Very Positive Experience with Natural Wedding Makeup

I would highly recommend working with Configure Beauty! Truthfully, I was nervous about my hair and makeup, mainly because I still wanted to look natural and like myself. My hair stylist was Kelsey, and my makeup artist was Laurina. They were both extremely receptive to my suggestions and opinions, and made sure that I felt and looked like myself on my wedding day. Not to mention how kind, fun, and friendly they were with all of my friends and family. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend to others!

Loved my look

I loved my wedding day hair and makeup. When I said Robbin knows makeup and Shannon knows hair, I’m not kidding. They work miracles!
I had my trial done in the morning. It lasted all day and then (even though I know you shouldn’t) I slept in the makeup just to see. In the morning it was just as perfect as it was when I walked out of the trail, eyelashes and all!
It rained all day on my wedding day but my hair and makeup was still picture perfect at the end of the night.
I wanted my hair up but still with a soft look, Shannon delivered! As I said it rained all day and at the end of the night it looked just as good as it did when I stepped out of her chair that morning. Once I took my hair down after the wedding I realized my hair was wet right to my scalp, but the style stayed perfect all night. The one thing I couldn’t control was the rain and while I was getting my hair done Shannon said “it rained on my wedding day too.” That one sentence actually made it ok for me to just accept that I wasn’t the only one and calmed my nerves about the rain. These ladies are truly the best in the business!

I can't thank Configure Beauty Detroit enough! I absolutely loved my hair and makeup for my wedding day, as well as for the trial and engagement photos. Hair/Makeup for Bride and Bridal Party

Configure Beauty was incredible! I was planning my wedding out of state and they were incredibly flexible in helping me book a trial. My hair and makeup both at the trial and on the wedding day were absolutely stunning and both lasted the entire evening (despite the 95 degree heat and outdoor ceremony). All of my bridesmaids and mom looked stunning as well, they do a great job listening to each person and giving them exactly the look they're going for. Would recommend them for any bride and bridal party!

June 28th 2024 wedding

Nico was absolutely amazing to work with for my wedding makeup! She was professional, on time, tackled 9 womens makeup before the wedding. She was so fun to work with. We had gone over my trial makeup and the day of we decided we wanted to do something different for my eye makeup. Trusting her expertise she went above and beyond my expectations and I felt so beautiful the day of my wedding. I can’t thank her enough for being so wonderful to work with❤️

Wedding Day Make up!

Configure beauty is a must hire for your wedding day! From my trial to my wedding day configure was great to work with. We had Norma and Emily on my wedding day, and they made everyone look so beautiful. They were accommodating and listened to what everyone wanted and made it happen! I felt so confident on my wedding day thanks to Norma! They were also fun and friendly which made the getting ready process that much better. We had later additions to make up and they worked with me to make sure we stayed on time. I would recommend Configure Beauty to everyone getting married!

Robbin & Shannon were so amazing!

Robbin and Shannon were so amazing to work with! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, including some folks from the party that don't typically wear make up. They brought everyone's visions to life, were right on time for the big day and so on top of timing. The best experience!

I had the most wonderful wedding morning thanks to Dakota and Norma. They are both extremely professional, accommodating, and super talented! There was a wide variety of hair textures in my group and Dakota did such a wonderful job working with each of them. For makeup, I have always been wary of getting my makeup professionally done since some makeup artists are inexperienced with East Asian features, but Norma listened to my worries and understood how to execute a glam look onto my features. I did a trial with both of them and they did a much better job than I had envisioned - and then perfectly achieved exactly what I wanted the day of. I got so many compliments about how my makeup and hair lasted all night. Highly recommend!

Configure beauty was wonderful to work with on my wedding day! Dakota did my hair and Norma did my makeup, and they both killed it. My makeup lasted allllll day, I got so many compliments on it! Truly the best beauty team!

Configure Beauty is the absolute BEST! From the very first inquiry they were kind, easy to work with, and responsive. We quickly booked my hair & makeup trial with Shannon & Robbin and had the best time. Leading up to the big day they were available for any and all questions, flexible on start and end times, and also helped me build a schedule for 11 girls to get hair and makeup done. Most importantly, they are INCREDIBLY talented! I (bride) was so, so happy with both my hair and makeup. I truly felt beautiful all day and my hair didn’t fall and the makeup didn’t smudge or cake. MOB & MOG were also so happy with their hair/makeup, as well as all of my bridesmaids, hearing numerous times “omg this is Pinterest worthy.” Torrie and Nico were amazing too. Would 100% recommend them to all my friends & family!

Wedding day hair and makeup

Working with configure beauty was incredible! The makeup artists and hair stylists were on time and had everyone completed a little earlier than scheduled, which on a wedding day takes a lot of stress and pressure off. Everyone looked gorgeous and I couldn't be happier that I chose configure to be part of my wedding day!!!

All happiness!

Lia & Taylor were our makeup artists, and Brigitte was our hair stylist! Not only did they make us all look beautiful, but they were such a joy to have in the room while we were getting ready. It just felt like having more friends in the room! They were so wonderful, and each artist was equally as professional. Thank you Norma & Kelsey for helping me look my best on my wedding day! They remembered what was done at the trial & asked if there were tweaks that needed to be made on the day of. Their attention to detail was amazing!

My makeup was flawless! Despite some happy tears, my makeup stayed in tact throughout the entire day/night. Norma was so sweet to work with - she really made everyone in my bridal party including my mom feel comfortable & look stunning.

Loved my hair too! Kelsey made it look so full & voluminous. She did a great with everyone's hairstyles. And she was great with showing my bridal party how to put on & take off my veil without damaging my hairstyle.

Hire for Artistry & Flexibility

Hiring Configure Beauty was a great choice for my wedding day. Brigette (hair) and Lia (makeup) are true artists, and they made everyone feel absolutely beautiful! Brigette especially went above and beyond for us when my mother-in-law wanted to make some changes to her hair post-trial.

The key benefit of going with an artist collective like Configure Beauty (over an individual) is their ability to be flexible in case someone is sick, injured, or otherwise out of action. Of course, you never hope for the worst, but this actually happened for our wedding day! We found out our original makeup artist was unable to make it about a week before the event, and Configure Beauty sent Lia in her place. Our original artist kept great notes from our trials, so it was a flawless transition. Something to think about as you book your vendors!

Overall, 5 stars and would HIGHLY recommend!

We absolutely loved working with Configure Beauty! Robbin, Shannon and the rest of the team were all incredible! I've been in quite a few weddings and never fully felt myself with wedding makeup, I talked to Robbin about these concerns and she did such an incredible job. I felt confident and was so happy with both my hair and make up. She and Shannon worked with all of my ideas even when I didn't have pictures to show them! We got so many compliments from wedding guests sharing how all of the bridesmaid looked stunning as well. The ones who wanted more makeup got the dramatic beautiful look they were looking for and the ones who wanted a more enhanced natural looked exactly how they wanted. Everyone's hair and make up lasted which was also huge! I highly recommend this team not only were they great at the hair and make up, but they were easy to work with, on time and fun to have with us the morning of!

Great hair and makeup team!

We had a great experience with Configure Beauty. We had Cheri do 8 people's makeup (plus two bridal makeup trials) and Dakota and Torrie do 12 people's hair. Cheri, Dakota, and Torrie were on-time, prepared, kind, and professional, and kept us calm and on-schedule through the wedding morning! Best bridal hair and makeup ever!

Robbin, Shannon, and their team were absolutely amazing for my wedding day! The work they do is absolutely beautiful. Not only that, but they were all so professional and efficient. We had 14 ladies getting their hair and makeup done, and we were ahead of schedule! They all made me, my bridesmaids, and mothers looks absolutely amazing! Feel beautiful on your big day!`

I would highly recommend working with Configure Beauty! I coordinated my wedding-day makeup with Robbin, and Joelia was our makeup artist on the day of our wedding. Robbin was so organized and easy to work with in the coordination of the wedding which I really appreciated.

I did a trial before the wedding (photos attached) and 6 of us had our makeup done on my wedding day - Joelia was our makeup artist for both. During my trial, Joelia really listened to what I wanted (natural look, but still a bit of glam), and even took note of all the products she used on me in the trial so she could reference it on our wedding day.

My bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law were SO happy with their looks. It was the first time that my mom and mother-in-law got their makeup professionally done, and it was really amazing to see how special and beautiful they felt after Joelia did their makeup.

I absolutely loved my makeup and felt so beautiful, but also that I looked like myself on my wedding day. I was so so happy with the work of Joelia and Configure Beauty and recommend them highly!

Wonderful Beauty Experience

Configure Beauty was on the list of vendors for me to consider by my wedding planner, and I am so happy that I went with them. They were the most prompt in replying with a quote, and I really enjoyed using the portal through their website that kept everyone informed and on the same page when planning. I had my hair and makeup trial 5 days before my wedding, and honestly I would recommend this because it was so easy for Bridgette and Nico to recreate what we had just practiced at the trial. The trial was really fun because their space in Wixom is beautiful and really makes you feel special and excited for your wedding. Both of my beauty pros were easy to work with and fun to be around, not to mention their excellent work from the inspiration I gave them. On the wedding day they were prompt and worked ahead of schedule! I especially appreciated their graciousness when we couldn’t find the flower girls who needed their sparkle and hair done, and when my mom took too long in the shower, they just rolled with it and everyone was eventually done on time and looked absolutely beautiful. At the end of the day, these are people who are with you for a significant part of your wedding day, and will be in some of the photos, I am really happy I got to spend it with Bridgette and Nico. Bridal party make up

The best team!

Hiring Robbin and Shannon for my wedding day was one of my best decisions! Robbin was amazing at coordinating with me to schedule my hair trial as well as discussing day-of timeline to get myself, mom, MIL, and 9 bridesmaids hair done in time! Her online portal made scheduling, submittings payments, and asking questions so easy! Shannon was absolutely amazing for my trial and day-of! She listened to what I wanted and didn't let me leave the getting ready chair until I was 100% happy and confident! It felt so good knowing that all 11 other women were also very happy with their hair. This team is amazing and extremely talented! I highly recommend hiring them for your day :)

Glamour magicians

We hired Robbin and Shannon from Configure Beauty for my wedding to do hair and makeup. All of us on the day of just kept talking about how much we loved our hair and makeup and how smooth of a morning it was. They were both so calm and sweet and joyful, it made the day way less stressful. Robbin was quick to communicate along the wedding planning journey, and was so helpful and responsive to feedback after my trial to make sure I got the look I wanted for my wedding day. And she and Shannon did just that! Seriously, they created the most glamorous old Hollywood vintage look I was going for which is a lot of work to pull off, but they made happen! They were so perfect at achieving what everyone wanted in a timely manner. All of our hair and makeup remained in tact for the entire wedding which is amazing considering how much we were dancing later on. I can’t thank both of them enough for spending the day with us! Wedding makeup

Both Robbin and Norma did a great job on my wedding day makeup and all the bridesmaids looked beautiful. Robbin was so easy to work with and always answered my emails quickly. Both Robbin and Norma made the day run so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about anything. They absolutely killed it and everyone’s makeup stayed on all night! I would highly recommend getting your makeup done through Configure Beauty Detroit!

amazing experience

Robbin (owner) was responsive/communicative, easy to work with, and accommodating when I needed to shift the timeline/add services. I liked that the gratuity was included in the price, so that I didn’t have to remind my busy bridesmaids to tip the day of (because I included it in the per-person price that they venmo’d me).
Kelsey went above and beyond. I was stressed and emotional because I had great difficulty finding extensions that matched my hair and were thick enough (I have extremely thick hair) and she let me send her pictures in the weeks leading up to the wedding to ask her advice/guidance on which ones matched. Kelsey is a hair genius. She really knows her stuff and she is FAST. She did hair for 10 people total (including me) and was running early the entire time. Everyone’s hair looked wonderful and lasted the entire day/night.

Highly Recommend Configure!!

I had the best experience with Configure! First, they were so accommodating with my late request (due to covid complications). My stylist listened to my vision and executed it perfectly for both the trial and the wedding day. Robbin was extremely responsive all the time, and it made working with Configure easy and stress-free. All of my friends and family members who had their hair done looked beautiful and flawless. I couldn't have had a better experience, and I would recommend Robbin and her team to everyone!

Great service and awesome team members

We loved configure beauty so much after booking with them for my wedding in July 2021 that we booked a second time for my mom's wedding in Nov. 2021. Both experiences were great. The team members are all wonderful and really listen to what you want your hair and makeup to look like. They are also willing to make changes and adjustments to get it perfect!

10/10 recommend!

I hired Configure Beauty Detroit for on-site makeup for me and 8 other women. From the very start, Robbin was so extremely responsive! This was so important to me, as I had a couple vendors that took a week to respond each time I reached out. She was very clear in relaying information, and I actually really liked the platform on which she communicated because all of our communication, proposals, contracts, payments, etc were all localized in one spot, and even when changes were made the previous revisions were still accessible for reference. We scheduled my makeup trial and I met Shelbie, who would be my MUA for the day of my wedding. She was so sweet and helped guide me in determining the kind of look I wanted, and her skill, creativity, and technique was amazing! Once my makeup was finished I had a couple points of feedback for things I wanted to adjust for the day of the wedding (this is why you get a trial!), and she made sure to follow through with those things flawlessly when it came to my wedding day. My makeup wore so well, even with the glowing, relatively dewy look that I got, still nothing budged throughout the night. I’m generally not comfortably with wearing a lot of makeup, and Shelbie really understood that and I felt so comfortable, my skin looked flawless, my lashes didnt budge - she really nailed it. All of my girls were so happy with the looks they got by both Shelbie and Emily, and several girls afterwards made comments like “oh my god she’s so good, I’m obsessed!” One thing I noticed at my trial and again on my wedding day was that Shelbie was really excellent with maintaining clean tools and brushes, which really stood out to me and made me feel so comfortable. I’ve had my makeup done a handful of times, and no one has ever come close to being as clean and professional as Shelbie, nor has anyone executed as perfect a look as Shelbie did for all of the girls that sat in her chair. The next time I need makeup services I will not hesitate to hire again!

Literally hire these artists ASAP. Incredible team. Robbin and the whole team at CBD worked with me through a postponement, working around scheduling a trial from out of state. Morning of the wedding the team of four did hair and makeup for 10 people. I could not get over how insanely gorgeous the entire group looked. Extremely professional, responsive, and worthy every penny. Their prices are certainly comparable for the market and worth the investment. I cannot thank them enough!!

Flawless experience!!

I’ve used configure beauty twice for multiple events. The first event was for a professional photography session for my practice and they provided on-location hair and makeup. The second event was for a wedding party of 10+ ppl for hair and makeup as well. On both occasions, the configure beauty team were on-time, professional, friendly and provided expert services. I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of their services. The booking process was simple and clear. I received clear details on what to expect and how to prepare for our day! The team did an an amazing job on hair and makeup. They are all clearly professional, experienced and quality artists. They were timely, well-prepared and very flexible with our needs. We even added some services last minute and they were very accommodating. The whole process from booking to treatment was flawless and exceeded my expectations! They even followed up with me on the day of and afterwards to make sure that everything was running smooth and that I was happy with my services. I would definitely utilize their services again in the future. I highly recommend!!!

Amazing Experience

I cannot recommend this Configure Beauty Detroit enough! From the very beginning they were so easy to work with, Robbin is so quick to respond, beyond friendly and professional. Her team is absolutely amazing! I have been in several different weddings and have had my hair and makeup done countless times and can honestly say I have never been fully satisfied. Hands down, this has been the best experience I have ever had!! There is not one single thing myself or my bridal party did not like! Nico and Dakota slayed!!! Highly recommend to any bride

I am so glad that I decided to use Configure Beauty for my special day. Originally I was going with a salon that I would have to go to early in the morning on my wedding day. Wonderful team!

I am so happy I hired Configure Beauty Detroit for my wedding reception! I did not have a hair/makeup trial due to my choosing but felt secure with this based off of the reviews and client photos. We had 2 makeup artists and 1 hair stylist for myself, bridesmaids and my mother and it was amazing. I was very happy with my hair and makeup for my wedding reception - also very happy that everything stayed on/up very well despite the VERY humid and hot day that my reception was on. My girls and mom were also very happy. The girls at Configure Beauty were so professional, timely, and wonderful to work with. Beautiful job at the last minute!

I found Configure Beauty about 3 weeks before my wedding that had already been postponed once before (previous hair and makeup people were no longer available). While their prices were higher, especially for a postponement, the trial alone was miles above the previous one I had, and my hair and makeup the day of the wedding was even better! Robbin and Dakota were very easy to work with, and the hair and makeup stayed put well past midnight. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married in metro Detroit!

Wow, wow, wow! I cannot say enough amazing things about Robbin and her team at Configure Beauty Detroit! They were all such a pleasure to work with and made our wedding morning happen so smoothly! Robbin did my bridal makeup and it was FLAWLESS and Shannon styled my hair and it was the best my hair has ever looked. Dakota and Shelby came to do hair and makeup as well on our big day and they did not disappoint! Every interaction I had with Robbin was professional, friendly and productive. Beautiful hair and makeup

Dayna is amazing! She crushed it and made my hair look exactly how I envisioned it! I felt like a princess! Shelby beautified me, even giving me a face mask before which kept my skin soft for days. I planned remotely so I couldn't do a trial so both my hair and makeup artists worked with me the day of to make sure I was happy. I loved how it turned out and my mom and bridesmaids all looked so beautiful.

Flawless service

I had the pleasure of having my hair and makeup done by Robbin and her team. I live in Virginia but my wedding was in Michigan and with travel issues due to COVID I had to change my trial date several times. Configure Beauty was so accommodating. The trial was so much fun and they made me feel like a princess. For the wedding I was getting ready in my hotel room. Robbin brought everything she needed to get me ready. I asked for a few changes from the trial and she gladly did those. My makeup and hair was perfect. The wedding was at 11a and we had multiple events that went until 1a and I still looked flawless at the end.

Such an incredible experience!

Robbin at Configure Beauty Detroit absolutely wow'd me (and all my bridal party!) on the wedding day and during the planning process. With a busy job, they were very accommodating for hair and makeup trials and were very reasonable priced. Robbin was extremely organized and had an entire schedule made for the day-of...besides myself, we had 4 other women getting hair and makeup done and everything was so efficient and fun! I thought Robbin and her co-workers worked with everyone's individual style and allowed their natural beauty to shine through. Those that usually wear minimal to no makeup had a long-lasting, natural looking face and those that love a little glam had tasteful, beautiful colors and a perfect shadowy eye. MOB and MOG and my grandmother were part of the group and they had timeless makeup and hair as well. Not to mention, everyone's hair looked fabulous! I had a few alterations with my day-of look and everyone was so accommodating. Robbin stayed behind until I was literally walking out the door for last minute touch-ups. They also were fun to spend time with - cheersing with champagne, listening to music, having good conversation, and going with the flow if bridesmaid's had to get ready in a different order.

Final point - I cannot recommend this team ENOUGH!! They took away a lot of the stress while getting ready, were professional, and did an absolutely fantastic job. Please book them!!!

Highly recommend this talented team!

Robbin and her team we're amazing! She was always quick to respond to any emails and was able to get me in last minute for a trial. Robbin is a very talented make up artist who is able to get you whatever look you are wanting and she makes sure you are liking what she's doing along the way. I loved my hair and make up for my wedding and my MOH is even using Configure for her wedding next summer.

Wedding day bliss!

Omg they knocked it out of the park!
I was in a bind, as my previous booking with a different company did not work out, 2 months before my wedding. I reached out to Robbin and she had availability.
I was nervous, living out of state and unable to do a trial appointment before the wedding! Robbin made me as comfortable as possible and had both the Makenzie (make up artist) and Erika (hair stylist) do my inspired look on their own models and send me lots of pictures to refer to and critique. Talk about above and beyond!
The day of, couldn’t of gone smoother! Makenzie and Erika work great together and everyone enjoyed working with them! I got so many compliments from my wedding guests and wedding party that it was the best bridal makeup they’ve ever gotten!
I cannot recommend then enough to anyone and everyone for their event/ wedding!

The absolute best

Robbin was absolutely exceptional during my mom's wedding. It was my mom (the bride), my sister and I and she did all of our make ups BEAUTIFULLY on a time limit. We felt so beautiful and received so many compliments! Aside from how great her art is, Robbin is sweet and fun and she made the morning of my mom's wedding day truly amazing. Best Ever!

Robbin and her team were absolutely amazing. I was so nervous about my wedding hair and make up bc I generally don’t wear a lot and didn’t want to not look like myself. Robbin was so understanding and made me feel so comfortable. Not only did she make it totally comfortable to give her feedback but she actually listened. She made me feel so beautiful and natural on my wedding day (the bridal party felt the same way). Her team was super nice and super patient. Dayna, our hair stylist, was AMAZING. I did 3 trials before I decided on a hair style. She was so patient and responded to all my texts and weird questions about hair styles. I loved working with Robbin and her team. They made such a positive impact on our day!

Feel and Look Amazing with Configure Beauty

Erika, Dakota, Emily, and the team at Configure Beauty Detroit were unparalleled in their professionalism and talent. I would recommend their services to every bride. We had our wedding on June 8th at the Belle Isle Boat House in Detroit. Due to recent rain (not on our day!), there were many last minute tasks, leaving the bridal party a bit frazzled. But of course Erika, Dakota, and Emily showed up relaxed and excited to get 5 ladies, 2 moms, 1 sister-in-law, and 1 bride ready. Our theme was Art Deco / Great Gatsby and while I had a trial makeup and hair session where we figured out my style, the rest of the ladies had no idea what they wanted. But rest assured, everyone looked and felt amazing. Even with the trial run, I myself was blown away by how glamorous I felt. What's even more impressive is that there was a lot of variation in how the bridal party wanted their hair and makeup done. I wanted to look like a diva glamour queen, while my sister wanted to look more natural -- and that wasn't a problem. All in all this was the best makeup and hair experience I've ever had and totally worth the cost to feel and look amazing on your special day.

Perfect Wedding Make-up!

Robbin is the absolute best! She is incredibly easy to work with, punctual and adaptable. I live in LA and was so confident heading to Detroit because of how wonderful she was prior to me getting there. I felt so beautiful walking down the aisle to my husband! My make-up and lashes lasted and lasted, and the make-up itself was light and breathable. She was so sweet to even gave me a lipstick. I wish I lived in Michigan, so I could give her a hug! Great experience

Robbin and her team were amazing! She was quick with her responses and very organized. I had a HUGE bridal party... 12 girls plus my mother getting hair and makeup up done and Robbin and her team handled us with ease! Amazing hair and makeup

AMAZING! I waited until the very last minute to find a salon for hair and makeup for my wedding (like 2 weeks before last minute) and by some stroke of luck Configure Beauty had availability. I could not have been happier with their work. Emily for makeup and Dakota for hair did a fabulous job. They did hair and makeup for my 4 sisters, my mom and myself. We all have very different taste and they nailed it with each one of us. They were efficient and worked quickly to get us ready in time. I am so happy it worked out to use Configure Beauty Detroit. Robbin and her other artist were wonderful to work with! They were great with our wedding party, and did a wonderful job of making everyone look beautiful. Robbin was amazing!

I am not someone who wears makeup on a regular basis, and my knowledge of it is even less. Needless to say, I was nervous when searching for a makeup artist for my wedding day. I found Configure Beauty and was impressed by the reviews I read so I contacted Robbin for more information and a trial. The morning of my trial she was very accommodating and did her best to make sure she completely understood what I was looking for. She showed me sample photos of different styles so I could have a visual of what I was describing. I loved the makeup we tried during the trial, and booked her for my wedding day. On the day of the wedding she was prompt, gracious, and kept us on schedule. She made my bridal party and myself look absolutely stunning. My makeup stayed on the entire day, including the lashes. I was beyond impressed and received many compliments on my makeup from my guests. Robbin is very skilled at what she does, and a very sweet person. She was also extremely responsive in the months leading up to the wedding, answering my many questions and accommodating my changing number of people receiving services. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist on their special day, or any day for that matter!

Everyone looked GORGEOUS!

As a NYC bride planning a wedding in the Detroit area I was most nervous about hair and makeup. Robbin was excellent from the start, and worked around my travel schedule to book two different trials for hair and one for makeup, and even did my mom’s makeup for my shower! Robbin and Dayna, who did hair, took my general idea of what I wanted and turned it into a beautiful result. They really have an eye for how to emphasize your best features - and they were so patient with me as I was fairly picky! A few weeks prior to the wedding I contacted Robbin to ask if she could accommodate several of my aunts and cousins for hair and makeup, which she did. On the wedding day Robbin and her team did makeup and hair for me, my bridal party, and my family and everyone LOVED the outcome!

Exceptional

One of the best decisions made for our wedding was hiring Robbin and her team. Not only are they absolutely incredible at their jobs, but they are also so sweet and genuine. Robbin did the makeup for myself, my bridal party, and our mothers. Everyone looked beautiful and was thrilled with their looks. Not only does she listen to what you want, but she also provides suggestions along the way. It's clear she is super knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. When getting my makeup done I always have a fear that it will look super "cakey" or overdone, but not with Robbin. Dayna did hair for everyone and I can't say enough good things. I had a very specific vision in mind for my look and in my trial, my hair just didn't seem to hold up (we actually did two trials, which was uncommon but they did it to make sure I was happy - again, amazing). Dayna promised me she would get it, and of course, she did not disappoint. I honestly didn't think it was possible for my hair to look the way it did, but they are magicians! :) It's a complete bonus that they are truly amazing people, too. If you have the opportunity to work with them, don't hesitate.

Winter Wonderful!

Phenomenal.

I hired Robbin and Configure Beauty Detroit for my wedding in October and let me say, it was one of the best decisions I made. Robbin was so responsive and wonderful right from the beginning and made everything so easy! I went for a trial probably about 2 months before my wedding and Robbin NAILED the look I was going for. There were 8 girls total that got their makeup done the day of the wedding so Robbin and another makeup artist (I can’t remember her name, 🤦🏼‍♀️) came to our house which was awesome because we didn’t have to waste any time driving! Every single one of my bridesmaids loved their makeup and we had a ton of fun with them! We didn’t not have Configure Beauty do our hair but I have to imagine it would have been just as beautiful as the makeup if we did. I could go on and on but to make it short, Robbin and her team were phenomenal. You will not regret choosing Configure Beauty Detroit.

Amaizng Service Amzingggg Artist!

I have been looking for a makeup artist for my wedding for about a few weeks and I found out about Configure Beauty from wedding wire and they are amazing! I messaged Robin about booking a trial and she responded quickly. Shes super professional and so sweet! She did an amazing job on my makeup. She listens to what her clients and brides want. Great wedding day experience

Some say every person you meet along your path in life, you meet for a reason. Now, Robbin and her team at Configure Beauty May have been hired for hair and make up for my wedding, but they are all so incredibly genuine, and down to earth. All my bridesmaids were amazed at their hair and makeup, (I will be completely honest and say all my besties all have very strong personalities and very different style) and everyone was very satisfied. Robbin did my bridal makeup and looking at pictures and videos still she was able to capture the type of bridal make up I had envisioned and wanted. Everyone was amazing and the makeup and hair lasted throughout the entire night (which is shocking because we are very emotional people lol) I truly hope that I have more events where I can have my make up done by Robbin. Her passion for what she does daily is truly undeniably, she is an artist that even when you do a trial with her she is “all in” and totally dedicated to you and in that moment. When you work with her, you feel like you’re gaining one of the coolest friends along your life’s path, at least I did. Configure beauty- you ladies are amazing, thank you for making “our best day ever”, truly breathtaking.

Robbin was absolutely fantastic. During my trial she took everything I said into consideration. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of makeup that often, It was important for me to feel like myself while also feeling beautiful on my wedding day, and Robbin was perfect. We love the makeup Robbin did for my daughter’s wedding. She was willing to be at the house by 615 am to get all four of us looking fabulous with makeup that lasted til after 1 pm. My daughters and I felt like we weren’t even wearing makeup at all including the eyelashes. She has an easy to talk with and makes everyone feel at ease. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a makeup artist. She did a great job!!!

Robbin/Configure was one of the best things to happen to our wedding! We originally had another makeup artist booked, but she had to drop out extremely last minute. Robbin was able and willing to fill in on-site at our venue in the thumb with five days’ notice! She and Sarah (hair artist) were wonderful to work with, communicate with, and have with us on the wedding morning - starting at 6am to accommodate our early afternoon ceremony! And of course, they did an extraordinary job. My wedding had a specific, vintage theme and their work was spot-on and gorgeous!! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Robbin was outstanding on our wedding day and in the weeks leading up to the event! On the day of, both Robbin and Sarah (hair stylist) were flexible and happy to make adjustments to the schedule without any issue. Everybody's makeup and hair looked incredible- natural but still glamorous, and it lasted all night. Having them come to the house to do hair and makeup was a significant investment, but very worthwhile as it reduced my stress level as I got ready that day, particularly having done a trial with them and knowing that the makeup was tear and sweat proof! I highly recommend this team!
