  Sindy and Angelo are absolutely amazing! They are accommodating, friendly, and professional. Their talent is unmatched and we are blown away with our photos! I truly can’t recommend them enough and will forever be thankful we chose them to capture our special day!

  The best in the business! :)

  I am so lucky that when I started google searching photographers within the Virginia Beach area that I came across Sindy & Angelo! Prior to finding their website, I had such a hard time finding someone who offered both photography and videography for a price that was within our budget.
  Right away, I was so impressed by Sindy & Angelo’s website and their portfolio of work. Not only that, they offered us such a great and affordable dual package for both photography and videography.
  They made us feel so comfortable prior to booking by allowing us to FaceTime them for an initial consultation. They also provided us with a complimentary engagement shoot and that was when we really realized how lucky we were to have them be a part of our special day! My husband and I have no idea what we’re doing when it comes to taking a good picture but Sindy & Angelo were able to guide us through the entire shoot, capturing some of the most beautiful, candid moments. I also have to mention, the day we decided to do the shoot was probably one of the coldest/windiest days in VA beach! Sindy & Angelo totally powered through, despite probably not being able to feel their hands (still sorry about that!!! haha). You would have never known the circumstances with how stunning the photos are!
  When it came to planning for the wedding, Sindy & Angelo were so professional. They made sure to really get a feel for what shots we were looking for and they completely nailed it down to every specific detail. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly and they were able to get every shot that we wanted plus more that I never would have thought to ask for.
  Overall, our experience with Sindy & Angelo was amazing. They provided us with memories that we will now get to relive any time we want through their beautiful photos and heartfelt video! They are the sweetest couple, two of the nicest people we’ve been lucky enough to meet, and to now call our friends.
  I definitely plan on continuing a relationship with them in the future because if my husband and I ever need photos, we can trust that they will definitely deliver an amazing body of work. You will not regret booking with Cortese Photography & Film!

  Great pricing for one of the best photographers and videographer!

  Sindy and Angelo always exceed my expectations when they get behind the camera. My husband and I just got married on 11/18/18 and loved working with them for both our photography and videography. They sent a few sneak peeks quickly after our wedding and I cannot wait for the rest of our photos to come. They are very professional and make us feel so comfortable being in front of a camera all day. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a photographer and videographer.

  Angelo and Sindy were simply amazing!!! They captured every moment of our wedding. I am in love with every picture! Since the first email to the delivery of our prints nothing but true professionals. I would recommend them to anyone!

  My husband and I just got married and we hired Cortese to do our engagement and wedding photos; we couldn't have made a better decision! Sindy and Angelo are some of the kindest people we've ever met. They made our engagement photo shoot very relaxing and enjoyable.   My husband and I went back and forth for months on getting a videographer for our wedding. Budgets were tight and it was one of the things we weren’t sure we could make happen but I just couldn’t get it off my mind. I did a lot of research on the type of video I wanted and looked at almost every videographer in OBX, VA and beyond, but for some reason I never pulled the trigger. One night I came across Cortese Photography & Film and something just felt right. From the very beginning we felt a connection with Angelo and Sindy. They took time to skype with us and get to know us as a couple and how we envisioned our special day. It was only a few weeks before our wedding that we finally made the decision to go with Cortese and it was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. They captured every perfect moment of our day and also let us be a part of the creation of our video and made it more perfect than I could have ever imagined. From having our letters read in the background, to song choices or adding/deleting things it was so easy to work with them. They also kept us in the loop on all timelines and our video was completed just as they said. Photos are important but there is something about a video that captures the true happiness of the day and many things I didn’t even remember. I am truly grateful for our video and will treasure it always as one of the best days of our lives. I have already recommended Angelo and Sindy to all of my friends getting married and would attest to their amazing work and professionalism. You will NOT be sorry, just get them quick bc they are going to be booking up fast. Thanks again, you guys rock

  We are so happy we found Cortese Photography and Film! They are truly THE BEST! We honestly can’t say enough good things about this husband and wife team. They were so professional, patient, prompt in every correspondence, flexible, personable and just a joy to work with! Sindy and Angelo arrived early and worked well with the other vendors. They had a peaceful presence and were barely noticeable throughout the evening. They captured the sentimental wedding details, tender moments and the pure joy of the day! Their love and passion for each other and their business is reflected in their finished product. The video work and editing was FANTASTIC! There was detail taken in placing video footage to correspond with music lyrics, using slow motion and real interviews. The picture and sound quality was flawless (outdoor ceremony).
  The highlight video and full length wedding video make us cry each time we view them. They turned out more perfect than we could have imagined! Thank you Sindy and Angelo for capturing our day in such a beautiful way!

  We were coming in from out of town. We were trying to make plans from Texas with vendors we had no idea about. We contacted Cortese Photography after seeing their name on the Knot. We originally only spoke about pricing for photos and tried to make a plan for our special day. After numerous emails and phone conversations my new wife and I decided to do photos and a video. We were able to Skype with them so that we could put a face to the names as well as get to know them better and have them get to know us. It was slightly worrying at first to send money to a stranger half way across the country but that feeling was relieved after our Skype meeting and continuous communication. The day of the wedding they arrived earlier than anticipated and were able to set up quickly and devise a plan of action of who was going to be where and get the specs on the specific photos we were wanting. They were professional and courteous and the day went off without a hitch. They offered to stay a little while longer after our time slot to ensure we had the photos we wanted. They conducted interviews with my wife and I and her father and the questions were meaningful and allowed for answers that did not need to be scripted. A couple of weeks after the wedding we received our pictures and about a week or two after that we received our video. Our friends, family and ourselves were SO HAPPY with the product. The photos were great and the video was perfect. They were able to capture our event in such a beautiful manner. The video was perfect as well. From song choice to editing we could not have directed better than they directed themselves. As far as photographers go they gave us the best product for our money. IF you are looking for photography/videography for your special day I highly recommend using them. Price, quality, personalization and professionalism at its finest. I cannot say enough about how amazing they are and how amazing their product is. Thank you Cortese.

  Beautiful Wedding Photography

  After getting engaged, we were so excited to book our wedding vendors; however, finding the right photographer was the most challenging for us. I had a clear idea of what type of photos I wanted: light, airy, natural, and pretty photos that didn't look too staged or posed.
