and it helped that we had won a prize toward our reception at this location.

I would recommend the venue for your wedding. However, you should be very prepared to stay on them about making sure all the details are in place. Oh and you should espect delay in responses to your questions. Everything ended up working out just fine on ou wedding day but I will say that the vendor did not instill a lot of confidence in me prior to. Over the phone, the hotel staff was just very busy and gave me the impression that I was just any old guest wanting to use their venue. Although, when I met the staff in-person they were all very kind and attentive. They were quite flexible and really tred to meet everyones needs.

We blocked rooms here for our wedding that was not at this hotel. Sometimes Nicole was difficult to work with and get a response from that was accurate. Our names were constantly misspelled etc. The price was high for being in Ohio and there is no breakfast. Nice hotel, front desk is very friendly and helpful, but nothing spectacular for the price.
