  Michael came highly recommended from literally everyone I spoke to from our venue to our florist to our videographer. And he did not disappoint. He's the very best! We were supposed to have a much larger event abroad but ended up having an intimate 15 person event in DC. If we do end up having a larger celebration when covid allows, you know I'll be reaching out to Michael!

  Simply the best photographer!

  Cannot say enough wonderful things about Michael and the team from Connor Studios. They were wonderful and captured our Wedding beautifully. The pictures are stunning – they exceeded all of our expectations. Neither my husband nor I like being photographed, but they made it easy. They listened to our requests and guided us in our photo lists so we got the pictures we wanted without a lot of wasted time or nonsense. The really captured the full vision for our day. Both my husband and I love the way the pictures turned out. If you chose to work with Connor Studios you will not be disappointed.

  Connor Studios was truly a wonderful addition to our wedding. Michael has an incredible eye for photographic artistry, as is evident on his website. He is calm, encouraging and has a good sense of humor and go-with-the-flow manner. His team blends in - rather than disrupts - the vibe. Michael stayed focused on getting the shots that would resonate most with the bride, groom, and families - in our case, candid, personal moments that reflected the mood, space, and people we value most. He kept us on schedule, but in a very gentle way. I also appreciated that he gave me a glimpse of a couple shots on his screen, in the moment, just to put me at ease. Could not recommend Connor Studios more highly.

  As I sit back and reflect on the most magical day of my life, I have to give credit where credit is due to Michael Connor and his team. We booked him for the full day (which I believe was 12 hours) and I don't think we would have had it any other way. We loved his style of photography and felt that it would fit wonderfully with our chic wedding at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC. Having shot there before, we knew that Michael would know just the right shots to get and he definitely got them. Worth every single penny and I know my husband and I will cherish these images for years to come!

  I am so happy that we worked with Michael and team for the photography for our August wedding at the Four Seasons! Michael is an incredibly talented photographer - we knew we did not want stiff, traditional portrait-style photos, but more artistic, live-action type photography. Michael certainly captured the entire feeling of our day - the photos are dynamic and beautiful. We will treasure them forever! He also knew all of the best locations at the Four Seasons for taking photos and captured the most incredible sunset shots. On top of being talented, Michael is kind, calm, and relaxed - key for having a great wedding day! Doing our photos with him and his team was fun and light-hearted. We loved working with Michael and team - I highly recommend working with Michael and team for your wedding, or any other event. We hope to work with him again in the future!

  Michael is a true artist. I was sick on my wedding weekend, and he and Lawrence were kind and thoughtful throughout. The images he captured are stunning and his photo albums are gorgeous as well.   Connor Studios was a great choice! Their skilled professionals are top notch. I was very pleased with my photographers Andrew and Kevin. I knew we were in good hands based on the wonderful photos I saw online. It was easy for me to really be "in the moment" and enjoy our day. I can't wait to see our pictures and wedding albums!

  We lucked out and were able to hire Connor Studios after our engagement photos with another vendor turned out to be a lower quality than I expected. For us, other than the guests at our wedding, we knew that the photos were a top priority to get right for the big day. We couldn't have been happier with the high-quality, professional service provided by Michael and his team. Even with some of the groomsmen who generally don't love having their pictures taken, Michael made them feel completely at ease. The results were amazing, and the photos are like memories from the day that we will always treasure.

  I couldn't recommend Michael any more! He is so nice & easy to work with. The pictures are AMAZING!! He is expensive but so worth it. One of my bridesmaids who is already married loves him and his pictures so much, she wishes she knew about him before their wedding. Michael was my favorite vendor and I cannot say enough good things about him. love!

  It was an absolute pleasure to work with Michael! He was always very quick to respond and his eye for photographer is amazing! We were so happy with our wedding photos and albums. It was unbelievable how quickly he was able to provide us with the pictures and albums.

  In the search for wedding vendors, I found choosing a photographer to be the most difficult—and not because there were too many good choices. At the time, my fiancé was deployed, so I was solo in each vendor meeting. Our photographer budget was flexible; we wanted to ensure we had beautiful photos to remember the special day. I grew frustrated as I went through the Washingtonian photographer list and found (in my opinion) pompous, socially awkward, non-costumer service oriented vendors.
  UNTIL, I met with Michael. He immediately made me feel comfortable and was so easy to talk to. Not to mention the fact that his albums are truly stunning! He was an easy choice. I actually cancelled the remaining photographer meetings and decided to go with my gut. I signed a contract with Michael about a year before our wedding. Throughout those months, I emailed him with random wedding questions—Suggest good DJs? Do groomsmen in suits photograph just as nicely as those in tuxes?—and he promptly answered each email. I love quick responses!! He always made me feel like I was a priority and he was there to help.
  The day of our wedding, Michael exceeded expectations. He arrived early and took amazing, amazing photos! His artistic eye is just incredible!!! He is so good, that sometimes I didn’t realize he was in the room. The pictures capture real moments and emotions. I’m in love with the photos and can’t wait to build the album!

  Michael Connor and Jonathan Newton from Connor Studios have got to be the best photographers near the Eastern Shore. Michael was fantastic to deal with and it was as though he knew exactly what pictures to take the day of our wedding. The memories that he captured (particularly of my and my mom's reaction during my dad's speech) were priceless. My husband and I loved them and they made us feel so comfortable the day of the wedding. Jonathan got shots of Stephen (my husband) and his groomsmen that were hilarious but perfect. Michael took pictures of my bridesmaids and I while we were getting ready and it really felt like he was one of the girls (sorry Michael, you know what I mean!). Great pictures and we are so excited to see our albums. My cousin is getting married in September and when her dad saw our pictures, he called them up immediately to see if they were available. If you are getting married in the Maryland area, you have to look up Connor Studios.

  Michael Connor and his associates are an absolute joy to work with. He did my sister's wedding photos and they are hands-down the best I've ever seen (though I know mine will be better... although she'd say I'm biased on that!). We haven't received our proofs yet (wedding was less than a week ago), but I have no doubt we will love the photos.
  
  I'm reviewing them ahead of time, because I want to make sure I don't forget (it all seems less important with each passing day - but I know the quality of his work, and feel it's vital to pass on this info!).
  
  Connor studios does amazing photos - you can look at the blog and see that easily. What you won't necessarily see there though, is how lovely Michael and his associates are to work with. They're patient, kind, helpful, unobtrusive, respectful of what are some very intimate and personal moments (such as the first moment my husband and I had alone together after the ceremony - and I say "alone" because even though I know either Michael or Johnathan was there taking photos, I couldn't tell you who or for how long!), and yes, they're a lot of fun!
  
  The photos and their service are expensive - the only thing we spent more on was probably the catering - but I promise you that it is worth it. The photos are the most beautiful souvenirs, and truly capture the moments that you want captured: the emotion, the love, the joy. I've never in my life seen wedding photos that are as deeply touching as the ones done by Connor Studios. You will not regret the investment - they are soooooooooo worth it!! :-)

  Michael Connor was such a pleasure to work with and truly an amazing photographer. On the day of the wedding he and his assistant were so fun to be around! Super easy going and relaxed- a quality I think is so important during the whirlwind which is a wedding day.
  
  Michael and his assistant were able to capture every single wedding moment! Looking through the pictures is like reliving the whole amazing day over and over again. There were so many pictures I looked at and said "I don't even remember him being there! How did he get this great shot?!" His photography is breathtaking- artistic, modern, and candid- which is my favorite part! He didn't need to make the beautiful pictures but rather found them as they naturally unfolded.

  Michael and Andrew were amazing..... He was quick on his feet and made sure he captured all the special moments from the firemans cake to my red slippers.....The photos turned out beautiful and everyone including the Post admired them.
  We were so glad to have them as part of our wedding. Michael even knew how to calm me down and make sure we were all happy on our wedding day!

  I could not have asked for a more professional, fun, laidback photography team. Their eye for detail and for catching the mood of the event was perfect!

  Michael and an assistant (Andrew) photographed my wedding day. They are the most amazing people, and the most amazing photographers. Instead of hearing how great we look, my husband and I first hear how fantastic the photos are, and then that we look good! They were there to capture every important moment, got shots that we didn't know how they got, and we hardly noticed that they were there! If you want photos that capture how special of a day it is that you will cherish for a lifetime, Connor Studios will provide just that.

  I liked many of the pictures that they captured from the wedding, although the group portrait pictures didn't come out as well as I had hoped. But they captured other scenes surprisingly well. I wish they had taken more pictures during the dinner because as we walked around to greet our guests, so many people jumped up to take pictures with their phones and it resulted in us not being able to see all our guests, which was very disappointing to me. This could have been resolved by advising guests that all pictures would be taken by the photographers, and I would have had a photographer following us around to save time, and to ensure that we got photos of everyone. A very friendly group of photographers, and very accommodating, but you need to tell them what you want, so make sure you know what kind of pictures you want, and be ready to direct them a little.....
  September 11 2017 - I'm adding to this review to upgrade them....I received my gorgeous wedding albums...it took a while to get them, but they were totally worth the wait, especially the main album for the bride and groom...the pictures were gorgeously toned and everything is just gorgeous in the final publication. Yes, I had hoped for some photo ops to be captured, but what was captured was beautiful, I'd hire them again!

  Connor Studios photographed our wedding, and although the photos are not back yet, working with his photographer Toni Sandys and Jonathan, was excellent! They made us feel at ease and it was fun. I thought it was a little expensive, but I'll let you know once the pictures come out - I know they will be gorgeous! Michael was also very easy to work with over the contract.
