Kris & Sandra were absolutely amazing! Not only were their responses timely, but their patience and understanding during our engagement session and wedding day were completely unmatched. Kris definitely helped with all the chaos on the wedding day, and we definitely felt taken care of. He has amazing visions and guided us so gently through the photos. We felt so comfortable, and we are absolutely IN LOVE with both our engagement and wedding day galleries. We cannot wait to work with them again in the future! :) -

Big island vow renewal
We had an amazing experience with Sandra and Kris on our 10 year wedding vow renewal. I can't stress enough how much Sandra helped in organizing and making sure our special day went smoothly. She took so much off my plate and pulled off a memorable and beautiful event for our intimate gathering. She made me feel at ease and took care of all the details. She's worth every penny, so personable and professional we absolutely loved her. Her husband Kris took beautiful pictures of my husband and I as well as our families to commemorate the occasion which we will all remember fondly for years to come specially since we didn't have professional photos on our wedding day. Kris made us feel super comfortable,suggested beautiful poses, and made us look great in our photos! Both Sandra and Kris go above and beyond for their clients and you will be in great hands for whatever occasion you have planned. Highly recommended if you are in need of making a special memory on Hawaii island. Mahalo Sandra and Kris!

Couple Cups absolutely exceeded every expectation for our private beach ceremony. Sandra and her husband made our elopement feel magical from the very first moment. She took care of everything — the flowers, makeup, hair — and somehow managed to match each detail perfectly to my heart, my spirit, and the vision I held for our day.
She even found the most perfect officiant in the universe, someone who felt hand-picked just for us. The ceremony they created together was deeply meaningful, beautifully intimate, and truly unforgettable. The entire experience was seamless, stress-free, and overflowing with love.
We are so grateful that we spent our very first day as a married couple with Sandra and her team. Their care, talent, and passion made our wedding more impactful and beautiful than we could have imagined.

Kris was one of the best decisions we made for our elopement in Hawaii. He photographed our morning with such artistry and intention that we get lost in the gallery over and over again. He has such an amazing gift for knowing when to guide us gently, and when to step back and let the moment just happen naturally.
The ceremony shots are absolutely breathtaking from the first kiss, the blessings under the palms, the quiet moments after. His portraits on the lava rock and in the palm grove are full of joy, intimacy, and just feel so, us. And the Porsche shots are some of our very favorites! What a great moment to capture for two car enthusiasts.
Kris' intuitive spirit made us feel comfortable, seen, and most of all genuinely cared for. Every single image is brimming with warmth, color, and story.
If you’re on the fence about Kris… book him! He will not just document your wedding, he will help you preserve it in the most beautiful of ways. -

Kikaua Beach Elopement 2025
Book them!! Our elopement ceremony could not have been more perfect. Sandra and Kris were so easy to work with and made the entire experience completely stress-free for us. They truly listen to what you want and produce top notch results.
Communication with Sandra was seamless. You tell her what you like and she totally delivers the day of your ceremony. Sandra asked what I wanted regarding my bouquet and the cake during one of our meetings. With only my words and a few inspiration pictures to go off of, she (as well as the baker (Nadine Loraine) and florist (Ainahua Florals) created my dream bouquet and dream cake. I was SO excited when I saw them the day of our ceremony!
Kris produces some of the most beautiful photography I’ve ever seen. Our photos turned out wonderful!
I highly, HIGHLY recommend Sandra and Kris. I had my dream wedding all thanks to them! :) -

We already loved Couple Cups photography and knew they were the only ones who would be able to capture the vibrancy of a Hindu Hawaiian wedding. We. Were. Not. Disappointed. Kris was everywhere all at once but barely noticeable. He got these images that didn't just capture the event but really told a story. It's a real gift, and we're so lucky we could have Couple Cups come and shoot our day. I feel like the hallmark of a really skilled photographer is when they can get these wonderful raw shots of your friends and family members without them noticing. Looking back on the day is actually like reliving it, and it's because of Kris. Mahalo Couple Cups for really capturing the love, excitement, and true meaning of ohana. -

Kris has such an eye for THE best shots! He captures the scenery so well and also the little moments. What made me go with Couple cups was their Instagram, check it out! They have such rich tones and really capture the depth of the big island (black rock, deep greenery etc). On the day of the wedding it was pouring rain so we couldn’t get the first look and other shots we wanted on the property, Kris arrived and gave us the direction we needed! I love my sneak peak and can’t wait for more of the shots!! Thank you Kris and Sandra!! Highly recommend!! -

Sandra and Kris were great throughout our entire planning process. They were quick to reply to emails, they offered valuable suggestions and they were extremely easy to work with. Kris' attention to detail was amazing, helping us pose and making sure he got the right shots all while making us feel comfortable in front of the camera! We are so in love with our photos and would recommend Couple Cups to anyone! -

What makes them unique is they allow you to enjoy the moment and be yourself while they capture the magic. They have fun ideas that turn out to be amazing shots when you look back on the photos. Every detail is captured and they do such an amazing job communicating with you. They make the whole experience one to remember. They are so fun to work with and their work speaks for itself.
