We used Composing Reality for our wedding at Twenty Mile House in July. Rachelle was a pleasure to work with. Her style is to mostly stay in the background and capture the day as it happens, but she was accessible and gave great advice when needed. This is something we really appreciated about her. We are very happy with all of our photos, and even received them ahead of her predicted timeline, which was an amazing surprise! -

Wonderful wedding photographer
We were introduced to Rachelle via the Twenty Mile House team. She came with a ridiculously high recommendation and she did not disappoint! Rachelle was kind, compassionate, and a consummate professional working with us to prepare for and shoot the big day. We both have big families with high expectations of both posed and candid shots -- Rachelle nailed them all. We enjoyed working with her thoroughly and would strongly recommend for anyone else in need of a professional photographer. She's the best! -

Rachelle is an absolute gem and captures everything you want no questions asked. She helps you feel like you are on top of the world (even more than you are already feeling at your wedding day) and seamlessly fits in to your style as a couple. She captures so many incredible photos and knows every inch of Twenty Mile House. She knows how to make you look amazing and her attention to detail is next level. She captures the essence of the couple
Rachelle is AMAZING! She was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She shot our destination wedding in Sayulita, MX. Did you know she travels without an extra cost!? I feel like that is unheard of in the industry and her package prices were comparable and even slightly less expensive than other photographers that lived in the area. Her communication was great and she arrived on time day of and was great at keeping us on schedule. We received our albums within a couple of weeks and absolutely loved the results. She keeps your color and "filter" preferences in mind for post processing and the moments she caught were pure magic. I highly recommend if you are considering her for your wedding! -

Rachelle is AMAZING!
Rachelle was absolutely amazing. She shot both of our engagement and wedding sessions, which allowed us to get to know her before our big day. Other than taking gorgeous pictures, Rachelle is super nice, helpful, and accommodating during sessions. She has a way of perfectly capturing the moment without distraction! 10/10 would recommend her! -

The best!!
Rachelle shot our wedding at Twenty Mile House and we just got the pictures back (very quickly I might add). She is AMAZING!!! I have even had people from Houston asking me for her information! I can't believe that one person was able to take all of those pictures, especially during the ceremony. She knows the venue so well, so pictures were quick and seamless. We first met Rachelle at our engagement shoot and I will say we are NOT models and feel super awkward in front of the camera, but Rachelle made it fun and easy for us and got some great shots in the process! She also played a role in the planning of the wedding timeline which was super helpful. She was quick to answer any email. I can't recommend her enough!! -

Rachel Sent on 07/23/2018We had our April 2017 engagement shoot at the San Francisco Golden Gate Park, and our June 2018 wedding at one of Plumas' finest (if not the best) outdoor wedding venues - the Twenty Mile House. No doubt, Rachelle nailed our photos in every way. We wanted documentary-style, vintage-feel photos to represent both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Rachelle is talented, professional and easy to get along with. The last thing we wanted is to have an intimidating photographer who would make us feel uptight in front of the camera. Rachelle has a way of bringing out our natural actions, body movement and facial expressions on each photograph. She has a keen eye for special wedding moments, and makes sure she captures them in full drama. Lastly, it doesn't take long for her to release her work, as opposed to many photographers that take months to complete. Thank you for helping us preserving our special moments!
