  Captured our Wedding Beautifully

  Kris went above & beyond for our wedding photos. Him & his wife were quick to respond, upload sneak peeks, & edited our photos with such care & precision. We loved them! So excited to frame & share with family and friends. Thank you, both!

  Taking our Hindu Hawaiian wedding up to a 10!

  We already loved Couple Cups photography and knew they were the only ones who would be able to capture the vibrancy of a Hindu Hawaiian wedding. We. Were. Not. Disappointed. Kris was everywhere all at once but barely noticeable. He got these images that didn't just capture the event but really told a story. It's a real gift, and we're so lucky we could have Couple Cups come and shoot our day. I feel like the hallmark of a really skilled photographer is when they can get these wonderful raw shots of your friends and family members without them noticing. Looking back on the day is actually like reliving it, and it's because of Kris. Mahalo Couple Cups for really capturing the love, excitement, and true meaning of ohana.

  Gorgeous candid shots!

  Kris has such an eye for THE best shots! He captures the scenery so well and also the little moments. What made me go with Couple cups was their Instagram, check it out! They have such rich tones and really capture the depth of the big island (black rock, deep greenery etc). On the day of the wedding it was pouring rain so we couldn’t get the first look and other shots we wanted on the property, Kris arrived and gave us the direction we needed! I love my sneak peak and can’t wait for more of the shots!! Thank you Kris and Sandra!! Highly recommend!!

  Couldn't Recommend More!

  Sandra and Kris were great throughout our entire planning process. They were quick to reply to emails, they offered valuable suggestions and they were extremely easy to work with. Kris' attention to detail was amazing, helping us pose and making sure he got the right shots all while making us feel comfortable in front of the camera! We are so in love with our photos and would recommend Couple Cups to anyone!

  What an amazing experience! Not only did we have such a wonderful day hiking, we now have the most amazing photos to remember our time. I would highly recommend Couple Cups to anyone, and am very impressed with their helpfulness and expertise posing my fiancé and I to get the best shots.

  These guys are so wonderful!!! Incredible work and they brought such excellent vibes to our wedding!!! Not at all intrusive during the ceremony which we really appreciated, and had our photos back to us exactly when they said they would! We are absolutely thrilled!! Very highly recommend!!!

  I found Couple Cups through Yelp, and the reviews are so accurate. I hired them to shoot my wedding on Kauai in Feb, 2018. They were so easy to work with. A couple of phone calls and a couple of emails and things were set up. So easy. They were so knowledge and helpful with all sorts of tips about where, when and how to make sure the photo shoot went as smoothly as possible. It was really intimidating reading about the permitting process, but they took care of it without any fuss at all. Even before we set foot in the island, I was comfortable that it would go well.
  On the day of the wedding, everything went as smoothly as I could hope for.
  The team was so much fun to work with. They put me at ease instantly, and within 5 minutes of meeting them, I knew things were going to turn out just fine. They remembered specific shots that we wanted and were very flexible and open to changing things on the fly. I'm not sure if wedding photos are supposed to be fun instead of just awkward, but it felt so natural and comfortable that I didn't want it to end. If the sun wasn't setting, I could have stayed out there for much longer.
  But let's get to the most important part, the pictures. Oh, the pictures! We got a preview a couple of weeks later and the full set about 5 weeks after the event just as promised. These pictures were as gorgeous as I could hope for.
  I would hire them again in a heartbeat and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs a photographer in Hawaii.

  Amazing experience for our beach elopement!

  Couple Cups was absolutely fantastic to work with. From initially reaching out to them (and their quick response) to deciding on the best package that would work for us, they were wonderful!

Long story short, my (now husband) and I traveled to Hawaii for our destination elopement, and it was literally just the two of us there- no friends or family members for the trip. We wanted to get a true "first look" captured for our big day and upon realizing that we were going to be traveling from the hotel to the wedding location on the beach together en route to the ceremony, Couple Cups offered to pick me up at the hotel and take me to the ceremony location while my groom drove the rental car a bit in advance so we wouldn't cross paths before our actual first look. They really went the extra mile and we were both so impressed (and appreciative!) that they offered to do this. This detail alone helped make our entire wedding day that much more special.
  
  We love our photos and wouldn't hesitate to book Couple Cups again for another shoot the next time we are in Hawaii.

  COUPLE CUPS IS AMAZING! They did our post engagement photos and our day of wedding photos. What makes them unique is they allow you to enjoy the moment and be yourself while they capture the magic. They have fun ideas that turn out to be amazing shots when you look back on the photos. Every detail is captured and they do such an amazing job communicating with you. They make the whole experience one to remember. They are so fun to work with and their work speaks for itself. I highly recommend Couple Cups for all your professional photo events.   Sandra & Kris were amazing - they did a great job capturing the entire day for us! We interviewed several photographers but the quality and overall appeal of Sandra & Kris' work set it apart from many others and made it an easy decision for us. They knew exactly what to do through the entire day and made it stressless for everyone involved in the photographs!

  I was a little worried spending so much money on a photographer, but it was worth every penny that we spent. While planning for our wedding I looked all over trying to find the right photographer. I have family that lives on the big island so we where given a few names to look up, but their pictures stood out from the rest. Their pictures are artistic and not static like a lot of the other photographers. We are both so pleased with all their photos and all my my family keeps praising the pictures as well. All the pictures are available for download, which is amazing, and we can share the pictures on social media as well like. We would recommend their services!

  For our small family wedding on May 28 at Puakea Ranch we used Couple Cups as our photographer. Sandra and Kris were so fantastic, professional, fun, and creative.   Sandra and Kris are the best in every way! We were worried about our engagement photos looking awkward because we don't take a lot of photos together but Couple Cups gave us lots of coaching that helped us look and act natural. Sandra and Kris were willing to travel to the the ends of the earth for a great shooting spot-- we actually ended up off-roading down to Waipio Valley. By the end of our shoot, we all felt like long time friends.
  
  A few weeks later, the photos came out MAGICAL. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. Now we will have these cherished memories to share with our children and grandchildren!!
