My husband and I are from Tennessee and we did a destination wedding in Colorado at Sprague Lake. We didn’t really know what to expect, but I don’t think anyone was expecting the -1 wind storm we went through!!! Dan was absolutely amazing. He is worth every penny. He followed me and Trent’s wants and wishes, very well spoken, funny, and warm hearted. Above all else, he genuinely was concerned for everyone’s safety during the wind and ice we unfortunately had. A short story to describe Dan and his character - When he came to get me out of my parent’s car he noticed I didn’t have a jacket. He was frantically asking where my jacket was. We couldn’t find it, but I had a fur shawl. That was unacceptable to Dan! He went to dad mode, and looked me dead in the eyes and said “you are absolutely not getting out of this car without a jacket!” And he went and found me a jacket 😂!! I am so glad he did or I would have froze to death!! Me, my husband, and our family loved him. So many people had all kinds of nice things to say about him after the ceremony. We will forever be indebted to him for the experience we had 🩷🩷

Wonderful Officiant!
Dan was a wonderful officiant for my small wedding. My husband and I appreciated how Dan wove in personal details about our relationship and who we are as individuals within our ceremony while keeping it meaningful and focused. It was super helpful that Dan had a call with us before the wedding to walk us through all the details of the ceremony, ask questions, and feel comfortable with our ceremony. There were many areas where personalization/customization could be done to the ceremony. Dan was very flexible and open to our requests. Out of state couple got married in RMNP. I’m so glad we had Dan as our officiant. After only email communication he made our ceremony feel personal and put us at ease shortly after meeting him just minutes before the ceremony started. Lifesaver at 11,000 ft.
Dan was a wonderful coordinator for our wedding day. He was firm when he needed to be, and easy going the rest of the time. We had several last minute changes leading up to our wedding and he was completely unbothered and flexible with each email. We had only met Dan one time during an online meeting a couple of weeks prior to our big day, and when we got to meet him in person it was as if we had known him for years. It is obvious that Dan is a master of his service and all in all, it was great sharing the day with him.

Amazing officiant!!!
Dan was amazing from the start. He helped us create a ceremony that was exactly what we wanted. He was very kind and easy to talk to. We live out of state and he made the process very easy. During the ceremony he stepped out of the way for pictures, which also made it feel like my husband and I were in our own little world together as we read our vows. After the ceremony he assisted with the marriage license to make sure everything was properly filled out. We cannot thank him enough for helping make our day as special as it was.

With all that can go wrong unexpectedly, Dan helped put together our ceremony flawlessly. His professionalism and experience showed through and were top-notch. When we decided to elope to CO, we seriously did consider self-solemnization. Then we decided it might be nice to mix in a little traditional. We are so glad we did! Dan was an amazing officiant! From the moment he initiated contact after we were connected through the ceremony date, I felt comfortable, supported and heard. He does an amazing job pulling out information from his couples and definitely has a gift for making it feel like he knows you, when you truly just met in the parking lot 5 minutes earlier!

If you're looking for an officiant for your wedding, or micro-ceremony in the mountains like we had, look no further. Dan is the man to choose. Once requesting his services he was quick to communicate with us and set up a call. He did a fabulous job making our ceremony unique to us while incorporating traditional moments too. Aside from officiating our wedding he helped with directing us at our outdoor location, ensuring our marriage license was completed properly, capturing extra pictures of our special day and that we stayed warm the whole time. Micro-wedding in the Colorado Rockies!
Dan was the officiant we worked with through our wedding coordinator and he was perfect! He managed to create a beautiful and personal ceremony after only speaking with us for an hour over Zoom. He sent out a very detailed questionnaire and asked a lot of follow-up questions to make sure every detail of us as a couple was discussed.
Dan was able to customize the ceremony based on our personalities and made it seem like he had known us for years. After the wedding, he sent us pictures and videos he took behind the scenes, and he mailed back our vow books after we left them at the ceremony site. 10/10 if I had to do it all over again I would reach out to Dan and have him officiate again.

Drop everything and go get married by Dan right now!
Dan is an absolutely fantastic officiant!! We are so unbelievably thankful that we got connected with him. He officiated our 7am elopement in the mountains with enthusiasm and professionalism, and made the experience so fun and comfortable. He communicated with us well ahead of time to get to know us and our preferences for the elopement, and we were amazed at how he incorporated so many personal details into the ceremony. We also jumped at the opportunity to have him craft a custom song lyric poem - we can't recommend this enough!! Dan was such a good sport about the eclectic list of songs we gave him (including Fergie..), and the poem was AMAZING. It made for such a special and fun memory, and we are so grateful for the care and thought he put into it. We would recommend Dan to absolutely anyone!

We love dan!
Dan was an absolute dream. We hired him to be our officiant and our wedding coordinator - he provided a smooth, seamless experience and he made it so fun. As an officiant, he made sure to get to know us as a couple in order to personalize the ceremony - he succeeded in making our guests both laugh and cry in the best of ways. My husband and I both felt that he perfectly catered the ceremony to who we are as a couple. As a coordinator, I felt so at ease as the bride - he handled any hiccups that came up throughout the day without me even being aware of them, he ensured that my husband and I had anything that we needed throughout the entire day, he helped set up our decorations, he consistently checked in with guests to ensure they were doing well, he coordinated with all vendors to allow for a smooth event, and he made sure that the timeline went as planned while also allowing for a build in of any extra down time that we needed as a couple (i.e. eating our cake after the cutting, chatting with loved ones, getting a fresh drink, etc). We never felt rushed and everyone felt that the timeline was so smoothly run thanks to Dan working so hard behind the scenes for that reason. I would (and will) recommend Dan to anyone getting married! He was an integral part of our day and we are both so thankful that he was a part of it.

Our wedding simply could not have happened without Dan. His kindness, warmth, and humor as our officiant made our ceremony truly magical and unforgettable. And with his skills and professionalism as our day-of coordinator, our event came together more smoothly and seamlessly than we could have ever imagined. Two Words: The Best
We are still blown away at how seamless and well planned out our wedding was, and many of our wedding guests have marveled at how we were able to plan a wedding in less than three months; and the answer is Dan. He was flexible with our erratic schedules, planned and organized the wedding day including: corresponding with the venue, speakers, DJ, flowers, photography and everything else. His expertise also helped us navigate around mishaps (ie: how many toasters we'd need at the wedding and advising us on how to create a cohesive seating chart) and kept us on track to finish on time. At the end, Dan even helped us put away our gifts and trinkets in the car, just an all around amazing guy with extraordinary professionalism. We hope remarrying isn't in the future, but we'd choose Dan as our wedding coordinator every time 😆

Dan brings both professionalism and friendly advice to the table, and our special day went without a hitch thanks to him!
Dan took the time to get to know not only the both of us, but everyone involved in the ceremony. We planned our own wedding, and Dan's input on items like when the ceremony should be to have the best pictures or including a unity ceremony made our special day that much better.
We first reached out to him over text (which is great because I hate phone calls...) and he was super responsive and helpful right off the bat. We scheduled our first meeting within a week, and sat down at a local restaurant to start the process. He sent over a questionnaire for both of us to fill out (and didn't give me a word limit....) to help cater his words to fit our ceremony. Dan asked about how we met, what our future goals are, and common interests. He used our story during the ceremony, and even added in a couple of surprises that got the entire crowd laughing.
We ended up doing a glass pouring ceremony as the unity ceremony, and Dan had the fantastic idea to have someone say a few words during it. We decided to ask my brother to write a poem for the occasion and also be Master of Ceremonies, and had another wonderful meeting in person with Dan to go over everything.
Dan sat through my nonsense and 3" wedding planning binder, and helped quell so many fears I had about the big day. I emailed him random and sometimes silly questions before the wedding, and he quickly gave input as needed.
We now consider Dan to be a good friend, and have nothing but good things to say about him.

Dan is a very kind gentleman who asked just the right questions to get to know us before our ceremony. That quality is just what we needed living so far away from our elopement site. We needed someone that would make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Dan was just that person! He was responsive to questions. He was kind enough to send us reminder messages the morning of our ceremony to ensure we didn't forget anything that would be needed. We couldn't have asked for it to be any better. Huge thank you to Dan for making our ceremony seamless! Though we had only met Dan from a zoom call a few weeks before our wedding, it seemed like we have known him for much longer. He put in the time and energy to know us as a couple of create a ceremony that was the perfect fit for us. He was readily available to answer questions and inform us of how the day would go, he adapted our script as we requested, and he made us feel relaxed and comfortable. AMAZING experience
Dan was amazing from start to finish. Jamie and I loved working with him, we began planning with him over a year ago he was so easy to work with, very detailed and organized.
Last week was our magical day and Dan made it go as smoothly as possible! It was everything we could’ve imagined!

Meaningful Officiant - Dan Gustad
We were recommended Dan by our photographer and I will forever be grateful with her recommendation of Dan. From the moment we meet over zoom (which he was super flexible with us scheduling amongst all the other wedding chaos) he was so friendly, personable and warm which made us ignite an instant connection with him. All the way up to the wedding day Dan was on standby for any random question we had.
Wedding day Dan calmed all our nerves during the ceremony by adding in personal touches that made us laugh. He also added in a really cool idea of an unplugged ceremony! But most of all Dan really creating a ceremony centered around our family and relationship. He truly captured every aspect of who my husband and I we're in such a beautiful way. Not to mention that he kept the ceremony flowing in a timely manner. We feel like we have known Dan our whole lives. I truly recommend Dan for your wedding day (or whatever the occasion may be). All I can say is choose Dan to be apart of your big day! My husband and I are from Ohio and I found Dan while looking for someone online to officiate our wedding in CO. I instantly knew he was going to be a great fit for us. Not only was he very prompt and went above and beyond to get to know us, he also made us feel so special and did everything in his power to make sure our big day was perfect! Our ceremony was gorgeous, personal and had just the right amount of humor and love (just as my husband and I are). Dan even reached out several times after our wedding to let us know he was just a call away if we needed help with anything else which we could not be more thankful for. We were definitely nervous to hire a stranger to preform our elopement ceremony, but through getting to know Dan, we knew we had picked the right person. The day of the ceremony he was on time, professional, dressed very nice, and ready to get us married! We instantly felt comfortable with him as he led us through our ceremony. He wrote a beautiful and very personal ceremony speech, that felt catered to us and our story. We also have 5 kids, and he was wonderful with including them and making them be a part of this special day. We found our forever person, so we won’t be getting married again, but I would highly recommend him to anyone that feels a little nervous and wants someone that is very professional leading the ceremony.

Personal touches mean everything
From the first email interaction to after the ceremony, Dan made us feel special and important. He started off by sending us a questionairre and then we had a zoom call prior to the ceremony so he could get to know us. He took what we told him and turned it into a lovely, personal ceremony. He also gave us a copy of the ceremony afterwards and since we eloped, it meant so much to us because we could share the beautiful ceremony with our loved ones.

Dan went above and beyond for our ceremony. He took in great detail our relationship and turned our ceremony into my favorite part of the day. Everybody in our group was blown away with his work. I would highly recommend Dan for anybody wanting to get married in Colorado.

I planned my Colorado wedding from New Hampshire and I was completely stressed on how everything would turn out. After talking to Dan, he made everything feel so stress free. My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Dan as our officiant for our micro-wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park! Dan provided an amazing ceremony that was perfect in every way. For only knowing us for a short period of time prior to the ceremony, Dan's words were incredibly personalized. Dan was an absolute dream to work with. Extremely organized and his vast experience was very evident throughout the entire process. He had thorough video conferences and he even provided timelines to keep all of the recommended vendors in the loop. His responsiveness gave us peace of mind and clarity at the same time. Dan was outstanding throughout the whole process! I thought it was super awesome that we could personalize our prayers and how he added details in the ceremony that made it very sincere and personable. The perfect officiant/Coordinator
Dan made my wife and my wedding perfect. There were no snags, no troubles and no worries... or he put out all the fires before I even knew about them. His officiants speech was the perfect length and kept my wife and me in the moment. After the ceremony he helped us take breaks between pictures and even took some fun behind the scenes photos. I would hire him again in a heart beat. It's too bad we don't get another chance to hire Dan, he really made our day special and hassle free.

Hire Dan! You won't regret it!!
Dan did an AMAZING job with our wedding ceremony on 4/15/22. We gave him a jumbled mess of information and he made it into a beautiful script that was very unique and perfect for us. I was so nervous as I had never been to the venue nor met Dan in person and there was no rehearsal but he had everything ready. He helped direct us on where to stand and what to do and he made us feel comfortable. He was amazing and our day was perfect thanks to him! Thank you Dan!!!

We recently renewed our vows and honestly didn’t know what to expect, AND then came Dan! Dan is not only is a true professional, but he truly cares about making your ceremony a unique experience. If you are looking for someone who will pick up the phone to answer questions, Dan not only does, but he makes you feel like family. He is down to earth, genuine, and an absolute professional through and through and he truly cared about how our ceremony was delivered.

Dan truly played a huge part in how smoothly our day went! From the initial meeting, via FaceTime, as we are from NC, to the day of, Dan answered all of our questions and helped ease our minds. He also suggested the restaurant where we went after our wedding ceremony, Avanti. Dan helped set up chairs day of, and sent us a super visually satisfying schedule for day of that I ended up sending to all of our guests! A memorable elopement
Dan was an amazing officiant who made us feel at ease. We eloped in Colorado, and being from Florida, we were a bit nervous about how we were going to pull this off. Dan met with us over zoom and helped us work through vows, the wedding script and the flow. He also went above and beyond by helping us better navigate the Denver and Boulder areas. On the wedding day, he was eloquent and wove our story into the script. It was as if we'd known him for years. I would highly recommend Dan anytime!

The Perfect Day
We decided to cancel our big family wedding in Texas and have something intimate. We thought planning across state lines would be a challenge but Dan was awesome. He took all the stresses of planning away. He was very well prepared and was always available if needed. He was able to work with some very last minute changes as well. I couldn’t believe how smooth everything ran the day of. He personalized the ceremony and it seemed as if he knew us for years. You will not regret booking with Dan!

My new husband and I are from Texas and were traveling to Colorado for our wedding. We were initially nervous about the ceremony feeling awkward since we couldn't meet Dan in person but a quick zoom call one day fixed all of that. He sent us a script ahead of time and gave us options to fit our wants for the ceremony. He helped us decide on writing our own vows and I am so glad we chose to do that! It made our ceremony much more intimate and special. He always responded to my emails or texts and our wedding ceremony was beautiful thanks to him!
