Complete wedding + event services were an 11 out of 10! The most friendly staff! From the owner Eric, to the planning coordinator Claudia, to our DJ Shawn! They were all extremely professional and responsive to any and all questions. Shawn was early for set up and ready to rock in a very timely manner. He kept the flow of our wedding running smoothly from the start of the ceremony to the last song of the night. He was completely in tune with the vibe of our guests and played the perfect music throughout the day! My husband and I were on cloud 9 the entire day because of how well everything flowed. We have been blessed beyond words by Complete Wedding + Events!!! -

Complete weddings was so professional from the very beginning of us hiring them! They do all the thinking for you with their detailed forms you fill out on their website. Our multiple video calls were always so thorough and so much fun! When it came time for the actual wedding our live music and DJ kept the night upbeat and exciting! They also kept everyone in sync and the night was perfect with their professionalism!!! -

I am so happy with every service I used from Complete Weddings and Events! What a great team, including Claudia and Eric, as well as my photographer and videographer. They were very responsive to my questions and needs. Claudia worked with the production team to help me with an extra request I made. Eric did a stellar job as our DJ. His approach with being upbeat and positive, following the details, reading the crowd and checking in with me made me feel so honored as the bride. Sarah was incredible and insightful as our photographer, and Robert was on top of it with excellence, even providing extra footage for our guests at the reception. And the photo booth was a hit! I highly recommend Complete Weddings and Events! -

The best!!
We had the best day with and so much of that was because of our experience with Complete! Our photographer (Erin & Bruna), videographer (Dustin), and DJ (George) made the day so fun and easy. We felt heard and loved and our requests were taken seriously. Highly recommend for your wedding! -

DJ George Washington was phenomenal. We supplied him with 2 suggested playlsits; one for dancing and one for background music. He didnt just press play for those songs. He came up with an appropriate order and introduced some of his own song ideas that fit in perfectly for what we wanted. He was like a mind reader and he was instrumental in assisting on the day of in overall coordination and flow of the wedding event.
James, the Photobooth technician was excellent. The Photobooth was such a nice fun add on to our wedding and James was terrific in assisting and hosting the Photobooth and required no direction, he took full initiative in set up and preparation. -

Overall: Working with Complete Weddings SD was one of the best decisions we ever made as a couple! They were very responsive, professional, and will make sure your day exactly the way you want it! George Washington was AMAZING at our engagement party! 10/10 recommend!! He completely ensured that the setlist was tailored to our style and taste. He was also very respectful to guests when they requested songs since we told him only to play songs that matched the vibe (and not all requests did). The photo booth was a hit and the attendant, Kylie, was super sweet and patient. Our photographer, Taylor, was very sweet as well. She even helped me with my dress , veil and jewelry as my bridal party was away. She took a million photos and took her time with us for our First Look. We can’t wait to get all of our photos back! Very professional, on time and excellent communication. Highly recommend this company for your event. -

This was the only vendor that I had to use with my venue. At first, I was annoyed that I couldn't use my own DJ. However, George Washington was perfect for our wedding. He was professional, funny, and helped to ease my concerns. Definitely recommend! -

Complete Weddings made the music for our big day so perfect! Brando was our DJ and he had everyone dancing from the first song! He was responsive to my husband and I's wishes and questions and made the night so incredible. During the cocktail party, we had a live jazz band that I have heard so many great praises for. Our guests loved it. We also used complete weddings for our photobooth and they matched the screen to our succulent theme. It was a huge hit! CW also made it all extremely easy with their online portal. We could add songs we liked and organize the whole day online. I highly recommend working with this amazing company. -

Eric met with me in person and communicated with me through phone, text, and email very consistently. There are many wedding vendors to choose from, but few do you consider family after the last piece of confetti has been tossed! Our wedding was PERFECT thanks to Eric and his entire team at Complete Events SD. From start to finish, Eric consistently communicated and ensured that the vision for our special day literally became a reality. He added suggestions as any professional would, but he allowed us to really craft the event that we wanted. Complete Events SD provided Live Music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, our DJ for the reception, beautiful lighting and sound, and we asked Eric to officiate our wedding as well. He was so attentive to our desires and delivered a wedding ceremony for the history books. The baby grand piano and violinist added such depth to our ceremony and had guests enamored by the beauty of it all. Our DJ kept the reception fun and created the perfect classy-party atmosphere we wanted for all our guests, young and old. Everything was beyond expectation and made our day so unique and memorable. By the way, as the bride and groom boarded a flight for their honeymoon, Eric was personally in line at USPS mailing our marriage license out so there would be no delay. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and would choose Eric, and Complete Events SD over and over again! Your clear and only choice for the most important day of your life should be Complete Events SD! You will NOT be disappointed. Eric, you are amazing human being and wonderful soul! Complete Events SD MADE my wedding what it was. I was a pretty laidback bride but the one thing I did care about what the atmosphere. I’ve always been one to notice the bad lighting in a room, the awkward pauses between songs or the annoying vocalist in a song that a restaurant plays on their speakers throughout the restaurant while eating dinner. Complete Events SD made every part of our wedding magical - the ceremony, the happy hour vibes, the first dance etc - i would highly recommend these guys for your wedding or any other event. They’re prices well, excellent, easy to work with and definitely seasoned in their craft! -

Complete Events SD did our wedding music. They provided live music for our cocktail hour and then transitioned into DJ for our dinner party and dancing. We absolutely loved Eric and his assistant (I believe it was his brother). They were on top of the timeline. As the night went on and he spoke to the crowd or introduced different toasts/speeches, he was fun, funny, and entertaining. They were helpful in getting the needed supplies ready on time (I even saw them cracking glow-sticks to get ready for our grand exit). They played the songs we requested at the right times (even when some of them were very special requests that a regular DJ wouldn't have on hand regularly--- He must have downloaded them beforehand to make sure our night was perfect).
I highly recommend Eric and Complete Events SD and his company to anyone planning a party/wedding! -

DJ Jared was great to work with! It was reassuring how responsive he was, and how well he seemed to get our vibe in our planning meetings. He did an amazing job with our ceremony audio - he did a great job cropping the songs as needed and playing them seamlessly. The background music was great, too - we gave just a few descriptions and example songs, and he immediately understood the vibe, and was able to slowly increase the energy of the songs throughout the evening. The reception music was also great, from the scheduled dances to the open dance floor. Jared was professional throughout the night, and was a great MC who didn't say anything awkward or more than was needed. When we asked him to shift the genre a bit during the open dance (because one of our genres was being played a lot), he took our request in stride and switched to the other genres we liked. -

Eric and his entire team were incredible partners from start to finish during our wedding planning. We hired Eric, DJ Christian, and the Complete Photo Booth services to perform during our wedding ceremony and reception and I cannot say enough positive things about their team.
We put together a few Spotify playlists to share with Eric and DJ Christian that were probably longer than they needed to be and they were very consultative with what we were going for. They gave us great feedback and guidance throughout each step of the process and were very patient and easy to work with.
Eric performed our ceremony songs with some super talented guitarists (acoustic and electric) and they nailed every song that we requested. There was not a dry eye at the ceremony and they helped make an already beautiful day even better.
DJ Christian was so fun and easy to work with when putting together our first dance songs, dinner playlists, and he absolutely crushed the dance hour. He made sure that there was music being played that every could dance to, from our older family members to our younger cousins -- everyone was having a blast. DJ Christian did a fantastic job of getting to know who we were to cater to our tastes and vision for the wedding. He was also able to mix in a few specific song requests that my wife and I had made -

Our DJ, Joseph ‘JB’ Buchanan was amazing. We first spoke with JB about a month before our wedding date and he immediately made us feel at ease. After our phone conversation where he got to know us and our taste in music, we gave him a long list of songs for each part of the wedding, and he put together a playlist to help set the mood flawlessly. When we met him in person the day of our wedding, we could tell he was the perfect fit. He gave off such positive vibes and connected with us and our guests. We highly recommend JB for any DJ services that you need! Christian was our photobooth operator. He took care of business, was friendly, and was accommodating. He even changed a few photos from color to black and white and back again for some of our guests who wanted variety. -

We are writing this review with a heavy heart. Despite having a great wedding, we are VERY disappointed in the DJ service we received and will not be recommending Complete. The entire planning process was not well structured and we didn't get to meet or talk to our DJ until 1.5 weeks before our wedding. We even had to chase down the coordinator and reminded them to reach out to our DJ since the DJ hadn't initiated contact. We had some questions that would've been nice to address early on but since Complete left everything to the last minute, by then everything was already planned out. In the one Zoom call we had the week before our wedding, we detailed out our song choices, the order of the songs, and our vision for the ceremony very clearly but just because you explain something to someone, doesn't necessarily mean they get it. On the day of the wedding, so many things went wrong with the DJ service. To start, I had a song for my 3 bridesmaids to walk out to and that song did not get played until the last bridesmaid was almost at the end of the aisle. Since the song played late and only played for 15 seconds tops, there was an awkward transition between that song and the next song. If that was all, I probably would have overlooked it and moved on but the biggest disappointment came from the DJ playing the WRONG song for my entrance! The bride's entrance is the highlight of the ceremony and DJ George messed it up. He explained that there was an issue with the song not playing (sound not coming out) and it somehow ended up skipping onto the next song. George was there 2 hours early to set up and could have run a quick rehearsal to ensure there was no issue with any of the songs so I'm not sure if this was just one of his off days but it was completely unacceptable. For our first dance, George also started the song a bit too early so we went into the dance a bit off beat and since we already had enough disappointment, I felt I could not let our first dance also be ruined so I stopped midway and requested to restart the song and thankfully the dance turned out beautiful afterward. Moving onto the centerpiece game, DJ George completely misunderstood the assignment. We only wanted 1 song to be played but he played several songs under the impression it's an elimination game so the game dragged out longer than we expected it to. We also didn't want the loose change from the centerpiece game. The idea was whoever had the money at the end got to pick if they wanted to keep the money or take the centerpiece home. If they pick the centerpiece, the money goes back to the person who originally volunteered it and vice versa if they pick the money then the centerpiece goes to the person who volunteered the money. Lastly we had a list of top 10 must play songs and needless to say, not all of those songs were played therefore we deeply regret booking Complete for our wedding and are unlikely to recommend their DJ service.
