Confection Perfection baked the cake for our wedding a few weeks ago and they did a lovely job. The consultation stage was easy and simple, and the staff member worked with my husband and I to come to a compromise when we wanted differing icing styles. Everyone thought the cake was delicious and beautiful!

Perfect wedding cake

Wonderful wedding cake!
Our wedding cake was included in our venue package, but we are so glad that it was created by Confection Perfection. They were so easy to work with and provided us with a delicious & beautiful wedding cake for our special day. We had a lot of fun exploring decor ideas through their design packet & collaborating with their designer and also thoroughly enjoyed taste-testing their wide variety of cake & filling flavors. We ended up going with 2 different flavor combinations across our 3 tiers and received many compliments on having multiple flavor options. We especially appreciated that Confection Perfection went above & beyond to help us incorporate the unique decor element of a small figurine of our dog popping out of one of the tiers. We provided them with the figurine and some inspiration photos and they made it happen! I’ve also enjoyed Confection Perfection’s cakes at a few other weddings (in addition to my own) and have loved it every time! Thank you so much for crafting such a tasty (and beautiful) treat to celebrate our big day!

Stunning and delicious!
When we first started wedding planning, we didn’t have to think about which vendor we wanted for our wedding cake! We already knew we wanted Confection Perfection just from reputation. When we went for the tasting, it only solidified the fact that we were going to have Confection Perfection make our cake! It was incredibly beautiful and delicious! Everyone raved about the cake and we’re dying to know where we got it at! It was perfect and so tasty! We had a topper made and it just completed the whole look! So happy!

Confection Perfection was AMAZING! The cake was one of the highlights from the wedding! It was just phenomenal. At our cake tasting with CP every flavor was so moist and so delicious it was hard for us to pick a favorite honestly. We went with Almond flavoring and it was probably the best cake I have ever had, no exaggeration. The cake looked gorgeous and tasted even better! Something else we loved about this company was that they make the cake to allow you to eat all tiers of the cake and then use the extra batter left over to make you your own little anniversary tier! We cannot wait to try our 1 year anniversary tier! If you are trying to decide who to use for your cake, I would HIGHLY recommend Confection Perfection!

Fabulous cake!
My husband and I purchased our wedding cake from Confection Perfection. Our experience was excellent. First, the cakes are delicious; we chose a three-tier cake with two flavors (chocolate with mocha filling, and butter vanilla with “black and jack” filling). The “black and jack” filling, consisting of Jack Daniels-infused blackberries, was a standout. Not only was their product great, but their service was impeccable too. The individual who led our initial consultation was knowledgeable and helpful, and their communication with us following the purchase was prompt and thorough. The delivery on the day-of went off without a hitch. Do note that they do not have a cake stand available for rental/borrowing; the cake arrived with a neutral-colored base which we placed directly on the cake table, and that worked well for our purposes. I highly recommend them!

Simply Amazing!
I absolutely love this place. We found this vendor through our venue and couldn't have asked for anyone better. We met wirh Alyse for our cake tasting and very TASTY it was. We went with a french vanilla cake with raspberyy chantilly cream and I had been craving it everyday after the tasting. I was so excited to be able to taste it again. Our wedding cake was a 3-tier cake that incorporated our wedding colors - navy blue, burnt orange and cream for our Fall Romance wedding theme. I couldn't have asked for a better cake vendor. While our wedding was relatively small (60 guest), they ate both tiers at the wedding and i didn't even get a piece. Thats how good the wedding cake was. I did get to enjoy every last piece of the top tier so I am one happy bride and my husband and I are one happy couple. I would definitely recommend this vendor to anyone. We will periodically place an order from this place because the cake is really really really good.

Our experience with the team at Confection Perfection was delightful! It started with the tasting at their store, where we sampled 20+ different flavors of cake. We settled on a 4 tier cake with 2 different flavors, and buttercream on the outside. The cake was absolutely gorgeous, and just as important, it tasted incredible!
My wife also surprised me with a Notre Dame groom's cake that was so intricately detailed. I had no idea it was happening, and the Confection Perfection crew was able to deliver on the surprise with their usual hallmarks - elegance and deliciousness! We can't recommend these wonderful people enough!

We used Confection Perfection for our wedding cake because it was on the list of recommended vendors through our venue, Olde Towne Athletic Club. Luckily we scheduled our cake tasting 3/6/20 before COVID. They were flexible when we had to change venues which resulted in a smaller cake and delivery to a different location. We selected a 2 tier white chocolate wedding cake with buttercream frosting, and strawberry purée. The cake was delicious and beautiful! They provided an anniversary cake as well. I enjoyed working with them. I couldn't recommend them enough!!!

Confection perfection was part of our wedding venue package, but I wouldn't want anyone else! Even during the COVID pandemic, they provided an awesome tasting experience, and our conference call with the decorator allowed us to have a beautiful cake. We had a 2 tier with different flavors. One was Cinnamon with cream cheese filling - AMAZING. The other was chocolate with strawberry filling - YUM! They provided an anniversary cake as well. We are so happy with our cake, it was truly edible art that added to our wedding decor, and it truly tasted even better than it looked!

We used Confection Perfection for both the wedding cake and groom's cake because our venue uses them through Waterstone Events. Their organized system allowed us to try out the flavors, choose each tier, and make any custom requests. Even during Covid, their tray pick up and phone consultations went smoothly. And the best part...the cake was DELICIOUS and BEAUTIFUL!! We chose a 3 tier white chocolate wedding cake with buttercream frosting. It was the best wedding cake I've ever eaten. The groom's cake was also amazingly delicious and looked exactly like the picture we submitted. I couldn't recommend them enough!!!

We used this bakery via our all-inclusive wedding venue. We opted for the short weekend appointment and take-away cake tasting. It was perfect for us to work into our busy schedules. Our choice of cinnamon cake with chocolate ganache was a hit all around. Confection Perfection was recommended to me by a friend who used them for her own wedding when I told her how much trouble I was having picking a bakery! Our only local bakery gave me a hard time about wanting a satellite cake and cupcakes instead of one big cake. I didn’t want the hassle/stress of trying to get family to transport a wedding cake the day-of, but a lot of bakeries farther away had really high delivery fees.
Confection Perfection didn’t bat an eye at my satellite cake/cupcakes request, and their prices are really reasonable, including their delivery fee. And there were so many amazing flavor options at our tasting to pick from. They were a breeze to work with. The cake and cupcakes were delivered on time, and they were just gorgeous! And delicious. Delicious cake with classy designs
Best wedding cake ever! We visited Confection Perfection on a Saturday afternoon and booked them the same day. The shop is filled with beautiful cake designs on display so we knew were in the best place. We came in with photos from Pinterest that we liked and we worked together with the cake designer to create a unique design that incorporated all the elements we wanted.
As soon as we tasted the cakes, we knew this was the team to make our wedding cake. We went with the Pink Champagne and Almond cake flavors and strawberry and champagne for the filling flavors...delectable! We chose a butter cake with chocolate ganache filling for the groom’s cake. The cake designer worked with the groom to get the exact logo designs for his favorite sports teams. The day of our wedding, everyone enjoyed the cakes and wanted to take slices home! Confection Perfection also provided an anniversary cake that was packaged and ready for the freezer until our one yer anniversary. Many wedding cakes are not memorable but Confection Perfection was amazing and will be tough to top!

Great Service, Delicious Cake
We hired this company as part of a package with our venue. We went to their location for the tasting, which was great, and they designed the cake exactly as we wanted it. Everything tasted delicious and looked beautiful on the day of and we hardly had to think of anything with the delivery or setup or anything like that. Also we had a lot of leftover cake and we wrapped it in aluminum foil and froze it for 2 weeks while we went on our honeymoon. It was still delicious after we got back.

Let's be real: This was the part of the planning process we were most looking forward to. And Confection Perfection lived up to its name! We sampled at least 17 flavors, all of them delicious and many of them unique. We wanted a simple, classic cake that didn't break the bank (and if it tastes good, even better). We ended up with the *perfect* 4-layer cake that matched my vision in every way! Our flavors were (1) chocolate chip cake with toffee crunch ganache (my favorite) and (2) champagne cake with champagne buttercream (husband's choice). Well you know how it goes -- we never tasted the cake at the wedding, but we heard great things! And the leftover slice we took back to the hotel was perfect.
We had a planner so I didn't deal much with the logistics, but they were sure to get as many details as possible during our first tasting so they knew what to expect in terms of delivery.

Not only were our cakes (wedding and groom's cake) delicious, they were also beautiful. My husband wanted to do a bottle of Blanton's for the groom's cake and it turned out amazing. So many people at the wedding came up and complimented us on it. Plus they said both cakes tasted delicious - they have so many flavors to choose from so it's super easy to make your cake your own!

Confection Perfection did our wedding cake and our groom's cake. They were both beautiful AND tasted delicious! We went with almond cake with raspberry filling and a strawberry cake with cream cheese filling for our main cake and we did cinnamon cake with cream cheese filling for our groom's cake. EVERYONE raved about how delicious the cake was! My dad even tried to re-order one for my birthday a couple weeks after the wedding because he loved it so much.

I have heard something like choose 2 of 3 - taste, look or price. Not with these people. The picture I am including is a little blurry, but the only one I can find right now from my daughter's wedding this past weekend. The cake itself was absolutely beautiful, and was very reasonably priced (our venue included a portion of the cake pricing in our package). They immediately resolved a little hiccup in pricing/selection that was fair to everyone, so their customer service is exceptional as well. But, really, the highlight was the taste. Absolutely delicious! I am not even sure the words delicious and wedding cake go together. But, somehow, Confection Perfection delivered a beautiful, well priced cake that tasted incredible. If they are available for your wedding, go with them. You and your guests will love them.

Delicious Wedding Cakes
Confection Perfection baked our (main) wedding cake and the groom’s cake. It was a pleasure working with Jennifer as she designed our wedding cake. What attracted me to Confection Perfection is that they do not freeze their cakes which makes a BIG difference in the taste and quality. They also do not need to use fondant as their buttercream is stiff enough for a smooth texture. We had a three-tier wedding cake of champagne flavor with each tier having a different filling. Our favorite part of the wedding cake was a small figurine of our beloved west highland terrier that was hidden at the rear side of the cake. The groom cake was in the shape of a brain as my husband is a neurologist. After hearing that we wanted a brain cake, Jennifer creatively suggested having a matcha cake as a “surprise” for the green inside of the brain. It was wonderful working with Jennifer and her team; and we look forward to getting more memorable cakes from them.

We loveeeeed our wedding cake! The strawberry cake was super moist and amazing. We loved the naked cake with the flowers on it. We also loved the cinnamon cake with cream cheese frosting. All of our guests loved the cake :)

We didn’t need a huge cake for our ceremony because we also did cupcakes but MAN this cake was so delicious we should’ve gotten a bigger one! Marea was super helpful with the tastings and helping me create an idea of what I wanted (because I honestly had no idea) AND she made the delivery of the cake of the wedding day and amazing experience too!!! They can do everything!
Confection Perfection was an amazing find for us for our wedding! While other cake designers all had their "style" to them, Confection Perfection seemed to be able to do everything! Walking through their display area in their studio gave me so many different ideas for the look of our cake, and then when we got to the tasting... So many flavors! It took us a solid week just to reflect and chose our favorites! They even provide gluten free options!
Our cake looked exactly how I had envisioned it, and the buttercream showed no signs of melting throughout the entire event up to when we cut it. We didn't even need to worry about a groom's cake since we were able to pick a different flavor for each tier of cake, which was amazing for us since we both have very different cake preferences.
I plan to come back to Confection Perfection if I ever need a cake for any reason!

Confection Perfection was so wonderful and we still get so many compliments about our cake! The tasting was great, and we loved that you were able to taste large enough pieces to make a good decision. We chose one flavor for all three layers. Shortly after we decided, I regretted only choosing one flavor as all of them were SO good. I called within the next few days, and they were more than accommodating to add a second flavor of cake + icing to one of the three layers. As for the presentation, I brought a few pictures from Instagram + Pinterest, and based on these I was shown the two styles I liked. They have so many examples to show and help you along the way with narrowing the cake design/icing style that best matches the inspiration photos. I will most definitely recommend Confection Perfection to anyone looking for the perfect cake!

I planned a fairly last minute wedding and when Confection Perfection said they could easily do my cake within the two and half weeks they had, it was a deal. I didn't look for any other vendors. I had an initial call with LeAnn and she was great at taking my suggestions and giving suggestions of her own. I had a picture of a cake I saw in a magazine and they replicated it to perfection (only slightly smaller)! We had two different flavors - the cinnamon and butter vanilla. The cinnamon was absolutely delicious and went perfectly with our homemade peach ice cream! I definitely recommend Confection Perfection!

Our son was married in a destination wedding, so two months later we had a local reception. The venue included a 3 tiered cake from Confection Perfection with the package. We went to the cake tasting, designed the cake, and they not only got it right, but exceeded our expectations. We choose different flavored cake and filling for each layer, added a fondant character from our son's favorite show and brought the cake topper to complete the look. We only paid the upcharge for the different flavors and the fondant Jake, s the price we included is for that only. We would highly recommend them for any special event.

Confection Perfection was recommended to us by our venue and provided the wedding cake and groom's cake for our reception. During our appointment, my husband and I enjoyed the cake tasting and Grace helped us design both cakes. She was very knowledgeable and provided a sketch of what each cake would look like, which we found very helpful. On the day of the wedding, the cakes were delivered on time and the delivery staff made sure to place our cake toppers. Both cakes were beautifully decorated and delicious!

I had my wedding cake from Confection Perfection and it was beautiful and tasted delicious. Scheduling a tasting with them was so easy and they were very flexible with their timing. The designer was very helpful and after showing her many pictures of cakes that I liked we were able to come up with a design for my cake that was within my budget (all buttercream). The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was my cake being delivered around 2pm, because my reception didn’t start until 7pm, so I was worried about my cake being out in the open for so long, but it was fine. I do understand that they had other cakes to deliver. The company even provided me with a small anniversary cake as a complementary gift with my order which was really nice because that meant I could use the entire cake on guests!

From the consult through after the wedding Confection Perfection was great to work with. The tasting was amazing and all of the choices make it really hard to pick one. We ordered our cake on the day of our tasting. After this we decided to make a change to one of the flavors. We communicated this by email and the changes were noted. When the cake was cut we realized that the change was not executed when the cake was made. We communicated with the bakery after the wedding and they quickly found the miscommunication and apologized for the error. The cake was beautiful and delicious and I would definitely use them again because of their quality and service.

When we went for our consultation with Confection Perfection, we weren’t exactly sure what we wanted but I knew I didn’t want a “traditional wedding cake.” LeAnn listened to the details of our wedding and the drew up a “cake scape” consisting of multiple cakes with varying amounts of tiers and it was perfect! She put together a beautiful array of cakes at a very affordable rate! During the tasting, we must have tasted 15 different cake/filling combinations and each one was delicious! On the day of, our cakes were set up perfectly and each one was so delicious! Probably the best cake we have ever eaten! We had a 2 tier cake and a dessert bar with cheesecake, brownies, and cookies. Everything was beautifully displayed and delicious! Guests absolutely loved the variety of desserts! Our cake was PERFECT! Confection Perfection allowed us to try several types of cakes with different filling options and we loved two kinds of cakes. They allowed us to do different cakes for each tier to accommodate! However after tasting a similar flavor at a different wedding several months before our own we decided we wanted to change our cake to only cinnamon and cream cheese. Confection Perfection is the baker my venue, The Conservatory at Waterstone, works with. I was initially skeptical about using a baker included in a package, but was pleasantly surprised after reading reviews. My expectations were met when my now husband and I went in for our tasting. There were so many options to choose from, many included in our allotted package budget. I love how they took my vision and turned it into reality, our cake was absolutely beautiful!! My only regret is not having enough time during our wedding to actually sit down and enjoy a whole piece lol. Thank goodness we have our top to eat on our anniversary :)

We wanted a simple, plain white 3-tier wedding cake, and sometimes this is harder than decorating a cake, because you notice every detail when it's plain white. But it looked perfect! I was SLIGHTLY worried the cake would be dry, because during our cake tasting, a few pieces were and the cake was my groom's most important part of the day, so I wanted it to be perfect. But we chalked up the somewhat dry pieces to it being a tasting where pieces are probably not always fresh. They did not disappoint on our day! Cake tasted so moist and fresh!

My wedding was very small and had to be planned in 2 months. Confection Perfection did a perfect job of helping me and my husband create our dream wedding cake. Their choices of cake are all so delicious and their prices we not bad at all. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. We are still enjoying our delicious cake!

Confection perfection was absolutely perfect for our wedding and guests. We wanted just a small cake, but they took the care and consideration that they would have for a larger-scale cake. It was absolutely delicious and the service was flawless. Highly recommend lemon cake with blueberry filling!

I am SO happy that we chose Confection Perfection for our wedding cake! The cake was amazing and the staff was friendly and helpful. LeAnn always responded quickly to emails throughout the planning process. They worked within our budget and the cake turned out exactly how I had pictured it. The cake arrived on time and they even gave us some "to go" cake after the reception. We highly recommend Confection Perfection and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Looking at price, it was very refreshing to see a reasonable one! We went to the tasting and fell in love - we are foodies so we wanted to make sure it was delicious cake! Not only was is delicious, but it was also beautiful! There were SO many options of cake and icing and talking with the owner was very helpful in deciding what we wanted and easily helped us decide we wanted to use them as our cake vendor. I will definitely be using them again in the future for other events!

I love their cakes! So delicious! Plus they give you the option for an anniversary cake, so no need to worry about saving the topper. Definitely recommend.

Jennifer and her staff are incredible, super helpful and met all my needs! The cake tasting was the best part of the planning and you can try so many flavors! (I would recommend the cinnamon cake and chocolate chip with chocolate ganache cake). Delivery was smooth, the appearance of the cake was beautiful and just what I imagined and of course the taste was out of this world. Worth every penny and would highly recommend Confection Perfection!

Wow. Awesome cake!!! We received so many compliments that this was the best tasting cake ever at a wedding and it's true. Sometime it's hard to tell who is the best based on your tastings, but I can tell you that the cake delivered on our wedding day was even more moist and delicious than I remember tasting. This is sooo important because I know other brides who received a dried out cake on their wedding day or a gummy frosting that they don't recall at their tasting. Confection perfection had a fantastic buttercream, great moist cake, and overall best price for the quality. I HIGHLY recommend using them!

Let me say this----we weren't going to have a grooms cake. Nope...not gonna. Until about 5 days before the wedding and my husband-to-be hinted around about---how nice it would be. It took one email, a picture of what I was thinking and Confection Perfection took it from there!! Not to say our Wedding cake was shabby--because it was exactly what I wanted! But the grooms cake contained every element I wanted to make it special for him...and YUMMY! Loved it and would certainly use them again (except I'm not planning another wedding!)

Confection Perfection was wonderful to work with. The tasting was the best one we had, and is what sold us on choosing them. They were very thorough and professional, and it was delicious! We ordered our groom's cake and wedding cake through them. Our wedding cake was beautiful and exactly the way we were hoping it would look. The flavors were just like we remembered from the tasting, and people complemented how great it tasted. The groom's cake looked wonderful, but was dry. We contacted them shortly afterward to express our concern. LeAnn was helpful, professional and compensated us for the cake. Overall, we had a great experience with them and highly recommend.
