    Where do I even begin my reasons for recommending Billerica Country Club for a wedding venue. For starters, they saved my husband and I’s wedding. To continue on, they were great with communication, extremely knowledgeable and handled all of the coordination on our day. They even accepted our vendors (minus the caterer we were planning on) when they typically offer a package deal. If you want details, read on!

    We had booked our wedding with Longmeadow Golf Club in the fall. Five and a half months away from our wedding, they called to inform us they had accidentally scheduled our wedding the same day as a big golf tournament. Needless to say, we were in trouble!

    I thought of other venues near our hotel (in Billerica) and saw BCC. I immediately called them and left a voicemail. Not ten minutes later, Brynn (the event coordinator of BCC) called me back. Luckily, our wedding date had recently opened up. I signed a contract with them that day and paid the deposit.

    Brynn has been wonderful! She has been easy to reach, very knowledgeable and her experience has assisted us every step of the way. She allowed us to bring our previously booked vendors because we were cancelled on suddenly.

    On the day of our wedding, Sue took care of everything for us in Brynn’s place. She was very organized and made sure our day ran smoothly. Our wedding didn’t run without complications, but Sue made sure it didn’t ruin our day.

    The wait staff was fantastic and very attentive. They were always asking us if they could get us anything and they were so helpful!!

    I will always be thankful that we ended up at Billerica Country Club!!! You should definitely book your wedding here!

    Excellent job making sure that all was how I had envisioned for my wedding day! Brynn was amazing to work with, she made my day less stressful for me.

    5 Star all around! Great venue! Get value! The offered package includes everything you need. Amazing photographer, bakery, florist, invitations, etc... It takes the stress out of planning a wedding so you can truley enjoy the process. Brynn was THE BEST event coordinator we could have asked for! She was extremely helpful, organizesd, responsive and really knew what she was doing. While we were planning our wedding, the Country Club was in the process of changing the photographer along with upgrading the venue itself, and it was all for the better! We received compliments on the food from just about everyone that attended the reception. We couldn't be happier with our choice of the Country Club of Billerica, and Brynn helped to make it something we will remember forever! I would highly recommend the Country Club of Billerica for any occasion, you will not be disappointed.

    The wedding coordinator is so easy to work with and clearly knows what she is doing. This site offers package deals that are clearly listed on their website, and will allow you to substitute up to 2 of your own vendors and will credit you for the cost of those 2. If you want to substitute beyond that, they will of course allow it, but they won't credit you any further. The prices are reasonable and in our case the best available for the area for what we were able to do. The place has just been renovated so it looks modern and clean, and the grounds are well kept and look great in all the pictures. We were concerned that since we were married on a Sunday and they allowed their club members to play golf during events that we would have golfers in the background but we really didn't even notice, and not one made it into a photo. The vendors that they regularly contract with were great and conveniently located near the site, which made planning our wedding much easier since we only had 6 months to pull it all together.

    My only complaint is that the servers were supposed to serve the wedding party one flavor of cake and serve the rest of our guests the other 2 flavors, and they just cut the whole thing and served it buffet style. Just a suggestion, but for details like this make sure they are clearly spelled out with the coordinator. They did everythign else as we asked.

    I went through the Country Club to have my wedding, it seemed the easier way to go. The event planner was very nice, but seemed new to her job. At times it was hard to get a hold of her whether through e mail or phone calls. Our engraved cake cutting wear and glasses we were not pleased with. It looked as if my first name was spelled wrong, nothing could be done about it. So we got stuck with them.

    With almost a month before our wedding the photographer vender was changed, which I was happy about. The wedding cake was great and the flowers where beautiful. The only issue I had with the flowers were the Grooms flowers where suppose to be brought to the Country Club for the guys. But all the flowers got delivered to the hotel, so that I had to bring them in the limo to the guys.

    I had trouble with some of the other vendors, the morning of my wedding the hotel told me I was not in the system when I went to check in, then the manager told me that the suite that was reserved for me by the Country Club was not ready and that I would have to be moved. As I am in the Limo waiting for my wedding to began, the event planner pops in to inform that overnight chairs where stolen and the runner for the grass was half stolen. Now it has been 2 months since my wedding and I am still trying to get in touch with the photographer for my album. He never picks up his cell phone or office phone. He does not respond to e -mails. He does call people back or keep appointments.


    Over all the Country Club did ok, if I had to do it all over again I do not think I would go through the country club. But it was cheap enough and everything was included.

    There were a few minor things that went wrong, like the seating being incorrect, I have no idea what happend but entire tables of people were in the wrong places. My mother said her table was never served coffee, she had to get up and go find someone to bring them some, I was unaware of this until the next day so I'm not sure if others had bad service as well and we just don't know about it. These things I can overlook because the event was beautiful and we did have a great day. However, here is my reason for giving responsiveness and professionalism such bad ratings; we ordered 8 dozen pastries from the bakery they suggested we get the cake from, when they were delivered someone signed a seperate invoice for them with my husbands name and my name on it then they were never served. When my husband called about this Brynn said the chef assumed they were for Sundays wedding and she would see what she could do and get back to us. I called the bakery and they said they absolutely do not deliver for an event the day before, they also mailed me a copy of the invoice with our names on it that the country club signed when they were delivered. I have no idea what happened to the pastries, either Sundays wedding got 8 dozen pastries at my expense or the crew took them home, either way its 2 months later and I never received a call back, she just totally blew us off.
