Grateful for Colorado commitments

Kristen was amazing for day one. Quick to respond and answer any and all questions. Kept in contact leading up to our day. Due to the biggest snow storm in 3 years on our special day 3/14/24 we had to reschedule Kristen 2 additional times. She was set on making sure we had the day we wanted. Thank you Kristen for our special day

Perfect and so easy

I was getting married for the first time at 43, in the middle of a ton of other huge life struggles. I wanted a small intimate wedding with just a few witnesses that I could just show up to with our any fuss, planning or stress.... That's its exactly what I got, I showed up and every single last detail was done! Flowers, cake, champaign tost, PHOTOS, the ceremony.... Every last detail was taken care of and beyond perfect!

Perfect Day, Perfect Ceremony

Kristen was so wonderful and made our ceremony perfect! We felt so comfortable with her, she did such a fantastic job of getting us ready for our big day. I cannot say enough good things about Kristen!!

Stress free fantastic friendly service that made you feel relaxed.

Had the most fantastic day and I wish we could do it all over again. Coming from the UK to pick Colorado commitments was the best decision as so much was included in the price. Can't thank them enough for a day I will never forget.

Incredible Adventure Elopement

We can’t say enough about Rev. Laura, and how truly amazing start to finish this process is. I will and would recommend them to my family and friends. First class, yet simply elegant. Thank you for making our elopement so special and meaningful to us!

Flawless - perfect wedding

I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day. Rev. Laura responded to my inquiry within 20 minutes and we planned everything out in less than a week. The photographer was her husband and he was amazing in every way. She made the ceremony quick and meaningful. The location she helped us choose was perfect and the price was INSANELY good. They are undercharging by far.

Perfect day

We met Kristen back in September when she officiated my older brothers wedding. After their ceremony we knew she would be perfect for our upcoming big day. We spoke later on and booked her as quick as we could. As the big day approached we felt very comfortable with the communication and knowing what to expect come day of. Kristen sent options for ring vows and had everything from very traditional to cute and not so traditional (which we chose and was a huge hit). I could not recommend her and her team more. Everyone we worked with was amazing and made our day even better than it already was.

Spectacular!!!!

Kristen and her photographer were amazing! We had an officiant cancel on us last minute and we lived out of state. I contacted Kristen and she was so helpful and amazing. She gave me her availability and several locations to choose from. We picked what we wanted and she booked our photographer. Her pricing and efficiency was beyond anything I could of asked for. I recommend her to anyone for any thing you may need that she can help with!

Every detail of our ceremony was so meaningful

We are so grateful to have found Kristen! Even though we wanted just a simple elopement ceremony, she took the time to learn about us and to create a truly personal and beautiful wedding ceremony that meant so much to both of us. She was incredibly easy to work with throughout, and she took the time to answer every question we had along the way. She and the photographer were also so flexible in accommodating the place and time where we wanted our ceremony to take place, and they truly went above and beyond to help us create and capture every wonderful moment of that special day.

Could Not Have Imagined Better

We decided to have a call with Kristen as our potential officiant because she did non-denominational ceremonies. After our Skype call with her, we knew she was the one for us! Kristen made everything so simple and stress-free. We were given sample ceremony language to choose from and eventually crafted our own using bits and pieces from her examples. Once it began, the ceremony went even better than imagined thanks to Kristen's direction. Additionally, she was so comforting the entire time. I would highly recommend Kristen to anyone getting married in Colorado!! Could not have asked for a better experience. Kristen made our day so special to the both of us. Thank you so much!!

Kristen was great, we had to change the venue of our wedding a week before from the east coast because of a hurricane. We didn't have any time to really plan things out and pick a specific location. Kristen was very helpful and very flexible. She took a bunch of pictures for us as well, and was so great. Thanks for helping make our day great!

Kristen took care of everything for us. We came from out of state so we didn’t know CO marriage laws, she had us covered. We couldn’t get the location we wanted and she found us a better one. We got to the location an hour earlyShe responded quickly and made sure everything was taken care of. Our pictures were beautiful and the ceremony was a great value. Would definitely recommend!!!

Kristen was wonderful! She got back to me immediately with details about the package we selected and recommendations on venue sites! She was very professional and super accommodating, we changed venue sites back and forth a couple times due to windy weather but she went along with our final decision no problem! She is very sweet and made our special day easy and one of a kind! She helped with picture locations and ideas which was also very helpful! I couldn't have pictured a more beautiful, easy going wedding day and it happened all with her help!!

I need to start off by saying that I didn't actually hire Rev. Kristen to officiate our wedding ceremony; however, I felt compelled by Kristen's quick and helpful responses to post a review for her anyway, and I'd like to point out that the reason we didn't hire Kristen was not due in any way to any failure of character or professionalism on her part. She was extremely courteous, friendly, and professional throughout all of our discussions back and forth, and she always made sure to get back to me as soon as she could, which I really appreciated. As to the reason why we chose to go with another officiant, it mainly boiled down to the fact that Kristen was unable to send us a sample of her ceremony script ahead of time (due to people who had taken advantage in the past), and would have required we upgrade to another package if we wanted to edit the script in any way (other than cutting words/lines, which she said we could do at no additional charge). I in no way hold these things against her, though, and I completely understand her reasoning for doing things this way--and these weren't necessarily absolute deal-breakers either--but they were, unfortunately, just two little things that ultimately factored in to an already tough decision. I have no doubts at all that we would have been extremely happy with Rev. Kristen's services, had we chosen her as our officiant instead, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly, professional person who will genuinely care about you and ensuring you have the best ceremony possible, and to anyone frustrated with others who are unresponsive, always making excuses, or are otherwise rude or inconsiderate.

Kristen officiated a small ceremony for us last night at The Greenbriar Inn in front of our parents. She was so kind and professional, and she made our experience one we will remember and cherish forever. You can tell she really cares about her job and her clients, and that she truly knows what she is doing. She made the process so easy for us- we were amazed by how well the ceremony flowed, especially considering the fact that we didn't do a rehearsal beforehand! Thank you so much Kristen, and we highly recommend Colorado Commitments to any other couple out there planning their wedding!

Kristen was wonderful! My husband and I threw this together last minute and from across the country (we live in Alabama). She had great locations in mind and we LOVED artist point. The vows she had were perfect and simple. The photos were amazing even unedited. We're giving them 5 stars! Thank you again for making our elopement perfect!

From the time we made contact with Kristen to all the way to our wedding day it was phenomenal. There are no words to explain just how wonderful and amazing our wedding day was. It is because of number 1 God bringing me and my new husband together and then connecting with Colorado Commitments. It was so much more than we ever expected and so affordable. I honestly dont even know where to begin! We were so incredibly blessed to have worked with and met Kristen! From the moment I first contacted her she was absolutely wonderful and helpful ! My husband and I wanted a small intimate wedding for two and Kristen made sure it was just that! We couldn't be more pleased and happy how our special day went. It was all we ever wanted and more in the most romanticly perfect location! Our ceremony was very sweet and well written. The price is extremely affordable considering everything that comes included in your package. We can't say thank you enough for all of your time and effort you put into our special day! Colorado Commitments could not have given us a more perfect day! From the time I first contacted Kristen to the wedding day, everything was was effortless. She made the process easy. The rates are AMAZING and go above and beyond the value. The flowers I got with my package were beautiful, the cake was delicious, the champagne was extra bubbly and the photographer was great! My husband and I worked with Kristen and loved her! We had to move our wedding by a few months and she was super flexible to what we needed. We had small wedding at the St.Julien Hotel it was us and 2 friends that happened in the worst blizzard so far this year in Boulder! My wife and I decided to elope to Colorado and did not know how to go about it all and Kristen was wonderful in helping us plan and have everything in order. Our day was perfect! She helped us pick the place and even gave us the information to make sure we had the license and everything ready to go and made it so painless that we had no worries at all.

Emails and text messages were responded to quickly - guidance was given when requested and she followed up to help keep us on track. Kristen did such a great job with our custom ceremony! She was so kind, warm, and professional. I knew as soon as we met her that we were in good hands! She even took care of mailing in our marriage license after the wedding so it could be recorded. Our schedule was little difficult because we got married in Boulder, but we live in LA. Kristen was very accommodating and did her best to fit in our meetings during our limited time in Boulder. When we weren't able to make it work, she made sure to go over everything by phone so we felt totally comfortable and prepared.

We used Kristen as our officiant for our sunrise wedding recently. I emailed Kristen and she was very quick to respond. Hoping she was available (as I had seen that she had officiated other weddings at our wedding venue), she was very flexible and accommodating. We gave her short notice of 2 months and also asked if she could officiate a 6:30AM wedding. Kristen didn't hesitate and she was available (whew!). We met with her and she was so helpful with planning out what the ceremony would be like, drew visuals of the venue and what to do, since we opted not to have a rehearsal, and was very communicative through the whole process. I would recommend Kristen for her attention to detail, responsiveness, and she made our ceremony feel so comfortable with the nerves all around. Thank you Kristen for helping our early morning wedding go smoothly!

Kristen was amazing! We decided to cancel our big wedding and elope instead. We also moved our date from 11 months out to just about a month! After searching the Internet, I found Kristen and thought she was too good to be true! The package had everything: Offiant services, photographer and photos, cake, champagne, bouquet, and boutineer. The price was right as well, so of course we booked! Kristen was so helpful through every step of the planning process, as we were in Florida planning a Colorado elopement. She even helped us pick our vows and a beautiful spot up on a mountain. I told my best friend about her who also booked for a September wedding! Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have chosen a better officiant for our elopement. Kristen was great and accommodated all of our needs even with short notice. She even arranged for a photographer for our ceremony. I have zero complaints and highly recommend her to anyone planning to get married.

I can't say enough positive comments about working with Kristin. When we met her for the first time - she was on-time, organized, and kind. We both felt instantly comfortable with her and loved the fact that she offered day-of planning services. I did a lot of research to find an officiant that would truly customize our ceremony. We didn't want a textbook ceremony with overly cheesy wording - we wanted it to be about how me met, fell in love, and what we want for the future. We also wanted God and our families to be mentioned and thanked. Kristin suggested that we dedicate part of the service to our parents which was executed perfectly! Our parents loved every word she said and it was really special. Kristin also mentioned a "bowl of blessings" ceremony where everyone holds a rock and wishes/prays on it during the ceremony. We really liked this idea and also asked everyone to sign their names on the rocks afterwards. When we first sat down with Kristin, we told her we didn't want to say "I do" vowels which we find to be not personal but we also didn't want to write our own vowels and cry while reading them! Kristin allowed us to skip this part and we read them privately to each other after the wedding (we both wrote over a full page and certainly cried happy tears). I would confidently recommend Kristin to anyone looking to find an officiant that will make your ceremony about you two and have it be heart-felt, poetic, and fitting for the time frame you want.

Kristen created a customized ceremony for us that was incredibly sweet and heartfelt without being overly-sentimental. She struck the perfect balance -- with words that were at times sincere and serious with wonderful moments of lightheartedness and humor thrown in. We could not have been more pleased not only with the outcome, but with the entire planning process. Kristen was lovely to work with and she ensured we were pleased with every last word of the ceremony well before the big day. And if you aren't convinced yet....Kristen had a car malfunction a few miles from our venue and she hitchhiked (!!!) to make it to our ceremony on time. Yes, she's that awesome.

Kristen was great and just what we wanted/needed. After we were a little hesitant with the contents her first draft, she scrapped the entire thing and started over and the second time around was perfect. She was professional and that helped a lot guiding us (and all our relatives) through the rehearsal. Her flexibility in what the ceremony can be is wonderful for couples who want to personalize their wedding to fit them. 5 stars :)

Kristen was great! She was on time and found us easy (a tough to find pier in Grand Lake that everyone got a little lost trying to find), super sweet and a total professional. Through every phase of my contact with her from pre-booking questions, to booking, to ceremony, and pictures after ward, she has always had a prompt response. We are extremely grateful for everything you did for us, Kristen! You were well prepared, focused, unflappable, and the consummate professional - especially when the groom realized 5 minutes before the ceremony was to begin that he'd left the rings in the hotel room - 20 minutes (one way) away! Despite the delay, everything went off without further incident and you expertly guided us through a beautiful ceremony. We especially loved how, beforehand, you helped us fashion a ceremony that was perfect for us. If you are looking for an officiant, you cannot do better than Kristen. It turned out to be a great day! She's wonderful!

What an unbelievable, Kristen was very quick to respond to any questions, the location was beyond expectations. We met her and followed her up to the wedding location overlooking the canyon, It was breathtaking. Kristen made it fun, had beautiful real flowers, a cake, and the photographer did an outstanding job as well. thank you for making our special day, absolutely perfect!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better officiant than Kristen Hepp for our 5/2/15 wedding. We went into the ceremony planning with no firm idea of what we wanted. After discussing options with Kristen, we landed on just the right ceremony. Kristin quickly got a feel for who we are as a couple, and captured just what we wanted the ceremony to be. It was so personal, that you would have thought we were lifetime friends. She incorporated readings that we chose and included our children and grandson in the ceremony. The ceremony was perfect. Kristen was delightful to work with and brought eloquence and a sense of humor to the day! We had many compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and Brian and I couldn't agree more. Thank You Kristen and Colorado Commitments for making our wedding day an event we will never forget!

Kristen was amazing from start to finish. She responded to all of our communication quickly and thoroughly. When the weather didn't cooperate with out original plan, she let us change the plan several times the day of while we scrambled to decide what we wanted to do. My husband was busier with work than he had expected to be, so she worked with him at the last minute to choose the right vow that he wanted to say. Our flowers were perfect and she somehow managed to give me exactly what I had pictured, although I gave absolutely no instructions. She expertly pinned the boutonniere and brought cake and champagne that was so adorable. Her photographer took beautiful pictures and had them to us quickly so we could enjoy them!

I cannot recommend her highly enough. She made our low-key elopement feel like the most amazing day of our lives!

Kristen is a wonderful person she helped me in a very short time since my husband and I wanted to go to Colorado and get married in a spur of the moment. It was Valentine's weekend and she had others on her plate. She fit us in and she gave me some great options. Thanks to her our wedding day was awesome. Rev Kristen Hepp was outstanding from start to finish. I first contacted Kristen about a month before our actual wedding date. She returned my phone call the same day and was open to telling me all about her professional experience and I shared my ideas with her about what me and my now husband wanted. We met for coffee a few days later. She came prepared with all necessary documents to sign to secure the date and also reviewed ceremony and vow options with us. She was prompt and enthusiastic about our ideas. I was very impressed that she could make us feel so comfortable.

We were married 12.13.14 and opted for a package that was very resonably priced and included cake, champagne, boutonnière, a bouquet of flowers for me,15 photos and we were even able to choose from a variety of flavors and flower options ahead of time. The day of Kristen and her photographer were on time to our cabin. They set up all documents to be signed after the wedding and even brought portable flutes, plates, and plastic wear to enjoy our delicious cake and champagne. We wanted a very private, beautiful, ceremony along the river behind our cabin and that's exactly what was delivered.

The perfection to me of it all was attention to details and how special they made us feel. The little things like Kristen being early to help me with my dress, the photographer taking a few extra photos for us on our phone to send to our family right after, and Kristen offering to file our certificate for us all meant the world to us.

Colorado Commitments, Kristen, and the photographer went above any expectations that Joey and I had. The photos turned out beautiful and were sent to me via DropBox just a few short weeks later. They even gave us extra photos at no additional charge.
I'd strongly recommend Kristen to anyone no matter how small or large of a gathering your wedding will be!

Kristen was a wonderful officiant for our wedding ceremony!! I couldn't have asked for anything more! We wanted a mountain side Christian wedding and really didn't have much direction on how to complete this outside of the church.. She gave us options, direction and advice on how to involve the kids, as this was a second marriage for both of us, yet keep it simple and directed toward us as a couple. The words chosen were a mix of what we wanted along with suggestions she provided and really just made it a simple and beautiful ceremony that I would hope every bride and groom gets to experience. Kristen Hepp was our officiant for our August 31st wedding. She is very professional and puts everyone at ease right away. We had a meeting with her prior to the wedding. She provided us with some questionnaires and some examples of vows to choose from. She personalized our ceremony based on the questionnaires and talking with us. After the ceremony, multiple guests and friends complimented her on the service. It was beautiful. She will make it as short or as long as you'd like it. She listens to your concerns and ideas. She then tailors your service to meet your needs. We highly recommend Colorado Commitments. We were very pleased and very satisfied. Thank you, Kristen, for sharing in our special day! Kristen was wonderful. The ceremony turned out exactly the way we wanted it to. She is very personable, upbeat, cheerful and a great writer snd speaker. Ceremony site and rehearsal times had be to changed because of the floods and she was very flexible. Alittle 'flub' happened in the middle of one of the vows on our part and she was able to smooth it over and keep moving and it even got a laugh. It was wonderful.

It was a perfect wedding. We had planned a place that didn't have rain coverage. Kristen found us another venue that had a gazebo, where we could still be outside. Mother nature gave us a break though. It was all we could hope for and more. Thanks again for helping make our dreams come true.

Kristen did such a great job with our ceremony! Even though we had only met once before the wedding, it seemed like she knew us so well. The ceremony was beautifully written and had a little bit of each of us in it. We chose to do a hand fasting and I'm so happy we did! It was so unique and everybody told us they loved it and had never seen that at a wedding before. Kristen was so organized and was great at communicating with us through email. She ran a perfect rehearsal the night before the wedding and assured us that everything would run smoothly! She gave us just what we wanted and we couldn't be happier. Thank you, Kristen!!

Kristen was wonderful. We spoke with her in person once a year out from the wedding and she took care of everything after that over e-mail. Our service was personal and lighthearted and our guests really enjoyed it. She was very professional at the rehearsal and kept everything going with the flow even though I was stressed to the max. She even offered to wear her family's kilt to match my husband's kilt (we had a Scottish handfasting). Our hand-calligraphed wedding certificate is beautiful. I was so pleased with her and I would absolutely recommend her and her services to any other bride.

Kristen calmed our nerves and went with the flow, even when we decided to go bare foot at the very last moment. The ceremony was lovely, she wrote it beautifully. She helped us with our vows, and included all of the little things we wanted, which included prayers and handfastings.

Ours is a joined family, so it was important that our kids were included, and she did a wonderful job of that as well. Thank you Kristen, for all of the details, and for every email offering me advice!

We eloped to Colorado on New Year's Eve and were so happy we found Kristin! She found a photographer, a cake, and even helped us find the kind of hotel we were looking for! We hired Colorado Commitments to officiate our ceremony but also got some of her staff to coordinate our rehearsal and ceremony and reception. The ladies did a fantastic job making everything perfect!!! The ceremony was amazing and just what we wanted, and the extra help with the coordination really helped us just relax and enjoy not being stressed out. Highly recommend them for your wedding day.

Kristen at Colorado Commitments was an absolute angel!! She wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and made our day truly blessed and special. At the rehearsal Kristen went above and beyond to assist with little ones, the flow of the ceremony, as well as keeping me (the bride) calm! She made us a beautiful hand calligraphed marriage certificate and gave us copies of our vows. The entire ceremony was written from scratch and she did an amazing job! I will definitely recommend her to anybody I meet that is getting married!

Kristen did an amazing job! She was very organized and kept us informed and on track from day one. She worked with us to make sure that we got the ceremony that we wanted and the final product was perfect, and she delivered it beautifully.

My husband and I are from out of town and wanted to renew our vows. Colorado Commitments was wonderful to work with. Kristen was easy to communicate with and offered several outdoor locations. Everything was stress free and taken care off. The cake was delicious and the flower bouquet was perfect. I would definitely recommend Colorado Commitments to anyone looking for an easy care free wedding option.

All around fantastic experience! I don't think we could have planned a better ceremony for ourselves if we tried. She asked us a lot of questions to get to know us, and it paid of huge as the ceremony seemed to be a perfect fit for us from beginning to end! And best part was she was way more affordable than just about anyone else we saw out there for the level/quality of service provided. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The wedding service was beautifully written it was a little far fetched some of the time. We were able to look over a rough draft of the ceremony a head of time and make changes if desired. That was beneficial to us. We did how ever feel some hostility from the Rev because our bridesmaids arrived right before the ceremony, leaving her unable to do a practice run through with them. She was a bit pretentious, it seemed as if it was her day and not ours.

Deposit nonrefundable no matter what the circumstance. We had a family emergency (my father had a massive heart attack; I had to fly home to take care of him) & we had to postpone our wedding. I notified Kristen, who I had spoken with briefly & emailed a few times to secure a date; I had yet to sign her "service contract", but she had collected a deposit from me. Never offered to return my deposit, which was a red flag for me considering the circumstance. She did offer to apply my deposit towards our new date, but was unavailable the week we need her.

I can NOT believe Kristen contacts me today 3/1/2017 and asked me if I can change my wedding time from 5 p.m. to 9-10 a.m.!!!!! We are suppose to get married on 4/20.....now I won't be able to find someone to do it. There is no way we can get married that early in the morning! I have had this planned for months now and I have everything set up for 5:00 p.m. hair apt., limo ride & dinner after EVERYTHING WAS ALREADY PLANNED FOR THE EVENING now at the last minute she wants me to change my time to early in the morning. This is TOTAL BS for her to expect me to change everything. Now maybe if it was only a few hours difference but no 9:00 am that gives US NO time to get ready in the morning. This is so NOT GOOD!!!! NOW WHAT THE HELL DO I DO? Thanks for ruining the best day of my life.
