When I met Connie at a Bridal fair and spoke to her for the first time, I knew instantly that I wanted to work with her. She is collaborative, flexible, and creative with her shots and is also so personable and friendly. She was so quick and thorough with answering any questions we had throughout the entire process, from our amazing engagement shoot in SF to our wedding day in San Ramon. Her photography really captured our love for one another, which is the most important thing at the end of the day and she went above and beyond for us to make sure we had all the shots that we wanted taken. She made us feel at ease on our big day and we could not have been happier with how all of our photos turned out! -

Connie was easy to work with and down to earth. She traveled all the way from Brentwood to Pacifica for our engagement photos and to Fremont for our wedding (and post wedding photos at the Care Home where my husband’s mother is at).
Because I am not a natural in front of the camera, I was concerned it would be kind of hopeless. But fear not, she was so creative in directing the posing and with nice variety, that you couldn’t tell at all!
We were so thrilled with how the photos turned out, pricelessly capturing moments to be remembered, facial expressions and movement. The quality of work we saw on her website was true to how our finished product was. I must say, we were incredibly amazed at Connie’s use of light. Truly an artist, and she loves what she does. The photo box was way nicer and elevated than I imagined, with a beautiful photo on the front and one on the back.
Her work is exceptional, standing out above the others, and would like to let everyone discover this treasure like we did!

Cannot recommend Connie enough!
I cannot stop raving about Connie! An absolute gem of a find, I’m still getting compliments from guests about save the dates I sent out over a year ago using one of our engagement photos. She listened to what we wanted, but also is so creative and came up with great ideas, took the time to really get to know us, and coached us through the engagement session/made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. By the time our wedding rolled around, we were so grateful we had already worked with Connie – it felt like hanging out with a good friend on our wedding day! Prices are very reasonable for the Bay Area, but don’t be fooled – you are NOT compromising on quality! -

Great experience with Connie
The whole wedding planning process is so stressful. Making sure you find the right vendors is important. Connie was really great to work with. She worked with my budget, took time to talk with me about any concerns and ideas. The day of the wedding she was there on time and ready take pictures. She delivered a great package of photos. I am trying to plan a family photo shoot and will probably have her shoot that as well .Connie Leal Photography's reply:

Best Wedding Choice!!!
I don't consider myself very photogenic but after seeing the wedding photos Connie took I feel like a model! She is extremely nice and professional.
She gave clear directions of what to do and where to look for elegant posses that felt natural. My husband and I both agree Connie was the best wedding decision we made! Her and her colleague took plenty of photos and gave us the best. It was hard to choose 80 of our favorites because we love so many. We have large families and she managed to capture everyone by being everywhere throughout the entire day. She got our best angles and captured all the special little moments too.
I am so grateful for such quality photos at a fair price! Oh and photos came with quick turnaround which is an added bonus!!! I can not recommend her enough.Connie Leal Photography's reply:

Connie is very friendly, fun and most of all a fantastic photographer. Connie photographed my son’s wedding and I love all the beautiful moments she captured. Here work is absolutely gorgeous!

Connie has been nothing but amazing. She was referred to us by our venue and when we met her, she just felt right for us. She was easy to talk to and very communicative. My husband and I aren’t one to get photos taken of us, so she made us very comfortable and she had captured the most beautiful moments during our wedding. We don't have enough words to describe how happy we are with working with Connie and her team. The whole experience - from our engagement session through the actual wedding day was so fun and easy that everything just went so smoothly and stress free! They are very punctual and the service is top notch! Not only is their work amazing, but their communication, professionalism and support is fantastic. They really made the day perfect. She also sent the pictures right away, less than 3 weeks after the wedding. Her work is soooo phenomenal that it was challenging to pick the pictures we wanted for our photo album. We loved and want them all! I cannot thank them enough and will surely recommend and hire them for any future phone needs. Thank you again Connie! -

She provided us guidance throughout our engagement and wedding (as we didn’t know quite what to expect), and really took the time to understand our needs. For example, we wanted a warm setting for our engagement photo session, and Connie took perfect pictures capturing the light and our best sides! On the day of the wedding, her experience and organization allowed us to enjoy the day without worrying about special moments not being captured. She was very flexible to accommodate our requests and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We recently got our pictures and album, and absolutely love the end result. If you’re looking for an amazing photographer, Connie is the one! You won’t be disappointed and we will cherish our pictures for a lifetime.

She totally captured everything we wanted in our pictures. Not to mention she is a lighting queen, the lighting in all our pictures is breath taking. Kimberly Sent on 06/05/2011If there was any way I could give Connie more stars, I would! Especially for the Value for Cost. It's inevitable that when getting married that you will pay a lot of money for a good photographer. If you are going to spend that kind of money, make sure you choose a great photographer. Connie should be at the top of your list!!
Although we haven't received our wedding pictures yet, she did an absolutely AMAZING job with our engagement pictures and I assume the wedding pictures will be just as amazing, if not better. Both Connie and her second shooter were with us pretty much all day and night. She's professional, flexible and very patient. She captured as many shots as she possibly could during the hour we had between our ceremony and reception.
I would absolutely recommend Connie Leal Photographer to anyone who asks. I guarantee that you will be happy with the results!! -

Jeannene Sent on 04/13/2011I first met Connie Leal about a year before my wedding date at a Bridal Fair. At first I thought it would be great to use her as our photographer because she already worked with the location we were getting married at, but as I started looking at the pictures she had with her, it was obvious she knew exactly when she needed to be close to capture every moment of your special day! Our venue fell through 2 weeks before our wedding and Connie was right there to help me figure it out and was able to make all the changes necessary on her end to make it still happen! She is down to earth, easy going and very friendly! Today, almost a year later, Connie and I still keep in touch and the pictures she took of our special day still bring tears to my eyes when I look at them! The best part of it all is I am still getting compliments about my wedding pictures from family and friends!!! If you are looking for a wedding photographer or a photographer for any event/occasion, I would definitely suggest that you either use Connie Leal or at least look at her work before you decide! I know my husband and I will definitely be using her again in the future!!!

As we continued to go forward in choosing Connie as our wedding day photographer we had occasional phone conversations, in which she was soft spoken and proved to be a good and supportive listener. For many months we only communicated through email or phone calls, as I was planning the wedding from a different state than where the wedding would be.
We met on the morning of my wedding day, and I still did not yet know what an asset I had in having Connie with me. The morning flew by with last minute details still needing to be solidified, a backed-up timeline, and a bride in distress due to a family melt down.
When we finally were able to speak face to face, I started to get to know how fun, kind, and compassionate she is. Connie went along with all of the chaos without missing a beat or making me feel poorly that I was running late. Instead she spoke reassuringly to me, and helped to smooth feathers where she could. She was a compassionate sounding board and made me feel so comforted, that I thought maybe I wasn’t the first bride whose wedding morning she had seen spiral out of control. She offered to go early to the place that we would be having our first look photos once she had helped to calm me down, since she and her assistant had traveled to photograph the wedding in an unfamiliar location. She never seemed to lack options and was very detail oriented, thorough, and creative without ever being intrusive. Connie has wonderful vision and was so talented at making my husband and I feel comfortable, attractive, and alone together, even though she and her assistant were getting pictures of nearly every moment. As many people told me before our wedding, the day will go by in a flash, just try to enjoy it and remember what you can. I believe because of how talented Connie is in being non-invasive and kind, she is able to be welcomed into the intimacy of a wedding day very easily. -

Nicole Sent on 08/23/2018I found Connie Leal Photography but looking through wedding websites and I stumbled upon some of her wedding photos done at the sister location to our selected wedding venue. The pictures were gorgeous and I also knew a few brides who used her and asked their opinions about her photography. They both had wonderful things to say about her so I decided to book an appointment with her to go over everything.
She was very friendly and easy to talk to! Her packages are incredibly priced compared to other local vendors. She also includes an engagement session and parent wedding albums which I thought was a huge plus. Our wedding was in January so she also gave me a "off season" discount which I truly appreciated.
Connie was extremely easy to work with and I sent her some of my photo visions and she was willing to give me everything I was looking for. One the day of the wedding she arrived on time with the 2nd photographer and took amazing photos that I will cherish forever. She guided our group and was able to give direction and has a great eye for wedding photography.
I am very happy I decided to go with Connie! She returned our wedding photos in a timely fashion and took over 2,000 photos. My wedding album is so beautiful!!! I would highly recommend Connie Leal Photography for the quality, affordability as well as the care she puts into her work. -
