I brought my wedding dress in about 2 months before my wedding. I was told that my wedding dress would take about a month to do the alterations, being the start of wedding season and prom season this is understandable. After the month went by I didn’t hear from them, I gave them a couple extra days to hear from them, nothing. I called them and they were on vacation and would be gone for a week. So, I called them when they got back from vacation and was told that I would get a call right back, 3 hours later was when I got my call back. They left a message on my phone saying my dress wasn’t done yet, but the work would be done in a week. I called them back to ask why the work wasn’t done, I was told them forgot about my dress and hadn’t started the work. To say that I was upset is an understatement. I understand you are very busy, but this is my wedding dress, have a better system for knowing when things need to be done. I go in on the day she said the dress would be done, it is not done. Half the work is not done. Maria tried to blame me for losing weight, I was still at the same weight as I was when I dropped the dress off over a month ago. Even if I did lose weight, what about the bustle not being done? She told me she would work on my dress that day and the next and then call me to let me know it was done. She never called me! I called her on the day it was supposed to be done, went in because I was told it was done, there were still needles in my dress! Finally she fixed the dress and it was finished for me to take it home. The work on the dress was good, but for the amount of money I spent on alterations, I feel the customer service should have been much better. Call people back when you say you are going to! And don’t over promise and underdeliver. I unfortunately will not return to Connie’s Bridal and I will not recommend to other people.
