Amazing Custom Work
We loved working with Coqui for our invitations and day-of stationary needs. They created gorgeous custom water colors of our venue and were a joy to work with. The whole process was quick, easy and stress-free. -

Beautiful Invitations and Day of Items
I found Coqui at the Wonderful World of Weddings show and they had an invitation design that I knew would be perfect for our wedding! After that I knew that there was no question on who I wanted to go with for all of our invitation and paper needs! The process of creating our invitations was incredibly easy and straight forward. Having somebody to help out with any questions on wording and all etiquette questions that we had made the process so much easier. When we received our invitations and I noticed some addresses missing or some errors on the addressing I reached out and received a response right away. The errors were fixed right away and we received the corrections within a day. When it came to our day of items they were able to create program fans that were beautiful and our place cards were amazing. Everything looked so elegant! They saved us so many headaches when it comes to the right way to do things. I would highly recommend Coqui if you are looking for invitations as they will do an amazing job! -

Coqui Design was wonderful to work with for all of our paper needs for our wedding! When we first walked in the door with a vision and color scheme in mind, Denise helped pick out the perfect invitation to fit exactly what I was looking for!
Everything turned out PERFECT. Our invitations, table numbers, place cards, menus, the sign for our ceremony - all BEAUTIFUL. Thank you ladies! You are amazing! -

Coqui Design exceeded all of my expectations for my invitations and other paper needs for my wedding. Elizabeth and Denise were awesome to work with from start to finish. They look as much time as I needed to look through samples of designs they'd done in the past and invitations from their vendors as well as listened to all of my ideas for what I was looking for. Our invitations turned out PERFECT. They were exactly how I envisioned them in my head and I couldn't have done it without Elizabeth's creativity. She tweaked the designs exactly as I asked and offered suggestions when I wasn't sure what to do. Coqui also designed our programs, table numbers, place cards, the sign for our "guestbook", personalized napkins and hotel guest do not disturb doorknob hangers. They can virtually create anything you're looking for! My absolute favorite thing was the do not disturb doorknob hangers for our hotel guests. As a fan of Pinterest, I know some things are not attainable, but Elizabeth easily created exactly what I was looking for. I cannot say enough good things about Coqui Design and highly recommend them for any design and paper needs you're looking for! -

GREAT VENDOR TO WORK WITH!! We were VERY limited on time, and Elizabeth worked extremely hard for us to make sure everything we needed was ready and perfect for our big day. We used Coqui for our invitations, place cards, escort cards, programs, and cake tents. They did an amazing job, and we received several compliments. Elizabeth and her mother were very responsive and helpful through the whole process. They showed us tons of samples and made all of our own ideas happen as well. I don't know of another vendor that would have taken on the task with the time frame we gave them, but they were nothing short of amazing and went above and beyond!! We definitely plan to use them for thank you cards and any other paper needs in our future. Also check out their adorable shop where I purchased some adorable stylish gifts.

Coqui Paperie & Gifts did an amazing job on all our paper needs for our wedding; they did your save the dates, invites, programs, place cards, thank you sign and thank you notes! Everything we purchased was high quality and look awesome! They did everything they could to accommodate to all our needs and worked with us through every step of the way! They went out of their way to make the perfect wedding accessories to match our venue and theme. They were reasonably priced, and really compared to all online stores that did the same services. I would recommend them to anyone looking for amazing products to really make your wedding stand out and make it your own! -

I got my invitations, programs for the ceremony, table numbers and a Bar list through Coqui. It was so easy to work with Elizabeth. She did an amazing job designing the invitations and took into consideration all the details I wanted. They turned out amazing and I got so many compliments. The items we had for the ceremony/reception were also beautiful. They gave everything a polished look. Coqui was very prompt about returning emails or getting into contact with me. All in all they do a great job and you will not be let down with their work. I will recommend Coqui to anyone I come across! -

We used Coqui for wedding invitations to my daughter's wedding in 2014. They were gorgeous and we received many positive compliments. We used them again for nvitations to a pre- wedding dinner for my son this past summer- again, just beautiful invitations. They had many great ideas and were very accomadating with some last minute do- overs we needed. I plan to use them next year again when my next child gets married. The shop is also very fun to browse in! -

The folks at Coqui were thorough, attentive, and really listened to what we wanted. I felt like the process was a collaboration, all options were laid out for us to choose. I had a very unusual design in mind but didn't know how to make it happen. At my consultation, the design professionals gave me great suggestions and made my unique idea a reality. I LOVED my invitations and to this day I still get complimented on how unique they are. I will definitely use them in the future! -

Elizabeth and Denise at Coqui Designs are amazing to work with. Elizabeth took the time to sit down with me and go through books and books of designs to see what my tastes were. I ended up choosing an original design made by her! When a mock up is ready, Elizabeth makes any adjustments that are needed promptly and efficiently. I had so many changes and she did them all without hesitation. She is also very knowledgeable in regards to wording. The save the dates and invitations I ordered turned out beautifully and I received tons of compliments! It was truly a pleasure to work with these ladies and I would definitely recommend their services :) -

We loved our invitations, placecards and programs. They were beautiful. The only thing I would suggest would be to use the tape and tape gun they provide. We used our own and they didn't stay together. I feel if we would've used the owns offered, we would've gotten a better product. Not Coqui's fault at all....100% our mistake. -

They worked very hard to help my daughter create the kind of wedding invitation she wanted. It was something they had never done before and this mother daughter team were willing to take on this creative challenge. They also did the order of worship for a Catholic wedding Mass. Coqui Design did my wedding invites back in 2006 and they are the best I have ever seen! I still get compliments on my invites this many years later! I was involved in the design process from the beginning to the end, with Elizabeth giving me feedback on what she thought would work the best for my needs. They have also done baby shower invites for a shower I hosted and everyone loved those as well! -

Coqui helped me design my dream wedding invitations! I received so many compliments on the unique vintage save the date postcards, trifold invites, programs, menus and table numbers. They were flexible with meeting times/locations and even able to come through on a few last minute requests. Meeting with the owner of Coqui was extremely helpful and she made our wedding invitations look absolutely beautiful and our style. We received so many compliments on them! I would use Coqui again for any event, but it is an investment. The owner, Elizabeth, was very responsive and she knows her paper. Overall, I had a great experience with Coqui Design, which is a mother daughter business. I found the quality and value to be phenomenol! I loved that I got an invitation that was unique for us. There was a lot of flexibility and options offered to us to get exactly what we wanted without breaking the bank. Although, at times I was a little dissatisfied with the responsiveness and communication, in the end I had a great product, which was delivered to my guests with more than adequate time prior to the wedding. -

We love the design of our invitations and Coqui Designs was lovely to work with. The one thing we wish we had was an option to expedite delivery since we had a time issue. -

Our invitations were absolutely beautiful but this company is extremely unorganized. If you plan to work with them, be prepared to check everything they send to you twice, maybe even three times. We had to correct mistakes on almost everything they proofed.
Additionally, their excuses for the mistakes they made is because they had other weddings going on at the same time and they were correcting other mistakes from brides, including a bride that spelled her fiance's name wrong! After all the mistakes we had to deal with, I doubt it was the brides fault that made the other mistakes -

I made an appointment to come by the office. The day of my appointment I had a call from Elizabeth saying the landlord at her office was doing some emergency work on all the units in the office space and she wanted to meet me at the same Starbucks we originally met at. I was very, very annoyed and wondered if Coqui Design even had an office, though I did see an address for an office now on their web page. I said fine but asked if we could meet at a more off-peak time so less people would be there and we could hopefully get a booth and some quiet. I got to Starbucks and the place was of course packed. No booths and we did find a small table by the bathrooms. I swear to God I just wanted my invitations and to be done with this young woman, but there had to be something else. She handed me the invitations in a nice little box, I opened and started looking at them. The paper felt nice and it was really what I had envisioned for announcing my special day. Then about half way into the invites, I saw three of them had something around the front side's edges, like a juice stain or blood but I'm guessing it was juice. She didn't know how that could have happened and apologized. We ordered too many invites anyway so 3 off the top was workable, though she didn't offer any discount which really churned my stomach. The last straw leading to me taking the time to write this lengthy review was the last 15 envelopes were messed up. We had paid extra to send Coqui Design our guest list by email so they could print the addresses on the envelopes in a style matching our invitations inside. The last 15 envelopes had their address printing going off the right side of the envelope. Like they were aligned right in the printer or something. I really wanted to throw these invitations in her face and go get some at Shutterfly or something but I didn't. But again she didn't offer any discount and when I asked for one, she hesitantly said she could credit me for the 18 mistakes back to my cre -

Be aware of fees added which were not previously discussed. Although I had talked earlier with sales clerk who had checked with the owner if I met with them the beginning of August to have church programs printed for an end of August wedding, they said they would have no problem getting them done by that time. After meeting with the sales person at Coqui Paperie, he also indicated no problem completing our order within 3 weeks. He never mentioned a rush fee of $50 because he felt there was no rush. But when the invoice was sent, the rush fee was included - a fee never mentioned by anyone prior to this time. I reluctantly agreed to the fee. The next day the program proofs were emailed to us and after a few corrections, we approved the program design. Later that afternoon, the salesman emailed that the programs were printed and ready for pick up! We didn't expect the programs for several weeks given how busy the owner said they were. I spoke with the owner and asked her to eliminate the rush fee since there didn't seem to be a rush when it was completed weeks before we needed the programs. Although she was very nervous she refused to refund the fee saying she needs to make money! The owner and sales staff need to give the same quotes or at least explain when an additional fee may be added. The owner was not professional or concerned about customer service. Everyone representing this business should know when additional fees will be assessed and properly communicate with customers so that there are no surprises. Be Aware! -

Entirely overpriced and completely unprofessional. This is a mother and daughter who run this and they do not communicate to one another. On top of that you have to continue reminding them of deadlines otherwise they will forget. For example, one time I came into the shop and I was asking them questions about my wedding which was three weeks away. They replied "When is your wedding again?" Mind you I had given them a ten month notice with deadlines of sending out invitations and misc agenda items that were never met in time. Oh and last but not least I can not tell you the number of revisions that were made as each time they sent me a "draft" someone's name was misspelled, typo, wrong address or name etc. Its always nice when your guests say "Ya, I am pretty sure you had the wrong spelling of my last name on the invitation, but thats ok."
