Where do I BEGIN???? From the moment I saw a Compass Film production I fell in love. And when I had my first consultation with Valerie, I knew my prayers were answered. She was so kind, patient, flexible, and attentive, that even with the stress of wedding planning, I looked forward to speaking with her and the Compass team!
Caleb was INCREDIBLE! He came in, summarized the situation with such skilled intellect that not only did I not need to ask any questions, his succinct summary completely helped me to understand creating video from a wedding timeline perspective and confirmed that my husband and I were in the best and most capable hands!
Our videographer (Henri) was AMAZING!! His incredible eye and attention to detail was impeccable!! It was the BEST experience working with a vendor and anyone who chooses this company will be BEYOND grateful that they did. Henri knew exactly what shots to take and my family and friends all commented on how impressive he was to watch and how excited they were to see the end result!

We really enjoyed using Compass to capture our wedding day on video! We received a digital highlight reel and 5-6 minute wedding film from them. We were also able to request all the raw footage from the wedding day which was a bonus! The team was super resonsive and amazing on the wedding day. We wouldn't have had it any other way! -

From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless, and on the wedding day they made everything so much fun. It’s so important to genuinely enjoy who you spend your entire wedding day with, and to us, they felt like part of our bridal party—hyping us up and making us feel completely at ease. When we received our highlight reel and full wedding video, I was moved to tears. They captured our day so beautifully, with the clearest, most stunning footage I’ve ever seen. I can't recommend Compass Films enough - not only was the final product beautiful, but they were also incredibly responsive and great to work with leading up to the wedding and afterward. Caleb and his team really helped to make sure things ran smoothly on our wedding day. We wanted to get all group photos done before our ceremony so we could attend our cocktail hour, and he was great at keeping everyone organized and on time. Our pictures and videos came out beautifully, and they were very accommodating of any edits that we requested. You won't regret choosing Compass! -

Compass was absolutely one of the most fun vendors we had. We knew from our initial interview that we would get along with Caleb and his crew and we were not disappointed come wedding day. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable just being ourselves and they provided great direction to get the perfect shot. Our reel and full film turned out better than we could have ever imagined. They were very professional and my husband and I have watched our film a thousand times over, in awe of the love they captured on our special day.

Absolutely loved working with them
Planning a wedding was already stressful but trying to find a videographer and photographer that both match how you expect your wedding day to look is hard! Once I found compass films I knew I was in good hands and that they would be able to capture our day the way I imagined. With speaking with Caleb and going through the whole process to working with Marcie and Jared on my wedding day was seamless. We just got our highlight video back and it is amazing the work that they do. Every second of the video is just how I imagined the day. Compass Films was one of the best decisions that we made when choosing vendors for our wedding. From the responsiveness, flexibility, and kindness/patience of Valerie. To our videographer, Henri, who honestly made us both feel so comfortable (we're both nervous in front of cameras) and captured our day beautifully. I personally have a hard time seeing myself in photos and videos, and all I could see was how beautiful the day was and how much love there was. That really speaks to Henri and Compass Films as a whole. Madison with the editing team was also the sweetest and most accommodating person ever. While we liked the first song that was put on our highlight video, when we requested it to be a different song (one that is special to us specifically) she was immediately willing to update it for us. Overall, this company has been a joy to work with and has some of the most amazing people working with them! If you choose any vendor, let it be this one! -

Compass Films was a dream to work with! They were very proactive in creating the photography timeline ahead of our wedding, and were very creative in helping us solve logistical constraints! On the day of, our videographer and photographer truly went above and beyond to capture incredible footage. They literally sprinted from the church to the reception venue to capture our entrance! I could not say enough about how hard they worked and how much care and attention they had for our wedding. I will be recommending this team to my closest family and friends! -

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Compass Films. They were recommended by our Venue & our wedding planner and as soon as they arrived on site we knew why. They were very interactive with the wedding party and checked in to make sure everyone was comfortable and confident in the footage they were taking. They were close by all day and they had great suggestions for the group that helped make our video come to life! The video we received was nothing short of brilliant and exceeded all of our expectations! Everyone we have shown it to says that its like watching a movie trailer! Okay so, my assumption is that the bride is generally the one writing these reviews, but let me give you the perspective from the groom.
I hate taking photos, being asked to take a selfie or having someone take a billion photos of you drives me absolutely nuts. I am not quite sure what it is about photos, but have always been annoyed by them. The photographers for my wedding genuinely altered my opinion of photos. They were personable, fun, interesting, and obviously, remarkably good at their job.
To get seven guys in their 20s organized for photos was an unbelievable task the photographers successfully completed. The entire process was amazing. One side note, Caleb is a complete badass. This was a man with a mission, and man that was focused on doing a great job. He worked hard and made sure his product was absolute class.
Throughout the entire wedding the photography staff was perfect, and I do not use that word lightly. They were in the middle of the action, capturing unbelievable photos, yet they were never in the way. They were organized and determined, yet they were never demanding. They were fun, engaging, and entertaining, yet not immature.
I would recommend this company for anyone’s big day. -

I will recommend compass films to everyone ! They were amazing! I originally chose them because they had the look i was going for and were within my budget. There editing is modern and on trend but neutral enough to always look classic! however, this is just a small part of why we loved them.
They have great communication and were extremely professional and flexible. They were very positive and had a huge part of making the day run smooth and making me feel confident in the flow of the day. I am sad its over!! Amazing people and business ! -

Where do I even begin with expressing how much I adore this team?! I was so nervous about my wedding day photos. I struggle with my self-confidence a lot and was so worried I would not love my pictures on my wedding day. I didn’t even get engagement photos done because it gave me too much anxiety, but this team knocked it out of the park!!! Not only were they the biggest hype crew I have ever met and made me feel absolutely stunning, but the pictures I have received from my sneak peek have blown me away and brought me to tears! Caleb and his crew were extremely professional, but also some of the coolest, most down to earth people you could ever meet. They kept us laughing and feeling amazing all day! I remember Caleb showed me a picture on his camera he took, and I screamed because I could not believe how good it looked! I wish I could get married again just to work with this team again! I will be recommending them to everyone I know who is getting engaged, married, or just wants some phenomenal photos and/or videos! I searched for a long time for the perfect fit, and I am so thankful I landed on Compass. They are extremely reasonable on their pricing for everything you get and the quality is out of this world! This team is genuinely invested in every couple they meet and will not let you down. Thank you so much Caleb and team for giving me memories that will last a lifetime. I'm a fellow wedding photographer in Atlanta, and professionally, the few times I've worked with Caleb have always been a joy. I knew I needed Caleb and his team to document my OWN celebration that was affected by COVID-19.
Caleb was kind and the entire process of working with him was a joy. We felt truly cared for and treated like friends. We received a 1-minute trailer within a few weeks of the wedding and our full feature right before Christmas. His frames and lighting was intentional, and the coloring made us feel nostalgic. We can't help but watch our video again, and again, and it's truly a treasured piece of art that serves as a tangible reminder of the love we share. We can't wait to keep watching this and hear our vows as we grow old together. Caleb's work is painterly, emotive, and stunning. If you're on the fence about whether or not you need video, do yourselves a favor and have Caleb be a part of your day. You won't regret it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Caleb! -

Highly recommend- professional yet fun, caring, diligent and talented!
I cannot recommend Compass Films enough! From our first communication, Caleb was very professional, organized, kind, trustworthy, patient and went with whatever my vision was even if it changed over our year and half engagement. Their prices are SO fair for what you get in each package. We had 2 photographers and 2 videographers for 10 hours of our wedding day, so not a MOMENT was missed I am sure. It was nice having a photo and video person with the guys during the day and the other two with the girls while we all got ready - I can't wait to see everything! It was also really nice to have two during the speeches and dances to have multiple angles (I.e., One video on speaker and one on the couple's reactions). This is a family-owned company and all of the talented staff are similar in their kindness and you can tell they've done this many times together, so everything just flowed really well. We had a wild group too and their team was so patient and everyone at the wedding had nothing but nice things to say about Compass and how they took the lead in making sure they got everything captured, but in a nice, calm, collected way. I am so so excited to see the rest of our footage (we got sneak peek pictures after the wedding but so much more to come!). Caleb created a whole Google doc for us on a very specific timeline to keep us organized on on-track, and worked with my planners and myself on it. He included "must-have" shots that I had found on Pinterest and such. He also gave us recommendations throughout the process on family pictures and lineups, and worked closely with us to make our vision come true, in which his wife Rachel and her two brothers and one other woman executed on the day of! They were all the sweetest. I will say, it took me many many months to find a photo/video combination that worked for us. It was one of the more stressful searches as many are so pricey, didn't offer as much in their packages, didn't have the responsiveness or kindness/chill vibes that I was looking for. When my planner found them and sent, it took me almost no time to pull the trigger and I felt confident throughout the whole process with them. While photo/video was very important to me in that I wanted to be impressed by the footage, I didn't want taking pictures to consume my whole wedding day, or have a bunch of posed pictures - I wanted to enjoy the moment more than anything, have a bunch of candid shots, and Compass made this vision so easy on the day of. (Note: If you want a bunch of posed pictures though, they can certainly do this for you! Just wasn't my vision but again, they will be happy to customize things as you want). Seriously check them out, reach out for package options (they are very customizable!) You won't regret it, I hope we can all stay in touch for years to come and I will definitely recommend and use again for any occasion that I want professional photo/video that will be sure to capture any special day. -

When looking for a videographer for our wedding, the thing that was most important to us was a personal, unique feeling mixed with affordability. We were working on a smaller budget, but knew that we wanted something more than a recording of our wedding so that we could remember the overall feeling and joy of the day. We wanted something that we could look at in good times and bad to recall where we started out. Caleb and Rachel did all of that and so much more.
When they arrived at our venue for the wedding, they were both incredibly personable, adding to the fun of the day rather than making me feel more overwhelmed. They worked alongside the photographers seamlessly, reassuring us and encouraging us throughout the day. We felt that they were more like friends than just videographers!
Following the wedding, Caleb and Rachel went far out of their way to make sure we loved the video, even when we made a request to change something months later. They went above and beyond to leave us with something that we could reflect on in the years to come. As we come up to our anniversary, we still tear up watching the beautiful video that they have given to us. They captured us, the venue, the little details, and the people who love us so well. Caleb and Rachel have truly been such a gift in our lives, and I would strongly recommend them to any couple that is hoping for videographers who will not only create something special for them, but add to the joy of their wedding day.

Firstly, I would like to say Compass Films is absolutely amazing. Caleb was so accommodating and very flexible. We were very lucky to have Caleb part of our wedding day. We were most impressed with his ability to convey our story. He had this way of finding the perfect moments and shots that will leave you breathless. Looking at my preview and actual video, he was able to capture the happiest, most fun, perfect lights in the spectacular settings allowing me to relive our unforgettable day. The short preview was absolutely beautiful and the wedding video was well put together. I am really glad I decided to hire Compass Films as my videographer. The interesting thing was that I had planned to use a different videographer, who backed out the last minute because of Hurricane Florence. And this was ONLY a few days before my wedding day (you can say I was pretty stressed). However, we were able to find Caleb, who was able to do this last minute wedding shoot. That proves to show how flexible and amazing Caleb is. In conclusion, the day went by so quickly and being able to watch the video (countless times already) reminded me of how amazing my wedding day truly was! If you decide to choose Compass Films to record your special day, you won't be sorry!

Amazing Vendor
The Maglotts are incredible! They showed up on time and worked with us to get a package that best suited our needs. They were incredibly discreet on the day of the wedding and still delivered a beautiful film that perfectly captured the day. We had some...difficult family members the day of that treated them poorly but they did not let it phase them and continued to do their job with grace. I would HIGHLY recommend these two if you're looking for a professional film experience. -
