  Made us feel beautiful!

  Lauren was AMAZING! She was communicative and so fun to work with. She really listened to everyone and made sure to do their makeup in a way that made everyone feel beautiful. Even after dancing like crazy, our makeup stayed just as she had done it. Her travel fees are reasonable and she is super professional. I would definitely hire Lauren again!

  Lauren and her team is fantastic!

  Lauren was great to work with for my recent wedding. Her and her team provide hair and makeup on site for myself and my bridesmaids. I loved the more natural look that Lauren is so skilled at created. Plus she was so much fun to hang out with as we were getting ready. I am so glad she was available to work with me and my girls for my wedding! I would highly recommend working with her!

  Beautiful Hair and Makeup and Great Experience!

  I feel so lucky to have found hair and make-up services through Colorado Bridal Company for my wedding reception last summer! Lauren did a fantastic job on my bridal hair and make-up- it looked absolutely stunning and flawless in my photographs, as well as in person. As someone who normally does not wear a lot of makeup/hair product, I was incredibly happy with how comfortable I was throughout the entire night- and I looked and felt like a princess. She was able to create the exact look I was hoping for- and I didn’t even need to do a trial run! Lauren is also incredibly fun, friendly, and down to earth. She fit in with me and my girlfriends so well, and we all had such a great time getting ready with her. I would highly recommend her, not only for the quality of her services, but for the quality of the person you will get to work with. Thank you, Lauren!

  The best around!

  Lauren is the absolute best! I was terrified looking for someone to do hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party. Everywhere I looked I found dead ends or place that were just too over the top ( I'm not a huge pile on the makeup fan). I wanted simple, natural, clean, and we got just that! Our make up lasted all day even having to put a mask on in buildings. Hair was perfect through it all! Her personality is warm, inviting and SOOO much fun! I am so happy we found her!

  Working with Lauren and her team was absolutely amazing! Lauren really took the time to get to know me before my wedding day. I'm not a big makeup girl but Lauren made me feel incredibly comfortable and delivered a subtle yet flawless look for me. And she SLAYED my hair and gave me me the perfect messy fishtail side braid I was dreaming of. She was also so much fun on wedding day and fit in with all of my bridesmaids. We all loved her and her work. Thanks Lauren!!

  Colorado Bridal Company is AMAZING! The team is very professional, communicative, and easy to work with. They not only made my wedding party (and myself) look fantastic, but they also helped set a fun, positive tone that we were able to carry through the night. They never tried up-selling and were able to come to my home for my own convenience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  Absolutely Amazing

  I just had my wedding at Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings on June 8, 2021, and we chose Colorado Bridal Company to do my bridesmaids/flower girls hair, as well as my hair and make-up (the brides). Lauren Gibbs, the owner, was the stylist to come out to our hotel. She was on time and extremely professional throughout the entire process. Her proposal, contract and payment options were easy to access, sign and post payments. She was able to complete 4 bridesmaids’ hair and 2 flower girls’ hair, and then my hair and make-up in about 4 hours, keeping us on track for time. She was able to provide all the hair styles requested, and was even able to make a 6-year-old stay still long enough for her hair to get done. I chose airbrush make-up for myself, and of all the vendors I looked into, Colorado Bridal Company was the only one to include false eyelashes in their airbrush package. She also brough extra supplies in case someone wanted to add on anything last minute. We all looked absolutely beautiful for the wedding, and the hair styles and make-up held up all night! She even provides a military discount. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the services provided, the pricing was extremely competitive and fair, and I would 100% recommend her, and Colorado Bridal Company, to any future brides!

  Lauren was wonderful!! She made me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day. Lauren did a great job listening to my wishes, but also providing the direction and guidance that I needed (I don't often wear a ton of makeup, but wanted to feel a little glammed up!).

  I am so so happy that I decided to go with Lauren and Colorado Bridal Company for myself and my bridesmaids! The hair and makeup was absolutely beautiful and the ladies were very welcoming to feedback, offering more contouring or changing an entire hairstyle at our request. In addition to the A+ work, it felt like I was having my hair and makeup done by my old friends! The ladies were absolutely amazing and I cannot recommend them enough!!

  So after having her come to do my makeup fro my homecomings i’ve stuck with her since! I’m not typically the makeup girl so when it comes to makeup I trust Lauren with her choices in colors and hairstyles 100%. I cannot wait for her to do my prom!!

  Colorado wedding

  I chose the elopement package. I felt super comfortable working Lauren. She’s super down to earth and takes her business very seriously. I’ve never had someone do such a cute updo in like 5 minutes. When it comes to the make up I was really nervous it was going to be too much bc I am used to wearing very little make up. Lauren assured me it would be perfect for picture and she was definitely right. I only give three stars because I feel like the eye make up wasn’t well blended or anything I couldn’t do myself and the lashes weren’t for my eye shape. The lashes started to lift in the inner corner and I really only wanted lashes on my outer counter bc it looks best for my eyes.

  Did not fulfill contract

  Unfortunately Lauren canceled on me two days before my wedding due to covid (very understandable and out her control) and that she would refund me, but she could not find anyone to fill her spot. The contract we signed stated that 1. if she is not able to fulfill her duties she would have another person fill in, and 2. she would cover the extra cost of the additional person in that event. (neither of which actually happened) After the initial cancelation call, my bridesmaid and SIL called her to get more info as I was too upset, and they let me know she was very unsympathetic and just claimed everyone was busy. Luckily my coordinator found a replacement - and I found 2 in the area as well, so I question her efforts to find a new person. I even requested recommendations from her and she declined, stating she had already reached out to everyone she knew. It was almost like I was the burden, when I was just looking for assistance from someone that had been booked with me for a year. After the wedding, I requested extra money to cover what I had to pay to the new makeup artist, as stated in the contract, and she declined that as well. She put me in an extremely stressful situation 2 days before my wedding, scrounging to find a replacement during a very busy time, and all I got from her was a "sorry, but no" and a refund for the services she did not perform, which I think is the bare minimum. I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel other brides need to be aware before signing a contract with her, as it's possible that contract will not be fulfilled as stated and you may be left without help during one of the busiest times of your life. I understand times are different now and getting covid is out of someone's control, but she should not list those certain claims in her contract if she does not plan on fulfilling them. Even my coordinator was very shocked and disappointed, stating she'd never seen this behavior from a vendor before. I give her two stars because she did send her hair stylist who did a great job.

  Unfortunately Lauren canceled on me two days before my wedding due to covid (very understandable and out her control) and that she would refund me, but she could not find anyone to fill her spot. The contract we signed stated that 1. if she is not able to fulfill her duties she would have another person fill in, and 2. she would cover the extra cost of the additional person in that event. (neither of which actually happened) After the initial cancelation call, my bridesmaid and SIL called her to get more info as I was too upset, and they let me know she was very unsympathetic and just claimed everyone was busy. Luckily my coordinator found a replacement - and I found 2 in the area as well, so I question her efforts to find a new person. I even requested recommendations from her and she declined, stating she had already reached out to everyone she knew. It was almost like I was the burden, when I was just looking for assistance from someone that had been booked with me for a year. After the wedding, I requested extra money to cover what I had to pay to the new makeup artist, as stated in the contract, and she declined that as well. She put me in an extremely stressful situation 2 days before my wedding, scrounging to find a replacement during a very busy time, and all I got from her was a "sorry, but no" and a refund for the services she did not perform, which I think is the bare minimum.   The worst!!

  After reviewing every vendor for our wedding I would love to say I saved the best for last. Unfortunately this was not case. I waited to write this review because I had such amazing experiences with everyone we used except Lauren Gibbs and this was hard to write. I wouldn't give Lauren one star if I had the choice. Lauren was nice and communicated well at first when I was searching for a hair/makeup. She was a bit more reasonably priced considering the going rate and I decided to go with her. Unfortunately, as it got closer to my wedding I emailed her more than once and it took her a very long time to respond. When she finally did we talked about how she was going to need more hands then anticipated because we couldn't get into the venue until later in the day. I thought we had settled on what was needed but as the weeks got closer I contacted her again and she ghosted me. I sent several emails directly through her link with NO response at all. I finally reached her by phone. We talked briefly and I told her I understood how busy she was. We were supposed to reconnect via email later that day but it was a days later. I tried to confirm what we discussed but she responded as if we had never talked about her need for an extra set of hands. I reminded her of our previous discussions and I couldn't afford to pay more when we were already set to go. She felt doing me. I was thankful for the understanding although, there was a communication break down on her part. It was only weeks away from my wedding but I had a gut feeling that sent me on a search for a new stylist. However, being so late in the game there really wasn't much availability and I didn't have the energy to keep searching. Fast forward my wedding day and I was already stressed about the time crunch and the morning didn't go smoothly and I ended up being 20 minutes late...it was my bad because I lost the 20 minutes for my hair and makeup. As I got to the room I was very apologetic for being late and shouted up the stairs "sorry, are you going to kill me?" Trying to make light of it as well as apologizing for my tardiness. The first thing out of her mouth in a very nasty tone was "well I'm going to charge you!!" The way I see it if she was desent human with good customer service she would have helped to relieve some stress rather than add to the stress. That didn't happen at all! I was frustrated with her approach and she was upset that I was late to the service I paid for. She told me I disrespected her on my wedding daydisrespected her. Now mind you I did apologize for being late. We continued to have a heated discussion which included her assistant chiming in while excusing Lauren's behavior. That's when my family walked into a disaster. My sister and mom asked her numerous times to see if we could please make this work. My mom even offered to skip hers ALL together to get everyone else done and not cause stress for Lauren. My mom's tone was very apologetic although she did nothing wrong. Lauren wasn't having it and wasn't listening. She was caught up on making it about herself and how she couldn't work in these conditions. I told her more than once she could leave but everyone pleaded with her to stay. She finally left as more heated words were exchanged. She caused a great deal of stress and disappointment. However, all said and done we managed beautifully without her. After my wedding I contacted her to get my money back knowing I lost the deposit. She responded very shortly with how this will be her last communication and I could contact her through a lawyer. I simply reminded her that she provided NO service and needed to send my payment back but I decided to stop reaching out so I was no longer consumed by the thought of her. I contacted my bank to dispute the charge. It is sad to put these words down about someone and their business but I'd hate to see anyone go through what I did on their very special day.
