Amazing Experience

I cannot say enough good things about Conner Catering. Without a doubt, this was the best choice we made. During the entire process, Don and Taylor were amazing. When we first toured the Old Mill and met with Don, he was very helpful. My family has very little experience planning weddings, so he helped guide us. After we booked, Taylor and Don were great with details and giving us suggestions. Without their expertise, the wedding would not have gone as well as it did.

The day of the wedding, things got a little messed up because 95 was shut down-- delaying the wedding party 1.5 hours. Don was very flexible and made sure everything was okay to extend an hour.

The food was AMAZING. We received so many compliments about the food. During the process, we were worried about staying under budget for food, but still having a tasty meal. Don was very aware of our budget and made sure we got the best possible meal. Everything is very customizable, so you do not sacrifice quality at all.

Without a doubt, this was the best choice we made and are so grateful to Conner Catering! Amazing food and an amazing team!

Wonderful !!

I really can’t say enough about Conner Catering! The staff and food was amazing. They made everything so easy for us and really listened to what we wanted. Had a little mishap(things happen) and they handled it immediately and really listened to us. We did a family style meal and everyone loved it ! The manager of the wait staff was phenomenal! I believe his name was Ralph. And Donald, the owner and coordinator literally handled everything for us!

The Conner Team is a Dream!

The Conner Team was great! Don worked with us from the very beginning to capture the vibe we wanted for our wedding. Don was so easy to work with, and obviously knew what he was doing. He was able to talk us through all the little things you might not think about with planning, but also really listened to what we wanted and helped us make it all possible. The behind the scenes team was great with quick email responses and INCREDIBLE food!!!! I would recommend Conner Catering (and the Old Mill) to anyone!

Dream wedding!

When I was searching for venues for my wedding I came across The Old Mill, Rose Valley. My husband and I instantly fell in love with it and met with Conner Catering to start planning! Donald met with me multiple times to go over what we wanted for our wedding as far as food, setup, drinks, and timeline. They are very responsive, accommodating, and flexible. They handled everything perfectly after giving them my vision. The food was AMAZING! We loved how fun and unique the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were and they were so delicious! The desserts were also amazing and set up so nicely! Our guests raved about the food to us! I would highly recommend hiring Conner Catering to cater your wedding! Especially at The Old Mill, Rose Valley!

Conner Catering is amazing and very professional

From the very start, Donald and Conner Catering were very professional. The Old Mill provides a rustic, natural wedding space and Conner Catering was there for us every step of the way. We can’t thank them enough for all of the quick communication and answers when needed. Whenever we wanted to meet with Conner Catering, they made themselves readily available. Conner Catering knows their venue and this business inside and out and pays particular attention to all details. They were more than willing to work with us on our specific requests and needs to make the day great for ourselves, friends and family! The kitchen, serving staff, and bar tenders were all so kind to our guests and went out of their way to help us celebrate on our day. We are still hearing from friends and family about how beautiful the venue is, how amazing the food was and how kind and professional the staff were. The catering manager, Christine, was amazing as well and made sure everything was perfect. During the week of our wedding, the forecast called for rain on our wedding day. Donald was so responsive and helpful. He guided us through every step even when we had to change plans back and forth a few times to accommodate the weather. It truly was an amazing day and we couldn’t be happier that we chose the Old Mill for our wedding.

The food and service were impeccable. Everyone loved everything!!

Don and his team were professional and accommodating. There was more food than we could have eaten at 2 weddings!! And it was all more than fantastic!! We would highly recommend Conner Catering for any event!!

We loved the Conner Catering team!

The Conner Catering team did an amazing job with our August 2021 wedding at the Old Mill. First, the food was DELICIOUS. We still have family members talking about how delicious the food was at our wedding. Also, both my wife and I are vegetarians, and we really appreciate how accommodating they were to our needs and the dietary restrictions of our guests. Second, Don and his team were smooth to work with and we appreciated their directness and honesty as we planned our wedding. Third, the venue itself was absolutely stunning and everything we could have wished for. Sending our thanks to the Conner Catering team for all their hard work on our wedding day! Absolutely Incredible at The Old Mill!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful Connor Catering is. Don and his team went above and beyond to help us with our postponement (due to COVID) and wedding. Don and his team were extremely responsive in always meeting with us to discuss the changing guidelines with COVID. Don and his team created a wonderful array of food items for our wedding.Our guests could not stop raving about the food and presentation of the food. Don and his team truly were incredible and we had the wedding of our dreams at the Old Mill. If you are looking for a unique venue in which you can make your own, then this is the perfect wedding location for you! I would highly recommend this venue and caterer to anyone looking to host a wedding or special event!

The Perfect Day

Where can I even begin? Conner Catering was amazing from start to finish. Every single detail was exactly as we imagined it, and the food was spectacular. Each appetizer was delicious, and the food at dinner was spectacular. So many guests commented on how good everything was. Even the last table to be served shared that their food was still hot when it came out and that the staff checked in with them multiple times to make sure everything was good. Honestly, I am over the moon thrilled with Conner Catering! Words can’t do the experience justice!

The Best Wedding Dinner Ever

The food for the event was PHENOMENAL. Everything from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts were so delicious. Everyone could not stop complimenting the food. We were so happy with our choice. The wedding cake was gorgeous and actually tasted good!

Dream Wedding - COVID changes and all!

The Old Mill and the Conner Catering Team were a dream to work with. When we originally booked with them two years prior, we had anticipated a larger wedding with nearly 250 guest. As COVID hit, they did everything in their power and within safety to ensure we were still able to have our special day. Although we cut our guest list back, made multiple changes to ensure our guests were safe, the team at the Old Mill were very responsive, flexible and quick to make sure we could have the wedding we dreamed of. The day of events went beautifully and smoothly, and the food was amazing! Its a night I will never forget.

Leading up to the big day, we did have several meetings with Don, who walked us through all our options and costs to ensure our budget was met. I do wish they had an online payment option, just as we live farther away and I always worry mailing checks- but at the end of the day it was no issue and any worry I had was answered right away with reassure or confirmation of being received! We also were able to stock the bar ourselves, which I personally really liked as we had exactly what we wanted available.

I highly recommend the Old Mill to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The staff were some of the nicest people I have met during a wedding, and they put up with my very loud, enthusiastic family with grace and professionalism. Not to mention the venue itself is nothing short of stunning! Thank you again to the Old Mill and Conner Catering!

Beautiful venue and amazing staff

The Old Mill and Conner Catering did an incredible job making our wedding day so special and memorable. After 2 date changes in 2020, they worked so hard to help us have the wedding we always wanted- from extra tents and outdoor dinner, safety protocols, professionalism, and a number of meetings, we had the best day. The Old Mill is a beautiful space and we can't say enough good things about Conner Catering's team and staff. Recommend 10/10 !

Amazing!!!

It was very easy to fall in love with the venue, but I have to admit that deep down the thing I was MOST excited for the wedding was the food options! The menu that the Conner Catering team has put together is like nothing i've ever seen before! We were lucky enough to attend a catering event in Marion Station last year and of the 15-20 catering companies who participated, Conner Catering blew the competition out of the water. I'd definitely consider myself a "meat and potatoes" kind of guy, but the diversity of the menu helped make the wedding feel like the special event that it was, and from philly cheesesteak eggrolls to fried goat cheese bites with vanilla-infused pear sauce, there was something to make everyone happy. The service was impeccable and even with all the covid rules and regulations, we never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe, and we were able to completely forget about all the chaos and enjoy our special day. There are already so many wonderful memories from our wedding but I can still close my eyes and taste the braised short ribs in a chili-chocolate demi-glace and the roasted tomato soup and grilled cheese hors d'oeuvres (I'm a grilled cheese connoisseur and it was the best I've ever had!) The food was legitimately the best I've ever had and the Conner Catering team made us feel like family! I cannot recommend them enough, and I'm already looking for reasons to have them cater future events!

Second time enjoying their hospitality

After attending my second wedding here, I finally asked the couple about the caterers. I thought they had shopped around forever trying to find the perfect company, but it turns out they come with the venue! The food was out of this world, and the whole night was orchestrated beautifully. I only grabbed a couple photos before I had to start eating stuff -- it was too good to waste time! Chocolate lobster tacos? Hell yeah!

The absolute best - & vegan friendly!

My husband and I got married this August (2020) at the Old Mill. I couldn't say enough how amazing our day was. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, and has a great alternate plan for inclement weather (the pavilion is GORGEOUS!). The food is just AMAZING -- I am vegan but my husband is not, so we had a mixture. Vegans and non vegans alike said all of the food was amazing! They even had vegan snacks waiting for me in the bridal suite. They definitely make their couples feel special!! The service staff was incredibly friendly and professional! They allow you to supply your own alcohol which helps you save some money too! We communicated mostly with Donald and Taylor. Donald is very detail-oriented and efficient - he made sure everything went smoothly and was great about talking through our options when we had to rework our original 130-guest wedding plan due to the pandemic. Taylor is super responsive and friendly -- I emailed her millions of questions and she was always so great and informative in her responses! Conner Catering put extensive care and effort into making our event safe amidst the pandemic. Our event was held completely outdoors aside from the restrooms (guests had to wear face coverings to go inside for the bathroom), masks and hand sanitizer were stationed throughout, and ceremony and reception seating was spaced at least 6 feet apart. We reduced our guest count to less than 50 people, and Conner was so flexible with all of our changes. I would not change a thing about our wedding experience, and we are so grateful to Conner Catering and the Old Mill for making our day so special!

Donald and his staff at Conner Catering were amazing. They were very helpful from start to finish. This was our first wedding that we had to plan so we had plenty of questions which they answered with ease, The paperwork and contract was very professional and easy to follow. Meeting with Donald to discuss food options was also very simple. He offered his suggestions and the final result was a wedding everyone loved hor devours that were amazing and a meal that was delicious. My Husband & I were married at the stunning Merion Tribute House; from their exclusive catering list we choose Conner Catering (a FULL service, family owned catering company) definitely a wise and smart decision, we could not have been happier.
Elegant environment, phenomenal food plus impeccable service equaled money well spent.
Conner Catering specializes in various types of reasonably priced cuisine.
My Husband and I were ok picking appetizers on our own (smile) but when it came to selecting our main dish for the evening, we were truly indecisive and in need of help.
We worked closely with Donald, who knows this trade well and exhibits great culinary talent.
He did a wonderful job helping us customize our reception menu. I must admit we did not have a tasting in advance of the wedding, but we did not need one, we received numerous compliments, guest raved about how FRESH and DELICIOUS the food was.

Many were definitely impressed with the grand selection of hors d'oeuvres (we had twelve total! some hot, some cold) during our amazing cocktail hour and the generous food portions (guest received both flounder stuffed with crab meat and boneless chicken breast stuffed with roasted red peppers, sweet plum tomatoes and sauteed spinach, so savory!!) given during our elegant dinner. Besides the food being a hit our guest sincerely appreciated two different bar stations being set up (non alcohol and alcoholic) and admired the personal touches given to both. Kudos to the bartenders our guest enjoyed you!

Ladies, Donald understands that our Wedding Day is more than just a day!!!! He was super helpful, assisting us as we created the wedding day timeline.......providing options, alternate scenarios and feedback, even teaming up with our venue making sure our day was successful.

We PRAISE GOD for Donald and his staff; EVERYONE was wonderful, very professional & accommodating, we are beyond grateful for their awesome service and assuring our wedding day would be fabulous and a fun experience for us and our guest. We would recommend them in an instant!!

What A Day!!

When I tell you that Donald and his team did everything they possibly could to make our wedding day perfect, I am not exaggerating! He patiently answered my questions (all 3,000 of them) during the whole process. He was very hands on with tons of helpful advice! He really knows his stuff and his suggestions helped to make our day amazing!!
The venue at the Old Mill is just beautiful!! Donald got new pieces for the center of our stationary hors'd' oeuvres, the floor was freshly painted, and the inside reception area came to life once the place settings were put in place!!
Since we made the centerpieces and all the decorations ourselves, Donald was very accommodating, allowing us to enter early and set up. It was so hot that day, that he even moved one bar inside to help our guests feel comfortable and beat the heat. His staff was on the ball and very kind, pleasant, and helpful to all of our guests.
In addition to the above, the review wouldn't be complete if I didn't mention the food. Oh my gosh!!! Mouthwatering deliciousness!!! We had filet and chicken oscar and our guests RAVED about how fantastic that food was!! The meat was so tender, the crab delicious, and the plates of our guests
empty! That really topped off the evening before the dancing began!
I cannot thank Donald and his team enough for helping to make our day everything we dreamed of and more! We waited a long time for this day to become a reality and I couldn't have picked a better venue or caterer to make that happen!

Great experience at The Old Mill

I'm so happy we got to have our wedding at The Old Mill. It was exactly what I was looking for in terms of aesthetics. We worked with Donald, who was great. He knew this venue was at the top of our budget, so he worked with us on ways to cut down the catering costs so it could work for us. He also helped us as the day got closer to make sure we had everything in order. He was responsive each time we have him a call. We also got to set up the Friday before our Saturday wedding (since there was no other event that night), which was a total life saver!

We had our ceremony in the meadow (luckily the weather cooperated), cocktail hour in the pavilion/courtyard, and reception in the ballroom - everything was so beautiful! Also, all of the food was so tasty! One of the staff managers, Lena, personally brought us a sampler of all of our appetizers during cocktail hour because she knew the bride and groom don't really get to eat - it was so sweet!

Professional staffs, top-notch foods

Catering takes up substantial portion at your wedding, and you definitely want to make sure it is perfectly set up. When I first walked in for open house event at Merion Tribute House, I was very impressed by hors d'oeuvre presented by Conner Catering. Not only they have the best presentation of plates, but also they offer such a variety of hors d'oeuvre menu selections without any extra charge. This made us to have a wide selection of foods without having to go through buffet option.

In addition to their amazing presentation of foods, professional staffs, clean working environments, I personally loved to have Donald Conner to be our caterer because he helped us a lot to narrow down the wedding details. He gave honest opinions and a lot of suggestions when we needed based on his years of experience in the wedding industry.

At our wedding, we heard many and many compliments from guests that they enjoyed time at the cocktail hour and reception. The quality of foods were very good as they promised, and we were very satisfied with Conner Catering. It was such a pleasure working with them, and if we ever have to go back in time, we will choose exactly the same menu and everything as we did at our wedding. Special thanks to Conner Catering for making our wedding the happiest place on earth.

Excellent Service!

Overall, we were pleased with Don and his team as they helped me put on my dream wedding at the stunning Old Mill in Rose Valley. Taylor was also extremely responsive throughout my year of planning, which I genuinely appreciated.

On the day, our guests enjoyed everything: the food, service and venue. Originally we planned to have our ceremony outside but the weather was poor so Don help us move everything to the Pavilion which worked out even better. And if there was ever a problem, a solution was quickly proposed by Don. Thank you so much for your excellent service and sense of humor.

Conner Catering made our wedding day at The Old Mill something we will never forget. It was simply everything we had ever hoped for for our wedding day. Donald and Taylor were so great to work with in the months leading up to our big day and really held our hands throughout the entire planning phase of the wedding. Anytime we had a question, and believe me there were many, they were right there to assist. My husband and I are so very happy with our decision to use conner catering. Our family was blessed to have two weddings within 6 months and after the first wedding at The Old Mill with Conner Catering we immediately booked them for the second second wedding at The Merion Tribute House. As the one planning and executing the entire wedding - and the mother of the groom - Don Conner was my most valued partner. His suggestions, guidance, and flare for the exceptional made these two weddings spectacular events. No matter what I came up with - Don was game to help me make it happen. Don created fabulous menus that needed be be very distinct from each other. The food looked beautiful and more importantly, is still being talked about amongst friends. My wife and I got married at The Old Mill in June, and the Conner Catering staff gave us an incredible experience. I honestly didn't think we'd be able to find a space that beautiful within our budget, but Don Conner sat down with us and told us exactly what we could get within our budget and explained all the costs. This is such a rare gift! We so appreciated his upfront and calm approach to wedding planning - it put us totally at ease.

Don was also pretty responsive over text and flexible. He also accommodated some last minute changes with no problems. And that's not even getting into the gorgeousness of the venue or how great the food was. The guests went crazy over the appetizers and the ice cream bar. The best thing about it was we had so many food options--if you pick this company, you'll have such a variety of food and dessert to choose from.

Conner Catering is the opposite of the wedding "package." You can tell that every wedding is individual and unique to the couple. We knew we'd get a beautiful day, but it was even more than that.

My family, friends and I cannot stop talking about the amazing reception my daughter and son-in-law had at the Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA. Donald Conner, Conner Catering and their staff were outstanding! From the friendly staff and the great bartenders to the unbelievable delicious food served – WOW – what a night! My family cannot thank them enough for ALL they did to make my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding day incredible.

I also want to give an extra special thank you to the head of the staff. She went above and beyond…..including when she saw the bride, groom, maid of honor and me (mother of bride) go into the bride’s room she came in immediately with two plates full of appetizers…..I was very impressed. She is extremely attentive and she definitely made the evening go smoothly and efficiently.

And last but certainly not least – a huge thank you to DON! It was a pleasure working with him. His expertise in finding out what my daughter and son-in-law wanted and then delivering it was very much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Don for his calmness in answering all of our texts, emails and telephone calls….some of them frantic….right up until the last minute.

The Old Mill is a hidden gem that can be found in the luscious woods of Rose Valley that simply has a charm to it like no other. I was married there in the summer with the hope of a wedding theme of Celtic-Woodland, and the venue itself looks something out of a fairytale. It is cost-efficient, incredibly beautiful on the inside and out, and is manned by the most talented group of caterers I have ever met. Conner Catering and the team at The Old Mill helped bring my elaborate theme to life and my 200 guests left feeling satisfied, happy, and in wonder at how they had never heard of this place before. As a bride, the Old Mill is incredible, but I also have a unique perspective on the caterers and the venue itself because I am also a wedding photographer. The caterers and their staff treat you like family...sophisticated family...and are prepared to wait on you hand and foot and make sure everything goes the way it should. I am greatly appreciative to Don, Taylor, Jeanne, and the entire Conner Team for their incredible hard work and their willingness to put up with one detail-crazy photographer/bride. THANK YOU!

My Fiance and I just toured The Old Mill, one of conner catering's venues, this past week and fell in love. We met with Don Conner for our tour and had an all around wonderful experience. He was friendly, had a great sense of humor and made us feel completely at ease during the tour. We are terribly disappointed that the old mill did not have any Saturdays (except one) open for 2018 or else we would have booked it on the spot. We did however love Don and his whole approach to event planning and are now looking at other venues in which he works. We highly recommend this catering company off of our first impression alone!

We are still on cloud nine from our magical wedding at The Old Mill. Donald was extremely professional and so helpful in the planning process to both me and my Mom answering all of our questions along the way. SO many of our guests commented on how delicious all the food was! Every single person on the staff worked so hard to make our day special and we really felt that. Don and his staff are simply amazing - the whole experience from first contact to the final bite was terrific - my groom and I were so happy with how well we were treated, how much our concerns were attended to, the clarity of communication, and of course - the quality of the incredible food. We had a brunch reception with a varied menu that our guests raved over. The staff the day of our wedding was professional and smooth and so easy to work with. We are very glad we worked with Conner Catering and highly, highly recommend them.

Our daughter got married at the Old Mill on June 9, 2017.. Don and his staff are exceptional and made everything so easy. From the beginning, Don assured us that we would be in good hands and from every email to the actual event, he was right there. His staff was so professional and super nice and the wedding was just so wonderful.. We had our wedding at the Old Mill on 5/21/2017 and it was everything I ever wanted it to be and more! A co-worker actually recommended the Old Mill to me and thank God he did. I went to A LOT of venues before choosing the Old Mill. Don and his team were absolutely a pleasure to work with. He was very relaxed and accommodating. Whenever we needed to discuss something with him, we would just text Don and he was very responsive. His team was super organized and we got to interact with quite a few of them, which I really enjoyed. We had a pretty large wedding (approximately 200 people) and they still managed to make everyone happy. Everyone raved about how great the food and venue were. Great food, great venue, great staff, great value. I would choose Conner Catering and the Old Mill all over again!

We had our wedding at The Old Mill with Conner Catering and are still in awe at how magical our wedding day was. The staff was so accommodating, polite and went out of their way to make sure that each and every one of our guests had all of their needs met. The food was simply incredible. We had read review after review saying how good the food was and we were not disappointed. We still have guests telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The planning process was easy and stress-free and we really did get to create the perfect wedding that spoke so perfectly to who we are as a couple. We were over the moon happy with our choice to have our wedding with Conner Catering at The Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA! The planning process was so easy, Don and Conner Catering really work with you to provide a menu that fits in your budget, I could not believe the wedding we were able to have within our budget. Don and his team were so flexible and accommodating and got back to us on any questions we had so quickly. Don is so charismatic and passionate about what he does, he was an absolute pleasure to work with and he is so knowledgeable- he brought up so many things we may not have thought of until later in the process which really helped keep stress levels down as the wedding day got closer! We were overwhelmed with the compliments we got from our guests not only on the venue’s beauty and the food (seriously SO good), but on the staff as well which made me really happy to hear that our guests got such good treatment they went out of their way to tell us about it! Lena was a staff member who helped us out a lot during the day and made sure we had plenty of apps and drinks throughout pictures and cocktail hour- she was absolutely fabulous looking out for us! I really felt that Conner Catering went way above and beyond to make our day perfect and I could not recommend them enough to anyone- I really can’t fully put into words how grateful I am to them for all they did for us.

We cannot say enough good things about choosing to have our wedding reception catered by Conner Catering! The food was absolutely amazing and many guests have told us that it was the best food they have had at a wedding! Don and his staff did a wonderful job with everything from the cocktail hour to the dinner and yummy ice cream sundae bar! We loved how Don worked with us to create a menu was the unique to us and he provided suggestions based on our vision for the day. The family style dinner was a huge hit and everyone had more than enough food. We would recommend Conner Catering to anyone looking for a caterer for their big day!

Love, love, love, love, love this business! Donald is an amazing businessman and knows weddings very well. Whenever I was panicking or didn't know the answer to something, he answered right away and made me feel better. When the wedding day was closer, he will answer your questions no matter what. Whether it be on his phone through text or phone call, email, or even in person, he will be there! He always made time for you and gave fantastic advice.

All of our guests LOVED his food. Everyone thought it was amazing and left full. We didn't use them for our cake, but they had no problem serving what we had and made the whole event beautiful. I am so happy we went with Donald and I would implore any confused bride to pick this caterer. He will make your day amazing and help you every step of the way.

Donald Conner and the rest of the Conner Catering team made our wedding day dreams a reality. Donald was incredibly easy to work with, very quick to respond and attentive to all of our needs. We absolutely loved how personal the planning process was and the way that Don accommodated all of our crazy requests to make our wedding one that just screamed "us." Don helped us worked within our budget and never once made us feel like we couldn't have a top-notch, unforgettable wedding on the budget we were on. Besides the great experience with planning the big day, our actual wedding day was incredible. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Our friends and family were blown away by the venue, the food, the service, everything. While we didn't do a wedding, we did an event for eighty friends and neighbors, which went exceedingly well. Don and his staff were thoroughly professional and immediately responsive. From our first meeting, until the last guest left, Donald and Jeanne Connor and staff were extremely helpful in make sure our son and future daughter-in law's engagement party was not only beautiful but memorable for all in attendance. Conner Catering is THE best! Staff helped us create a seasonal, local, and colorful menu that appealed to all guests. I feel confident saying this as the bride who is a vegetarian and "foodie." :)

Donald and his team couldn't have made our wedding day any more special. From the beginning, he was easy to work with, very flexible with meetings/phone calls, and responded to my texts/emails/calls in a very timely manner. He clearly does this day in and day out, because he was right about everything (timing, number of people, spacing issues, etc). MANY of our guests have said it was the best wedding food they've ever had (I always think that is weird when people write that in reviews, but it really was true. So many of our friends, fam, and parents' friends have commented on how delicious everything tasted). What I really loved about Donald was his honesty. If he didn't think something would workout best for US and OUR day, he spoke up. He was honest and was very helpful in commenting about things not necessarily in his specialty (we had issues with our florist and he helped comment on the sizing of our centerpieces since we chose to do a family style dinner). I can't really recommend Conner Catering anymore. Oh, and they are VERY reasonable. I mean, really really really affordable, especially for the quality and the amount of food they serve. He was so great. Donald, Frank and I, and our families couldn't have been happier with how things turned out! Thanks again!

The Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA provided the perfect space for my vows and reception. I did all the event planning without a wedding planner, but when I was unsure of steps Donald Conner was available to help me fill in the blanks. I originally wanted the ceremony outside so the guests could see the beauty that surrounds the Old Mill but the fall temperature would not allow it. Don quickly changed the space around for the ceremony to be indoors. All the guests were very impressed at the food and service provided. Thank you for making my wedding such a memorable experience.

Don Conner and his entire staff were so amazing during the wedding planning process. Several times in the months leading up to the wedding I would text or email Don with a barrage of questions/concerns and, as if he knew I was having a meltdown, he would call and say exactly the right thing or have answers to each and every one of my questions.

It rained on my wedding day. Not rain as in a drizzle, rain as in a complete downpour, flash flood warnings, etc. I called Don at 11 am on my wedding day, panicking that the river next to The Old Mill (our venue) would overflow and my wedding would have to be cancelled. All day he kept me calm and assured me that my wedding was going to happen, although the outdoor ceremony we had planned for was probably not, and chairs were set up inside.

Well, five minutes before the ceremony was set to begin, the rain stopped. The sun came out, and Don got his staff outside in the courtyard with giant squeegees and fans and they dried off the courtyard and we had our outdoor ceremony!

Don was amazing, I could not have asked for anything more from him. Friendly, super nice, so helpful, and a great calming presence for an overwhelmed bride. And of course, his food was amazing. Definitely make sure to get the cheesesteak spring rolls for your cocktail hour.

We just had our wedding at The Old Mill on 06/07/14 and it was absolutely perfect. Don and his staff were very accommodating to every request we had. Don was great to work with and very detailed about everything and you can bounce any ideas or questions you have about things and he is very helpful. He made sure I was comfortable with every decision I made since I was indecisive about some food choices. The only thing we wish we could have done was a food tasting which they don't provide but all the food was delicious. The atmosphere the staff created with all of my things I dropped off looked wonderful. Lena the coordinator for the day was so helpful and took care of us making sure we ate during cocktail hour and dinner.

The entire thing was so beautiful, I would recommend them to anyone.

The staff was wonderful! I went there on the day of my wedding thinking I was going to be running around like crazy trying to everything ready. I found Conner Catering through my venue and checked them out on Wedding Wire. The reviews were all so positive, I figured I had to check them out. Donald has been in the wedding business for a long time, and he knows what he's talking about. He directed us through all of the large and small decisions, and offered advice all along the way. At times during the planning process he was a little difficult to reach (Note - phone is the best way!), which made me nervous leading up to our wedding day, if everything was going to come together. When we met to do the menu selections, he pulled out the looseleaf paper from the first time we met and were just throwing around ideas. I don't know why I worried, because Conner exceeded all of my expectations! The food was excellent and all of the guests were raving about how delicious everything was. At Donald's suggestion, we served dinner family style and it was a big hit. We had a few guests who were vegetarians and the salad had bacon. The staff put together special salads just for them! The staff was fabulous and I'd like to point out that Ashley, our Maître D, was incredible!! She took care of everything I could have needed. When we arrived, she and her staff took out the decorations and put everything just where I wanted it to be. I was so worried about having to do the decorating and they made it look beautiful! This is a great, family owned business, and I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Don and the rest of Conner Catering were absolutely wonderful from start to finish!! Upon meeting with Don, we knew right away that this was the venue for us. Not only is he completely honest and accommodating, he really strived to make the day everything we wanted to be and understood the vision we were going for. No creative ideas are out of the question and all questions were answered fully and in a timely manner!! At first we were a little bummed about the fact there are no tastings, however, the food was beyond DELICIOUS. Lena, the day of coordinator, was so sweet and accommodating the entire day, we just loved her! Thank you to everyone at Conner Catering at the Old Mill for making our wedding day such a wonderful day to remember!

Our family and friends can not stop raving about the fabulous time they had at our daughter's wedding that was catered by Donald Conner at The Old Mill in Rose Valley! Having had our older daughter's reception there nine years ago, we were confident that our experience would be just as wonderful and memorable. From all the planning to the actual day, this time, Conner Caterers even exceeded our expections! Every request was met, and all suggestions regarding the menu, the venue, and other vendors were greatly appreciated. On the day of the wedding, we were greeted with a welcoming atmosphere in which we enjoyed a delicious menu along with all the other festivities. We could not have been more pleased with the attention to detail and care provided by Donald and his courteous staff. They certainly were able to accommodate every need of a new bride and her happy parents. We definitely had a perfect day, and would recommend Conner Caterers for any upcoming occasion.

Catering is by far the most important part of a wedding, because it impacts so any areas. Clearly, it's important to have someone involved who knows what they are doing. They need to have good taste, a vision, and ability to deliver under pressure. So who would be better suited for this than Conner Catering, not many?

The first time we met Donald (Owner & Operator), we knew our wedding was in good hands. We got down to business quickly, and started in a very thorough way, nailing down every component of the wedding from colors, to styles, lighting, etc. On top of that, he was extremely patient with my wife, as she has a tendency to change her mind A LOT before landing on a final decision! I will mention that Donald stays relatively quiet until very close to the event, but I actually think it's by design, because he is so talented at what he does, he doesn't want you to be worried about anything and handles all of the fine details behind the scenes. We can say with 100% confidence that our wedding day could not have gone any better than it did, and this was made possible by Conner Catering and their flawless delivery.

The intimacy they created for our ceremony at The Old Mill will never be forgotten, and all of our guests kept telling us how beautiful it was. When it came time for the reception, Donald made his true expertise seen as an accomplished chef. The food was out of this world, which I think is taken for granted, as many weddings I have been to are a bit lacking in this area. From the hors d'oeuvre, to the main course, to the ice cream station, it was all spectacular.

Thank you Conner Catering for making our wedding so exceptional, it really leaves us speechless thinking of ways to describe the excellence you achieved. You played an integral part in making the wedding of our dreams.

We cannot thank you guys enough for all you did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the food to the professional staff, we couldn't have been happier! We are still smiling!

We chose to get married on 11/8/13 in the stunning courtyard with the faux ceiling and stone arches. It was BEAUTIFUL, but, a little chilly. Without asking, Jeanne and Don put a cute little cart filled with hot apple cider and ginger snaps by the entrance to the venue. Our guests LOVED it! They also went around to our guests with special dietary needs and prepared special meals for them. Our niece and nephews even got chicken fingers and fries - they were in heaven!

The bar staff was fabulous and the service was impeccable! Lena, Mike and Dion especially stood out. But, everyone was outstanding (I just couldn't remember all of their names).

The bamboo garden was a HUGE hit with the family and photographer. Cocktail hour, under the tent, was decorated beautifully. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the appetizers. And, the portions were incredible! They went in for dinner and didn't realize they were getting more food!

We seriously cannot thank you enough for making our day perfect. Bravo to The Old Mill, Conner Catering, Fresh Florist Designs and Doughmain Bakery! But, especially to Jeanne and Don Conner.

My venue did not come with an exclusive caterer, so we had the freedom to choose on our own. Donald responded within ten minutes to my initial email inquiry about availability and pricing. That was a great indication to me of how easy he would be to work with, and he did not disappoint. He was always available to us and patient with any changes I made along the way. I was impressed by the number of options he presented for hor d’oeuvres, entrée, and dessert, and at one point when I asked to make a change to the menu, he even came up with additional menu options that would keep us within our original budget. The day of the wedding everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests complimented the food all evening long; I only wish I had gotten to eat more of it that night! I highly recommend working with Conner catering!

Where can I even begin? Our day was beyond anything we could imagine and it was mostly due to Conner Catering and their team at the Old Mill. When we began to looking for venues, the Old Mill was one of the first to come up and from taking a look on their website, it became one of my top choices. We were looking to have a romantic & rustic theme with an outdoor ceremony and the Old Mill seemed like the perfect place. Pictures don't really do this place justice! You have to go in person to see how beautiful and magical this place is!

Donald was really knowledgeable and professional, no complaints there. He was very focused on what we wanted to do and didn't try to push us into anything we were not comfortable with. He had a lot of options available for the venue and it gives you room to put your vision together. We told him our budget and he gave us options for catering within that range. His menu is super extensive and has a lot to choose from!

We had no issues throughout the process and if we had questions, Donald responded fairly quickly! Now, onto the food...it was delicious! From the hors d'oeuvres to the main courses, everything was so good! We opted for family style and really, there was so much food. Our guests commented on how good the food was! We also provided our own alcohol which in the long run helped cut down our costs some and gave us some control at what was served.

Overall, our wedding was amazing and a big part was due to Conner Catering and how wonderful Donald and his team were! If you're looking for a beautiful venue and great food, I would recommend the Old Mill and Conner Catering!

Donald and his team at Conner Catering were absolutely wonderful! Don and his staff did an amazing job for our wedding reception at the Old Mill. From the first day we met with Don just when we were looking at the venue, he was very straight-forward with us. Once working with him, he was great working within our budget. He also recommended photographers, DJs, and florist that were within our price range. We were also able to bounce ideas off of him for decorating and he gave us his honest opinion on whether or not that would work within the venue. As a result, our vision for the wedding totally came to life and we could not have been more pleased. Our guests raved about the wedding, from the uniqueness of the venue, the professionalism of the staff, the variety and quality of the appitizers and the food, as well as the surprises such as the smore's bar. You should definitely consider them for your catering needs.

Our wedding at the Old Mill was absolutely flawless. The food was amazing and the Conner Team executed everything seamlessly. Don was the major contact person and he was quick with responses. His ideas were all helpful and you can tell he has been doing this for a long time! He helped to plan every detail of the day. It rained the whole day so the ceronu has to be moved indoors, but the contingency plan was solid. Many of the guests told us they had no idea that it was even supposed to be outside because everything went so well. I highly recownd Conner Catering to all future brides!

Conner Catering and their event staff were incredible for our wedding at The Old Mill! We were planning from out of state and we had a great experience working with Don. He was helpful and made recommendations based on his experience but still gave us a lot of flexibility. This is not a cookie cutter package and we loved that! The food was outstanding and the staff was extremely professional, going above and beyond to make sure they were one step ahead of us on our wedding day. We did not have to worry about a thing. Our wedding was perfect and we highly recommend Conner Catering!

From our initial meeting with Don until desert and cordials were served at our wedding, Conner Catering was first class in all categories. Donald was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. From meetings in the evenings, to texts and phone calls just to make sure I was comfortable with the plan. Donald is a true seasoned hospitality pro! We were so fortunate to have the Conner Catering team by our side! The day of the wedding could not have gone more smoothly, and I thank Conner Catering a million times over for that. We are still getting compliments on the food - especially the hors d'oeuvres! Don at Conner Catering knows how to design a reception perfectly for the unique needs and interests of the bride and groom. He spent time with my daughter and son-in-law discussing the many options, he professionally presented his suggestions, and he made her ideas and preferences work beautifully.

I received so many comments about the outstanding family style dinner, the courteous and professional staff, and the beautiful ambience of the Old Mill.

We had our wedding at the GORGOUS Old Mill in Rose Valley Pa on August 18, 2012. Conner Catering is the exclusive caterer for the Old Mill. Donald and his staff were amazing! Donald was such a valuable resource during the entire planning process. I was able to really customize our wedding from the chair choices and linens to the endless food and dessert options. Donald really listened to my ideas and gave suggestions to make sure everything worked perfectly together. Not only was the food out of this world (our guests are still talking about it) but Jeanne Conner and Leena made sure that every one of my little details was executed beautifully. They were amazing! My very dear friends were the florists for the wedding and were so impressed by the staff’s attention to detail, willingness to help, and over all professionalism. The day was flawless! Our guests continue to talk about the amazing time they had at our wedding. Conner Catering is more than just a catering company that serves up delicious food. Conner Catering made my dream wedding a reality! We searched for a unique place-rustic and possibly outdoors and found little in our price range. As soon as we visited The Old Mill and met with Don, we knew that we did not need to look anywhere else. The venue was exactly what we were looking for and Don offered us a lot within our budget and did not try to sell us things that we could not afford! He answered all sorts of little questions I had throughout the planning process. He was readily available for dropping off and picking up decor, bar supplies, etc. the day before and after our wedding. The day of the wedding, the staff put together my DIY decorations/ideas perfectly and everything looked amazing, just as I had envisioned. The staff was very attentive to my husband and I and our bridal party before, after and during the ceremony. They made sure that we had food and drinks and that we were comfortable on such a hot, summer day. The day was truly unbelievable. Now, nearly 2 weeks later, I continue to get compliments from our guests, saying that our wedding was, "the best wedding they have ever been to!" People loved the venue, the service and the food! We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding reception at the Old Mill! Every detail of our wedding day was perfect, Conner Catering and their team at the Old Mill exceeded our expectations!
The only area where we can see any room for improvement is in responsiveness- this is primarily in the early stages of contact, it can take some time to get phone calls returned. However once you do and you sit down to meet with Don Conner (the exclusive caterer for the Old Mill), you have his undivided attention- he is absolutely incredible! He knows the venue so well, shares his ideas, and most importantly gives honest feedback based on all of his experience. I can honestly say that I trusted Don completely. From linen and chair choices to suggestions for our menu, Conner Catering offered so much to choose from and Don really took the time to discuss our options with us.

The day of team was amazing- Jeanne Conner was a dream and made sure that my vision was executed perfectly, Leena was so attentive, she took amazing care of us and was constantly checking in to ensure that I had everything that I needed. All of the servers and bar tenders were great, too, super helpful and polite.

The food was incredible! From the butlered hors d'oeuvres that just kept coming to the gorgeous stationary hors d'oeuvres set up, our cocktail hour was amazing! Our guests were blown away by the food and the lovely outdoor setting. Dinner was equally impressive. We had a sit down dinner and served a surf and turf duet- everything was beyond delicious and the plates looked great. I cannot say enough good things about the presentation- the outdoor set up, our table settings, and the food- everything was so impressive. We could not get over the value- our price per head was very reasonable and looking at our event you would have thought that we spent significantly more.

Conner Catering did an absolutely amazing job! They exceeded our expectations.

Mother of the bride here: Wow everything was delightful. What impressed me most is that Conner Catering's attention to detail and anticipation of our needs.

Small details like: Providing fruited ice water unrequested for our guests on this very hot day was quite amazing at the entrance to the ceremony grounds.

Checking, and double checking to make sure that we had the right size table for our favor display. Rolling with our little changes. Getting to know us and coming up with exactly the right food accommodations to meet the ambiance we wanted to create. Our guests were delighted. There were no issues and the important people were catered to.

We hired Conner Catering for my daughter's wedding. Hiring Don is like having a wedding planner, too, because he managed the entire event, not just the food. He provided an extensive list of choices to help plan our menu. His wife managed the actual food preparation at the wedding and executed flawlessly. They provided numerous appetizers which were all delicious, and kept on coming during the cocktail hour. We had a family style dinner which our guests loved. The food was piping hot and each dish was expertly prepared and delicious, and plentiful. We had an ice cream sundae and root beer float station which our guests really enjoyed. Everything was very attractively presented. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding that they ever went to, and the food had a lot to do with it. Our guests are still raving about the food. The servers and bartenders were all very seasoned professionals. I could not have been more pleased. If you hire Conner Catering to manage this most special event, sit back and relax, you are in the best of hands.

Don catered our wedding for us at the merion tribute house 11/10 and he did an amazing job! my husband is a chef and was impressed with the food! taste and variety of food was excellent. don really listened to what was important to us and tailored a menu to us. also an excellent price, very competitive. I fell Don also went above and beyond the job of catering. He helped with decorations and arrangements, the tables looked beautiful. He also managed all the alcohol and the clean up! everything went off smoothly with no work or stress on my part. wonderful! would strongly recommend to all!

The food was amazing! The staff were wonderful and knew exactly what to have us do. They handled everything and kept things moving along. The food was as beautifully presented as it was delicious. We did family style dining and no one left hungry or disappointed. I recommend this company highly. Also, you must get the crab cakes and the scallops wrapped in bacon for appetizers, you will not be sorry.

The Old Mill at Rose Valley is the most beautiful venue in all of Delaware County. I searched several locations and this was a gem. Conner Catering has been passed down from generation to generation, and they provide all the services at the Old Mill. I wanted a unique wedding, and when I went to other venues, they had a tendency to tell me what I wanted and how things should be done. My first meeting with Mr. Conner, he told me that it was my day and he would do whatever I wanted. Mr. Conner paired with such a lovely location was the obvious choice, and my guests raved about it. The food was great, we had a very unique wedding, and a gorgeous location. Mr. Conner gave suggestions when needed, and his vendor recommendations were right on the money. Speaking of money, his prices were much lower than other places, but the value was much better than I could have ever imagined. The Old Mill is the whole package and you can make it what you want it to be as long as you want your venue to be breathtaking! I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here: you will be in good hands. I would suggest using his recommended vendors, they were all fantastic, and take his advice--he knows the place the best.

Donald was like a wedding planner. Everything ran so smoothly that there wasn't a thing for me to worry about. Excellent value.
