We were so happy with Corky's Catering! In a time full of a million logistical wedding issues, we never once had an issue with Corky's. We got a great deal, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our hungover wedding guests were very grateful :) Highly recommend using Corky's for your event! They were so professional, and saved me a whole lot of stress! -

Corky's catered our wedding this month and we are so lucky they did. For dinner we had a buffet of the 18 hour smoked brisket, linguini with broccoli and olive oil, and herb-roasted chicken. Nearly every guest came up to us begging to know who provided the food because it was so good! Two guests even told it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Corky's also provided dessert and bartending service as well. Kristina was so incredibly easy to work with and took care of every detail and request that we had. The team at our wedding was also so friendly and helpful! I couldn't recommend them more! -

My husband and I hired Corky’s Catering for our winter wedding at Garfield Park Conservatory after reading many positive reviews about the company. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision! We dealt with Kristina Hickey who was extremely professional throughout the entire process, answered all of our questions, took notes of what was important to us, and removed any stress associated with planning a wedding. What was really a nice touch is that she had bottles of Korbel champagne, my mother-in-law’s favorite, after we briefly mentioned that was her preferred brand. It was those thoughtful touches that made the day extra special! We did a food tasting ahead of time and were blown away by the options and how delicious the food was. My guests are still raving about the food and how Kristina and her team handled everything so nicely; and not just with the food, but the overall set up of the venue. Everyone on her team showed up on time, looked wonderful in their white and black attire and were courteous with guests throughout the evening.
When you hire the right people for your wedding, the stress level completely disappears. Throughout the few months leading up to my wedding, my friends and family often commented on how calm I seemed, and that's because I hired the right team. Words can't really express how deeply grateful we are to Corky’s for all the work they did to ensure our special day was phenomenal! -

Sam and her team worked tirelessly to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. The food was incredible, and Sam kept in contact with us continuously. They set everything up and tore it down in no time. Their expertise was irreplaceable, especially through unprecedented weather insanity. Sam made the night unforgettable, even through having a baby and planning her own wedding! -

The food, the setup, passed appetizers, dinner, teardown/cleanup...everything was wonderful! I specifically remember Marta making sure I had wine or food or whatever I needed at any time! She was amazing! We received several compliments from guests as to how great they were. I would choose Cork as our caterer over and over again! I would recommend them to anyone! -

Alicia Sent on 01/20/2012We hired Cork (Corky's blue plate company) to cater our Wedding, our reception was held at Salvage One downtown Chicago, I Have nothing but great things to say about Cork and their staff, let me tell you that Monika was the star of our show, she was very professional, empathetic and answer all of my questions( I had a lot ) My Husband and I were very satisfied with their service. Corky's crew from the chef to the wait staff was courteous and friendly; I have been to so many weddings in banquet halls where the staff is jaded and barely talks, this guys were sweet an knowledgeable they smile the whole time, it really made the difference.
I have many many of my guest tell me this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, people keeps raving about it on my FB page.
To answer your question as far as I could tell they got to the spot on time I did not see any evidence of to the contrary. Salvage One is a very unique place and they also have high standards, Sara our contact at Salvage One told me that her experience with Corky's was great and that gave me peace of mind.
Monika worked with our budget and explained our options clearly, i would recomend them to any one looking for a fine catering company. -

Hollyn Sent on 12/27/2012Cory's is Cork Catering's cheaper little sister so the food quality is high for less money. Food was not the highest priority for us, but we did want it to taste good and be enjoyable to guests (but we weren't looking to win any foodie awards). Corky's was amazing. We got chicken and roast beef and some veggies and starches, just basics, but it was amazing! (they also have a variety of "fancier" options that we tasted that were to-die-for, so they do amazing food all around, from basic budget to over the top fancy!)
I also loved that they allowed us to provide our own desserts and alcohol but they served it (we paid for a couple of bar staff, but so worth it). They even helped us track down a cotton candy machine rental! The staff of the day of was amazing, they were all very friendly and nice and helpful (think of the best waiter you have had...thats them). And so great with timing! No food was cold and no drink empty.
if I ever need anything catered again, I'll call them! -

While I must admit that I did not try much of their food during the wedding because of the anxiety during my wedding day, everyone commented on the quality of food. I had multiple friends ask me for the caterer's number for their own wedding. I would highly recommend this company to anyway for a hassle-free wedding catering experience. -

Kristy Sent on 03/28/2009Corky's had a variety of options for my backyard wedding and provided the more casual feel i was looking for, although they did seem able to cater at formal weddings as well. the orders were accurate and there weren't any problems. the little bit of food i got to sample after the reception tasted good, but i was also starving. -

Beth Sent on 09/08/2011We had a July 3rd wedding so we did something a lil different. We decided to have a "Chicago-style" hot dog bar and taco bar (with all the fixins). After some back and forth with one rep that I wasn't getting far with, I was transferred to a different gal a month or so before the wedding and she fixed us up with exactly what we wanted. The food was awesome and we received numerous compliments!!! I will go with Corky's for future "picnic-style" events!
