What an absolute gem. Between the dreamy garden settings, the breadth of spaces you have to use, the freedom to choose your vendors, and the incredible staff this is truly an exceptional wedding venue. We needed a space with good indoor outdoor flow that would provide a full rain option if needed (given our guest count) and this more than fit the bill. And the best possible bonus - Angela!!! She manages the venue and can be booked as your day-of coordinator (which I HIGHLY recommend). Her calm presence, positive demeanor, and mastery of events in her space truly set our day apart. It was truly a dream come true to find such a perfect location to make our own. If you want to really customize your vision for a reasonable price and just have FUN on your wedding day book them now!!! -

Coto Valley Country Club was our dream venue! After touring tons of options, we had the best feeling about Coto Valley just pulling up to the venue. It is a gorgeous property, the staff are friendly, and the ability to bring in pretty much any vendor sold us completely.
We decided to use Angela as our coordinator, and she was the best. She made our planning process so much smoother, and being able to text her throughout planning helped a ton. Every time we met with her, she solved any problem we had or walked us through the typical process. Angela let me share my own ideas and change things around as I wanted, which was so appreciated!
The getting ready rooms here are gorgeous, the venue is spacious, the flexibility was unmatched, and our day was absolutely PERFECT! Plus there are tons of spots for photos to be taken! We couldn’t be happier with Coto Valley Country Club! -

Coto Valley Country Club was the wedding venue of our dreams! My husband and I toured dozens of venues before visiting this one. The moment we visited Coto Valley Country Club and met Angela, we knew this was the venue for us. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are friendly.
Angela was a wonderful coordinator; she's quick to respond and attentive to details. During the stressful months of planning, whenever we met up with Angela, my husband and I would feel more at ease knowing she would take care of our day. Our wedding day was so beautiful and perfect. My husband and I, along with our bridal party got ready at the venue (the getting-ready rooms are incredibly spacious). There were plenty of beautiful spots to take photos. We couldn't be happier with Coto Valley Country Club! -

I had the best, intimate (covid) wedding here. My husband and I are so happy with the outcome and Angela made everything so easy for us as well. She is the best. I would chose this place a million times over everything else and I’m so glad I found it. The trees and the ambiance is perfect and my guests loved it as well. -

Greatt venue with a lot of flexibility!
Coto Valley Country Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was beautiful and spacious, providing a lawn area for the ceremony and pictures, an area for an outside cocktail hour and two other outside areas including one with a fireplace for our guests to mingle and enjoy. The inside reception area was roomy and very cute with a rustic elegant charm. It also was very spacious with a separate dancing area that was perfect to hold our live band. The venue had several decorations from previous weddings that we were able to use free of charge. Angela Sohie, the venue manager and our day of coordinator was personable, professional and fun to work with. She always made time for our questions and made a lot of great suggestions. She did a fabulous job keeping the wedding and reception flowing smoothly. We highly recommend Coto Valley and Angela. Our wedding was a dream and turned out perfectly in a most beautiful setting. -

I can NOT say enough about this venue. It is everything that I dreamed of for my wedding. Vintage chic and indoors without feeling stuffy and BEAUTIFUL outdoor patios with twinkle lights! Angela, the wedding coordinator, has been nothing short of amazing. This venue has allowed me to have the wedding of my dreams without breaking the bank. We can bring in our owner alcohol and catering! She always gets back to me quickly, is super flexible and really makes you feel so special. She even let me vent to her when I thought I was texting my sister in law and her response was so good! haha I can NOT wait to get married here! -

The venue was everything! We were looking for a place where we could bring in our own vendors (mainly for food, my husband is picky). Coto Valley afforded us beautiful scenery, props, and the freedom to make the space our own. The coordinator, Angela, was the very best. She encouraged my wild imagination and was willing to help in any way needed. Believe me, I called and came by often and I do not live close. On the day of the wedding, she was great. Angela jumped in right with my friends to ensure my vision came to life. Thank you Coto Valley Country Club. Oh! I have to give a shout out to HENRY. He helped me tremendously too.

Andy Sent on 09/30/2017I don't even really know where to begin, really - the short version is that our wedding day would not have been half as memorable as it would have been without Angela and Coto Valley Country Club. From our first meeting, you are taken aback by how stunning the landscaping and overall ambience is. It feels like a combination of a ritzy country club and the down-to-earth feel of your own backyard - a wonderful and unique combination. As soon as we visited, we knew we could throw the book away on venues, as we were sold on the spot. A HUGE plus column item for us was that they allowed us to bring on our OWN food and drinks - this was a major selling point for us, as we were devoted to the idea of having an In-n-Out truck for our wedding...mmmm, Double-Doubles. They also provide plenty of tables and chairs included in the rental fee - amazing!
They offer a few different options, including their Main Dining Hall, downstairs reception area, outside altar/lawn for the ceremony, and they lay everything out in front of you - no gimmicks, no tricks. Saturdays will cost you a little more, so we opted for a Sunday and added the outdoor lawn for our ceremony. With the trees in full bloom and the altar area surrounded by beauty, we held around a 150 person wedding with ease. We moved the 200 feet from the ceremony into the Main Hall with no problem, and had more than enough room for our Grand Entrance, photo booth, dancing (oh, so much dancing) - plus, there is a MASSIVE bar built into the reception hall, making things easier for your hired help!
Angela Sohie, the property manager, was one of the most pleasant, attentive and enjoyable people we have ever known. She always had time for our questions, and worked her butt off to ensure that we didn't have anything to worry about on our big day. Angela helped provide us with help regarding bussers, bartenders, and anything else we required (as long as we asked). We love you, Angela! Do yourself a big favor - go with Coto Valley! -

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration with Coto Valley Country Club regarding their failure to honor our wedding booking. Despite having a confirmed reservation and having paid a substantial deposit, my special day was ruined due to the venue's double booking error.
The news of the cancellation was delivered to me more than three months after I signed the contract with little to no empathy or consideration for the emotional distress this caused. It was a devastating blow to my fiancé and I, as we had spent months planning and dreaming of our wedding day. The stress and chaos of having to find a new venue on such short notice were overwhelming.
Furthermore, the lack of transparency and accountability from Coto Valley Country Club has been disheartening. While I understand that mistakes can happen, the way this situation was handled was unacceptable. The venue should have taken full responsibility for their error and made every effort to rectify the situation.
I would strongly advise anyone considering Coto Valley Country Club for their wedding to proceed with extreme caution. Their lack of reliability and professionalism has left me and my fiancé with a lasting negative impression.

Coto Valley Country Country Club did offer to move the date a day before, however, with all of the vendors booked and paid non refundable deposits, time taken off of work, and save the dates sent where family and friends already booked flights and hotels, this was not an option. Additionally, trust had been broken - why would we trust Coto Valley to honor a new date after double booking our original date? To be clear, Coto Valley Country Club never found us two other venues. We didn’t “choose” to find a different venue, we were forced to due to a breach in contract and time running out. We were paid an additional $4,000 by court order because we had to take this matter to court after two ignored settlements that were offered to Coto Valley Country Club. For anyone wanting more information before booking their event, don’t hesitate to reach out. I know how stressful planning a wedding is, and I’d hate for anyone else to go through such a nightmare. -

THEY DOUBLE BOOKED US! Only to let us know over 3 MONTHS LATER!
Within those 3 months we had all of our vendors booked with non refundable deposits, as well as the "Save the Date" cards we sent out to all of our guests to this venue. After 3 months of heavy planning, the manager, Angela, simply let us know via email that Coto Valley Country Club was breaching our contract because they had double booked us.
To mitigate the situation, we demanded that they would find us a replacement venue, but they decided to relinquish responsibility because they gave us our deposit back. DAMAGE ALREADY DONE! Putting aside all the lost time, we were scrambling to find the leftover venues that would still have our wedding date open. Even worse, finding a new venue that would fit with our already booked vendors cost us significantly more money.
Long story short, we sent them a settlement letter written by our lawyer to pay for our financial damages but they ignored it. We had no other choice but to take it to small claims court to get justice.

To say they gave us 6 months left is an overstatement given that anyone in their right mind would know 6 months is not a lot of time for a wedding. We didn’t “choose” to find a different venue, we were forced to due to a breach in contract and time running out. CCVC paid an additional $4,000 by court order because they would not settle when it was offered to them. Planning a wedding is stressful, and I’d hate for anyone else to go through such a nightmare.
