    Awesome vendor!!

    Working with Channon was a delight! She was so responsive and easy to work with. We rented a starlight tent with lights and heating for our November wedding in northern Maryland and everything went perfectly. We highly recommend CEG!

    Great experience

    We rented tents, tables, and chairs for our fully outdoors June wedding, and Event Central met our expectations and made the process easy. Their rental prices are the best in the area, and communication was professional and responsive to our requests for changes to our rental order. The day before our wedding, the set-up team came early in the day and worked quickly, which was a huge help for the rest of our timeline and preparations.

    Organized, Professional, Amazing

    I worked with Channon and could not speak highly enough for her and her team. I reserved tents, tables, and chairs for my 220 person wedding. Not only did I move locations 1 month beforehand, I made at least 10 changes of plans and reservations. Including less than 24 hours prior to my wedding adding a 2nd tent in fear of rain. They were able to accommodate and we so professional about it. They can easily bend and flow as your plans solidify. Set up and tear down were both flexible with our schedule and timely. They are your answer for your event needs.

    Easy to work with

    We rented a heated tent and lights from Event Central for our winter wedding. They were responsive, and it was easy for us to book our rental with them. They handled all of the set-up and tear-down, and the tent looked great! We recommend hiring them for your next event.

    Great rentals and service!

    I was so happy with our rentals for our tent wedding reception in Gettysburg. Channon was amazing throughout the planning process! Great service!

    Small wedding in the city

    Very flexible when I called to make some small changes - fast phone and email communication. Had setup at our venue before, so super helpful. Everything arrived on time, and even when we ended up with round instead of square tables at first they acknowledged it and corrected it promptly, no added stress in the end!

    We used Event Central for tent, lighting, and dance floor rental for our daughter's wedding reception, and couldn't have been happier! Channon was very easy to work with from the very beginning and very easy to communicate with, which was important because we had never rented a tent before. She was very knowledgeable about what size would be best and how much lighting would look good. The tent size she suggested turned out to be perfect and the tent was beautiful. Event Central was very helpful with communicating well about tent delivery and set up times which was important because of the large amount of rain this summer. We ended up with a great day, the tent, lights and floor were perfect and we would be very happy to work with Event Central again!

    We just got married in October and we used Event Central for our flatware and China. I had the pleasure of working with Michael and he was so wonderful to work with. He helped me with every question and concern I had and was very quick to get back to me.:) He helped with recommendations on flatware that would look good with our table settings and table decor and everything turned out so beautifully!!! I was so happy to have been able to work with them!! Would absolutely recommend to any bride looking for any rental need in regards to linens, chair and flatware!

    We rented chiavari chairs from Event Central for our wedding and they are absolutely the best to work with. Everyone at Event Central was so responsive and really worked with us to assure that we got the best deal on our event rentals. Their prices are the best in the area and they are super accomadating! If you are renting tables, chairs and linens for your wedding, you should absolutley go with Event Central.

    My wedding was this past weekend at Moonstone Manor and we used Events Central for all the glassware. They were kind enough to deliver them a day before for convenience. They also picked them up with no problem after I had previously arranged to deliver them back myself.

    Sierra made our experience extra awesome. She was helpful and professional and always had great suggestions when we were unsure about something. We were also amazed at how the tent went up! The rentals were great- everyone enjoyed sitting under the huge tent.

    We rented an awesome red and white striped tent for our wedding that fit in perfectly with our theme. Delivery was quick, setup was easy. The cost was really cheap compared to other rental companies in the area as well. I would definitely use them again in the future!

    Event Central was wonderful to deal with as far as wedding rental items. Even Central supplied us with a dance floor, a tent, linens, pipe and drape, and numerous other items. Along the way we made many changes. Each time we did, Channon, our Event Central representative, was professional and gracious. Ultimately, Event Central was instrumental in creating a beautiful wedding for my daughter.

    We worked with Mike Horn. We rented silver chaivari chairs and black seat cushions. Mike made sure the number of chairs we needed were reserved far in advance and that the delivery to our reception site was timely.

    I have worked with Event Central for over 20 years. As a caterer who is a perfectionist in quality and service in my business, working with Event Central is a great partnership. They are always on time, the tents, dishes, flatware, glassware, chairs....all of the rentals, are pristine. It is nice to know that they also update their equipment and we have many choices instead of just one style of an item. And they go out of their way to provide the best service possible, even setting up an after hours pick up. Their staff is pleasant and aims to keep the client satisfied!

    Scott Schultz, Andy Mattrick and the entire Event Central team did an amazing job with our wedding. They were so attentive and helped us through the entire process. I am a very visual person and their warehouse is set up to help you envision your reception. They have tents, tables, lighting, linens, glassware, place settings, decor, etc. We took full advantage of all of their services.

    Event Central works directly with caterers, because they don't always have their own linens, silverware or place settings and they will outsource to Event Central. Save yourself the trouble of paying more than you should and go directly through Event Central! They will walk you through every step.

    One thing I was very happy about was, I was unaware of how many tables my caterer would need...on the day of our wedding, we were short 3 table linens. Event Central took care of everything and made sure we had linens prior to the start of the ceremony. Their customer service was so awesome that I didn't even know this happened until after the wedding. It was just taken care of. That's certainly what you should look for in vendors.

    Andy Mattrick not only handles all things marketing, but is also a graphic designer. He designed a new tent for Event Central and we were the first to use it with the Sunburst end caps. Our tent was 50' long by 75' wide - we had 162 people and there was plenty of breathing room! Perfect for an outdoor wedding.

    Event Central did a fantastic job with our event. When I stopped by EC for a consultation with Scott Schultz, we actually held the meeting back in the warehouse where everything was stored - they had a special space set up with sample wedding settings. I was so impressed with how CLEAN everything was, and that other rental companies actually send their tents to EC to have them cleaned, because they have special machines. Scott took the time to make sure we had everything we needed covered.

    After our consultation, Scott very quickly put together a quote and requested to join us on our site visit so he could make sure everything would go well. Unfortunately, he had to deal with a VERY curmudgeony site owner and the space for the tent which was smaller than we had anticipated. Scott rolled with the punches, got right down to problem solving and worked with my wedding coordinator to find a solution. Within a couple days he had an entirely new quote put together to accommodate the changes (and the grouchy site owner).

    Scott was very responsive to all of my inquiries and requests throughout the process and everything looked GREAT the day of the wedding. I couldn't have asked for better service from a rental company.

    Event Central was amazing. We got all our rentals from them- tents, tables, chairs for ceremony and reception, dance floor, and sound system. The sound system was a late addition, but when we dropped by their office, the young lady at the desk was so nice and helped us choose the right sound system by allowing us to go back into the warehouse so my husband could check each one before we made a decision. They set the tents up at my parents' house two days before the wedding, and were very professional while setting up. Great rental company!

    They were great, I wanted to rent circular mirrors for my reception tables, but didn't want to spend the money to buy them. They were much less than I could have rented or purchased anywhere else, and they were great in that I was able to pick them up on Friday and return it on Monday without being charged for all those days, they only charged for one!!! Highly recommend them for any rentals you might need!!!

    I worked with Mike Horn at Event Central.
    Mike is such a sweet heart and is very accommodating! I had a very large order and he made me feel like money was NOT his first priority, rather ensuring that I have everything I needed for my wedding day. This was very important to me and is a huge testament to the business culture at Event Central. I would consider myself a very specific and demanding bride and Mike made sure to review items with me time and time again.

    I swear I must have ordered one of everything from event central... because of this, my set up time took a very long time. Mikes crew worked from around 10 am to 3:30 am in order to get everything done for my big day! Despite the fact that it was cold and rainy, his men pushed through and accomplished all of the elements that needed to get done in order for my wedding to be a success the next day.

    Could not have put my wedding together without Event Central. They had the largest selection of items, from the tent to the sound system to the serving spoons. For a DIY, self-catered affair like ours, it was a huge relief to rent everything from one place (you'll pay a bit more for the convenience but we considered it well worth the cost). Channon kept in touch throughout the process and cheerfully accommodated all my changes -- very professionally handled.

    October Wedding

    So glad I rented a tent from Event Central for my wedding reception. They were super responsive and accommodating. The tent was beautiful and exactly what I wanted.

    The table clothes were a bit pricey for the value but the set up and pick up crew were EXCELLENT! Give those fellas a raise!!! Motivated, hard working people are a rare find and worth investing in. Great crew!!!

    Overall I was happy. My only complaint is that I could not return your linens on a Sunday which created a problem when we needed to leave for our honeymoon on Sunday after our wedding. However, there did not end up being an extra charge for the late return which was a great surprise.

    We rented chavari chairs from this vendor. They were super easy to work with .. they delivered the chairs Friday afternoon, which gave us time to set them up for Saturday. I gave 3 stars for value because we had to unpack the chairs friday and then after the wedding we had to repack them so they could be picked up Saturday. If a reasonable price was given for this service I am sure we would have done that instead.

    everything was great, I just felt that returning everything Monday morning was a little early and we also received 2 broken glasses when we go our order before even opening anything. but other than that it really made our wedding special.

    This was my first event as a catering lead. Channon and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful which made my job so much easier. I learned a lot from them in the process.

    Overall I was very pleased with my rental from Event Central. Several months ago I placed an order for both chairs and tables for my wedding. A week before the wedding, I discovered that I ordered the wrong size of tables. Due to the late notice, Event Central was not able to provide the new size of table that I needed. I asked to cancel the table portion of my rental, and Ms. Fike informed me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee because the wedding was only a week away. My mistake had me very flustered and desperate for a good solution, and Ms. Fike was kind enough to waive the cancellation fee and adapt my order to just chairs. In addition, she made sure that I received a refund to match the adjusted order, as my deposit for the original order was greater than the amount owed for the chairs alone. I am very thankful for Ms. Fike's understanding and flexibility.

    In addition, my in laws had no trouble picking up or returning my chair rental. I'm pleased that they received quality customer service during both interactions with Event Central.

    They were very flexible with my mom constantly thinking of something else we needed that was not on the list. Everybody there was very nice and easy to work with. The only problem we had was that there was a wedding there the day before that also rented from event central and apparently some confusion on what was whose and we ended up with dirty coffee cups, since the clean ones were picked up with the night before's stuff. Other than that, no problems.

    Event Central was very efficient in our planning of our wedding. We rented a dance floor from them. They were very prompt in getting back to me and worked with us on all our needs.

    I had rented Chiavari chairs for my wedding. They were beautiful and in great condition! The staff were easy to work with since they were able to drop of the chairs and pick them up (no worries for me).The only thing I had a problem with was a hidden fee that I was unaware of. I had rented the exact amount of chairs for the number of people I had invited to the wedding. 50 people RSVP'd saying they weren't able to make it so naturally I called to cancel 50 chairs. I was charged a 50% cancellation fee that I was neither told about when I rented the chairs nor was it stated on the contract. The only place I found out about this was on the website and it is only mentioned once.

    Deliver to "Capitol Dome" was excessive. I inquired with seven different rental companies and none was going to charge an additional fee to take items up an elevator to the dome. But this was the only company that had white padded chairs available.

    Also, to charge an additional fee to drop off and pick up a small round table one block from the Capitol was embarrassing. I had to carry the table over, in my tux, on my wedding day. Just because it is a "wedding" doesn't mean items and deliveries should be significantly increased.

    Once again, I asked four other rental companies about charging an additional fee to drop a table off a black away and none of them would have charged this.

    Unfortunate.

    U would only recommend this vendor if they cannot gather their needed items from another company.

    Event Central has great quality products for very reasonable prices. They also carry most everything you would need for a wedding - one-stop shopping. The have a great damage waiver plan that is very helpful for those accidental breakages during dinner and such. My only complaint with Event Central was with their communication. My consultant was very responsive when I was getting initial information and setting up my order, but after that, she was VERY slow to respond to my e-mails if she answered them at all. A couple of times I had to call in to get my questions answered because she hadn't answered my e-mail after a week. Also, the contract I signed when I came in to the store was somehow lost, so I had to fill out another one just before the wedding. In the end, though, it all went well; we had no issues at all with the rentals on or after the wedding day itself.

    At first, Event Central seemed like a wonderful and reliable company to work with. I rented 90 wooden chairs for my wedding ceremony that took place in a state park. Because the park had strict rules about leaving things unattending overnight, we were forced to pay Event Central an extra $40 to drop off and pick-up at specific times. The day of my wedding came and Event Central showed up on time to deliver and set-up the chairs. The aunt was in charge of the ceremony site while I got dressed and she said they were easy to work with and they did everything as promised. Before they left they said they would return at 4:30 (their paid scheduled time) to pick-up the chairs. It ended up raining during our wedding ceremony, so everything was rushed. We ended up being about 45 minutes ahead of schedule but my aunt said she would wait at the park until 4:30, so they could pick up the chairs. They waited, in the rain, until 5:30 pm - they never showed up to get the chairs. My aunt missed two hours of our wedding reception because she was waiting for them. She said she called and called. She called the afterhours phone number and no one answered. She finally left. My family went to the park the next afternoon and the chairs had been pick-up by then, luckily, by Event Central and not the park service. It was quite frustrating that I paid an extra fee to make sure they were taken care of and this business couldn't even be bothered to answer their phone. Totally unprofessional. Too bad they are the only legitimate event rental company in the area or someone could put them out of business.
